We have quite a large database of approximately 20,000 and the monthly cost is better than anything else we have seen - and the quality better than most. Pros The delivery rate to inbox was higher than we have experienced with other providers. Cons If you segment your data lists as we do, you cannot send a campaign to ore than one list so you have to set up multiple campaigns even though the message is the same. Review Source EP Eric P. They seemed to work fine until I faced an issue with the date triggered workflows. Other than that, great and affordable Mailchimp alternative. Prices are based on the number of emails sent. So if you have a larger database, you can prefer Mailjet Cons Date trigger in the workflow is not working properly. Support is usually late to respond. The mailjet API is vastly superior to the MailChimp API Great pricing Cons Not quite as newbie-friendly as a solution like MailChimp. it's definitely for a more developer oriented email solutions. However the email campaign drag-and-drop builder is vastly superior to MailChimp. March 29, 2018 5.0 I was able to rapidly provide a communications solution for a registration system. Pros Easy to use API with extensive templating system. The API is flexible without being too terse. It's been a pleasure to work with. Cons The only thing I did not like was that some of the documentation for configuring your project for one of the API libraries did not clearly state they were for version 2, when version 3 was the most recent release. Moreover its a good SMTP service for delivering emails into the recipient's mailbox. Previously it was not that good, but with time Mailjet has enhanced its performance. Pros Mailjet is easy to set up and comes with a good delivery system. It also helps in achieving good open click through rates. Cons It is a quite expensive as compared to other good service like Amazon SES. Mailjet makes it easy for me to send with more than one recipients (cc and bcc). Also easy to add attachments to the mail. And it always works with gmail or yahoo, fast to receive emails and not mistakenly goes to spam. Cons API docs may need more samples. I particularly like being able to write the newsletter and programme it to send at a particular time on a particular date. Pros Mailjet is reasonably priced and fairly easy to use, although I did like it better before the recent change. I use the basic package and it does everything I was looking for a lot cheaper than the competition. Pros How easy it easy to set up your account and to create your first Newsletter. I like to have the option of several template. Even if it always good to have more options, I think the choices you have for the free account is acceptable comparing to the competitors. Cons I really don't like the way of importing contact list, modifying it, adding new people or looking for a contact in a list (you can only search a contact by entering the email and not the first name or last name). I don't like the fact that when you create your newsletter and send it, if you forgot one contact then you cannot resend the same newsletter and you have to duplicate it to resend it to a new contact list which makes no sense to me.
