I didn’t even need a dedicated graphic artist to help me develop my email campaigns. Pros Mailjet is a dream software for marketers like myself. It’s the perfect software for promotions and campaigns using email. I am pleased that it has no daily limit for sending emails to your customers, clients, and subscribers. It also has an excellent categorization tool to manage your database well based on demographics. It also has a robust EDM editor that features incredible templates that you can use intuitively. And on top of that, this software is very affordable. Cons It can be a little stubborn when deleting old archives and contacts. Updates must focus on managing old campaign data so you can easily discard them, and it won’t clutter your existing campaigns. Review Source WL William L. The experience had been absolutely superb!! Pros I run a webmail client on my email server, and can usually only send and receive via that webmail client..... but with mailjet's SMTP service, I can use ANY email client on mobile or pc to check mail on the go!! Not only that, but it is extremely easy to link up to your API and send template-ed messages. I have used it for all my automated emails and love it. Cons Sometimes, this software can be hard to use. Pros \- Very easy to use. - All options which I need are available. - Keeps developing. I see a lot of new options every once in a while. - Customer support is top notch. The user interface is not logical. The support is very slow and not understanding nor flexible. A shame since I intended to test them for multiply clients as well... Pros It is EU based I guess. But there is not really a pro here. Cons Well. About everything. The interface is lacking. After signing up, you can only send a few mails per day. After contacting them; you can send 10 e-mails per hour. When you explain that you need a higher limit for sending transactional e-mails, they reply that you have to send out at least 5 campaigns, even when you explain that you do not intend to send any campaign. After asking for increasing the limit, I got a mail back explaining that I was not compliant with their regulation despite that I have done everything that I have asked for (be aware; Mailchimp is an already in use alternative for the few campaigns we have annually). So when I asked them what was wrong they simply terminated my account. Powerful I use it every day. Pros Cheaper than any other email solution, MailChimp and others. Extremely easy to use. Cons One drawback is that the links are intercepted by MailJet, so that the visitor will first land on the MailJet tracking page and then be redirected to the real page from the mail. Pros Cheaper and actually have using it for months with other account, unfortunately i forgot to pay billing and they're just suspend my account. Cons I have paid for essential package which has no daily sending limit and sending quota per month 15.000, but in their system my account still in free plan with 200 daily sending limit. The price is very reasonable and the reports are fantastic. I'm able to reach my target markets better when I download the reports and track who opens and "clicks" through my messages. Cons Everything is great. I wish that there could be more templates for the emails to give me more "looks" when I do "mailings" Reason for choosing Mailjet Price was far better. In addition, MailChimp charges based on size of mailing list. I'd rather be charged by number of emails that I send out. My current package is perfect for my needs at a reasonable price. Pros It's an excellent mail service that I've had zero problems with. No outages, nothing. Which means I have no headache in trying to get something to work or maintain it. Cons Nothing, I honestly can't think of anything other than it's not free, but I pay a pittance for what I do get to use, which I can't complain about because it's so well priced. Pros The Price: it doesn't charge you for the number of subscribers you have, instead it gives you a maximum numbers of mails you can send/month. This is a very welcome policy for a small non-profit organization like ours, who don't send a lot of emails, but do have quite a variety of subscribers-lists (different target groups). Cons The features are somewhat limited; it does offer a lot on paper, but; f.e. we would like to use segmentation according to specific target groups (education levels). Mailjet seems to be able to do this in theory, but in practice it would seem to require quite some coding, and it isn't so user-friendly. Thankfully, Mailjet offer a free plan which is enough to get you up and running. I find the website easy to navigate. It checks DKIM & DMARC status and provides easy instructions on how to correct such records. I’ve had to use support which was prompt and helpful considering I’m on a free plan and have been for a year or so. I’ve not used any of the e-mail marketing functions so I’m unable to comment on those services but it certainly serves for me as a message relay service and I’m not sure what more it could offer. Pros Free plan. Intuative interface. DKIM / DMARC Recording checking. Cons Some of messages relayed appear in the 'forum' tabs of gmail but that's possibly due to misconfiguraiton on my part somehwere. Review Source AZ Ayaz Z. The major plus point is that this software actually does what it is supposed to do - actually send emails!! There are some softwares that claim to send emails but actually do not. Designing emails and populating it with content is easy as a breeze. Configuring and testing the campaigns is easy to work with. Overall, it is easy to use, however, the software is buggy and needs work. Pros Ease of use to setup, administer and monitor. Configuring templates, contact lists are easy as a breeze. The scheduling is easy to manage and view the stats. Cons Navigation is difficult and a pain especially with multiple campaigns and multiple lists. The software tends to be very buggy and needs refinement. Feels that the developers have released the stable alpha version of the software. Support options are not easily available. Pros – Reasonable and affordable pricing for transactional email (good to integrate as mailing subsystem into SaaS products) – Easy integration – Good delivery rates – Lots of features (analytics, marketing, etc) Cons – Not too many pre-built marketing email templates, but it's highly likely that you would be building your own anyways, as we did. Pros I love the email template builder. I think it's very intuitive and easy to use. The office does not have exclusively tech savvy people so it's nice to know they won't run into any issues learning how to use. Cons The logs don't seem to save forever which is understandable.
