Opsview Enterprise Reviews
"Feature complete and easy to use "
Overall: Easy to setup, the templates dashboards are awesome, you can use your Nagios plugins and can monitor different servers, locally or on the cloud worth the price.
Pros: It was easy to set up, has a ton of options to notify about issues and the current status of what is being monitored it can be connected to different services like EC2 on AWS or VMs on Azure, and since is based on Nagios you can use the same plugins as well.
Cons: Kinda pricy in comparison to other tools, had some issues setting up a database server but in the end worked fine.
"Pricey but totaly worth it"
Overall: I'm supper happy that we chose OpsView and we'r migrating all our application and infrastructure monitoring to it.
Pros: We've switch from nagios to OpsView. It's totally different work comfort. You're getting hundreds of predefined checks and additional community plugins. Configuring monitoring for new serwer or platform is super easy and extremely fast. By just few clicks of a mous you can configure thousands of checks. GUI is clear and flexible in the same time.
Cons: Priceing. It's not cheap but worth every penny.
"Great tool for live monitoring!"
Pros: This is very useful and great monitoring tool. We can easily scale this application in production environments.
Cons: This is not built for the hyper-scale environment. Application database management is always tricky part if you have big database size, it won't easily optimize during an upgrade. Need many works around to stabilize in big environments
"Excellent and easy to use"
Overall: A great solution for getting instant performance data and streamlining IT resources from within a single platform. Easy administration frees up time. and reporting is very good too. There's also a 100% free version available with limited hosts.
