Pros: The software is well thought out, and by far the ONLY affordable option we found on the market. The fact that our employment ads, once on Workable, automatically go out to many FREE job sites without any further action on our part is a huge plus and has led to our being able to have more applications to review (and even more than we can handle sometimes -- but that's HARDLY a complaint!) Workable has been a blessing to our company. I know that sounds cliche', but it's definitely true. I personally spoke with various vendors and attended a few online demos of other options, but the pricing was way beyond what our company's budget could handle! The President of our Company would only support monthly fees that were next to nothing, and I did not believe that such a product existed -- we had also searched a year or so ago, to no avail due to pricing. (Unfortunately I did not come across Workable at that time, or we would be a year into using it by now! The vendor has a helpful, down-to-earth approach. I have received an email or two (often from more than one rep) AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK asking how we like the product and if there is anything Workable can do to further support us. Workable's reps understand the right balance of "helpful". To receive phone calls would be annoying because our office environment is hectic and it's much more efficient to be able to communiate via email. I like receiving their messages, because it provides a quick and easy avenue to address questions or concerns. Any time I have asked a question through email, I have received a response very quickly.

Cons: I do not have any significant complaints. The one thing that the Workable software does not include is a pre-made space for an applicant to input their middle name. In instances where an applicant has a very common first and last name, we WANT that middle name (call us crazy!?!). I approached a Workable rep about this (via trusty email!) and he said that they have found that, in the absence of a specific Middle Name block, applicants tend to put their first and middle name in the First Name block. This has not been our experience at all, and I found that answer a bit offputting -- but it's far from a major issue! The software allows for users to add fields beyond the generic, but I believe applicants would be more apt to fill in their middle name if the block was there, front and center. Some applicants just leave the name space we added blank since it's "after the fact". Again though, if this is our biggest problem, we will still prosper with the help of this software!

Recommendations to other buyers: Price. Price. Price. Software vendors are in abundance and eager to sell their wares. Truth be told, Workable offers an extremely competitive package for a comparably tiny pricetag. It's a good place to get your feet wet, and along the way, you end up realizing that their platform has as much to offer (if not more) than the competitors'. A free trial period is a common offer, and customers deserve to have that transitional period without charge to determine if the package solidly addresses their needs.

Comments: We're a startup with less than 15 people trying to hire 4-5 more. We have two people in charge of recruiting. After getting in touch with other ATS' (Lever, BreezyHR, Jobvite, HiringThing, the Applicant Stack), we went with Workable. This is possibly simply because most of those other softwares put me into a sales cycle queue, and I had to wait 3-4 days before I could talk to someone or see a demo. Meanwhile, Workable lets you sign up for a trial, and gets out of your way. I figured everything out on my own in 20 minutes. I think this is a testament to how well built their UI is-- you don't need a 30 minute handheld demo to figure it out, unlike other ATS (apparently). To compare, BreezyHR was also fairly intuitive, but we liked the feel of Workable better. Lever is also VERY beautiful software, but we got quoted around 6k/year (no monthly option). Meanwhile, Workable, is 200/mo for 4 jobs (monthly, not annual contract), and has 98% of the same functionality. Lever, based on the demo I got from their very nice saleslady, seems better if you're a big company where you need help streamlining communication quickly between departments, or want help auto-nurturing your recruited candidates. That just wasn't us, we're smaller and only hiring 4-5 people right now. Workable was easy to figure out, responsive, customizable, and I liked the monthly pay option. I would recommend it to any startup or small company, without any hesitation. Also, if you're recruiting...the real Workable seller is the People Search function. I almost don't want to talk about it, because I don't want other people to know about it.

Pros: -Incredibly intuitive interface -Upfront pricing that's easy to understand and reasonable (not great, but reasonable) -Customizable pipeline -People Search Chrome extension is INCREDIBLE and no one else has it. -Easy, one step posting to multiple job sites (free and premium) -Custom links so applicants can apply from anywhere and still end up in your pipeline. -On/Off mode: You can pay monthly when you're hiring, and stop when you have no active jobs. You won't lose your data.

Cons: -A few bugs (software doesn't always fetch a photo when you put in an email, even if it finds multiple social profiles) -Customer Support isn't immediate (you have to email, but they usually respond in <6 hours)

Comments: Working with Workable is great! The system is very intuitive and straight forward; it is easy to use, understand, customize, and looks neat and professional. Categories for candidates are well organized and it is easy to manage candidates who were not selected versus those we would like to see continue through the interviewing and hiring process. We have received many hits on our postings and have quality candidates applying for each position we post.

I love how un-cluttered Workable is. Workable has everything we need to successfully fill our positions, and has nothing that we don't need. Our company "careers" page looks very professional, modern, and we love that it can be used on its own as a link from our company page, or embedded via code into our page directly.

I also enjoy the fact that if we're not reaching a good audience using the standard free listings, we have the option for a small fee to make our job posting premier or sponsored on the site of our choice for greater visibility. Haven't had to use this yet though as we're happy with the candidates currently coming in.

It's really easy to add users, hiring managers, and external recruiters to Workable and assign job openings to them. We hire for a lot of different locations and it is great to have a manager 3000 miles away be able to manage their candidates on their own with ease.

Resume upload and parsing is great and helped us from the transition from an old job posting portal to Workable. I uploaded hundreds of resumes from active jobs we had open with the old system into the new posts we made with Workable, and the process took all of 10 minutes with no data entry involved on my end. All our candidates are saved and attached to their proper jobs, and nothing was lost in the transition.

Workable customer service is very prompt and polite, and always resolve our questions and inquiries quickly and with great advice and support. Workable shows that they value their customers and will work with us to train us in their system, help with setup and any issues we may encounter. To be honest we don't really have a lot of issues with Workable to begin with, but the few we had (getting them set up as a vendor because they are not based in the US and basics of learning ins and outs of the system) have been resolved to our expectations.

A+ service at an A+ value.

Comments: It's a good company and a good platform that is easy to use. If you are looking for a more cost effective option and are okay with losing some of the features you would get with a bigger ATS, Workable is a good choice. They do focus on rolling out new features and I am excited to see what happens next with them.

Pros: Very easy to use system, and the interfaces are intuitive for admins, users, and applicants. Each job goes out to 12 free job boards and candidates find it very easy to apply. Also allows candidates to apply with LinkedIn. Tracking of candidates through each job process is very easy with the "Bins" that peoples can flow through. Email templates, interview templates help keep the process simple and effective. Workable allows for each integration with HRIS, screening tools, and other interfaces.

Cons: Not much customization available depending on the price point you are willing to pay. More of an out-of-box software and does not allow the flexibility you would see with some other bigger ATS's. Some features you

Pros: I really enjoy the ease of use. Everything is laid out in such a way, that you can navigate easily. I've trained a few people to use Workable, and they picked it up quickly. They also have many integrations that improve the value. The customizable pipeline is great, and they offer templates you can write, or use their provided ones. They have the option to drag and drop a resume, which will upload a candidate. I use this feature frequently and it is the quickest and most effective I've seen. Overall, Workable has the features I want most in an ATS.

Cons: The reporting is not my favorite. They have many options for reports, but you cannot customize all of them, which makes it harder to track the lead sources in depth. I wish there was a better rating system, currently, I can do thumbs up or thumbs down, but I find many candidates don't fall into either of those two categories.

Overall: The ease of use allows me to track my applicants in the most effective way. Workable saves me time in recruiting, with the options of templates, background checks, assessments, and other integrations.

Comments: If you only need a few roles, and you want something super easy to use with basically no learning curve, this is a great option. If you need 5 or more open jobs at all times, you might benefit from shopping around.

Pros: Workable was VERY easy to use - the buttons are where you want them to be, it's easy to create new roles, emails, etc. My favorite piece was the clean/easy dashboard. An unlimited user is a nice feature. The scorecards are awesome and easy to use, and they are creating new helpful features like this all the time. Gmail integration works well.

Cons: Workable's pricing structure isn't conducive to our needs anymore, it's gotten expensive for the platform that it is. There's no email automation aside from template creation, you can't create different pipeline stages for different roles - you are stuck with one pipeline for all your reqs. Outlook integration does NOT work well.

Comments: I started a trial to find out how Workable could benefit our business and needless to say, I was unable to complete the Trial because I was asked to provide a Utility Bill or "Other business documentation" that includes my business address. Upon providing Paychex Invoices and Employment Tax Forms (sent directly from the state) that they ("Workable") will not be able to approve my job postings based on their guidelines and that this was their final decision. It seemed like Workable would have been a great choice if you can get past the verification process. Below is the email I was sent. " Hello Joey, We have passed this business documentation to our technical team for review. They have come back to us and based on the information provided, they will not be able to approve your postings again based on their guidelines. This is their final decision in regards to the jobs on the account, unfortunately. In our experience, it is unlikely there are any changes that will bring it within our guidelines for publication. In this case, it would be best to try posting on the job boards directly. I am sorry I can't be more helpful in this case. Juan Workable Customer Support"

Pros: The overall look and feel of the interface is clean and easy to navigate. The pricing seems to be on the fair side.

Cons: Regardless of being a paying customer, you receive terrible customer service. The company cannot be relied on if you run into any troubles with their system, actually reaching someone capable of assisting you is near impossible. Last email from this company has been included in my comments.

Pros: * Able to build out recruiting funnels/hiring process.

* Wide variety of analytics to track recruiting KPIs.

* Candidates can easily be tracked throughout the process.

* Quickly pull up social media information.

Cons: * Gmail conversations do not always sync, which leaves you needing to use Workable.

* Duplicates are not recognized by the system.

* Social media information is not always accurate.

Overall: Workable is a great tool for tracking and building out recruitment funnels. There are some irregularities, such as issues where LinkedIn profile duplicates are not recognized when uploading a candidate via a link. With a large team, this adds an extra step to every upload by needing to double-check the system for a candidate prior to making an upload.

Room for Improvement: Build out the Chrome extension to immediately recognize duplicates straight from the browser.

Recommendations to other buyers: 90% of recruiters make a hire through LinkedIn, but social media is becoming increasingly important for job seekers. I would tie in the ability to search social media profiles from the browser, and search for system duplicates from the browser.

New pricing is making this product not a good choice for smaller companies with recruiters who need a feature rich ATS system.

Comments: This is a great product and I'm very frustrated that in a very short time they have cut out the smaller companies with their pricing. I really had not planned on looking at other ATS systems but worry what else is ahead for the "legacy" users.

Pros: Up till now I have been very happy with this product. New enhancements have slowly been coming out and when a bug is found it is reported and fixed in acceptable time. Support is very reactive and easy to work with. When I chose this software, I liked that they charged by the job and not by the user, since I'm the main one that uses it with 6 others using the interview part of the pipeline and we only need about 10 jobs at one time.

Cons: For my small boutique consulting firm, what turned out to be a pro has now turned into a con. the cost is the main issue.

Pros: Workable is extremely easy to use. The features built in are very self explanatory and the job boards are top notch.

Cons: Everything seems to be coming at a price now. Workable started off as one of the most truly affordable ATS systems. They have not always been the first ATS to the table when introducing new functionality, but they seem to do a good job with it. However, they have been taking away portions of the product that were initially available, which comes off as greedy. Customer service is incredibly inflexible at times, which is quite frustrating for a company that has been with them for so long.

Pros: This software has allowed us to connect with multiple employees around the world. The tool allows you to keep control from the beginning of the application process up to the hiring stage, the connectivity with other apps is seamless. We've synced our hiring process with BambooHR and we are happy about it.

Cons: If a potential employee gets rejected once we have to delete the info before they can re-apply, this is a hassle as we can't store previous information or feedback from their first application.

Overall: This software has helped us hire our international workforce without any major issues. We continue to find new integration tools that will help us achieve our hiring goals faste.

Pros: Generally a good software for recruiting except for timeline and dates. Easy to use and handle.

Cons: What I dislike and face difficulty is the historical timeline. The software does not indicate the historical date of submittal or date of comment/note. It just says 10 days back or 1 year back (Which may be approximate) . Dont have exact date to pull up candidate email from the outlook if needed ! Also if you reply to a workable email message the reply is partially cutoff and does not appear on work

Pros: Keeping candidates organized, create own pipeline stages, communicate with others or with candidate directly.

Cons: Messages meant to be sent within the company were sent to the candidate by different stakeholders, ie more than one person made this mistake which means this is a flaw in the design. Talent pool was also a bit confusing, I'd like to move candidates from Talent Pool to a pipeline and vice versa.

Overall: Organized candidates, kept track of communications to candidates, easy to pull reports!

Pros: It's simple and easy to use. Easily posts to external job boards with just a click. The employer careers pages are simple and clean- could be more customizable and interactive but the product is fairly cheap compared to competitors.

Customer service is FAST and always helpful. We've been with workable since the beginning and they've taken our feedback into consideration.

Cons: The only real downside is the database search is somewhat cheap. I'm a huge pipeline recruiter- their hashtags to categorize help but a boolean search function would be awesome.

Pros: Whatever advertisement you post, gets automatically posted in free job sites and you get more reach and this feature is available in both free and paid versions. The application is very cost effective. A clean and intuitive interface is provided. It is one of simplest applicant tracking system. The pipeline feature is very much customizable. You are provided with a people search google chrome extension which reduces time consumption. There is this on and off mode, as payment is concerned, you need to only pay for the time you use the application. The applicants can also apply via linked in. the application provides a lot of integrations including HRIS and other screening tools. The available email and interview templates help in simplifying the process and reduces the time lag. The interfaces are easy to use for both the users as well as the applicants. Very responsive customer service and support system.

Cons: The Application is a little pricey for small firms even though the features are well suited for startups.

Comments: Workable is an amazing product and it is ideal for recruiting in a professional work environment. I would highly recommend.

Pros: The program is easy to understand and use. The program offers flexibility in designing communication templates and the application. I appreciate the ability to directly link to my calendar.

Cons: Though I believe Customer Service has done a very nice job of helping me learn the system, it can be frustrating when I am looking for an answer quickly. Communication starts with an email or chat session which is not often returned until the next day.

Pros: Our company previously used to use an email account and an Excel spreadsheet to manage job applications/potential candidates. Although it wasn't pretty, this method worked when our applicant pool was limited. When we moved to our new office, one of our main priorities was to heavily recruit interns/sales people. When the applications started pouring in, we knew that we had to find a program that would: -easily manage the applicants coming in -store all resumes/cover letters/information in one place -send out automated emails for different stages in the hiring process A representative from Software Advice suggested Workable to us, and after our first demo, we knew this was the perfect program for our small/mid level business. The interface is sleek and very user-friendly. What we found particularly helpful was the ability to streamline the applicants using a company-specific Workable page where applicants can submit their information/resume electronically. All in all, we are very happy with Workable and will continue to use it in the future.

Cons: The product is a bit on the pricey side, but considering all the time we've saved by using it, the costs are definitely justified.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you know exactly what you need from a HR software. If you absolutely don't need a applicant-portal or a fancy user interface, don't shell out the unnecessary money. Also be conscious of your employee size. Many HR software products are better suited for specific sizes.

Comments: Overall, Workable is a great applicant tracking system (ATS). When my team was using a different ATS, every hiring manager began the meeting by telling me how much they hated that ATS. Once we switched to Workable, everything just worked the way it was supposed to. The hiring managers enjoyed using it too.

Some of my favorite parts of it are:

- it is very easy to set up

- the UX is very clean and easy to use

- the customer service is excellent - I always got speedy responses to any questions I asked!

- the integrations with free/paid job boards is great, they offer a lot of options

- they're constantly making improvements and adding new features

- the 15 day trial is a great way to play around with it and see how easy it is to set up

- the Chrome extension that allows you to import profiles into Workable

Some small but standard features that I think it's missing are:

- the ability to delay emails (i.e. if you're rejecting a candidate, have the email send in 1 or 2 days instead of immediately)

- the ability to customize job pipelines for each role (you can customize it for the entire company, though!)

We are switching to another ATS because we want more out of our ATS (offer letter integration, interview feedback, etc). However, Workable is a great tool! I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to start using an ATS to organize their hiring, or anyone who is unhappy with their ATS and wants something basic but very solid. The ability to pay monthly without a contract is also appealing - you can try it out and then switch if you don't like it.

Comments: Big fan. These folks got their product right. Highly recommend, especially for small teams with limited time to devote to the recruiting process. Totally streamlines everything!

Pros: I've been involved in hiring for over a decade and have never found as great a tool as Workable! You can do just about everything through its interface: search, view resumes and screening questions, outreach, set appointments that sync with my calendar, compare candidates, share candidates, rate and comment on candidates (great for teams), easily follow candidates through their path to hiring, buy advertising with all the major job portals. This is everything I need to make hiring a snap!

Cons: I really only have 2 comments regarding ways to improve: 1) When printing resumes, allow them to maintain their original formatting submitted by the candidate 2) Integrate a feature like Assistant.to for scheduling so that I can give candidates several different time slots to choose from that automatically sync to my calendar

Cons: Some more integrations would be great, but my primary request would be for them to lower the number of clicks required to achieve certain functions. It can be incredibly repetitive with unnecessary clicks.

Pros: I like the parsing algorhytm of Workable: just enter the name and candidate's email and social profile's information will be parced from the net. Easy upload of CVs, great candidate management, erase of duplicated entries and check of CVs for duplicates, great system for team work, notices, shortlisting etc.

Cons: Too many functions and you need time to discover and use all of them. Not very clear pricing structure for packages and paid functions.

Pros: I really like how you can easily categorize job candidates. The ability to publish to multiple job sites simultaneously is convenient. I also like how easy it is to email candidates right from Workable. If I switch to my main email, Workable also allows me to import those emails with one click. I can add tags that make it easy to search for candidates later. I also really like the note system and that it leaves a time stamp.

Cons: I do not like that once you close out a position you cannot contact or leave notes about those applicants easily without importing them to a new job posting. I understand paying for active job postings, but sometimes I am still contacting potential candidates after closing a position. It would be nice if that was not affected just because the posting is no longer active.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would recommend that you try this software. Workable offers a free trial. The software is great for our needs, but may not be for everyone. With so many applicant tracking systems to choose from, I think more companies would be wise to offer a free trial.

Comments: I love the people search feature. If you guys can fix its limitation would be great.

Pros: It integrates talent search with the hiring pipeline. When you identify a talent with "people search" you can access to his/her information from all the main social networks like Linkedin, Facebook, etc. Contact information is the most recently used. Customer service is eager to answer all the questions.

Cons: "People search" doesn't show a lot of the people that should be able to find. For example, I searched for QA Engineers in my City and did not identify at least 15 people I know are working as so for more than 5 years and are registered as so in many networks like Facebook and Linkedin. This makes me think that the people search feature doesn't work properly. Price

Pros: I had my HR team use this software and everyone told me that starting from maintaining the resume data till the candidate is onboarded the product employs all streamlined methods to ensure the data is stored correctly without any inaccuracy.

Cons: I understand it is little time talking for anyone to understand the tool first because it looks like it is complex at a first glance., but training can reduce this shortcoming.

Pros: Workable is one of the best tool where the migration of your database is the easiest from you old system or database, supports clean and smooth mass mailing ,it is one of the tools where it has a extension for google chrome as well for one click and easy recruiting and many such other important features that you may need

Cons: Workable seriously need to work on their customer service platform which is often slow sometimes really non responsive and not helping ,Job posting also needs to be improvised as its not that interacting like their other competitors in the market

Comments: Workable is a fantastic product for internal recruitment teams, with a great UX/UI and workflow. It completes our company careers page, looks great and has already started to attract quality candidates to our openings. We really couldn't be happier!

Pros: Fantastic value for money, and complete flexibility across pricing plans! Custom Job Application Forms - helping you get as much information from the candidate as possible from the initial stages. Multiple Job Site Posting with ease. Social Recruiting - linking all of your social networks to make sure your jobs get optimum exposure. Team Involvement - you can add as many team members as you like to the system, and share as much or little as you like with the hiring managers. It is a much better way of controlling the review and interview processes, rather than simply relying on emails. Relevant Reporting & Analytic s - to help you see how your recruitment processes are performing, and also help you understand where you are having the most success when attracting new candidates.

Cons: It would be great if we could link our Twitter account to Workable for tweets about new roles, but other than that we have none.

Pros: First of all, for the startups who have really limited budget, Workable has a free plan, exactly what a startup needs. You can punlish up to 5 positions which is adequate for a small size company.

Secondly, the integrarion with indeed.com and glassdoor is boosting the number of applicants and increase your visibility even if you are a small company has no budget for promoting jobs.

As last, the employee acquisition funnel that they created is really helpful and communicating with your team member about different applicants helps and saves time a lot.

Cons: Even if I really like this tool there are some points that O did bot find user friensly in terms of interface and experience.

The acquisition funnel should be easy and obvious in terms of interface. While passing between different profiles, sometimes you feel lost.

Searching different profiles, you do not easily understand in what stage of specific person. Also, qualifying, rejecting options are sometimes leading to wromg actions due to the layout of buttons and interactions.

Overall: Quick hiring process, time saving, useful insights and tools, flexible, enhancing communication with full visibility of applicants. Better than alternatives since the job posting from different well-know websites. As a free of service, I was completely satisfied with the result that Workable contributed to my team.

Pros: I love that the postings are automatically plugged into multiple sites. The interface is convenient in that you can see where it's being looked at and sign up for a more thorough posting through Workable at different sites if needed. The data collection and posting gathered from the site (resume, letters, etc.) is helpful and well organized.

Cons: Costs can add up when posting online. You have the Workable fee and the additional fees for other sites can be pricey. I do wish there was a discount of some sort.

Overall: Like any job posting, this can be hit or miss if you are using the lowest priced version. It has been helpful in finding quality candidates

Pros: Easy to set up and start posting jobs. The interface is easy to understand and you don't need to waste anytime with user guides or training for that matter. Their support team is very accessible and I rarely "can't" get a hold of them. The price is also a reasonably easy sell to decision makers.

Cons: It leaves something to be desired. I have used Jazz in the past and Jazz offers way more candidate focused ./ user focused features that Workable just hasn't done. When you do ask the Support staff they usually don't even had the feature ideas on a product roadmap which is frustrating because with a software purchase you hope they are always going to improve it. It's a low cost option and that becomes obvious when you start using the software.

Recommendations to other buyers: If cost is your biggest priority, it's a great solution. It was the first ATS my company implemented and they were hardly sold on the idea of an ATS to begin with. But if you can stretch your budget, go with Jazz or something like that. It would be worth the cost.

Comments: I would strongly recommend it is easy to share infromation about the progress with Managers and the Dashboard gives a really quick and useful overview of what is it going on.

Pros: It is exactly what you need for recruitment! I have tried many of them and this is the one I find more useful. Really easy to set up and integrate with Indeed Assessments, also good analytics feature where you can see which pages have been more effective, etc.

Cons: The cherry on the top would be for this to integrate with our other HR programs, such as Gusto and Zenefits.

Pros: This is the best solution I have ever seen to organize the OVERLOAD of CVs and job applications. It makes the process easier, from job posting to the pipeline of gathering the CVs and profiles all in one place, to send it to hiring screening team to interview and hired. Besides this it helps you with quite usefull tool like mass rejection, templates of leters that is intelligent and fill the gaps with the candidate information.

Cons: It's a bit scary and tricky at the begning, but it's quite intuitive and user friendly. I can't think in a super CON, probably only the fact of me not being that senior in using it I can afirm that takes a bit to get used to it.

Overall: Having the process of recruitment from advertising to hiring so organized and easy was a life changer to a company like mine that has a big employee turnover once we work with Fixed Term contract and projects that are always changing.

Comments: Good product but bad policies and customer support.

Pros: Good system if you are in Eurpore or outside of US and you have time to deal with their helpless customer support.

Cons: - They bill US companies from their UK system for which your bank will charge international fees. They do not make this clear at any point when you pay. You might be able to see these charges on your statement from the bank though. - Not a user-friendly system. System does not - Confusing plans & subscription: They will enroll you for the trial with 10 slots for ads but upon expiration you have the option to subscribe to pay-as-you-go plan. If you do subscribe, the system does not clarify that you cannot use job slots with this subscription. Once you buy subscription for a job you cannot switch it to the other jobs which is totally different from what you get during trial period. If you now try to switch archiving the job to switch, they will not let you un-archive the job which you have already fully paid. You will be dinged for that money which you paid and guess what their fees are non-refundable. By US standards this company would be almost illegal to not provide services after getting paid. Their customer support will not un-archive the job either but they will direct you to pay for the job again!

Comments: - My experience is positive but we are limited in our capabilities. We are looking for an overall recruiting tool that tackles the candidate experience and allows us to maximize on our pool. Workable is good for a basic recruitment tool but may not be the best if you are a growing company with over 100 employees and need something more robust.

Pros: - Good design and easy to use

Cons: - You have to buy jobs slots in bundles instead of being able to post unlimited roles - If you have a candidate that you want to upload that does not fit a role and you want to put them into a project of others like them, there isn't an option for that - The reporting is very basic - There isn't really anything there to survey or measure candidate experience - Cannot post for different company divisions under the same bundle - if you have different brands and need to purchase two accounts, cannot link the pool on the back-end to quickly check for duplicates

Pros: What I like most about Workable is that I can use assessments to help score and rank higher qualified candidates when we post requisitions for our organization. In the past we have to review each candidate separately make the decisions if we wish to invite the candidate for an interview, refer them to another open requisition or send them a rejection letter. With the assessments that we can build and attached to the requisition our candidates will apply for a open position and will have to complete those assessment. We can then view their ranking and easily decide if that candidate is worthy of a interview. We like how we can track our candidate resume and also view their social media sites like LinkedIn. We feel with Workable we have hired more qualified candidates that provide immediate value to our organization from the first day they begin employment with us.

Cons: Sometimes the candidates have the resume in a another format that is difficult for us to view in Workable. This rarely occurs but enough to mention it as a dislike.

Overall: I can easily review more qualified candidates when they apply for an open requisition.

Comments: This is the perfect ATS and highly recommended as a great jumping off point into the world of recruiting and hiring software.

Pros: If you don't have any system in place to review and track applicants, Workable is a great program to get started. There's practically no learning curve and even the most computer illiterate people in my office have been able to pick up the program right away. It has a great design and user interface.

Cons: Workable is a great first step into recruiting and hiring software, but for a business looking for more advanced features and uses, I would not recommend Workable. It's not very customizable and can be limited in its scope.

Comments: This is my first experience with Workable and it has performed beyond my expectations! We are a rapidly growing tech company and as such have increased our hiring needs. We are trying to streamline our hiring process and increase efficiency for those involved. With no training and just a brief overview from my HR dept I was able to quickly and easily access my job posting, review applications and weed out the next level applicants. Whether passing to the next step (which is customizable by the way) or declining the applicant it is very simple to organize the hiring process. The mass email feature is also extremely helpful for contacting applicants about the next steps, or form "thank you" letter. This is a really intuitive system, they've done a great job!

Pros: Very easy to navigate, I like the quick view of applicants and stages and I like that I can click any one of them to see who¿s in that stage. Very intuitive, little to no training needed

Cons: Haven't found any cons at all

Comments: Support it tops. The basics are all there for us to ramp up and adjust our recruiting to demand. No worries at all recommending this tool.

Pros: Straightforward, easy to use - support was very responsive and really helped me get up to speed fast. Pay per job model is excellent for a startup like us.

Cons: We're on the pay per job model so we pay for each position that we advertise. However I wanted to put up a 'General' job for people who don't see a posting to apply to and give them an opportunity to posit their reasoning for working with us. I'd have to pay for this extra job (which is kind of like a open-ended question) so instead I just put an email address up for people to shoot to if they want to try. Would be nice if I could just not advertise that job and have it sitting open on our website.

Comments: We were looking for an applicant tracking system with an easy user interface and social profile capability. Workable allows us to easily upload all resumes that are emailed to us and track candidates in a way that works for our team. The step-by-step progress of candidates is easy on the eyes and allows everyone on each hiring team to see exactly where each candidate stands. I really like the evaluation capabilities as well. My only hesitations are with the archiving of jobs and the customization of the job posting template. When someone is hired, it doesn't automatically close the position, move it to archive, and email the remaining candidates. This would be a nice feature.

Pros: The user interface and the ability to upload resumes.

Recommendations to other buyers: For the price, I believe this is the best option out there. It is also nice to be month-to-month instead of stuck in a contract. I'd definitely do the free trial of this product to see if it is the best choice for your company.

We were up and running in minutes

Comments: We recently switched to Workable from another Applicant Tracking System, and the experience has been refreshing. It's very simple to use and get things done without getting confused or spending endless time in configuration. We were up and running in minutes, and getting internal adoption was easy. I would like to stress the ease of adoption: our line managers are delighted to use Workable's interface. Without the need to chase and pressure people to add their interview feedback and evaluations, our job has become much easier. The candidate experience is also much improved, both visually and functionally. There are few features that we would like to see added, such an employee referral program and more reports, but these are not critical for our work at the moment. Workable has already solved the biggest problem we had: to establish an easy to use internal platform for all our hiring information and collaboration. The tool's simplicity helps a lot, so the lack of a few marginal features here and there is overshadowed by the ease of use on what matters most.

Pros: Stress-free internal adoption. Quick to learn and use productively. Great collaboration features

Cons: Would like to see some additional reports

Pros: Great customer service. Product is very affordable when posting just a few positions. Also has a lot of great features. Mobile website works great for our managers to access from their smartphones while on the job.

Cons: The application customization could be a little more feature rich. I was not able to build our complete company application in the program. This makes the recruiter have to reach back out the the candidates and have them fill out an " official " and more detailed application before being interviewed.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are a smaller company ( we are about 8o employees ) needing a more organized process for hiring, I would recommend this tool. If you are our size or larger, there might be more extensive programs available. We are in the process of switching to Applicant Pro. But overall, Workable has been a great solution in the mean time.

Comments: Workable is a great tool, and a must have for any company looking to streamline their candidate tracking process and eliminate application emails from their inbox. The Workable plug-in for Chrome makes sourcing candidates quick and simple. Ability to allow external recruiters to source candidates for positions helps keep all candidates in one place for quick reference. Mass-messaging function saves time when communicating with candidates. All in all, Workable is an amazing way to get your company organized and on top of your recruitment process. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: Workable has changed the way our company internally structured our recruitment process, and we are so happy we started using it. Workable is user-friendly, easy to implement, and best of all, keeps us organized.

Cons: A couple of improvements would bump my rating up to five stars...the biggest one would be the ability to filter jobs on the dashboard by company location. We have several studios, and we all use one account, so the dashboard is very cluttered.

Comments: Workable is a really cool and affordable tool insofar it instantly lets you review and track the progress of the candidates who applied for a job (or were sourced) with your company. It is extremely simple to use and integrates wherever you want it, so you can always have all the applications in one place, with seamless planning and execution of further steps.

Pros: Integrates with all the apps you need; very simple to use; clean and lean interface, all your job ads in one place; easily track the progress of your applicants and distinguish between applications.

Cons: You do need to enter information manually, meaning you have to be the one to move a candidate from one stage to another. This can be a bit inconvenient. Also, it would be desirable for Workable to have more and more comprehensive features.

Indeed, the software met our expectations and the prices are really flexible and rather rational!

Pros: The features that was of a real benefit to us were mostly the search per tag or headline, the customized recruitment pipeline and the quick way to send bulk emails alongside with the synchronization with the work email account.

Cons: One feature that we really miss is that on the email templates we cannot include attachments. Hope in the future, this feature will be offered as well.

Cons: *Almost none *The system allows you to answer basic questions when the applicant submits an application. However, it would be nice later down the process if there was a way to have standard templated interview questions that our hiring manager could use to ask and record answers.

Pros: Workable is great for the recruiting and onboarding process helping you keep track of all applicants and move them into bucketed status for follow ups and segmentation of your applicants.

Cons: The email integration is funky and doesn't always work well so that's a disappointment. The interface and UI could be a bit more modern.

Comments: I started with my current company at the beginning of 2016 as a Corporate Recruiter. We never had recruiters before, so there was not ATS. We did a trial with Workable and really like how great it looked and its ease of use. We were able to use it immediately and the support provided was great. It can be customized to the size of openings the company has and the job postings look great. I would recommend this to anyone looking so a simple and easy to use ATS.

Pros: Workable puts our postings on multiple website with one click. It is easy to move candidates to different stages in the hiring process. Interviews can be coordinated and communicated easily in Workable.

Cons: Just wish there was a better way to categorize candidate and candidate look up.

Comments: I have and would still recommend this product.

Pros: Workable is a great tool for companies just starting to open roles to recruit with. It's a customizable solution, with an ease of use, and an engaging UI that both beginners and experts can appreciate. The price point is also very reasonable.

Cons: The product is pretty basic. Newer ATS systems are popping up with ways to enhance sourcing where as Workable didn't have all the bells and whistles that other ATS systems are incorporating.

Pros: The best thing about the product is it is very user-friendly and is easy to navigate and understand. It only took 30 minutes to set up, and our training time for new users is about 15 minutes. There are tutorials on every functionality and subject to help you be successful in hiring. Workable offers an easy way to track candidates through your pipeline, communicate internally with your team and externally with candidates, set up interviews, advertise your positions and report on your activity.

Cons: What I like the least is it does not have the ability to create assessments for candidates. It also doesn't create a new URL when you repost a position, so your job post goes to the back of the search results in the job boards.

Recommendations to other buyers: It's ideal for small to medium-size businesses, but would not be ideal for a larger company with a high volume of open positions.

Pros: I like that it aggregates the job posting to different sites with the click of one button. It allows you to create your own template responses. It is easy and keeps you logged in. We absolutely recommend it.

Cons: I wish they had entire HRIS with onboarding system. We don't use all the functionality of it because we pay for a system that does all our HR/Benefits/Payroll, etc. and I haven't seen that capability in Workable.

Recommendations to other buyers: I recommend doing it! It is a win win. It is always nice to get perspective from people using the software.

Comments: Work on your customer service, you will make more $$$ in the long run if you retain clients.

Pros: - Easy to set up and use, but lacks features for its price range - Workable started out well, but there are many hidden hiccups and charges. Not worth the effort for something this expensive.

Cons: - Lack of Customer Support, they will force you to pay extra to use something you have already paid for - Lack flexibility, you are forced to pay upfront. If you choose to 'pay as you go plan,' you will miss out on many functionalities and will have to pay more - Predatory business model, they are here to make $$$, not to retain their users

Pros: It is adaptable to just about any internal mail you use. It is simple to use for even a novice. It has good evaluation tools and the ability for hiring managers to write their reviews and ratings of candidates.

Cons: Not as functional as I would like. Wish it could do more in the area of syncing with my current email systems and calendars for setting up interviews. Not crazy about it for a large organization but for a small one it will work fine.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you can use this in conjunction with whatever email system you use whether it is Google or Microsoft and that it can use your calendar to sync schedules etc. Is it adaptable to your email calendar? Can you use it across the company email system.

There are few features that we would like to see added, such as an employee referral program and more reports, but these are not critical for our work at the moment. Workable has already solved the biggest problem we had: to establish an easy to use internal platform for all our hiring information and collaboration. The tool's simplicity helps a lot, so the lack of a few marginal features here and there is overshadowed by the ease of use on what matters most.

Comments: I have a free Workable account which I use for US recruitment. It's a pretty standard ATS with various social integrations. It does the job for the amount of recruiting I do.

Pros: Easy communication between hiring managers Pulls candidates' social profiles Integrates with company website Allows for a customized workflow

Cons: Lot's of emails- can get lost Customer support is typically live chat, not phone Updated version doesn't have an easy way to share the job- still, don't know where the job link can be found within the platform.

Recommendations to other buyers: Not a ton of bells & whistles, but does the job! It's easy to use and grabs useful candidate information. The workflow is easy.

Pros: It's really well organized and very easy to use. I like how it offers the filters for searching candidates and also how it divides our open positions up within our organization.

Cons: I haven't come across anything that I disliked about workable. It's very user friendly.

Recommendations to other buyers: Our management team just started using workable the past few weeks. I've found it's better suited to stay organized with the high volume of candidates we interview on a daily bases. I like that I can pull up and print the candidates resume directly from the website rather than having to wait on the candidates resume from HR. I also like how I can view other candidates in other Departments whom interviewed for other positions to see if they would be better suited for my division. It allows any manager to be able to log in and print a copy of the candidates resume. I can also upload other documents such as the results of the interview questions I've asked the candidate and how they answered the questions. This website has eliminated our filing cabinets and allowed us to go paperless. I'm happy to have a program such as workable to really streamline our interview process and stay organized.

Pros: In addition to having all my applicants in one place, the best feature of Workable is the ability to collaborate with hiring managers. No longer do they have to wait for HR to send them the applications, they can elect to see new applicants the moment they apply. HR and hiring managers can communicate with each other and directly with the applicants and Workable keeps a record of everything!

Cons: Although not the fault of Workable, a popular website for posting jobs, Craigslist, does not allow employers to post the Workable job link on job postings. Applicants can be directed to the employers' website, which Craigslist does permit.

Recommendations to other buyers: Demo 3 - 5 software programs and keep a list of the features you like best and least. Most importantly consider what you most need. For me, I needed the ability for an online application portal that could be customized, the ability for hiring managers to have access, and the ability to easily communicate with applicants. Workable provided all this (and much more!) with a very affordable and flexible pricing structure.

Pros: Workable is really easy and intuitive to use for hiring managers, recruiters and candidates. I don't need to train my team in how to use it. Everything is clear, the system is always reliable and questions are answered promptly. My hiring managers in other locations find it very easy to use, all correspondence is kept in one place and the hiring process is clean and clear in this format. It is also exceptionally good value for money.

Cons: I would like an app version for mobile and tablet. I would also like to be able to store speculative candidates.

Recommendations to other buyers: Definitely try Workable for an easy to use system.

Comments: We are a startup and have been using Workable in the past months, with great results. What I like the most about i,t is its ability to organize and present all information in one place, be it the job positions, the candidates, your publishing options, etc. Just the fact alone that I no longer have to go through countless CVs, compare them in memory or paper and decide which candidate gets to the next step, based on his/her qualifications, makes Workable an irreplaceable part of our hiring process. Additional perks, such as automatic filtering of candidates based on certain keywords, automatic publishing to several job boards, or collaborative recruiting, turns the once tedious work of finding the right person for your team into I - daresay - a fun experience. I've rated it 4/5 on functionality, since I expect great new features to be constantly added. I truly recommend Workable to everyone recruiting people for their business, even just for the time it's going to save you!

Comments: Our organization is a little under 200 staff with approximately 30 hiring supervisors. Using an applicant tracking system has allowed us to streamline our hiring process and cut down on paper. By utilizing a web-based system, our supervisors have the ability to stay on top of their applicants whether in the office, at home, or on their phone. The system is fairly intuitive and our supervisors have been able to easily maneuver their way through the candidates.

Pros: Customer service is awesome. Whether we call or email, we get prompt replies including screen shots for a visual aid. We really like how it allows us to customize the application, especially the questions.

Cons: There is no ability to "rate" applicants which is something we've had in a prior applicant tracking system. Other than that, we've been very pleased with the system and its functionality.

Pros: Most of us are small companies with few employees and thus will normally have one job open at a time with one poster (owner). While Workable has features to take us beyond this, it's the perfect fit for most of us who fall into that category. It's robust to help us weed through candidates, yet it's not overpowered with features we don't need. It's also inexpensive. We can turn it on when we need and turn it off without cost when we don't. If we need it again, we can turn it on, and all our information is there. Perfect fit.

Cons: I truly haven't found anything yet, and I've reviewed many of the systems.

Recommendations to other buyers: Especially if you're a small firm, check this platform out first. It's very intuitive, and I'll bet it does everything our kinds of companies need to do.

Great collaboration

Comments: Workable met our needs, as a fast growing company with a few open reqs at a time that needed to be filled fast. Getting a req up was fairly straightforward, and keeping to the format of your job requisitions is as simple of copying and modifying your last one. While much of our talent pipeline comes from referrals, the multiposting feature to also post to LinkedIn and other jobs sites was helpful. As we moved through our pipeline, moving them to the next stage came with a pre-set status and templated emails...both can be tweaked. Once filled, you can close the req without losing that historical record, either for anecdotes or to reuse again.

Pros: - Affordable to start out - Ability to postpone your account - Ease of use along the hiring process

Cons: - Deviating from a linear hiring path can be confusing to track - Sorting candidates in the rejection pool that have or haven't been emailed

Pros: They are there to help you and they listen to what you need. They are a growing company. They are wonderful about getting back to us about any questions we have. And they are open to listening to what we think could make the product work better for us. They are open to new ideas and the response time is great.

Cons: As with any start up, they are not going to be able to tailor their product to each individual customer. There are things we need that other companies probably do not. They are building their product and making it better, which takes time.

Recommendations to other buyers: Workable's customer service is top-notch. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but it is easy to use and for any member of your company to pick up fast! We have had to do very little training when it comes to this software.

Comments: As a recruiter you use your ATS all day long, it is sat open on your desktop all the time and lets be honest most of the time it is the weakest link in a complex suite of tools a recruiter has to use every day. Workable isnt like that, I have used it everyday for the last year and I love it. Every time I open up my dashboard It makes me happy. It's UI is simple and easy to use. It is easy to load candidates, manage multiple jobs, multiple companies, external agencies, job boards etc.. Training hiring managers to use the system is amazing and everytime a new one gets used to it, they start telling their friends how cool it is! Of course it's not perfect but their excellent customer service and the way the listen to users feedback and are constantly improving the product is superb. Without a doubt I would recommend it to anybody who wants to make their life easier when recruiting.. gone are the days of clunky databases. GET WORKABLE!

Pros: Simple and clean UI. Program is very intuitive. Help desk gets 9 of 10 (for some reason, 1 question I asked went unanswered for 48 hours), they typically respond in under an hour. Flexible pricing is great. If you have a few reqs open, you will likely end up on the high end at 10+ pricing.

Cons: Impossible to call for customer support. Need to rely on the e-chat line.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a great starter ATS, and the one to go to for flexibility. No annual contracts (unless you want them). Your hiring managers will be able to adopt quickly. I am usually remote, and Workable helps the company keep all candidates organized.

Pros: The main reason I chose Workable for our company's Applicant Tracking software is due to its user friendly capability. There was minimal training involved and all of the Hiring Managers equally shared my compassion for the service. Everyone has agreed that it has allowed us to effectively track candidates and comment on the interviewing process. We have effectively hired many new candidates since using the system.

Cons: My least favorite aspect about this tool is the time lag between viewing candidate profiles.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would highly recommend this software to other users who are looking for a quick and simple approach to an applicant tracking tool. It does not take long to learn and has been highly effective with everyone on the hiring team. I have even been able to generate reports from the different job posting sites to determine which sites have been most effective in submitting candidates to our company. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a user friendly environment.

Pros: Everything I need for recruiting is right there. It's a one-stop-shop for reviewing candidates, communicating with other team members, and tracking the pipeline movement for each open position. I also like how quickly their support team responds when I email them with questions or concerns regarding the product.

Cons: It goes down a fair amount - there are a few bugs and kinks that they have to work out.

Recommendations to other buyers: I think Workable is a wonderful resource, but it may not be for everyone. When debating whether to use Workable or not, think about how many positions you need to fill, how often you may be using it, and how many people are making the decision. If it's a small company and you don't have many recruiting needs, this may be overkill. But for a company with frequent turnovers, this is a perfect resource.

Comments: Nice, simple and fresh to use. Nothing particularly fancy about its functionality, it will just save you time putting things on an excel sheet. After two price hikes, the price is now unaffordable.

Pros: Simplicity.

Cons: Very expensive. When it started was very cheap it was a great deal. Then it became very expensive For the functionality, it offers this price is beyond ridiculous. Comments: We initially signed up for the Workable free trial, but were so impressed we took on a package a few days in. There were features that sprung up immediately as game-changers for us : the ease with which it hoovers everything about a candidate into the platform, the team commentary and the ability to keep a candidate in mind for something more suitable later. In terms of the UI, very elegant, well-designed, everything is in the right place -- possibly a bit too muted in palette for my personal extravagant taste, but a joy to use overall. And for the real litmus test, customer service, hand on heart, BEST we've ever seen. We had trouble with entering something unusual (intra-EU VAT exemption) in an invoice and wrote to customer service for help, and within an hour we had a very polite and constructive live-support chat, and within two we had programmers working to hard code something for us. Highly recommended .

Pros: Super user-friendly software with little to no learning curve. I love that you can schedule to your Outlook calendar straight from the website. Pre-screen filters are quick to implement and highly effective. Comments: I use Workable for the two 'startup' initiatives for Backbase in Atlanta/NYC and London. Because my approach is 90% sourcing I needed a lean program that empowered me to hunt from Linkedin, Github, Twitter, Angelist and so on. Workable does this very well. Next to that the CRM behind it works pretty good and intuitive.

Pros: - Chrome sourcing extension - Easy to use - Good support - Google Apps integration - Free jobsite posting + linkedin integration - Very good price <-> quality ratio - looks good - frequent product updates

Cons: -no referral possibilities -you need to create an account for every person vs everybody on the google apps domain = user -sometimes buggy -no snooze button or reminder buttons to snooze passive candidates -only 10 (uniformal) stages in workflow

This has taken our recruiting to the next level.

Pros: This product has allowed us to collaborate more effortlessly and has increased our recruiting efforts' effectiveness. My favorite aspects of this product are its user friendly interface, the fact that we have been able to go paperless, and how it allows the team to collaborate from anywhere, including the office and at home.

Cons: We'd like to see the option to have different pipelines for different jobs, for example while we added a skills testing phase for one job, we don't do skills testing for our other job. While we phone screen one position, we do not phone screen the other. I really like the email templates, but it would be great to have even more types of placeholder options. We would also like to see the option to pay an invoice via corporate check, like we do with all of our other vendors.

Recommendations to other buyers: Our whole team has been so happy with how Workable has performed - my only recommendation is to try Workable!

Pros: I like that you can add as many users as need and that they can provide feedback easily via the ATS. It is relatively easy to use. I love the way the careers page looks and that it also can post roles on social media (Facebook).

Cons: Once you close out a role you can't update that candidate which can make it difficult for pipelining candidates. They also don't have a tool that pulls resumes easily from the major job boards.

Recommendations to other buyers: Only for Corporate would not consider for agency. There is not an ability to add clients but you can add multiple companies (added cost).

Comments: Workable is great. It provides a clear and simple space to interview, accept, and hire candidates. I have been using it for the first time for my job as a Program Director for Learning Enterprises, and so far I have not run in to any major difficulties. It's great to have all my applicants' information on one concise site.

Pros: -intuitive design -easy to organize information -kindness of people who run it -"comments" feature- allows my colleagues and me to keep track of our thoughts on the potential applicants all on one site

Cons: -I accidentally moved a candidate from the "offer" to "hired" bucket before she was hired, and I do not know how to move her back. I just e-mailed workable to ask how to reverse it because as of now there is no clear way to move her back.

Comments: We just started using Workable on a suggestion of a good friend who runs an HR software company and has "seen it all." The reason I asked his advice is we were starting the hiring process for a number of new positions and was hoping to find a better way of managing the incoming applications. Last time we did a key hire, we got more than 100 applicants in two weeks. With our old process, it was overwhelming and unmanageable. So, we decided to try Workable.

In just one week of use, I can say already that Workable is the right solution for us. We¿ve already received dozens of quality applicants. More importantly (and the reason we are trying it), we¿re finding the process of managing the applications much easier and much more effective. Compared to the old way (manually keeping track in Excel and file folders), it¿s night and day.

We're a very happy new Workable customer.

Comments: We have tried Workable during the free trial and then for an other free trial that the customer service offered to us in order to complete our trial. Their customer service is effective and fast to answer. The overall app is quite interesting, user friendly, offering good features. However, I have found other apps with the same quality (in my point of view) and with a much more descent pricing. Especially for a small and growing company like mine. To bet on the success of one's client could have been more fair. Too bad

Pros: Very user friendly. You can feel that they developed their solution knowing their business. The features are great and answer majority of the issue a company like mine could encounter.

Cons: It would be perfect if a very light customer management was possible.

Pros: Workable allows the possibility of having a custom selection process (including having visibility of your selection process flow) with easy collaboration from more people. You can set up different inputs from different people in the whole process, and also receive application and track them in the same platform.

Cons: If you want a deeper level of personalisation you'll need to resort to their API (for instance, to fully customize the website to receive application).

Overall: Collaborative hiring tool that can really help receive, track and enhance the process speed with candidates applications. Workable can adapt to different selection process and receive multiple inputs from each part.

Comments: I have only been using Workable for about 3 months, but am impressed with its' features. I've taught some of our supervisors how to utilize it and they all find it be very user friendly. I really like the ability to be able to clone jobs and copy or move resumes to other positions.

Pros: Ability to clone positions, move or copy resumes to other positions. Ability to customize application questions. Ability to customize hiring teams for each position. Like being able to write notes for each candidate only seen by hiring team.

Cons: Search candidate by all jobs only, not by individual position. Would like to customize print, so all e-mails are excluded. Would like to be able to rearrange order of questions more easily.

Comments: We're a growing start-up who started hiring at full speed roughly a year ago. Before committing to an ATS system, we did quite a bit of research but ultimately landed on Workable because of its many features, intuitive user system, and organization. We've been extremely satisfied -- the software organizes candidates in an easy-to-access way, which is fantastic when hiring across a variety of roles. Additionally, the Workable team is very accessible -- the few times we've had questions, they've responded promptly and completely. It's been exciting to see new features added over the course of the year (e.g. gmail integration). Looking forward to continuing to use Workable!

Pros: Intuitive organization of candidates, easy to use, good way to organize hiring managers internally, good customer support

Comments: As a new and growing startup, we were looking for a tool to handle recruitment & selection for us, without spending too much time implementing it and learning how to use it. Workable fits the bill nicely, containing all the features we need and having a very fresh look and feel. We were not experts in recruitment and didn't have the time, knowledge or resources to create hiring processes from scratch. With Workable it took us a couple of hours to set up an organized recruitment process that is similar to what bigger companies have. Being able to move fast, but also do things in an organized and scalable way is a very valuable thing, especially in a critical task like hiring.

Pros: Organize recruitment and selection process in minutes. Facebook-like candidate timeline. Can also upload resumes. Very easy.

Pros: Workable's product and customer service are both excellent. Their software allows our organization to communicate between various divisions in the company and coordinate hiring with personnel in multiple states. This tool has saved us thousands of dollars in hiring costs and eliminated all our old headaches.

Cons: The resume section sometimes has problems printing certain resumes, and you have to find creative ways around it like selecting all the text and then using Control + P instead of using the download function.

Recommendations to other buyers: Compare the simplicity of this software and its ease of use to other options. There is not another more cost-effective alternative for those on a tight budget.

New to workable, but it ticks all the boxes.

Comments: Choosing an ATS system is tough, there are many options out there and many shapes and sizes at varying costs. After trialling a lot of different systems, Workable came out on top by a good distance for our SME. We currently have 35 employees and I can see workable helping us well into the 100s of employees as we grow.

There are some great features, the UI is very intuitive and it was very easy for me and the team to learn. Most importantly, it isn't overloaded with too many features when all I need is a good understanding of my pipeline. There are some some feature updates I'm hoping for but the team seem very receptive to improving the product, something the dinosaur ATS systems don't seem as enthusiastic about.

All in all, I'm very pleased and hope that we continue to have the same success with Workable.

Pros: - Great platform that has a robust feature set & integration options (i.e. LinkdIn) so that you can attract the right talent for your growing small business // startup

Cons: - You still have to go through the hiring process of creating the right listing, description, vetting candidates, etc., So while this is a great tool, you must still understand who you are looking for, why you are looking for them etc., in order to attract the right talent.

Pros: I like the ease of using Workable. I love the fact that I can collect all the data in one place (it reduced usage of a lot of mails). It's also nice to be able to post job announcements directly to our website (no programmers needed any more).

Cons: I don't like the fact that I cannot change the template of announcements. Sometimes I need to wait too long for appointments to reach my Google calendar from Workable (10-15 minutes).

Recommendations to other buyers: It would be nice to add an option to change the template. Maybe email addresses for applying a job could be shorter and nicer (like for example python-10clouds@workable.10clouds.com) - it would be nice to have a possibility to edit them.

Overly Impressed

Comments: Workable is like a one stop shop for hiring needs. I was first bewildered when trying to hire a Comptroller for our company, I then stumbled upon Workable where I could create ONE platform and it then did all the work for my by sending out our job description to several hiring platforms (Linkedin, Monster, Indeed) and some I had not even heard of. It didn't stop there, when applicants sent me their resumes I had the option to set up phone interviews, person to person interviews and even reject resumes that did not fit the description. As the Hiring Manager at my company, I will definitely be suggesting Workable to our sister companies for their hiring needs. Workable is like a non-pushy recruiter, it finds you the quality of employee you need without the bank breaking price.
