Pros

We recently implemented Workable as our ATS at snuggs and are happy with the experience so far. What really stands out is the excellent support from their customer success team - always responsive and helpful. I used Workable a few years ago at a previous company, and I was positively surprised by how much the platform has evolved since then. A wide range of new features were added - that truly enhance the recruitment process: more automation options, detailed reportings, and video interviews. Overall, a great solution for fast-scaling teams. Highly recommend!

Cons

There’s not much to dislike. One issue we had was that some system settings seemed to change without us realizing, which led to situations where candidates who withdrawn from the process still received automated rejection emails. However, once we flagged it, the customer support team was quick to help us resolve it. Aside from that, everything has been working really well.

BambooHR wasn’t meeting our needs when it came to recruiting. It’s a decent tool for HR and employee management, but the recruitment features were very limited and not built for a fast-moving hiring process. Workable, on the other hand, is designed specifically for recruiting - it offers more automation, better collaboration features, and in-depth reporting. It’s an improvement and has made our recruitment process more efficient.

### "Workable Has been a game changer "

Overall my experience has been a 10 out of 10 from the set up to using and sharing with others. It has saved me time especially with generating reports. The automatons have also saved me time as well. It has really leveled up my recruitment game.

Pros

It is so user friendly from sent up to using to sharing candidates with other team members and only sharing the jobs relevant to them. How easy it is to generate reports, the automatons, saving and snoozing candidates, how easy it is to manually upload a candidate and the system pulls everything from the resume to create the profile. The interviews run smoothly and if using assessments it add the assessment questions to your scorecard so helpful! The Ai profile overview, being able to ask the system questions and it will point you to multiple resources, our account manager has been super helpful and the set up process was very smooth. Cost is also very affordable compared to other competitors.

Cons

One thing that I wish I could do was schedule rejections letters if I cancel the automated one. Sometimes that automated message take to long to send due to why its set up and weekends so I wish I could still send the rejection earlier then the system will but not at the second I generate it. Not sure if that makes sense.. The other thing that was odd was I could not add applicants in the system to the talent pool only new people so I created my own talent pool so I could track applicants I wanted to reach back out to.

Cons

While Workable is generally efficient and intuitive, I find its reporting and analytics capabilities somewhat limited for more complex, strategic analysis. For example, filtering data by recruiter, time frame, or specific stages in the pipeline isn’t always straightforward, and some key metrics require manual extraction. Additionally, it would be helpful to have more flexibility in customizing candidate feedback forms and tracking interview cancellations or no-shows separately from rejections.

Been with Workable for 2 years and find better quality candidates than I have with ZipRecruiter. Overall it is one of the best platforms I have used.

Pros

Functional and User-friendly. The database is set for multiple job orders. Easy job posting capabilities. The dashboard is clean, and it's easy to track candidates at every stage. Better quality candidate pool than most larger highly advertised recruitment platforms. The yearly subscription price is a steal.

Cons

I have had no issues or problems with Workable since I started with them two years ago. Customer support is great as well. Always on top.

I also looked into Resume Library. Both Breezy and Resume Library had low cost but I went on a trial basis and Resume Library had almost zero candidate for 10 job openings. I think I got one during the trial period and Breezy did not produce enough candidates to make it worth while.

Workable has been a lifesaver for our org! We are a human services nonprofit with hard to fill roles and a very small recruitment team. Workable has allowed our structure to be successful and sustainable by allowing hiring managers to be easily trained and have tools for communication with candidates at their fingertips. It also allows us to see what they are / aren't doing and help guide them along!

Pros

Very easy to learn, the system feels intuitive to use even for our hiring managers who have not used an ATS. It provides a lot of transparency and collaboration.

Cons

Something small, yet annoying, that I dislike about workable of visibility on open and closed dates of archived jobs.

Using Workable have been a greta journey for our Company and our HR department. The implementation was a piece of cake, the help we received from our account manager was priceless and also have saved us a lot of time with all the incredible feature it provides!

Cons

There were some issues with the integration of Linkedin (job posting) but all of them are resolved now.

It's a good ATS, it provides the service we need. The customer support, AI and reporting needs to be improved however

It is extremely user-friendly - both for the TA team and for hiring manager collaboration. I like how it integrates into other tools, such as Slack and BambooHR.

Cons

The customer support. The post-integration support is essentially non-existant, and I've had to escalate multiple times via the main ticketing system as my account manager would disappear on me. The AI function needs tweaking

Pros

Easy to use, UI pretty clear, made it much easier for us to organize our processes for multiple countries. When we had a problem the customer support was quick to get back to us.

Cons

We are overall pretty happy, and they often publish new updates. I would like some more options to filter jobs but that's just small details.

Very positive. A fantastic system for the price, and one which has already reduced our TTF by over 9 days.

Pros

Customization options make the system very user-friendly, albeit quite time-consuming to set up. The hiring manager and recruiter experience is excellent. The team at Workable are extremely responsive to queries, meaning any issues are rectified quickly.

Cons

The reporting is a little clunky but i am well aware this is on their roadmap to be fixed and rolled out on the next few months,

I particularly appreciate the automatic email feature, which saves time and ensures consistent communication. Another valuable aspect is the ability to see the complete history of candidate movements, allowing for quick tracking and improved collaboration within the hiring team.

Cons

One drawback is how jobs are automatically archived when not in use, which can make them less accessible when you want to quickly reference past postings. Additionally, the lack of integration that would allow Workable to directly feed data into our ATS system is a limitation, as it requires extra steps for data transfer and record-keeping.

Overall, we are very happy with Workable. We have been using it for 3 years now and aren't thinking about leaving anytime soon. It's exciting to see the improvements of the product year by year and how quickly it adapts to our daily needs. We highly recommend it!

Pros

1\. I love how easy it is to navigate for everyone. Our Workable onboardings take little time as everyone gets the hang of it quite quickly. 2. The resources, such as content and webinars, are valuable. 3. Customer service is second to none. 4. AI Integration. 5. All the info in one place makes team collaboration a piece of cake. 6. Automated features are the best, they save us a lot of time. 7. Both candidate interview and applicant tracking features are getting better by the day, easy and comfy for everyone in the process.

Cons

I still miss a good translation to Spanish and a more customizable job offer setup, as well as an integration to our HR platform. Also, the reports section could be more user friendly with more customizable data.

Ready-to-use job descriptions simplify the creation of new roles, while the AI-powered CV screening tool speeds up shortlisting by showing a match percentage between the job requirements and each candidate’s CV.

Pros

Workable is an intuitive and user-friendly recruitment software that simplifies the entire hiring process, from posting a job to making the final hire. Creating a job announcement is quick and easy, and the platform automatically reposts it across multiple free job boards—such as NewJobs, LinkedIn, Google for Jobs, Talent.com, Indeed, Careerjet, and Jooble—as well as premium boards. All candidate applications are collected under the relevant job posting, with clear tracking of which job board they came from. The clean, easy-to-navigate interface makes it accessible even for occasional users. Each job can be linked to a Hiring Manager and selected team members, enabling seamless collaboration. Communication with candidates is straightforward, whether through bulk emails or individual messages, and scheduling interviews is equally simple. The platform keeps everything well organized, saving valuable time. The implementation of AI tool is very useful for CVs screening. Finally, Workable stands out for its excellent customer support, which responds quickly and efficiently.

Cons

It does not support Greek language when exporting a csv report. The AI tool for CVs screening is not always accurate, a second look is always needed.

Pros

Workable is an excellent ATS that stands out for its ease of use and user-friendly interface. I love how simple it is to track both jobs and candidates in one place, it really streamlines the hiring process. Rating candidates and leaving notes is straightforward, which helps keep all feedback organized. The internal communication feature with hiring managers makes collaboration smooth and efficient. Plus, the interview scheduling tool integrates seamlessly with Outlook, making calendar management hassle-free. Overall, Workable makes recruitment easy and well integrated with the tools we already use. Highly recommended!

Cons

One limitation with Workable is the lack of customization when it comes to certain settings. For example, I can't pre-set the self-scheduling link duration for a specific job stage. I'd like all phone screening interviews to automatically be 45 minutes, but Workable defaults to 30 minutes unless I manually adjust it for each candidate. This adds unnecessary steps and can be time consuming when managing multiple interviews.

Overall it's a great ATS, although they seem to be moving more towards becoming a HR platform. They have an AI assistant and if that doesn't help, they send an email on your behalf to CS - usually takes a day or two for them to come back to you. No proactive account management or asking for user feedback.

Pros

Logical UI, easy to use. Great for internal recruitment processes with customisable workflows. I use it daily to manage several roles and all the candidate applications. The AI feature that scores candidate applications is becoming better and better and more accurate. The self-scheduling link for candidates saves a lot of time. We like the rating scores. AI search is improving.

Cons

I don't like that the social media links are at the bottom of the profile page; if you have a cover letter and additional fields, you have to scroll several times to get to it, then scroll back up. The automated ingestion of the resume isn't very accurate so again, lots of scrolling past it on the profile page, then scrolling back up. You have duplicate applicants for different roles, which is tricky they do attach them together in the corner so you have to remember to check. If you're searching passive candidates, you cannot add notes unless you add them to a live job, which makes no sense at all. The candidate search function needs some work. Can be buggy when adding scorecard templates. The UI for workflow changes can be confusing.

As the Head of the HR function for Bioiatriki Healthcare Group, I have to highlight that transitioning to Workable has significantly streamlined our recruitment process. It’s difficult to think of several areas for improvement as Workable has successfully answered to our needs and wants in relation to the recruitment process. Overall, it's been a very helpful ATS for our team. Of course, there's always room for improvement nevertheless, we've been able to grow our team with the help of Workable.

Pros

I really like its ease of use for our organization's recruitment team as well as for the whole company as well. Its features are very straightforward and the automations are quite a big help to a growing team. We decided to use Workable for its integrations with our existing tools.

Cons

As we are a fast growing company, there's a lot of information stored in the system which might contribute to it slowing down. Resumes and profiles take some time to load which contributes to screening taking longer than it should be. I would have also preferred that there were more screening question options and easier filtering during screening as well.

Easy to understand and use the interface and good functionality overall. Definitely good value for money and provides ample customer support.

Pros

Easy to understand and use the interface and good functionality. The ability to make any actions visible and collaborate with the team is great. It is quite easy to integrate outlook and schedule phone screens and candidate interviews. I like that as Super Admins it is easy to control the user access & permissions to this platform thereby enhancing security. Definitely good value for money and provides ample customer support.

Cons

if there is a feature to use AI for editing onboarding documents or forms would be good. It would be easier if AI identifies all possible editable sections which could be later manually changed by users (Recruiter) if required.

I've worked in recruitment for several years and have used multiple applicant tracking systems. Workable stands out as the most effective by far. Its interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate even for new users. The system is fast, reliable, and supports a smooth hiring workflow from start to finish.

Cons

To be totally honest, nothing about Workable feels groundbreaking—but it does everything it’s supposed to, and it does it well. Maybe the IA integration to filter CVs could be more precise.

I believe this is a minor issue: For example, when I send out the email inviting candidates to self schedule a phone screen on Monday, I usually select the first available slot starting from the next day: Tuesday, to have time for preparation. However, if the candidate responds to the email on a later date, for example on Tuesday morning, they are still able to book a slot on the same day, for example at 10:30 AM, even if they replied at 10:00 AM. This sometimes results in very short notice time for me to prepare for the call. Ideally, the platform would recalculate the first available day based on when the candidate opens or responds to the email, so if they reply on Tuesday, the earliest they could schedule would be Wednesday.

Pros

user-friendly and well-structured. The candidate pipeline view is intuitive, and the collaboration features, like internal comments and evaluation forms are really streamline our hiring process. The integration with outlook, teams and scheduling tools is great.

Cons

It would be great to have more customizable regarding report and/or analytics. The candidate search feature could be more precise because sometimes keyword searches bring up irrelevant results or miss good matches.

Overall it was a very good and seamless experience using workable. One of the best tools in my recruiting experience in 6 years

Pros

\- easy to use and intuitive - it is connected to a lot of different recruiting platform - posting of position with 1 click at so many other hiring platforms - guiding candidates through the recruiting process from the very beginning until the end

Cons

\- there was a time, like a year ago, when interface was completely changes, and it took some time to get use to the new design
