Overall it is one of the best platforms I have used. Pros Functional and User-friendly. The database is set for multiple job orders. Easy job posting capabilities. The dashboard is clean, and it's easy to track candidates at every stage. Better quality candidate pool than most larger highly advertised recruitment platforms. The yearly subscription price is a steal. Cons I have had no issues or problems with Workable since I started with them two years ago. Customer support is great as well. Always on top. Both Breezy and Resume Library had low cost but I went on a trial basis and Resume Library had almost zero candidate for 10 job openings. Workable has allowed our structure to be successful and sustainable by allowing hiring managers to be easily trained and have tools for communication with candidates at their fingertips. I switched from Greenhouse to Workable. We also considered a couple of other tools before deciding on Workable, although I don't remember their names. I use Workable for recruitment purposes, including tracking candidates and managing them through different stages. I find the requisitions and hiring plan features beneficial, and the reports are helpful despite some inaccuracies. Guided onboarding also made the setup process smoother. Pros I find Workable indispensable for our recruitment process. It enables efficient candidate tracking, ensuring no one is overlooked and helping manage recruitment stages seamlessly. I appreciate the requisitions and hiring plan features and find the reports helpful most of the time. Additionally, the guided onboarding made the transition much easier and customer service stands out as excellent support. It's really good. I've been renewing it for the last three years. Would definitely recommend for startups. Pros Workable is a really complete ATS that you can easily customize. Its automation and its integrations work great. Apart from Google Calendar, it really is a huge time saver for managing a lot of interviews that are at the startups. I think it's really customizable which is appreciated and the pricing is reasonable for startups. Cons Most of the integrations are really good, apart from the Google calendar. Generating calendar links for multiple people is possible, but really, really hard to do and not very stable. That's the only pretty negative thing I have to say. All the rest was really good. What really stands out is the excellent support from their customer success team - always responsive and helpful. I used Workable a few years ago at a previous company, and I was positively surprised by how much the platform has evolved since then. A wide range of new features were added - that truly enhance the recruitment process: more automation options, detailed reportings, and video interviews. Overall, a great solution for fast-scaling teams. Highly recommend! Cons There’s not much to dislike. One issue we had was that some system settings seemed to change without us realizing, which led to situations where candidates who withdrawn from the process still received automated rejection emails. Our previous ATS was not user friendly and we needed a tool that would be easy to use and train hiring managers on. From my first call with the Workable team, I knew this was the tool for us. Workable allows for a seamless collaboration between the recruiters and team leads. So many of the features built in are incredibly useful and allow for a great candidate experience. We are excited to see the new features that Workable brings to the platform as they are always trying to improve the tool. Cons I Think the AI candidate scoring needs some work. Pros I've used Workable at my current company and at my last employer, so over 5+ years now. I've used other ATS platforms previously and I find Workable super simple to use in terms of viewing jobs, candidates, reports and being able to move through the entire hiring process in a seamless and slick way. I love the team collaboration in that hiring managers can raise a new requisition, it goes through to Finance for approval, I can begin hiring and once we've offered the candidate the role I can send their employment contract via Workable and it then integrates with our HRIS and onboarding can begin. I am unsure if many other ATS platforms offer this complete end-to-end process which we find incredibly beneficial for a smooth experience for our candidates. Being able to set up all templates and schedule candidate interviews where the system integrates calendars makes it simple and easy when you are working on multiple roles with hundreds of candidates. Customer Support are very responsive, willing to help, friendly and solve questions quickly. Cons When I first started using Workable there was limited filtering options to sort through circa. 800+ applications, which was painfully time consuming and as someone who likes to ensure a fair candidate experience, I would need to look through every application and get back to every single candidate. Now they've introduced more filtering options like specific skills searches, key words, locations etc, this really saves time on shortlisting.
