Pros: 1. highly flexible & customizable: if they don't have a pre-built integration with a tool you use, you can easily build your own using their built-in webhook, webhook listeners, and "code" blocks. does require a bit of coding experience, but once you or your team build a few things / experiment & figure it out.. it's an absolute game-changer.

2. you'll think "what would i do without this?" ... that's the hallmark of a great software, and Zapier is without a doubt one of the top 3 most important tools for our business. if you want to be data-driven, the first step is getting the right data to the right places. Zapier enables you to do that EASILY.

3. reliable. i've only had about 2 - 3 "outages" in my zaps since i started using the tool, and they were all due to edge-cases that my custom-code steps didn't handle properly. Zapier gives you a nice debugging / testing interface and allows you to search back through every single "zap" that your account has sent over time... and step through them to sort out what the issue might be.

Cons: 1. pulling in "test data" when building zaps - this is one thing that really annoys me... when you're creating a new Zap, and Zapier is "testing the step" that you just set up, it only pulls the most recent "event" that matches what you're doing. Now, this is OK in most cases, but if you have a zap that needs to handle a few different situations "conditionally" ... then it stinks. for example, say you want to build a zap that sends your sales team an email every-time a Stripe charge of over is processed. Well, if the most recent charge in Stripe (or the most recent 3 or 4, etc.) are all lower than, then your test will fail. That's a very contrived example, but ideally, Zapier would allow you to search through past events for the app that you're trying to "zap from", and CHOOSE the appropriate test event.

Minor gripe mainly will only impact those who want to build more complex/complicated zaps.

Overall: For data-driven businesses who use a large number of SaaS products .. or any software with an API really...which is... I would hope all of them... ;) , Zapier is an absolute no-brainer. Never again (when selecting new software to purchase) do we have to worry "Oh, well it doesn't integrate with {{insertOtherSoftwareHere}}, so we can't use it until their dev teams builds it for us". You have full control over what data goes where, how it should be formatted, and all the tools you need to test & optimize that "data transport" over time. Further, the automation possibilities are nearly endless.

Want to kick-off an email whenever someone completes a training-video on your site? (without having to rely on client-side javascript tagging): easy with zapier.

Want to test out a new e-commerce solution, but don't want to deal with having two sources of product-fulfillment? easy, just send the order data to your existing ecom platform with zapier, and centralize all the fulfillment there.

the possibilities are infinite, it just comes down to having at least one person who is savvy with either Javascript (Node.js) or Python if you want to do more "custom" things beyond the built-in apps (which ... is still a lot).

Can't recommend enough.

Pros: There are almost too may pros to mention. Office automation in my number one requirement and Zapier makes it easy and fast. All of my software can now "talk" to each other to handle tedious and time consuming tasks.

Contractors, clients and employees can enter data into front-end forms and everyone gets the right PDF for their needs on the other end. I am still finding new uses as my company grows.

The mail parser offered by Zapier is magical! You choose the information you want pulled from email list and the data is added to your database or any app you have connected. The daily and weekly update emails are scraped for the important parts, all the data is extracted to the apps that are most valuable for the company. As this data is time sensitive, not having to wait for a human to do it keeps us ahead of the curve.

The multi-step addition was right on time. Now I can move data to a number of apps in seconds.

Overall, Zapier has made it easier for my agents to follow the rules. Paperwork is submitted digitally, leads are disseminated automatically saving time between the client calling and getting a return call.

Zapier just saves time and keeps errors to a minimum. If you are control freak like myself, you NEED Zapier.

Cons: Some of the multi step process are not intuitive to create. Support is very helpful but I feel there might need a small interface update that could make it easier to understand.

Overall: Decrease in errors from inside and outside of the company on paperwork

Increased productivity due to faster dissemination of vital information.

Lower cost to operate. Fewer humans needed to handle the office.

Pros: Zapier is exceptionally easy to use. I started by playing around with a few of the hundreds of suggested Zaps, but it didn't take long to get the gist and start building from scratch.

I use Zapier to send automated emails triggered by software that either doesn't offer that option natively or doesn't give me as much customization as I want. The result has been increased communication coming out of my office with far less time commitment to make it happen. With budgets what they are these days, I'm constantly being asked to do more with less. Zapier has made that possible.

Another unexpected plus is that I've discovered other great software through Zapier.

I've got a favorite relational database. I've got a favorite web form. I've got a favorite workflow system when I need input from others. Zapier has allowed me to tie all of those together without having to compromise so I can take advantage of the best features of all of them. Because I don't have to intervene manually, there's no duplicate data entry so errors are minimized as well.

Zapier saves me time every day.

Cons: Multi-step Zaps are great, but conditional Zaps would help me stay more organized. Right now, Zapier doesn't offer that so I end up with three separate Zaps that each have a unique filter, rather than one conditional Zap that can route to different steps based on variable input.

So far, I've always been able to find a work around. It's like having a 2000-piece Lego set, but not having the exact piece you want. You can still build your house, and it will be amazing, but it would have saved you a few steps if you just had that one more piece.

Overall: We use several SAAS solutions in our day-to-day operations. Zapier is the glue that holds it all together. The automation that we've been able to implement through Zapier is what gives the impression of a slick, unified system. It has allowed us to continue improving by using the best features from a wide array of software to build a customized system that works the way we want it to without having to enlist our own team of developers.

I used to run into roadblocks with software and think, "Gee, I wish I could just..." With Zapier, I actually can.

Pros: This software does a great job with so many online software services linked together in a mesh of connectivity. Seemingly unrelated software can be integrated for tasks that I would have regularly done manually. The time and mind savings are obvious, but I am unsure how to actually quantify the savings without spending more time actually tracking the time. The connections/actions between the different software providers are called "Zaps". Each software has certain actions that you would do that can trigger a zap to run. These triggers flow to your other software and can manipulate certain aspects of your data in the beneficiary software.

You can build your own Zaps, or you can use any number of pre-made, tested zaps for common integrations provided by the Zapier team.

They offer a free plan that allows up to 5 zaps with two steps each. Good to get started.

Cons: When you select a software, it will show you a list of triggers and actions that can be used. Then you see a giant scrolling list of of all the different zaps that could be done. When you select a second software, it provides some pre-made zaps, but there isn't a way that I've found to search for specific zap options.

Overall: Standardized tasks can be automated.

Pros: Where do I even start. Using Zapier feels like building lego as a kid, only this time it's for productivity reasons and the more you understand it, the crazier you can get. When I select a new software to integrate into the business, having Zapier is a key requirement due to our reliance on it.

Some of the things I've automated:

- Contractor applications (Google Forms, Trello, Slack)

- Daily task cards (Launch27, Trello, Slack, Google Sheets)

- Text Messaging (Slack, Trello)

- Many more

Its important when trying to automate business processes that its providing value, and you're not doing it "for the sake of it". Automate to the point where there are no outlier possibilities then have manual intervention from there until a more robust automation method can push it further.

Zapier has been amazing, is intuitive and has saved us hours and hours per week.

Cons: Can be a little finicky in set up, however I realize this may be an issue with the 3rd party's API rather than Zapier itself. Once it's set up it usually works fine and alerts you if there are any errors.

Overall, no real complaints and documentation is usually pretty good (with some google searching of course)

Overall: Hours saved on productivity weekly. Allows automation of most simple tasks and if you have a notification system set up in Slack then it allows you constantly keep track of the heartbeat of your business. Simply awesome.

Great tool for automating workflows between systems.

Pros: I love how easy it is to create a Zap. I can move data from one system to another and all of the work is done on the back end. This has allowed our teams to collaborate more efficiently, as well as turn data into a visual process. For example, some form entries are turned into cards on Trello where we can visually track the progress to completion for specific tasks.

Zapier provides lots of pre-built Zaps, and it is fairly straight forward to create Zaps for almost any system a company would use. This tool has saved me and my team a LOT of time.

Cons: Sometimes it can take a while to map out the fields from one system to another. You have to select which column header to use in a Google doc when you are having a Zap dump data into a Google Worksheet. That drop down list can get quite unwieldy, especially because the full length of the column header won't show up in Zapier. Also, if the column headers were alphabetized it would be easier to find the header you are looking for or aligned in the same order as the worksheet I am syncing them over to.

Overall: Time spent sharing data from one system to another. It also makes it easy for us to aggregate data into a central location, making reporting more accessible to individuals who don't have access to all of our systems company wide.

It has also helped us save time when managing tasks that need to be done, so that information stays up-to-date across multiple platforms.

Pros: The simplicity of use! If you were to consider exactly what Zapier is doing for you... creating a system to do just that would take DAYS to create!!! Zapier allows you to create that system in under and hour (depending on the level of complexity you wish to get into).

Cons: I've yet to come across a con really....

Overall: If you haven't found or heard about Zapier, then you need to stop reading this and google it right away. Zapier is a Software As A Service (SAAS) company that connects other SAAS systems together. You create recipes for what should happen when a certain event occurs.

For example; say you've got a mailing list through Mail Chimp and you want to create a way for emails to automatically send when someone adds a new row to a Google Sheet. Zapier is the magic that makes this happen. You create a Zap that watches for new rows in your Google Sheet; when Zapier detects a new row it gathers the data from that row and channels it to Mail Chip... where it populates the email you want and sends it off to the mailing list you've designated.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg!!! Imagine this.

Say someone is adding a new customer to the customer list table through webform (or even through a customized mobile app through AppSheet), the following is completely possible:

1. A new row with the customers information is created in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) table;

2. A new row in the shipping/delivery tracking table is created (of course with the customers relevant information);

3. An email is sent to the Sales Manager alerting him to the new customer;

and so much more is possible.

Zapier has the potential to automate much of what someone would need to spend 30 minutes doing. And setting up the Zap to make all this happen... maybe take you 30 minutes in the first place.... then everything is done for you.

Zapier is one of the best SAAS companies out there. They've taken all the disparate online software available and created a way to allow them all to talk to each other and share data. If you're looking for a way to seriously cut down on administrative tasks/time, Zapier is the way to go.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're on the fence about creating a system using Zapier... DO IT! You'll save yourself SO... MUCH... TIME!!!!!

I like Zapier, and appreciate its value. But when there's an issue, customer service is nonexistent

Pros: I love that Zapier can automate data integration between the several software packages that I use as a small business owner (QBO, Shopify, Zoho, etc.).

Cons: I've had Zaps suddenly stop working (after functioning properly for months) for no discernible reason. Worse, customer service is woefully inadequate. You can't actually speak to anyone and walk through the issue and how to fix it. Instead, you're confined to sending an email -- wait for a reply -- see if the reply is helpful -- if not, send a second email and wait -- get a reply with advice that may or may not solve the problem -- try the suggested fix -- if it doesn't work (which it often doesn't), start the whole process over again. I currently have a Zap that hasn't been working for 4 months, and I have tried everything I can think of to fix it without success. The advice I've received doesn't help, and there is no way to actually work WITH someone to walk through potential solutions until it's resolved. As a result, I am not getting the benefit of having customers in QBO automatically set up in Zoho -- which means I'm not getting the benefit of sending those customers automated email campaigns. Extremely frustrating.

Overall: Zaps help automate data flow from one software package to another, reducing the amount of redundant manual data entry.

Pros: I came across this after using Clickfunnels as it is one of the suggested automation, and my only regret is that I haven't been using this for years. The ability to automate almost anything under the sun is invaluable. Being able to get notifications on a personal slack channel every time someone takes a specific action on one of my landing pages, every time an ad converts, every time my email service gets a new subscriber is amazing. This is how the internet is supposed to work. I can automate to Gmail send me an email every time a form is filled out in Clickfunnels, something I had to check numerous times previously has been a lifesaver. These are jsut a few examples, the possibilities are nearly endless given the amount of apps supported, I guarantee there is something included that will make your life easier.

Cons: No real cons to speak of. The only thing I might suggest is making it more user-friendly when starting out figuring out how to create custom zaps (automation) I remember this seemed a little counterintuitive. However, this is a non issue given how valuable this is. It is a wonder this hasn't been done before.

Overall: Zapier is amazing. I would recommend this to just about anyone as it is so robust. I can have it do just about anything for me. The simplification of tasks that are so monotonous is incredible. It's one of those convenience factors that you don't need yet couldn't imagine living without.

Even with somewhat steep pricing, Zapier provides incredible value and usefulness.

Pros: Connects just about anything to just about anything else. Nearly every piece of software we use that allows some sort of external connectivity is supported in some way by Zapier. We're doing things that would have required hours, days, or weeks of implementation time, and we're doing them within a few minutes thanks to Zapier.

Cons: Many of the integrations are a bit too limited or seem to be built in ways that require more zaps than I would prefer. For example, many integrations with project-based services (For example, GitHub or BugHerd) work on a single project, meaning you need to maintain zaps for all active projects. Some triggers that would be really useful are seemingly missing, requiring workarounds or extra integrations with even more services. Zapier's Email Parser is a great service, but isn't very accurate in my experience, though there are other services which perform the same functionality and integrate with Zapier.

Overall: We're automating much of our infrastructure with Zapier. Without it, we'd need a bunch of custom cloud servers running to connect all of our APIs together.

Pros: The most amazing part about Zapier is that you can (almost) make any technology stack your own. No more is anyone stuck in one bloated and overpriced marketing tool. Nor do we need to plan out an entire business before getting started. If it links with Zapier, you can probably link everything together at some point. Zapier has literally saved hundreds of hours and I am a very modest user with a small handful of Zaps.

Cons: The downside sometimes is the lack of push-pull syncing, i.e. data is triggered and passed in one direction. It'd be great in future to be able to also set up a couple of core apps to sync data between them, for example, keeping a mailing list and CRM in sync with each other. The user interface can also be a pain to try and find out what's possible. It gives you 'recipes' for zaps based on tools you select, but it would be much more intuitive to just be able to select your tools from the dashboard and look at the zap options right from the start, without having to start creating to the Zap to see what can be done.

Pros: It. Connects. Anything. To. Anything. Else.

Wish your new email subscribers could be pushed to your CRM? Zap it. Wish you could get a text when someone buys your product? Zap it. Need pretty much any information from one of your online services to get on over to another one? Zap it.

Zapier acts as the intermediary between nearly everything online. Apps and services figure write an integration for Zapier, and they can (via Zapier) integrate with over 700 apps and services. It's AWESOME.

Cons: Mult-step zaps require an automatic upgrade to a paid account. I get that. I wish maybe there was a volume-based jump into paid, but I can understand their position. The other biggest downside is that some apps and services' integrations are better than others, so the granularity of your data and what you can do with it will vary based on the apps your connecting. This isn't really Zapier's fault (other than maybe requiring more from apps that want to connect to it) but moreso the fault of the app that didn't make their Zapier integration very hardy.

Overall: I can easily move my data around from service to service and make everything play nice together. Me likey. :)

Pros: This is the solution to not paying a developer $150+/hr. An intuitive solution to getting all of our business software to communicate with one another. This software saves us hours every week on redundant data entry and making sure our software all works with each other. Their customer service is EXCELLENT when there are issues (maybe 3 in as many years of using it). They are humans and have a great model.

Cons: amount per year is a lot of money, but relative to the benefits and time it saves, it is worth every single penny. If they 10x their price, I'd probably look elsewhere, but they really could justify the price. My team has learned how to use it too and they make their own zaps.

Overall: Data entry is not a needed position in my company anymore. I know the data will get where it needs to go fast and accurate every time. All of the different software our company uses speaks to each other and we don't have to search in multiple spots to find different information, it all gets zapped to where it needs to be.

Pros: I like how easy it is to get started and to program (Zap) a process you would like to automate. Example as a lead from your CRM comes in then send Google Analytics a goal conversion or put it in a spreadsheet. I like also how you can do some pretty complex transformation and actions on the data being passed from one app to the next one. It's helped our business streamline and cut the time it took to do mundane tasks, we pay for it because it is so helpful.

Cons: Testing can sometimes be difficult depending on what app or action you are trying to set up. The app allows you to test things but sometimes you don't always know what went through or why a zap didn't work.

Overall: It optimizes business tasks and helps us run a more efficient business. We always recommend it to our customers depending on ways they need to take our data and use it. So we've integrated it into our business offering and always recommend it to our customers.

Pros: Zapier is one of my most favorite Software tools. It does so much on my work like you're automating every possible trigger. You won't need to manually input, check and launch a certain software.

Zapier will solve your Problems when it comes to Software integration and automation.

It has a lot of connections, that means, whenever you have a Software to use, and if you want something to automate like you want to have an Email Reminders when you posted a Medium article, Zapier will do it for you.

Automation on every little possibility to boost your Productivity.

Not only Zapier has a lot of Applications to connect but also it has a lot of triggers and actions to automate your Softwares.

It's perfect for Small Businesses, Marketers, Designers, etc. automation has never been so easy before.

You will never need to code or write a code, Zapier does this for you.

Zapier has a FREE Plan, do I need to say more?

Cons: One of the cons I see whenever I use Zapier is the insurmountable amount of possibilities you can use to Automate. It's kind of overwhelming at first because like I said, it has too many triggers, actions, etc. but with the right amount of experience or you used their Free plan to familiarize their Software, you will never be overwhelmed again, in fact, you will enjoy choosing what other actions you can use on Zapier.

Pros: The interface is really intuitive, and the way the Zaps (API calls) interact with each other is flawless - if there is ever a data problem, it always lies with one of the in-out APIs rather than with Zapier. The feature that allows you to modify data in between the input and output stages is super-powerful, using RegEx and Boolean qualifiers.

Cons: The capability of Zapier is limited by the information that the input/output APIs supply, and sometimes those limits mean that a much heralded connection between two APIs is not as great as it sounds, although this is not really Zapier's fault.

A 2 way sync would be good, some of Zapier's competitors do this well

Overall: Automating calls from Marketing Automation software and tying up timelines in Google Analytics is really powerful. Creating Google Sheets of logs from API calls, that can be reviewed/analysed monthly

Pros: - Available Apps to connect

- Popular "Zaps" that are pre-defined templates

- Great customer support and Community behind

- Integrations that actually help and not overcomplicate

I am a huge fan of Zapier. I remember the first time I set up a zap to take an e-mail attachment from a specific email and send it to my dropbox. I thought it was the coolest thing ever! Now I can actually look at my daily work flow and see what I can cut out of my routine and automate with Zapier!

Cons: When I first started the amount of apps and integrations wasn't that many, but that is total opposite now. Don't have many complaints about this software really.

Overall: I solve many problems with this software. I solve me having to put in manual information in spreadsheets. I automate e-mails being sent so I don't forget. So many things I could go on about!

Pros: Zapier is a great tool to hook up two pieces of software and have it communicate with each other. I can quickly deploy a zapier solution that used to require me to write a lot of code. I can tell my non-techie team to use zapier instead of harassing the dev team. It's been a huge time saver.

Cons: Maybe I'm an edge case, but I frequently find two pieces of software that I use that need to communicate in a specific way, and there's no way to do that in Zapier. It's as if they look for the most basic application.

As a developer, I am able to look at the api docs, spend an hour or two connecting the dots and testing, and it works. Which begs the question - why can I do it and Zapier cannot? And if I wasn't a developer, how many people need these features and they aren't getting it?

Overall: One thing we use it for is for form actions. So, if user fills a form, something else happens. If a user fills say, a form that they want private training, it should get emailed to a specific person to follow up. What's neat about Zapier is if you want them to email that request to a specific person, then put them on a email workflow within your email platform, that sends follow-up emails. Which then also sends them to your SMS platform so you can follow up via text messages.

Zapier provides integration services for most large and medium software all over the web.

Pros: Zapier does integration better than any other company I've ever come in contact with. Without their services, I would be losing valuable data all day every day, because almost no one else is doing it, and definitely no one is doing integration as well as they are.

Cons: I have found some weird glitches when running integrations between some software. It's such a difficult thing to say that this is Zapier's fault. There are three platforms involved and if one thing is off the data doesn't get sent.

Overall: Because of Zapier, I've been able to automatically collect event data, donor data, lead data, etc. every day for the last several years. If I had entered this manually it would have cost me dozens of hours. Zapier is invaluable in an arena where thousands of companies need to be able to share data.

Pros: This software makes so many programs talk to one another, that aren't actually intended to. I also love that formatting is super flexible and I can control what the finished product looks like. I also enjoy the weekly "how many steps Zaps have saved you" emails. The metrics make me feel like a genius for choosing to use it.

Cons: There's a steep learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad. Customer service is fantastic in fixing errors I manage to create! The difficulty of building Zaps is somewhat like basic coding - not too difficult, but you need to be patient in learning the process. Meanwhile, the customer service is full of rockstars. They're awesome!

Overall: Streamlines productivity, time saving, error-preventing.

Pros: My favorite thing is the huge number of integrations that are already built into the system. I'm not a developer so I like that I can set up basic things myself without help from my technical team. One of our primary uses is automated Slack messages from Trello - high priority cards, high risk cards, etc. generate an immediate Slack message to the whole team.

Cons: I do wish it was a bit easier to do more complicated things. Something that I thought would be fairly easy is actually going to require some dev time to set up so it's a low priority task stuck at the bottom of the queue because I can't figure out how to do it myself. Also, I wish their documentation was geared to a slightly less technical audience.

Pros: We are using this app in our small company to kind-of integrate different services we use. Send a note to slack when the client updated the requirements file? Check if son's sport team page was updated? Send a reminder to check e-mail when the client paid for some outstanding invoice? There are millions of ways you can use the power of integrations, and you don't need to be anywhere near "programmer" to really use it for fun, profit and convenience.

Cons: Well, you need to pay for it. All nice things came with a price tag attached, unfortunately. But the price is reasonable. And, alais, it cannot make work non-working something on internet.

Overall: Integrates everything with everything else. Very nice project.

Pros: I love Zapier and how it makes integrations between different softwares so easy. We use Zapier when we run Facebook ads for our clinic. We are able to set up an automatic email to send out to people who schedule an appointment via Calendly. It makes everything so easy and effortless for us!

Cons: When we have someone schedule an appointment, we set up a text message to send to our phones to let us know there was an appointment scheduled (we linked SMS with our Gmail). Unfortunately, we are unable to completely customize the text message we receive so we are not able to see all their contact information that they entered in on Calendly. This isn't a deal breaker but it just ads another step to following up since we have to go into our email to read the complete contact information.

Overall: We are able to seamlessly integrate many softwares together to make scheduling new patients easy!

Pros: - Relatively easy to use for someone who understands how they first want to architect their solution - Great documentation of how to set up Zaps & what I love is that the software will basically guide you & tell you if you've got a kink in the system - Awesome customer support via email - With so many open API's, it's a MUST HAVE software product for growth, marketing, & product teams

Cons: - Growth curve definitely on the front end, but with strategy & patience there's no reason anyone can't figure it out - Would love more visual interface to kind of see what's happening in real time... i.e. Zap product team come up with a way to visualize your systems to see what's working, not, etc. Almost like I do for marketing campaigns tracking completion progress, etc. - Get Intercom.IO & implement real time customer support chat... PLEASE!!! ;-)

Pros: We've primarily used Zapier for redirecting lead generation data from Facebook directly to the client we are running the campaign for meaning they have the data instantly and we are not tasked with having to either check this regularly directly on Facebook and then sending the details across manually. There are many more tasks which Zapier can assist with though, even if simply enabling email automation to deal with pesky sales emails! It link with a number of CRMs too to help workflow automation between all the different platforms you use to run teams projects.

Cons: The more automation and tasks you want it to do, the more it will cost in the monthly bill which is usual. Make sure you make the most of the zaps you are allocated to make it as cost effective as possible.

Overall: Saving time and improving workflow by automating everyday tasks and linking laborious manual tasks between your different work platforms.

Pros: Zapier has a super simplistic interface that doesn't require a rocket scientist to integrate two applications together. Zapier is saving small businesses thousands of dollars trying to do custom integrations between applications.

Cons: No phone support, email support can be slow, no live chat. Quick questions do not have quick answers because of the support delay, as there is no live support.

Overall: We have a scheduling application and a CRM. The scheduling application where our customers pick a date/time for an appointment does not integrate with our CRM. Zapier has bridge the gap and will push these appointments to our CRM. We also reversed the integration so if an appointment is added in the CRM then it will block off the time on the scheduler.

Pros: This is the first piece of software that made me feel like a developer without any of the technical skills. Zapier allows you to connect all sorts of services together (the list of what they work with is obnoxiously long) and make some workflows between things that would otherwise be impossible.

I have created some Frankenstein style workflows through Zapier that at some point eventually worked the way I intended. It took a lot of work to get that point, but it was quite satisfying to have come up with a way to intimately connect two completely separate platforms.

What is cool about this is that instead of waiting for X software to specifically develop a connection to Y software, Zapier just takes the API of X and Y and puts it together for you. Opens up a LOT of connections really quickly without you waiting on developers from the software you're using.

Cons: The thing I like the least is ironically also what I love the most, mainly the flexibility it allows you. It lets you connect almost anything to anything else, but that means you have to have some creative ideas about how to connect things. It's really overwhelming to look at all the ways things could connect, and come out with a really well defined flow that will be useful.

Another reason that that becomes frustrating is that if you work backgrounds from "Well wouldn't it be great of the software could do this...." then you mostly end up hitting a wall in Zapier. Many of the services simply allow you to crosspost something, or link things to Slack for an alert and therefore just don't get very deep.

So it's useful, but limited and sometimes quite unintuitive to use.

Pros: I use Zapier to automate so many parts of my business by connecting various services together. In fact, whenever I catch myself doing something over and over again, I wonder if there's a way I can use Zapier to automate all or part of it.

Cons: I know this isn't exactly a con, but there are just too many combinations to really know what's possible at any time with all the different services. I'm sure there are all kinds of clever combinations I could use to automate my business even further, but they just don't occur to me.

Overall: Zapier allows me to connect together services in ways that automate and streamline my daily workflow. I honestly don't know what I'd do if I had to do any of this by hand.

Pros: If you like IFTTT, then you're going to wonder how you survived without Zapier. It connects nearly everything on the internet to everything else on the internet. No coding. No complex webhooks. Just connect one service up to another, follow the prompts, and build your own set of automations, customized to your business and your needs. It seriously doesn't get any better than this.

Cons: Every once in a while there's a new SaaS that I'd love to connect up using zapier, and its not yet supported. The lowest tier subscription packages also limits you to 20 active zaps at once, which is kind of annoying in theory, but as I haven't hit that capacity yet it hasn't impacted me. When I don't need one automation, I just turn it off in favor of another and I'm good to go - without having to upgrade.

Pros: There are many tools and platforms that you can integrate this with. The user interface is very simple to use, too, which takes a lot of the complication out of this software. Each program that you connect this with has a very nice display that shows you how many "Zaps" were conducted and the last time they were transferred

Cons: It could be a little hard to determine when issues arise - exactly what caused the failures. The only way around this is to totally remove the "Zap" and install it again.

Overall: We use this to create new sales leads to our team by connecting with Google Sheets - allows our team to see new leads and contact them as soon as possible.

Pros: Zapier has a HUGE catalog of apps that it hooks into, is reasonably priced, and makes it incredibly easy to set up integrations between your favourite apps. Zapier actually walks you through the entire process including testing.

The support is really good, but honestly you'll probably NEVER need to get in touch with support because Zapier is so easy to use.

Cons: I'd love more business functionality, allowing me to administer a number of users under a single account. At the moment, if I want to set up an integration for a colleagues GSuite email, I need to set up a separate Zapier account for that person and walk them through the setup of the integrations. If I could do this for them under a main company account, this would save a lot of time and effort.

As a Pardot user, I also wish that the Zapier-Pardot integration was more robust. At the moment it's so minimalist as to be nearly useless.

Overall: Zapier is one of my go-to tools for wowing everyone at the office with the witchcraft of API connections. By connecting the various services that you use, you can do some really crazy and amazing stuff and save a lot of time. Sometimes I just browse the catalog of connected apps to see if any cool new ideas come up. I also love the emails that they send out - there's some great info in there. I definitely recommend Zapier to anyone needing to run API connections between their various services and it gets a full 10/10 from me which is not common.

Pros: Zapier is the duct-tape of the internet. I use this for so many different applications it's hard to keep track. Zapier has a free plan which will prove to you how powerful it is. Then, once you realize how much you need it, you'll be happy to upgrade.

Cons: Sometimes setting up certain integrations it can get a bit complicated. The UI is not super intuitive and could use improvement. But if you can get over this hurdle, it's an incredibly powerful tool.

Pros: I've been a user of Zapier for a number of years now, and have found it absolutely fantastic. It's saved us so much time in the stupid little admin tasks that no one cares about - syncing our various softwares together, automating small daily tasks, or helping us with admin when we get a new quote request, send an invoice or start a new project.

We frequently recommend and set up this software for our clients as well, and it saves us time on a regular basis. Once you set it up properly you can basically forget about your admin tasks and just trust they will be done automatically. Easy.

Since I've been using Zapier for a long time I have also seen the company grow and expand, and that gives me even more confidence in it. We've seen some great new features get added and whenever we have support questions their team has been invaluable. We'll be using this software for a long time to come. Highly recommend!

Cons: Sometimes the API integrations time out. I've seen this happen frequently with the Quickbooks integration and that makes that particular integration somewhat unreliable. I will say I'm not sure if this is a Zapier issue or an issue with the other third-parties, but has been a problem for us in the past.

Overall: Saved a ton of time on admin tasks by automating connections between software.

Pros: Everything - I love the versatility, the amount or programs and software that integrate, the ability to integrate and automate other tasks on a very basic level (e.g. via a database) rather than through a program itself, the ability to work directly with API makes it basically open source. I couldn't live without Zapier - and it's actually really fun to tinker with just to see what else you can make it do!

Cons: No cons at all, if it was a human it would be my best friend. There is a bit of a learning curve, but that's true with any software.

Overall: Zapier is like having a full time assistant you only need to train once. <3

Pros: The amount of software that is compatible with Zapier is significant. There was compatibility for everything I wanted to setup Zaps for. The software is easy to setup and manage. Zaps are very easy to create and the ability to control what happens is good, but not great. The Zaps I have setup have worked quickly and as expected. I have had no issues with the software working as expected.

Cons: I don't like that Zaps are only one way. There is no true syncing going on here. Zaps are triggered by an action, so they are reactive. They are not smart enough to compensate for user errors, so it is possible to trigger a zap multiple times because the user doesn't follow a proper procedure. Also, Zaps don't check to see if what they are creating already exists. Like I said before, it's just a reactive trigger, there is no real syncing going on here. Zaps are one way only right now.

Overall: I am able to limit the amount of work that a person has to do to enter new companies and contacts into all the data systems that my company uses. You enter a new company or contact in one place and Zapier pushes those to all the other pieces of software we use. It is very nice to have that part automated.

Pros: If you get it set up right.. it can work wonders. You may have to be a little creative, depending on what you want.. but when it works... it is pretty awesome. You can enter a number in the location field of your calendar.. and that can somehow make a spreadsheet of your income... Pretty Cool!

Cons: You have to be creative.. it is not straightforward.. but that is to be expected. It can be a little intimidating thinking you have to have API knowledge or whatever that stuff is.. but you don't.. just a little creativity.

Overall: When I make an appointment for a client.. I enter the amount in the location field and that goes to my spreadsheet and adds my income for the month & year. Also, when I get a new client, they fill out a form online, and that automatically adds them to my contacts, which adds them as a Newsletter subscriber.. pretty cool.

Pros: Whenever there isn't a suitable integration available for transmission of data, Zapier comes to rescue.

Reliability - There were 2-3 outages in my whole experiences of 2 years due to API changes in one of the app.

Completely a Time-Saver and automation reduces man hours.

Cons: Though they have pre-built zaps for most common purposes but difficult for new user to understand the working in one go. Also, while testing, only recent event is fetched so in case there are problems further, you will only come to know when you receive notification about the outage.

Pros: Zapier is a gamechanger for anyone who is into automating systems. It is incredibly valuable for people who have some technical knowledge. You can use it to automate boring activities, manage marketing tasks (such as social media syndication), and for technical work. I started using the tool for a single Zap and quickly created over 50 zaps.

Cons: There's a big jump in the pricing plans. I would prefer if they bridged that gap with either overage charges or a pay-per-activity style plan.

Pros: Zapier was something we had never heard of, until we decided to utilize Asana.com for a company production scheduling and tracking system, that was cloud based. Cons: I don't have anything bad to say about Zapier, it has assisted our printing company to grow leaps and bounds and hold our staff more accountable to our clients for production, quality, and work notification.

Pros: Zapier does something so simple that is remarkably hard to do for small businesses these days. I have clients that I create leads for and once these are collected Zapier sends out automated notifications to my clients so they can follow up with a prospect and close the sale. Without it I would have to have people monitoring all my accounts and websites and sending out notifications to clients either daily or as they came in. It is a major time and money saver.

Cons: There are still quite a few bugs, sometimes the automation seems to stop working for no reason and although it's a quick fix, replies or support seem to take a long time, so I have be on constant lookout and check that everything is still working properly

Overall: Is a major time saver to send out automated notifications to clients. Without it I likely would've had to spend thousands of dollars hiring more people to manually check accounts.

Pros: It is incredible the number of softwares that they can integrate, you will find almost any good platform in Zapier (CRM, Sales, ERPs, Google Docs, etc.). You can customize the Zaps to send the relevant information from one platform to another and can keep track of your companies KPIs very easily.

Cons: Sometimes they don't have yet the trigger you need to update from one platform to another, for example they can't get more than one person email in Pipedrive and can't get Pipedrive's notes in deals as well. It is not perfect but will help a lot if you use several different platforms in your company.

Pros: Zapier lets you tie lots of SAAS products together without the need for Dev time. If they have an API and integrate with Zapier then you can do pretty much anything. For instance, you could tie an email lead from Unbounce to a row in a Google Doc and then send out a text via Twilio.

Cons: Bit of a steep learning curve if you've never used a tool like this or IFTTT before. However, their customer service team is super helpful in making sure that you get your Zaps working.

Pros: Zapier is an excellent way to automate a lot of work that goes into managing information in multiple apps. Like any organization, we have dozens of apps that we each use on a daily basis, and because different information is required for each, that often means that the data is repeated, or that information is in a different format than we need it to be in. With Zapier, we can update a piece of information in one place, and have it update automatically in another place (or another two places!). This is really helpful when, for example, we use Asana for task tracking, but Airtable for the larger project picture. Setting up a zap is very straightforward, and I love being able to test out the logic in the zap I constructed before actually turning it on.

Cons: There are times when I want to be able to do something but the software doesn't have an option for it - for example, I often want something in Airtable to create a task in Asana - which I can do - but then I want that same task in Asana, once completed, to update information in Airtable - which I cannot yet do. This would allow us to support the users that would prefer to use Asana over Airtable, or vice versa, for their task and project tracking.

Task automation from Zapier is both incredibly efficient and economical.

Pros: Zapier's biggest pro is that you can automate almost anything with its integrations.

I use Zapier to integrate with my slack word mentions. It places slack messages with set mention words on my to-do list and also sends me an email.

This way, I am able to plan my day without having to check slack and determine what needs to be done.

Cons: A couple of the multi-step processes are a little hard to make. It's not always intuitive and you may have to find a creative workaround to make the functions you want.

Zapier is a MUST HAVE for the tech savvy small business owner

Comments: Zapier is an essential component to building an efficient and effective integrated technology environment for your small business. This day and age you can find a technology solution to almost any business activity or problem. However, it's easy to get lost when selecting the right app (enter GetApp), and then making everything work together in the most efficient way possible (enter Zapier).

Pros: - Huge repository of apps to choose from - Simple and intuitive interface, with 'zaps' (workflows) based on triggers, actions, and searches - Multi-step zaps allows you build advanced workflows - Built-in apps like formatter, SMS, and schedule, allow you to level-up your 'zaps' (a zap is essentially a workflow)

Cons: - Limited integration with devices (hint: use IFTTT for that purpose) - Can be frustrating if an app doesn't have the triggers or actions that you want/need. However, this beef is typically with the app developer, rather than Zapier itself.

My favourite web tool. Ever.

Pros: Being able to automate tasks is amazing. Being able to automate tasks across multiple platforms is better. Being able to do all of this EASILY is mind-blowingly special. I love Zapier, it must save me a day's worth of work a week, minimum.

Cons: It has been buggy at times, which is not hugely surprising because it's relying on the APIs of other tools. However the online support is great, it may take them a few hours to get back to you via email, but they've solved each of my problems on the first go. Great stuff.

Pros: I love that you can use this software to integrate programs together without building a custom API. It integrates with so many different applications. Customer service is really great as well. They are very patient and helpful.

Cons: Sometimes it is a bit difficult to use for me and I am in technology, I can imagine it would be even more difficult for other users. The customer service is great and they are always happy to help walk you thru set up.

Overall: It has been great, consistent, and I find more uses for it as time goes by.
