Pros: There are so many integrations that I wouldn't have even considered using prior to becoming familiar with the product. It's extremely versatile, and the customer service team is very responsive, thorough, and helpful.

Cons: Depending on the platforms you're using, there can be a bit of a learning curve when setting/adjusting filters.

Pros: Easy to use, simple to set up and understand, scales and modifies as my business grew. The automation builder is super easy to use.

Cons: Sometimes certain processes create a lot of error messages (which are annoying but don't affect the outcome at all).

Overall: Made a lot more money in less time using automation

Pros: Zapier is incredibly powerful while easy to use, which is in no way an easy balance to strike. To add to that, they integrate with a TON of other platforms and have ways to connect with ones tey don't directly integrate with.

Cons: I wish Zapier was a bit more flexible for power users, but I realize I'm asking a lot there. We use it right on the edge of "you should probably just develop something yourself using the tools APIs," so for what we're able to do, we shouldn't complain... but we will anyways.

Pros: I use Zapier to connect email campaigns done in Mailshake with CRM (Zoho). When a prospect replies to the campaign, they are automatically updated in Zoho. I am also experimenting with connecting it to my WooCommerce online store.

Cons: Twice my zaps have turned off for no apparent reason. Could be user error but it was annoying and costly.

Overall: Integration of marketing and sales. Leadgen -> CRM.

Pros: We use the free version of Zapier for one simple task: putting user survey results into a Google spreadsheet. It works smoothly and was pretty easy to set up. It seems like you can accomplish much more complex tasks with Zapier, and I'm impressed with the functionality. We've had to email customer support a few times and always had friendly service.

Cons: Sometimes Zaps don't work and it's not immediately easy to tell why. Zapier notifies you about the failure so you can manually do the Zap or try sending it again. However, I'm usually not able to understand what caused the problem in the first place.

Pros: Zapier is great, it connects most of your major online applications and helps you accomplish complicated tasks with a breeze. They are continually adding support for more applications and making your life much easier. This is definitely a way to help you be more productive and save a lot of time exporting from one app manually to import into another.

Overall: The Automation and productivity options are amazing. They help me not have to think or remember to copy this to that or import anything it's all automated. You will have to investigate a little and figure out what you need from it. There is a lot of ideas on there to spark your creativity and even help you become more productive.

Pros: I'm on the free plan and that's good! It has cut down on administration time for me. It integrates well with Mailchimp and Google contacts which is really useful.

Cons: Emails are not as customisable as I would like. Some of my apps don't integrate. I am restricted to 3 Zaps (which is fair enough as it's free!).

Pros: Easy to use and intuitive user interface.

Cons: Some limitations with the ability to find errors.
Does not do 'if-then' logic within- means you need separate 'zaps' at times when you'd just want one.

Pros: I love the fact that I don't need to know coding to be able make web API calls. This makes my company's business processes fairly easy to automate.

Cons: I don't like that in the free version zaps are not instantaneous. There are some processes that I would like to create that are time sensitive and need to be done immediately and I can't really use Zapier for those activities.

Overall: Able to automate web activities without web API coding knowledge.

Pros: I like that Zapier connects so many different types of software that the average online business owner needs. It's a great value for someone who wants an out of the box solution without needing to hire programmers to make the connections separately.

Cons: What I like least about Zapier is its monthly cost. It's an extra expense that can be high for just the occasional user.

Pros: Zapier makes it simple, straightforward and seamless to produce solutions that would incur significant development costs without this tool. What I like is that you don't need to be technical to use it. With a little training, it's easy to figure out, thanks to the templates they provide, and the tool also does a great job of finding and alerting you to any errors that occur. In my experience contacting customer support, they were always responsive and helpful in troubleshooting when I first started learning the tool, even when I was using a free account.

Cons: Some of the platforms I'd like to connect with are available for "Premium" users only. I totally understand that, and I'm SO grateful they even offer the free service. Also, in previous years there seemed to be random bugs/issues that would require me to re-set/update my Zaps, but I haven't experienced much of that recently.

Overall: Excellent automation service without the cost of a developer!

Pros: We are using Zapier to automate the contacts info from the web chat to our CRM. It works really well and it saves us a lot of time and efforts, which could be used to focus on more important tasks. Because this automation is so successful, we are planning to implement it more widely in the company.

Cons: I think the pricing could be better structured or there could be customized pricing to suit different organizations' needs.

Pros: It's ability to take two or more, entirely unrelated programs/systems and make them work together despite how usually incompatible they might normally be.

Pros: I like the basic concept - triggering and connecting events across diverse systems. It's a great concept.

Cons: It was really hard for me to set up the particular Zaps that I wanted to use. One involved email, and there was a lot of talking to IT and having them set things up, a lot of waiting, and a lot of confusion about whether or not things were really set up properly. In the end we went with another solution because the trial wasn't long enough for us to get things fully working.

Pros: Zapier is a great tool for tying products together that may not have their own native integration. So you can use it to do things like take leads captured in FB and automatically add them to MailChimp or Salesforce.

Cons: Sometimes, due to the way different company's APIs work, it may take some trial-and-error to get everything working as you intended.

Pros: There are almost too may pros to mention. Office automation in my number one requirement and Zapier makes it easy and fast. All of my software can now "talk" to each other to handle tedious and time consuming tasks.
Contractors, clients and employees can enter data into front-end forms and everyone gets the right PDF for their needs on the other end. I am still finding new uses as my company grows.

The mail parser offered by Zapier is magical! You choose the information you want pulled from email list and the data is added to your database or any app you have connected. The daily and weekly update emails are scraped for the important parts, all the data is extracted to the apps that are most valuable for the company. As this data is time sensitive, not having to wait for a human to do it keeps us ahead of the curve.

The multi-step addition was right on time. Now I can move data to a number of apps in seconds.
Overall, Zapier has made it easier for my agents to follow the rules. Paperwork is submitted digitally, leads are disseminated automatically saving time between the client calling and getting a return call.

Zapier just saves time and keeps errors to a minimum. If you are control freak like myself, you NEED Zapier.

Cons: Some of the multi step process are not intuitive to create. Support is very helpful but I feel there might need a small interface update that could make it easier to understand.

Overall: Decrease in errors from inside and outside of the company on paperwork
Increased productivity due to faster dissemination of vital information.
Lower cost to operate. Fewer humans needed to handle the office.

Pros: It meant that I didn't have to wait until development had set up the API in order to start implementing the full use of a software. It was relatively cheap for the lower starter plans. I use it mainly to update CRM data from a SQL Server and that was very beneficial to me. It has some connections that can't be found elsewhere.

Cons: Easy to run out of tasks. Tasks are defined per update not per update. Meaning that if I received 1000 new customers in a month, it would consider it 1000 different tasks as opposed to one task per group of update, etc. Support was quite lacking. It doesn't replace an API.

Overall: main benefit is that I got to test third party software and how it would directly benefit my organisation without spending initial development time. This gave me time to assess and evaluate based on experience and then move onto development if I found that it was positive experience with the connecting softwares

Pros: Zapier webapp is easy to use and customizable. The UI is designed well and appeals for any purpose. I can automate numerous apps or services in one place.

Pros: Everything is amazing with Zapier, we learned from them because we started using a shop production could based Asana, that we needed our QB to be able to communicate with it and Zapier was the company that made it happen.

Cons: The only thing that I think I can say bad about Zapier is that their search feature is cumbersome and hard to search for what you may be needing assistance with, for their zaps.

Overall: amazing zaps, that create the bridge for two different programs to work together to streamline a company.

Pros: I love how easy it is to create a Zap. I can move data from one system to another and all of the work is done on the back end. This has allowed our teams to collaborate more efficiently, as well as turn data into a visual process. For example, some form entries are turned into cards on Trello where we can visually track the progress to completion for specific tasks.

Zapier provides lots of pre-built Zaps, and it is fairly straight forward to create Zaps for almost any system a company would use. This tool has saved me and my team a LOT of time.

Cons: Sometimes it can take a while to map out the fields from one system to another. You have to select which column header to use in a Google doc when you are having a Zap dump data into a Google Worksheet. That drop down list can get quite unwieldy, especially because the full length of the column header won't show up in Zapier. Also, if the column headers were alphabetized it would be easier to find the header you are looking for or aligned in the same order as the worksheet I am syncing them over to.

Overall: Time spent sharing data from one system to another. It also makes it easy for us to aggregate data into a central location, making reporting more accessible to individuals who don't have access to all of our systems company wide.

It has also helped us save time when managing tasks that need to be done, so that information stays up-to-date across multiple platforms.

Pros: Zapier allows me to run business processes in the background to make sure my efficiency stays driven. With the ability to connected many different accounts and services, I can queue up different tasks that drive my marketing initiative. Being able to automatically capture leads from social media and bring them into an online CRM while simultaneously emailing all new leads, Zapier has made my efforts much, much easier.

Cons: I think that the only con would have to be the requirement of purchasing and levels of purchase for different features inside of the application.

Pros: Since our company is very techy it allows us to brainstorm to see how we can integrate apps to make our work easier and practical, allowing us to focus more in the most important things.

Pros: I've been a user of Zapier for a number of years now, and have found it absolutely fantastic. It's saved us so much time in the stupid little admin tasks that no one cares about - syncing our various softwares together, automating small daily tasks, or helping us with admin when we get a new quote request, send an invoice or start a new project.

We frequently recommend and set up this software for our clients as well, and it saves us time on a regular basis. Once you set it up properly you can basically forget about your admin tasks and just trust they will be done automatically. Easy.

Since I've been using Zapier for a long time I have also seen the company grow and expand, and that gives me even more confidence in it. We've seen some great new features get added and whenever we have support questions their team has been invaluable. We'll be using this software for a long time to come. Highly recommend!

Cons: Sometimes the API integrations time out. I've seen this happen frequently with the Quickbooks integration and that makes that particular integration somewhat unreliable. I will say I'm not sure if this is a Zapier issue or an issue with the other third-parties, but has been a problem for us in the past.

Overall: Saved a ton of time on admin tasks by automating connections between software.

Pros: Zapier is exceptionally easy to use. I started by playing around with a few of the hundreds of suggested Zaps, but it didn't take long to get the gist and start building from scratch.

I use Zapier to send automated emails triggered by software that either doesn't offer that option natively or doesn't give me as much customization as I want. The result has been increased communication coming out of my office with far less time commitment to make it happen. With budgets what they are these days, I'm constantly being asked to do more with less. Zapier has made that possible.

Another unexpected plus is that I've discovered other great software through Zapier.

I've got a favorite relational database. I've got a favorite web form. I've got a favorite workflow system when I need input from others. Zapier has allowed me to tie all of those together without having to compromise so I can take advantage of the best features of all of them. Because I don't have to intervene manually, there's no duplicate data entry so errors are minimized as well.

Zapier saves me time every day.

Cons: Multi-step Zaps are great, but conditional Zaps would help me stay more organized. Right now, Zapier doesn't offer that so I end up with three separate Zaps that each have a unique filter, rather than one conditional Zap that can route to different steps based on variable input.

So far, I've always been able to find a work around. It's like having a 2000-piece Lego set, but not having the exact piece you want. You can still build your house, and it will be amazing, but it would have saved you a few steps if you just had that one more piece.

Overall: We use several SAAS solutions in our day-to-day operations. Zapier is the glue that holds it all together. The automation that we've been able to implement through Zapier is what gives the impression of a slick, unified system. It has allowed us to continue improving by using the best features from a wide array of software to build a customized system that works the way we want it to without having to enlist our own team of developers.

I used to run into roadblocks with software and think, "Gee, I wish I could just..." With Zapier, I actually can.

Pros: It does all of the things it says it does, which are crucial processes to our business. We used it to connect a third-party shopping cart to our CRM, and it works like a charm.

Cons: The only issue I've had with it I don't think is even Zapier's issue. Sometimes it rejects syncs of information because of "bad email addresses," but this is determined by the CRM it's trying to sync to, not Zapier. At most, I guess I would like the option in Zapier to edit field data. Often I'm able to find the correct email address in our CRM. This is a very minor issue. I have nothing but praise for the product.

Comments: Everything works and syncs because of Zapier. This software is the glue to my business systems. Even so, while shopping for and before adding another software into the mix, my primary decision is based on whether or not the app can sync with zapier.

Pros: Reduces non-urgent tech expenses, increases operations capacity, cuts down data entry time, removes most redundant job tasks.

Cons: Not all apps sync with Zapier.

Recommendations to other buyers: The trial period alone will increase valuable productivity time,

Pros: The ability to hook any application together off web-forms and emails
I also can tie any trigger to a text alert.

Pros: Allows you to easily create connections between cloud software that might otherwise not communicate. This way, information can be moved automatically without user input, creating chain reactions throughout different cloud-based software.

Cons: Can be complicated to set up, and things can break as cloud software updates their API connections. Does not have -everything-, but that is due to the fact that it is the cloud software company's responsibility to work with Zapier to setup the integration

Overall: Automate information movements throughout cloud based software, minimizing the amount of human interaction required to operate digital-backed business

Pros: They are always adding new apps and features, and with the code options it is really very flexible.

Comments: Zapier is an essential component to building an efficient and effective integrated technology environment for your small business. This day and age you can find a technology solution to almost any business activity or problem. However, it's easy to get lost when selecting the right app (enter GetApp), and then making everything work together in the most efficient way possible (enter Zapier).

Pros: - Huge repository of apps to choose from - Simple and intuitive interface, with 'zaps' (workflows) based on triggers, actions, and searches - Multi-step zaps allows you build advanced workflows - Built-in apps like formatter, SMS, and schedule, allow you to level-up your 'zaps' (a zap is essentially a workflow)

Cons: - Limited integration with devices (hint: use IFTTT for that purpose) - Can be frustrating if an app doesn't have the triggers or actions that you want/need. However, this beef is typically with the app developer, rather than Zapier itself.

Pros: integration of case management and CRM together. We use it to push two programs to operate together that makes our lives much better in our office so that we have the ability to move straight from marketing to case management.

Cons: The time to set up takes more than I thought to start with. Other than that it is as advertised and makes life better. I don't think it is anymore involved than any other integration to set up.

Overall: It saved us a lot of time and energy and allows us to interact more seamlessly with our clients and potential clients.

Pros: Ease of use, and a vast array of supported web apps. One can fully automate complex workflows through combinations of zaps and functions - all it takes is a little creativity.

Perfect for those who have little to no time to monitor workflows. Zapier can serve as a hub to connect various web apps to fulfill simple to complex tasks.

Cons: It sometimes turns off Zaps for repeated errors even when some are 'expected' (such as null values found for a search). A bit limited built-in primarily dichotomous filter app (though workarounds are available). Recently, Zapier team rehauled the connections to Google, so zaps that access Google apps are tagged 'legacy' - though this did not deprecate said zaps, heavy editing requires a do-over of the zaps, which is a nightmare for the big ones.

Overall: Automation!

Pros: I had a hard time setting it up at first. I also had a hard time understanding some of the functions. I actually spent a few years not using it until I had no choice. When I finally figured it out, I have to say not only is it brilliant, but it is a life saver (or business saver). Currently I use it with contact forms that add to my mailchimp list groups.

Cons: Was confusing at first. Had some issues with the triggers not working but I figured it out. It can definitely be confusing.

Pros: - Relatively easy to use for someone who understands how they first want to architect their solution - Great documentation of how to set up Zaps & what I love is that the software will basically guide you & tell you if you've got a kink in the system - Awesome customer support via email - With so many open API's, it's a MUST HAVE software product for growth, marketing, & product teams

Cons: - Growth curve definitely on the front end, but with strategy & patience there's no reason anyone can't figure it out - Would love more visual interface to kind of see what's happening in real time... i.e. Zap product team come up with a way to visualize your systems to see what's working, not, etc. Almost like I do for marketing campaigns tracking completion progress, etc. - Get Intercom.IO & implement real time customer support chat... Comments: Zapier is my favorite tool when it comes to geeking around and trying to connect different apps and services. It's super useful for any marketer that want to make apps talk to each other without having to bother your dev team. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Tech support is a gem, they are super reactive and always thrive to find a solution to your problem.

Cons: Some of their actions are pretty complicated (meaning complex) and you need to be really concentrated when it comes to connect multiples apps with multiples steps. It can be a mess pretty easily.

Recommendations to other buyers: I've tried IFTTT and Zapier is definitely the best. More user-friendly more powerful, and very flexible at the same time.

Pros: If you get it set up right.. it can work wonders. You may have to be a little creative, depending on what you want.. but when it works... it is pretty awesome. You can enter a number in the location field of your calendar.. and that can somehow make a spreadsheet of your income... Pretty Cool!

Cons: You have to be creative.. it is not straightforward.. but that is to be expected. It can be a little intimidating thinking you have to have API knowledge or whatever that stuff is.. but you don't.. just a little creativity.

Overall: When I make an appointment for a client.. I enter the amount in the location field and that goes to my spreadsheet and adds my income for the month & year. Also, when I get a new client, they fill out a form online, and that automatically adds them to my contacts, which adds them as a Newsletter subscriber.. pretty cool.

Pros: I love being able to have things done automatically, like sending out reminder emails based on days of the week, connecting apps together so that data submissions into one app can be fed into another, etc. Once you explore the features that Zapier has to offer, it can save you a lot of time.

Cons: Using the free version means you can't access all of the available apps and you only have a limited number of Zaps that you can set up. Once you discover how much Zapier can do, those limits can be frustrating.

Even with somewhat steep pricing, Zapier provides incredible value and usefulness.

Pros: Connects just about anything to just about anything else. Nearly every piece of software we use that allows some sort of external connectivity is supported in some way by Zapier. We're doing things that would have required hours, days, or weeks of implementation time, and we're doing them within a few minutes thanks to Zapier.

Cons: Many of the integrations are a bit too limited or seem to be built in ways that require more zaps than I would prefer. For example, many integrations with project-based services (For example, GitHub or BugHerd) work on a single project, meaning you need to maintain zaps for all active projects. Some triggers that would be really useful are seemingly missing, requiring workarounds or extra integrations with even more services. Zapier's Email Parser is a great service, but isn't very accurate in my experience, though there are other services which perform the same functionality and integrate with Zapier.

Overall: We're automating much of our infrastructure with Zapier. Without it, we'd need a bunch of custom cloud servers running to connect all of our APIs together.

Comments: Zapier made connecting different web applications work like a charm. Saved me alot of time from coding my own apis and even teaching me more about the data that can be sent/recieve through my other web applications, databases and website accounts.

Pros: Easy to use. Quick to get started with creating connects and having default options readily available. Saves time from being wasted on how to get data from point A to point B.

Cons: Not all applications that can be connected will offer or have similar features to use so there is a small or large learning curve depending on what you want to do.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you need to a quick way to test or send your data from your website or app to another server application. I would use Zapier to help with that!

Comments: I've gotten in to using Zapier more over the past year, and have hooked it up to automate tasks related to my email list maintenance - adding and subtracting subscribers, e.g.

Pros: Easy to set up "zaps." I like how they test the links at every step and have a number of ways for you to see what you're doing as you're doing it.

Cons: This may be the function of various API's, but I would like it to be able to do more specific tasks between some of the apps I work with. Sometimes, the list of available actions is too limited, and thus not really helpful.

Recommendations to other buyers: Definitely try it out, and compare what you want it to do with IFTTT to see which service best delivers on your intention.

Comments: I found Zapier when searching for a tool to parse email data and load it into a sql database. I got it to work, but realized it works best if your emails are very structured, sort of like a form layout. I then used it to take data in a google sheet and load it into a sql table. This was much easier and worked well.

Pros: you dont need much technical skills to setup a zap and move your data from one source to another. Has some neat tools like send an sms message when a zap runs. Great audit tools to see what is going on and help debug issues

Cons: email parsing is hit or miss if you dont have a consistent email format it may or may not correctly identify the field you are looking for.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take advantage of creating free zaps and see if you are comfortable with how to automate the moving of your data. Once you get it setup correctly, you just let it run. It will send you an email if something breaks, and they you can fix it, and then replay the zap to process the data.

Pros: Multi-step recipes, real-time triggers

Cons: Pricing

Overall: Two key features helped immensely improve the value of Zapier last year - the introduction of multi-step and instant zaps. I will start with the later. Previously, zaps would only fire at certain intervals of time. With instant zaps it is now possible to trigger actions in real time.
The second feature allows you to daisy-chain different actions across vendors. Let's say you create an invoice in your accounting software and would like to save a PDF in a Google Drive folder, add the data from the invoice to a spreadsheet and send your accountant an email with the invoice attached. You can now do this in a single zap.
While the competition seems to mostly focus on one-off interactions, Zapier will help you create actual effective workflow across cloud services.
Another plus point goes for the ability to use webhooks as triggers, which makes it possible for the tech more tech-savy to integrate a much larger number of services, as long as they feature a relatively standard API.
The pricing is a bit steep if you just need a single workflow, but I am certain with time most users will find quite a few useful applications of the technology Zapier offers.

Pros: Flexibility, power. There's a good free plan if you don't need to do much, and the paid plans are affordable too.

Cons: It can be confusing to set up some zaps.

Overall: Zapier's pretty great. If you use software/systems that have APIs (and most do), you can use Zapier to interconnect them and do all sorts of stuff.

For example, if someone opts into my mailing list on my website, I have zapier take that email address and also send it to my newsletter software. But it could also add that info to Trello or a Google Sheet, or a ton of other stuff.

You could set up Zapier to send you an SMS text if you had a support email come in marked "critical/urgent" also. There's a ton you can do by connecting the systems and setting up different actions for different criteria.

Zapier does get a tiny bit confusing to set up because it can get complicated, but it's pretty straightforward and the support is there if you need it.

Recommendations to other buyers: Up to five zaps on the free plan! So if you don't need a ton of actions, the free plan makes sense to use.

Pros: The fact that it can do things for you that you didn't even know were possible. Zaps and automation can save lots of time and effort in your life.

Cons: Can be tricky to set Zaps up.

Overall: Zapier is something that was missing in this modern world! Zaps allow you to combine services and tools, and the only limit to what you can do is your own imagination. It can be tricky. You need to figure many things out and many platforms are "pro" (you need to pay to connect services). It's worth it, and if you need something, customer service is fast and effective in helping out.

Pros: - Super easy to use

Cons: Missing integrations towards hardware such as Nest, Sonos, etc

Overall: Zapier makes my life so easy! Anyone can connect two systems to do simple task without any development experience. I use it to connect my CRM (Hubspot) with my eSigning tool (GetAccept) and then our communication tool (Slack) and that setup took me less than 30 minutes. Something you would pay hundred of dollars for a developer to do for you.

Comments: Zapier is great for expanding and linking the tools we are already using, with limited manual effort. The setup can be a little confusing, but for the most part, the limitations I have run into are all limited by the apps we're linking, not by Zapier. If you're creative, you can do some pretty cool things!

Comments: Zapier is the glue that combines the services you care about. It does that job VERY well and has a ton of flexibility built in. If you can conceive of a way to combine services and they have reasonable apis or data import/export, you can build it.

It has been very reliable for us and helps us do things like take data feeds and turn them into amazing Google sheets without having to write any real code.

Pros: -great at linking two unrelated SAAS products together
-support is amazing
-the blog is informational

Overall: There's a certain form that our business is unable to create without spending thousands on a custom software. This form, originally created via Google Forms, takes you through a multitude of questions that create a fully customized and physical product from scratch. We found a new software, called Typeform, that made the UX of the formless monotonous and more enjoyable.

Of course, to create these completely customizable products, we need a database. Inputting the long form into the database can take up to 10 minutes.

Enter Zapier. Zapier takes two programs and links them together as if they were one. Once a form has been submitted, within at least 15 minutes, Zapier populates our database with the answers.

All in all, It's made our team and time more efficient. Something we can always improve upon.

Comments: Zapier is killer. Will save you untold amounts of time. You simply need to get in here and just explore to see if the apps and software you already use all the time is in here. If it is, there is going to be a way for you to automate something and save yourself time.

The only thing I don't like is that you can't have multi-step automation flows with a free account. I get the need for them to make money but some things require multiple steps, yet aren't worth the cost of integrating them. But I do love the quick books integrations which is only for paid accounts anyway so it doesn't really matter. I love the paid version for my business, but would use this in my personal life as well with a personal account if it would allow multiple steps.

While being more powerful (in my opinion) than its competitors, it is incredibly easy to create new recipes. We've used it at our company to experiment with new processes. So little goes into connecting systems that there is little lost. The biggest challenge is the desire to see products I use to provide access to more of their functionality in their public API.

Comments: I really found Zapier very useful, I'm starting my own startup in Mexico and our team is small by now, but Zapier is helping us getting posted the same marketing content to every social network platform we are using (Facebook, Twitter, G+ and Instagram) in seconds. It's kind of a problem having different followers in each platform and letting them know about important stuff of your service or product, so if you want to publish the same content in every platform, be sure to consider Zapier.

Pros: I just can't imagine anything easier to publish the same content in different social network platforms.

Cons: The free plan is a little limited, but it lets you know if their service is the right tool for you.

Recommendations to other buyers: Try the free plan and forget to publish the same content in each platform one by one. If you like what it can do for you, consider getting a paid plan, you'll find it a lot more useful.

Pros: It integrates seamlessly with many of today's industry leading tech such as Slack, G Suite, and social. It helps me save tons of time!

Cons: There is a steep learning curve and requires a lot of trial and error.

Overall: At Checkmate Creations, we use Zapier on a daily basis to automate functions that used to eat up our time. From on-boarding new clients, to integrating cross platform notifications when an event occurs -- we've saved tons of time money.

We love Zapier because you can create multi-step Zaps and can accomplish strings of events with ease.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take the extra time to run through the "how-to" before you just hop in. You'll end up saving yourself a lot of grief during the trial and error process.

Comments: We use Zapier in our enrollment system and our program notes systems to move data around. It's great for basic use cases, like moving data between spreadsheets automatically or updating profiles in a CRM.

For more complicated tasks, you quickly hit the limits of the functions that are built in. Most apps only have a few triggers or actions. If you don't mind coding, though, some more advanced interactions can be done with their code function that allows you to write your own actions.

Overall: I'm new to stuff like this - but I love it for automating certain steps within PipeDrive. For example, when my PipeDrive web form collects a lead, I have a Zap set to send me an email right away, so I can follow up immediately. Also, when I close a lead and move the account to maintenance, I have a Zap set to automatically create my standard follow-up appointment. It's very easy to use Zapier - you can't really mess it up, and it walks you through every detail of setup. Highly recommend!

Pros: The simplicity of use! If you were to consider exactly what Zapier is doing for you... creating a system to do just that would take DAYS to create!!! Zapier allows you to create that system in under and hour (depending on the level of complexity you wish to get into).

Cons: I've yet to come across a con really....

Overall: If you haven't found or heard about Zapier, then you need to stop reading this and google it right away. Zapier is a Software As A Service (SAAS) company that connects other SAAS systems together. You create recipes for what should happen when a certain event occurs.

For example; say you've got a mailing list through Mail Chimp and you want to create a way for emails to automatically send when someone adds a new row to a Google Sheet. Zapier is the magic that makes this happen. You create a Zap that watches for new rows in your Google Sheet; when Zapier detects a new row it gathers the data from that row and channels it to Mail Chip... where it populates the email you want and sends it off to the mailing list you've designated.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg!!! Imagine this.

Say someone is adding a new customer to the customer list table through webform (or even through a customized mobile app through AppSheet), the following is completely possible:

1. A new row with the customers information is created in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) table;
2. A new row in the shipping/delivery tracking table is created (of course with the customers relevant information);
3. An email is sent to the Sales Manager alerting him to the new customer;
and so much more is possible.

Zapier has the potential to automate much of what someone would need to spend 30 minutes doing. And setting up the Zap to make all this happen... maybe take you 30 minutes in the first place.... then everything is done for you.

Zapier is one of the best SAAS companies out there. They've taken all the disparate online software available and created a way to allow them all to talk to each other and share data. If you're looking for a way to seriously cut down on administrative tasks/time, Zapier is the way to go.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're on the fence about creating a system using Zapier... DO IT! You'll save yourself SO... MUCH... TIME!!!!!

Comments: Great tool - I use it extensively for saving time on repetitive tasks by automating them with Zapier. They have a wide variety of software solutions that they allow connections for - with the fact that some are missing being the only down side. Presumably their list will continue to grow though. It's easy to use (and has some great phrases/commands that make you smile while working). The value for the premium apps is ideal considering the amount of time saved in automating processes - highly recommended; give it a try for free first if you're unsure.

Pros: Free trial Many apps to choose from Easy to use Good value for money

Cons: Some apps aren't available
