Pros It is used to set up with Stripe where I have new people added to a membership via stripe, and zapier takes the email addresses and adds them to another app where the membership accounts are. It's an unmatched suite of automating software, for an incredibly great price! JUST DO IT! Lol Pros Pretty much literally ANY possible app you need for being a productive modern professional is automated with Zapier. Pros I loved that they cover almost every software that I have used. They have connected with some very small companies as well. Cons I find it difficult to use for some software. It takes 10-15 minutes to set up and if I have to describe it to a customer, It is tedious. September 12, 2018 5.0 Great, this saved lots of time and money compared to hiring a developer to create custom API's for us. Pros This tool is very easy to use but also can be extended with extra knowledge. We integrated our shopify to payment systems and time trackers. We have systems with native integrations but we use Zapier for everything else. They have a large list of supported apps and are adding more all the time. Our transactions currently process through it. Our next step will be to integrate our workflows. Cons There are a few apps they haven't supported yet that we use. While not a long term solution, it was good enough for a temporary work around. Pros Zapier offers a broad range of integrations, so it appeals in that it will connect to nearly anything. It's also quite cheap. Cons Zapier requires a lot of fiddling in order to get it to work as intended, particularly with google sheets. There's a lot of excess information sent and a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. It feels somewhat gimmicky in the set up. Review Source DT Don T. From on-boarding new clients, to integrating cross platform notifications when an event occurs -- we've saved tons of time money. We love Zapier because you can create multi-step Zaps and can accomplish strings of events with ease. Pros It integrates seamlessly with many of today's industry leading tech such as Slack, G Suite, and social. It helps me save tons of time! July 22, 2019 5.0 Overall, I was very pleased that Zapier was able to connect two separate apps that I would otherwise not have been able to connect. As is Zapier's objective, while completing these connections, Zapier was always good about making it easy for the user. Pros Zapier was always great in assisting with the integrations between two separate apps. Anytime two separate apps need to "speak" to each, it was always Zapier that was the one who made the connection. I probably need a tutor. Pros It supports lots of different platforms that you can link together, and I like the pre-made suggested Zaps that you can just activate without designing. Cons Multi-step Zaps fail often but if you do many one-step Zaps then you hit your limit too quickly. I also wish I could program it to only save pdfs and docs but not images because when I use a Zap to save attachments, it saves everyone's signature logo which I don't need and it wastes my zaps. November 28, 2016 5.0 I really found Zapier very useful, I'm starting my own startup in Mexico and our team is small by now, but Zapier is helping us getting posted the same marketing content to every social network platform we are using (Facebook, Twitter, G+ and Instagram) in seconds. It's kind of a problem having different followers in each platform and letting them know about important stuff of your service or product, so if you want to publish the same content in every platform, be sure to consider Zapier. Pros I just can't imagine anything easier to publish the same content in different social network platforms. January 31, 2018 5.0 Pros As a software engineer, I spend around 10 hours minimum integrating one API into software I'm developing. Zapier makes it so I don't need to use so much time to get the job done, and I can service more clients because it's more cost effective for our clients. Cons Not ever service is integrated with Zapier. If I want a custom integration, I need to build a Zapier app. Had they based their services around RAML or Swagger, then it'd make it far easier to "sketch" an integration so we don't need to build a full-on Zapier app for that; we'd only need to tell Zapier how to use the API. The product is very easy to use when we have simple zaps, but the moment we exceed 2 or 3 steps things become a bit of complex, we tend to lose the big picture and get stuck in the details of the small step we are working on, Zapier is not that visual compared to Integromat, but still many businesses are using Zapier and besides what I have said it is doing a good job in work automation. Cons It is missing the error handling functionality that exists in integromat, to choose how the integration will act in case of some error. I think if they could apply some new design which is more visual that will be very valuable. The price is very high compared to integromat which makes integromat again the best choice.
