November 12, 2018 4.0 Pros There are so many types of automation tasks you can create using Zapier, and depending on how you use it, you could save a lot of time and money by automating things that otherwise you'd have to manually do or hire someone to do it for you. If part of your business can be automated using Zapier, it definitely it's definitely a great solution to scale your business! Cons You have lots of limitations while using the service for free, but for companies that are just starting out and want to save as much money possible, the paid plans are harder to justify the cost. We actually haven't started using their paid plans yet since we're too small as a company, and it's still possible to do what we do manually. Hopefully once we start generating enough users and revenue, we'll get to try their paid plans. September 10, 2019 5.0 The integration with Zapier and my online booking system means that I can auto-update a Google spreadsheet with information; this cuts down manual processing time, which is welcome. Pros I like how I can integrate Zapier into my online booking system, making things happen automatically instead of spending time doing them manually. The compatibility with my online booking system is key for me. It's convenient and - for the plan I'm on - free to use Zapier. Cons I wish that it was possible to do 'multi-step Zaps' on the free plan; it's quite a step-up from the free version to a paid for monthly solution, though I am evaluating how this would improve my workflow, and whether the additional cost would be worth it. Pros The ease-of-use, ease of on-boarding and minimal learning curve are the best features of Zapier. Nearly any process of integrating and connecting various applications and software's can be connected through Zapier. Cons The only down-side is there are never enough integrations or platforms as there is software and capabilities every day that it's hard for a platform like Zapier to keep up, but they do an excellent job at continually pushing out new integrations and listening to their users. Reason for choosing Zapier The number of connectors and integrations are among the highest in the SaaS space right now as well as the available integrations really make Zapier stand out. Cons To nitpick, sometimes there is a glitch when an action is triggered by an event on email apps such as receiving a specific type of email. Pros I heard about this from a podcast Asian Efficiency and so looked Zapier up and started a free trial. It is so simple to use and the benefits are awesome on the same tasks I had to do over and over again. I love that mount of product that works with so even Trello would integrate with Procore and buildertrend for my industry in construction. Its been brilliant for the team for easy reminders once another team member has completed a task. Cons I just wish there were more tasks it could perform for me over several different software products in construction but I also understand as this product would be aiming toward programmers and other administrators rather than construction. Pros I like being able to automate emails, so that I don't have to type out the same email many times and remember to send it regularly. Cons At first, it was a little tricky to understand exactly how it would integrate with gmail, but once I figured it out it was smooth sailing. Gmail has since added some of Zapier's features to its standard options, so Zapier may be a little less relevant these days (I still use it). It can throw things directly into a google spreadsheet, performing hours of admin work with minimal setup. If you are a charge, there is probably something you are doing that Zapier could automate for you.
