Benefits I've realized: the flexibility in gathering data from different software and sharing it with others for analysis and implementation purposes. Pros The ability to connect multiple different softwares to transfer data. Cons The functionality of the tool is a little more technical than I'd like it to be. It would be nice if they did some usability testing to improve the overall ease of use for customers. It does not just help me with social media automation. But also, spreadsheet automation for sales lead collection and data scraping. Pros I mostly like the social media automation feature of Zapier. It seamlessly helped me to post one content to multiple social media like Twitter and Instagram from my Facebook posting. Cons I had issues with Link post from Facebook to Twitter and sometimes they do not generate any thumbnail for the link posts on Twitter. I tried to fix it from the setting and tried preview. For instance, generating an email when a certain defined action happens. Cons I have no idea how to set up a zap. I'd love to automate more, but it is not easy to figure out. There are also only a certain amount of zaps you can get at different price points. Which is a problem because I can't necessarily gauge how many times I will need it in a month. Every tool you use as a marketer will be supported in some way by Zapier. Cons Sometimes, the 'Zaps' are extremely tricky to set up as there is very little information for each 'Zap'. There has been times when I've had to spend hours trying to get it to work, testing, seeing there is no connection and so testing again - customer service are generally pretty helpful on this though, but can take a while to reply. October 15, 2019 5.0 Overall I feel excited when I work with Zapier because I know that I'm going to make my own life and others lives alot easier. I use Zapier to take away a lot of the admin work and have the Zaps relieve time for myself and my colleagues. There are so many possibilities that I find myself feeling addicted to automation and I find myself looking for more things to automate. Pros I love that Zapier can integrate almost any softwares together. If I like a software but find that it has no integrations to my frequently used softwares, I dont stress because I know Zapier will beable to hand it for me. I enjoy that I can create workflows that connect more than 2 apps together and that I can create conditional triggers and flows. This is especially helpful in creating 1 uniform zap worflow relating to the same topic, rather than having mutiple zaps that all originate around the same topic. Cons I sometimes find that I can't always find tutorials or answer to integrations that I don't know how to set up. I also get frustrated with the testing parts. Although there is so much functionality that Zapier provides, trying to set it up is sometimes difficult, luckily the more you work with Zapier the easier it gets and the more you learn to integrate. It´s really helpful to automate tasks that are the product of an action. Cons Even though it has so many integrations, you may think there´s acertain action that can trigger another, but they are limited. Like you may need a form fill to trigger a workflow in another app, but that Zapp only supports emails or certain tasks. The endless integration ideas that are produced upon selecting solutions is wonderful, and probably my favorite feature.
