August 2, 2019 5.0 Its absolutely fantastic! It has saved me so much time over the last few months. I recommend it often to a lot of people. Pros The best thing about Zapier is that it integrates with a ton of softwares I use (everything from Google docs to Outlook). And you can create your own integrations if you need too as well. Once you set it up and get it running it is incredibly useful and works with almost no input required. It has saved me so much time over the last year on tasks that were easily automated. It also has really great documentation available online so if you spend a little time with it (which is worth investing) you can save a lot of time in the future. Tiny stuff that you would normally do manually (everything from moving data between apps to extracting input from forms) can then just be done automatically. Cons Getting started can be daunting. It will take time to set things up and you have to be prepared for some trial and error. In my opinion that time is well worth investing but if the tasks you automate arent that big, it may be different for you. It pretty simple to create and manage workflow. Plus there are plenty of video on youtube to learn how to use the software. I'm lazy to learn a new tool, so I stick to it but it's getting a bit pricy... Pros It's so usefull for us to automate workflows with zapier. It saves us a lot of time. Our leads follow an automatic workflow that sends them directly to our client in a nice excell sheet. I really like that when you pause the subscription, it saves the rest of your money for the next time. Cons They raise the price of the software very frequently. It really starts to bug me. It can be challenging to stay on top of everything if I need to automate a number of different tasks.When it comes to Zapier integrations, not all apps are made equal. " August 1, 2019 5.0 \- We haven't had to migrate off to other systems to get them connected, and have been able to pull together an ecosystem of far less expensive platforms, but only with the help of Zapier. What we pay for Zapier is far less than what we would pay if we had to have systems that all "talk" to each other with native integrations. And the Google Sheets integrations are amazing. Pros \- Amazing what you can do to link up platforms that don't have native integrations to talk to each other. If it has a API then Zapier can get you connected. Cons \- Does require some more sophisticated technical skill. I am easily able to use Zapier, but cannot outsource it to a more junior team member. An intermediate understanding of how systems talk to each other via APIs is largely required, unless you are doing something very simple. If I had entered this manually it would have cost me dozens of hours. Zapier is invaluable in an arena where thousands of companies need to be able to share data. Pros Zapier does integration better than any other company I've ever come in contact with. Without their services, I would be losing valuable data all day every day, because almost no one else is doing it, and definitely no one is doing integration as well as they are. Cons I have found some weird glitches when running integrations between some software. It's such a difficult thing to say that this is Zapier's fault. I also love that formatting is super flexible and I can control what the finished product looks like. I also enjoy the weekly "how many steps Zaps have saved you" emails. The metrics make me feel like a genius for choosing to use it. Cons There's a steep learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad. Customer service is fantastic in fixing errors I manage to create! The difficulty of building Zaps is somewhat like basic coding - not too difficult, but you need to be patient in learning the process. Meanwhile, the customer service is full of rockstars. Founder E-Learning Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Essential to get softwares talking & automation" February 5, 2023 5.0 It's relatively easy to use - I'm a mid-level tech type person, not a pro by any means but I usually can figure things out quickly - this software has a small learning curve but not prohibitive. The main thing is figuring out which zap you need to solve your problem, once you've done that, hooking it up and getting it to work is easy. I've used it for connecting teachable to mailerlite, and for automating certificates when courses are completed, I've also used it for auto-adding leads from FB and TikTok ads. Pros It gets my various sites / softwares / platforms talking to each other which means less work for me day to day, I do feel like I'm not using it to it's full capacity but what I do use it for is time-saving and instant. Cons I've had trouble with trying to GROUP zaps and have some sort of hierarchy - I still haven't figured that out which bugs me. Whether it's possible to have an 'if this' then 'that' zap, or if not this doesn't fire.. I've been to support about it but not found a solution for my problem. It is so time-saving! It is easy to use and understand. Pros It is very simple to create zaps and automate across apps with their integrations. Webhooks allow you to create custom integrations if you have a premium account. Zapier's tutorials are great for setting up Zaps. You can test the steps and see if they are working. Cons If you are just starting to use them as a group, the team-level plans can be very expensive. Do you need your CRM to communicate to your mail marketing platform that it should send a welcome email, while at the same time creating a new recurring invoice in your business accounting system? Done. Do you want new calendar invites to trigger a Slack message for your sales team? Done. We've tried testing the limits of what Zapier can do, and we've been surprised at the wide variety of things we've been able to automate for our business and our clients. The pricing on this is solid, and the support is absolutely excellent. Cons While it can do almost everything you'd ever need, we've found a few tiny edge cases that Zapier struggled with. Zapier is a life saver (well, at least a HUGE time saver). Zapier connects hundreds of the apps businesses use every day and automates workflows quickly. Zapier can be as complex as you'd like it to be, and can be useful for API developers to connect apps through their platform. Zapier can also be ridiculously simple. So simple, I say, I think my grandma could set up a Zap. Their interface guides you through creating all the links and steps to automate tasks. It is also very reasonably priced considering the time it saves me. At the moment, I estimate that Zapier is doing the work of TWO FULL TIME EMPLOYEES for me. Cons Sometimes it can be buggy, especially when building big, complex Zaps between a few apps. This is excusable, in my opinion, because it always works in the end even if making a successful Zap takes a few tries. Cons Zapier is very difficult to use and not very user friendly in terms of it's layout and set up. I like the peace of mind I have using Zapiers automation. The integration capabilities save time throughout the day and open more possibilities. Automated actions use an if/then system that I customized to my preferences. I can add multiple steps in the case that it's needed. Zapier is the only software I know of with these capabilities that does not require coding. I appreciate that Zapier has put this power in the hands of the everyday person. It is easy to understand and the free version is a great way to familiarize yourself and make sure it's something you need. Cons I would like to see a mobile app released soon. March 11, 2020 5.0 I've never had to contact customer service at all. Totally self service app for me. Easy to figure out and implement. Pros It's so easy to use, so effective, and has an impressive reach in terms of partner apps for your zaps. Cons In some cases, the web interface leaves a little to be desired. For instance, I use zaps as a go-between from online forms to text files in a dropbox folder. When I'm mapping out longer text files, it can be really tedious to have to scroll all the way up to the field selection button to select each field. If that button was locked permanently on the side of the menu, it'd save like an hour of my time for each document I map out. Zaps work great once set up, sometimes you just have to do some annoying tedious legwork to get to that point. Reason for choosing Zapier I honestly didn't consider anything else. It is not easy to use, you have to train a lot to be an expert but the customer service when you find a problem or have a question is incredible. Pros The ability to connect all of the products and programs I currently use with ease. It is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of everything. Cons It can be glitchy at times and I have had to completely redo tasks to get them to work correctly. Some programs do require a paid for upgrade to integrate but that is more on them then Zapier.
