Thanks them we are using our data daily. Pros Klipfolio is dynamic and you can start building your visualization in almost no-time. I was looking for a solution for our business overview dashboards, which is affordable and give us a possibility to start building our dashboards as soon as possible. We needed cloud/online solution without installation, which has Postgre database integration - that's we have got with Klipfolio. One more feature to mention - it's pretty good, that you have plenty of pre-built visualization and dashboards (you would appreciate that, especially if you are online marketing agency, or building dashboards for your online business using Google Analytics, Facebook, Facebook Ads or other data sources) As I mentioned at first paragraph - we are building our business overview dashboards. Basically, dashboards for CEO and whole team how are business is doing in terms of KPI which we choose and measure over the time. Benefits - quick way from start to first viz, affordable and many pre-built viz and dashboards are main benefits which we really appreciate! Cons My main problem was with Klipfolio date filters. I have been struggling with them for a while, but then guys at Klipfolio help me out during our onboarding call. But they are doing best to get it better with every release! Pros I used Klipfolio with many data sources, PostgreSQL, Salesforce, MySQL etc. Visualization is great, you can get the data from many resources and display it perfectly on a screen. Cons You need to spend some time with support pages and you need to fail and learn on this software but it won't take more than one or two days. Rest is easy. There is a lot of different graphs, tables and other views to display your KPIs and It is a great tool to share with your team and keep them motivated to achieve the goals, I had a wonderful experience with that. You can very quickly integrate with your information in several different kinds of databases or softwares, including MySQL databases, Google Sheets, Asknicely, Pipedrive and etc. Cons If you need to calculate something or making a complex formula to get to the right information to display can be very difficult, It is not so clear how each formula works, the articles don't explain everything you need. The support agents can help with in customer support chat but sometimes even them looks to have some trouble to find the correct answers and how to make what you want. Review Source Emily L. With all of the customizations available, our clients have tailor-made dashboards that are unique to their business and goals. We will likely be upgrading our account soon to have access to more dashboards. Thankful for the product and support that Klipfolio provides! Pros I love the clear, customizable visualizations that can be created from a variety of data sources. I enjoy being able to create custom data sources and klips in addition to the pre-built options to build dashboards that provide our clients with exactly the information they need. Cons There is a bit of a learning curve. The syntax for formulas and names of functions varies a little from Excel or Google Sheets, so it takes a while to get used to the differences. However, the customer service team has been wonderful at answering questions via chat and helping me achieve my desired results (and learn how to do things faster & better the next time). I like the help support team behind Klipfolio ,as they are always helpful and are available at every time of the day. It offers us CSV based themes ,which enable us better visualize and modify data around the dashboard. Cons Klipfolio has a long learning curve .Requires a new user to really stay committed to it every minute of the day ,maybe for the first three month.However the effort is worth it. November 23, 2018 5.0 Since much of our marketing and such is done on social media, it’s important to have integration with the most common platforms. Klipfolio does this, and also has a mobile app. To us, this is a major plus and one of the main reasons we picked the program. Pros The fact that Klipfolio integrates with Facebook and Twitter was really the selling point for us. You can judge just by your figures, but with how prevalent social media is in running a business, you really need to have a program that pulls data from those areas as well. The mobile app is also very handy, especially if you want to check figures while on vacation! Cons It took a bit to figure it out. The learning curve was pretty steep, but we managed to figure it out via trial and error. Now that we have, it’s great! It might have helped to have a good tutorial to teach you how to properly use the program. March 21, 2018 4.0 \- Saves time - Professional outlook with minimum effort Pros Biggest pro is the number of connectors. Klipfolio connects basically to every tool we use. Almost equally important is the flexible access to data. This means Klipfolio isn't so dependent on the formatting of the raw data. When I import data for a custom klip, it's easy to select the data the way I want to and represent results in different ways. I've been able to construct neat and comprehensive dashboards for many different data needs of a game company including marketing data, game performance data, in-game event data and company work flow. Less is more in the design. This tool is clearly for data visualizations, so that's what you do with it. All other options in settings, team control etc. are minimalistic and simple as they should be. Cons Honestly, with a few weeks experience, I haven't jumped into anything that would have caused frustration. Perhaps it could be stated that the pricing plans push even relatively small teams to go for more expensive options. Review Source John E. " March 25, 2019 4.0 Pros Kudos to Klipfolio support! They are simply amazing. The few times I've had issues requiring support, they have been prompt, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Klipfolio is very easy to set up. You don't need to be a very technical person to be able to get going with it because the learning curve isn't steep. There's also deep integration with most of the software we use such as Adobe analytics and Amazon redshift. Lastly, I like the flexibility and degree of customizations possible with this software. Cons Over the years that we've been using Klipfolio, we haven't encountered any issues that support didn't help with in a timely manner. I recommend it to all SMEs nad bigger companies. Pros We use Klipfolio to display other statistical data, not KPI metrics. We show to uor employees site traffic, job responses, funny quotations and NPS feedbacks. The biggest advatage is that after set up it can be handled by beginners. Ready-made dashboards and connectors to a lot of databases etc. If that is not enough, you can easily create own datasources (I use Excel, ODBC and Google Drive) and you can build both simple and advanced dashboards with the KPI's that are relevant to you. Cons I have yet to find any real Cons. Being able to pull data from all the different tools we have is invaluable. As a digital marketing agency, there's already so many pieces to manage, from client reporting to managing tasks to proving profitability to management. Klipfolio enables us to create central dashboards to not only provide superior reporting to our customers, but also get a clear picture of our internal performance. Pros \- Integrates with every (seriously, EVERY) service we use - whether it's for internal use or for clients (some of the more surprising ones would be Unbounce, SheerSEO, InfusionSoft - don't see too many platforms integrating with these). - Customer support is amazing. When having issues building a "Klip", they really help to figure out the best way to represent the data. - Haven't run into any times I can't make a visualization of the data I want. With over 100 Klips and several hundred components (graph, table, gauge, etc), I'm still amazed by some of the new features that come from Klipfolio. Klipfolio is an exceptional tool. For a long time, people at my work believed we'd need to dump data into a data warehouse in order to get it to relate. With Klipfolio, I can tap directly into multiple types of data sources and get it to speak to one another without a data ware house. This is huge and eliminates a major barrier to getting and using data. Visually, Klipfolio shines and is naturally attractive. Android and iOS recently underwent design changes in the new versions of their software. Klipfolio was ahead of the curve, having their modern colors and clean designs even before these updates. As a result, the dashboards look very modern. Pros \- Easy to use with drag and drop features - No data warehouse required - If you know Excel, you can use Klipfolio (the formulas work similarly) - Visually attractive - Management incorporates user suggestions Cons \- Automated reports have some consistency issues but technical support addresses these right away - At peak times, the service responds more slowly. The customization aspect of the key performance indicators has been great as different teams within the sales department often have their own specific metrics to measure performance, especially as the focus shifts each quarter. Cons Data and analytics can be hard to interpret, according to some managers. However, once trained on it, it became easier. Just a bit of a learning curve!
