Pros Admin: - Being able to create (or use premade) forms with a clear and easy understanding is always great - Controls of users and the simplistically of it - Only need to log in once User: - A user can pick up the device and be simply told where to find the checklist and complete from there, very little training is required on the platform. Cons The reporting mechanics and any background work is very limited. When I go and do a report, it won't give me the information I'm looking for from the options I've put in. Further, it is limited in simple terms such as when a check has been completed and scoring is on, it'll show scores on the overview but not on the completed form. Gives information for the person who is completing it but not to the person who it being completed on. The Mi-Apps allows my developers to create and deploy end user forms very easily. Pros Our company has utilized Mi-Apps since the inception. The product allows for quick data capture in the field without the need for an internet connection. This is one of the strongest features for our clients who work in remote locations across the United States. Cons We wish there was a way to toggle between "forms". For Health Inspectors, being able to view the history of inspections, for specific violations helps the inspector decide the point deduction value if it is a repeat. However, the larger the company, the more decentralized its departments operate. The license cost per user is just way too expensive to be used as a data collection solution for a single department, especially that it is not really an out-of-the-box solution for research-oriented use cases. The need to do 80% customization to make it an actual solution does not really justify the high cost of the user licenses. However, when you need to customize a form to add additional functionality, client or server side code will make the possibilities almost limitless. The inspectors adopted this application readily and in doing so have increased their efficiency and ease of report delivery to contractors, cities and internal staff.
