Really wish we would have been provided some assistance with set up. Pros The easiest part was adding client information and the note format was super simple. Pros is a super robust and capable software. Compared to others I've tried, I find it easy to navigate and fully capable to handle all my needs as a private practice practitioner. Well done! Cons The user interface is the only drawback I found. The calendar and menu pages seemed too clunky in experience. But this is probably a preference issue. Administrator Mental Health Care Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "TheraNest: Mental Health Record Keeping Software" April 2, 2015 4.5 Pros 1) Clean interface and ease of use. is exceptionally easy to learn, which works well for a training facility where therapists are coming and going every semester. 2) Excellent customer service. TheraNest's support team is available by phone or by a link through the TheraNest webpage. They usually get back to me within an hour for any questions I have. Cons The feature we've wanted most from (which they don't yet have) is the ability to have clients electronically "sign" documents using their finger/stylus on an iPad. Currently, we have to print forms requiring client signatures (informed consent, release of information, etc.), have clients sign the paper copy, scan the copy back in, and drop it into one of the pre-set clinical document tabs in TheraNest. The other point on our "wish list" is ease of transferring information out to Excel or SPSS for research. Currently, this can only be done with demographic information. Review Source DB David B. Easily the easiest and cleanest billing process I have ever encountered! Pros I can't speak highly enough about how intuitive the platform is! Specifically, I love that I can set up my calendar for which days, what times, and applying user filters. Cons Almost nothing. The one area that took me a bit was figuring out the relationship between ERS's and my submitted claim. That being said, after the week of learning - things have been very easy. Used the software for: ### "Theranest has saved me time and made my practice more efficient" February 27, 2017 5.0 helps me immensely in my private practice. It makes billing so much easier than before. I can submit claims to insurance and send Superbills to clients with just a few clicks. Having the credit card system has also made billing and payment much easier and more convenient. It also helps me in my intake process. Now clients can complete all of my paperwork prior to their first appointment, rather than have to spend time at the intake session. And by doing the intakes through Theranest, it populates their client chart, making it easier for me to have all of their info in the system, and not worrying about typing it again. Theranest has saved me so much time and made my practice more efficient. Also, the customer service/support is excellent. During normal business hours they are almost always available live -- by phone and online chat. I tried other software programs for therapists and this is far superior to what others offered in terms of support. When I first got the program, one of their tech experts called me and went through, step-by-step, the process of setting everything up to submit claims to insurance. The interface is also intuitive as compared to the other programs I tried. I have been really happy with Theranest. And also my clients really love the email reminders about their appointments. " December 11, 2018 5.0 I'm an outpatient occupational therapist and use this system to create custom forms, document, bill, etc.. meets my needs. Pros You can create specific documents in the system. It has a secure document portal, a secure telehealth system, excellent customer service, and they are always working on adding more features to meet their users' needs. I highly recommend. It's easy to add specific services (like more staff, telehealth, credit card payments, etc.) that you want to use. I have a "front office" staff member who works remotely and makes it easy to do. Pros There are such a variety of features on that it can be adapted for all type of practice or clinician. Customer support is wonderfully helpful. Cons There are still some functionality pieces that are getting worked out and updated. Some features are quick "click heavy" but once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. It is very user friendly and my clients are liking it to! I like how everything you need (like client intake and consent forms) is already there and ready for you to use. Also the Teletherapy software is working out great. I like it alot better than Zoom. I have yet to have any connection issues. Another thing I like is that help is always available when you need it. I also like having one person assigned to my account that I can call if I need to talk to a live person vs. using the chat. Cons It might be helpful if there was a Library or some kind of forum to share forms and ideas with other users. We appreciate the level of depth with ease of navigation. Training and support are excellent. The support staff works hard to help, explain and provide guidance when needed. Cons Does not link to Quickbooks. We really need to be capable of integrating with accounting. It is very difficult to have all of our sales, payment details, AR and billing separate from our accounting software. They really take your feedback into consideration. Pros The whole team is friendly, responsive, and easy to get in touch with. They offer email, IM, or you can call them directly. Sometimes billing issues are hard to explain in an email, so I love that we can problem solve together over the phone. I also love their claims help. The software is intuitive/easy to use. Wiley integration is great for notes for those who want it and I love that you can pick and choose which staff want to use it and those who do not, so that you are not paying for staff who do not want this function. Cons Improvements still needed on billing under clinical supervisor. Better ways to do payroll for hourly employee's vs percentage basis. Have fully paid invoices sinc with submitted claims area. Their Tutorial Videos are amazing, but even if I don't have the time to use them - their staff is quick and efficient . I searched long and hard for a program that would give our organization everything that it needs - and TheraNest - gives us that and a whole lot more!
