Pros: It's very fast to find any applicant in the system. It's also easy to edit any table for an admin, no need any support by the vendor. Another thing that I like is the customer support, all the requests are being taken care of fast enough.

Cons: If you delete any option that has been added before but not being used anymore, it'll delete all historical data. The system should be flexible. It's not even possible to hide the options that aren't being used anymore.

Comments: Overall a great system that is good for companies with non-techy employees.

Pros: Compas is much more intuitive and easier to use compared to other CRM systems e.g., Salesforce. The UI is straightforward, the pages load quickly, and the steps make sense. Overall, in terms of inputting information, Compas hits the mark in almost all aspects. You do not need to be a CRM wiz or have extensive knowledge in order to enter information into Compas. This is a good and easy to use CRM program that works for our staffing firm.

Cons: Extracting data from Compas can be a bit of a hassle, and the reporting capability of Compas is a bit lacking. However, with time, I think they will be able to build a much better report system. Their willingness to work with their clients in creating reports is a huge first step.

Comments: This product is easy to use and helps us to keep all of our candidates in one location. We have the ability to take notes on them so that we can refer back in the future if necessary.

Comments: MyCompas is the jack of all trades, master of none ATS. I'd like to highlight the elegant user interface, and their chrome extensions that easily let you input candidates from LinkedIn directly into the database with a few clicks. It does have a searchable database, but with the caveat of searching for specific criteria can be challenging at times. Overall, I think it is a solid choice for agency ATS options out there on the market. Also they are very speedy with customer service requests.

Pros: Chrome extension support.

Cons: Expensive per user monthly fees.

Recommendations to other buyers: Try it out! I enjoyed it.

Comments: I've worked with COMPAS for the past two-years and their customer service has been exceptional. They have assisted us with every question and concern that has come up during recruitment.

Pros: The representatives are very quick to handle any questions and/or concerns that we may have. They have also improved their reporting capabilities over the past two-years.

Cons: Some of their functions could be improved in terms of the career's page, applications, and other applicant functionality.

Comments: COMPAS' software had become such a part of our day to day processes that we sometimes forget it's a separate piece of software. We use COMPAS everyday, for every new applicant, and it makes our operations seamless. We reviewed several CMS systems before deciding on COMPAS and saw a lot of features that we knew we would just never use. COMPAS has everything we need and because it is so easy and straight-forward, our new recruiters don't need much training before they are ready to start posting jobs.

Pros: Intuitive - does not require much training for new users New Tabs/Layout - love that each click opens a new tab instead of navigating away from the job, client or employee you are already looking at. Customer Service - everything we need is taken care of Straight-forward - it gives us exactly what we need and doesn't try to up-sell products that don't make sense for our industry, internal staff capabilities, or budget

Cons: Literally nothing...

Recommendations to other buyers: Think about what you really need and try not to get sold on extra features that require a lot of extra work before you can find the value-added. Do you need the system to communicate with your payroll, your accounting software, etc or do you just need a system that can find and organize the best candidates and get them into interviews faster?

Comments: I am new to recruiting and had to learn the system from scratch. Overall the system is easy to use, but I am sure there are some additional features and functionality that would help me become more effective and efficient.

Pros: I like that I can easily search for candidates utilizing parameters to identify the most qualified candidates.

Cons: Some of the features are not intuitive - for instance the search parameter you have to take a couple of steps rather than the system automate your selection.

Recommendations to other buyers: I think overall this is a very effective tool that helps in the recruiting process as well as maintain a database for future searches.

Maybe the best system out there for recruiting agencies

Pros: The syrstem is very straight forward. However it has some uniques features that make it great. I will say one of the best features is the email's sync and the search

Cons: I will like to have more hyperlinks to go to different sections. For example, on the applicats page you can see al the activity. I wish I can have hyperlinks to jump to the role or the company from there. The interfaces are not great but they are ok

Recommendations to other buyers: It has a lot of features so you need to spend some time to found out more staff. I'm still learning it but so far I love it

Pros: Perfectly suited for agencies. Lots of time-saving tricks that go a long way to making your life a lot easier. The workflow is intuitive and well thought out. Very pleased with this software.

Cons: The training was rather short given the size of the software. Would have been better broken down into smaller chunks.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're looking for a software that caters to speed and efficiency without losing candidates between the cracks, this is the one.

Pros: The front end process was very detailed in order to set us up for success. And generally, where other companies would stop there, the back end support has been wonderful as well. You aren't treated like a means to meet a revenue goal, rather you are treated as a partner whereas both parties feel successful throughout implementation. Oh, and the product itself is really good too.

Cons: I can't really say that I have suggestions for improvement.

Recommendations to other buyers: Definitely do your research into what your needs are and be a specific as you can in communicating those needs. If you are connected with a company who can really listen and tailor their product to meet those, then that is a win all around.

Pros: Easy user friendly customization, scalable, front and back office product with a variety of integration options.

Cons: The text and font editor for emails is a bit cumbersome and difficult to use.

Recommendations to other buyers: Understand exactly the desire workflow you are looking for in Staffing and then see how Compas matches that workflow as well as how easy it is to adapt to that workflow.

Pros: Support is good, the app is very simple and well configured

Cons: I wouldn't mind seeing some minor changes in the handling of the resume display

Pros: You keep improving the product. I am impressed with how it gets better with every release. Your customer support is very good. We really enjoy working with our rep. She is very responsive and knowledgeable.

Cons: 1. You need to fix the importation of emails. I still can't assign emails I receive from LinkedIn or from my team members to a specific record. I have to now copy and paste emails into individual records rather than just assigning it to a record. 2. Still too many "clicks".

Pros: I have recommended COMPAS and will proudly continue to do so. My business partners have to be continually striving to be better. The industry moves quickly and technology has to at least remain current. COMPAS has done an exceptional job of staying ahead of the changes so that our team is able to quickly identify leading candidates and present in a timely manner. The customer service is exceptional and we feel that our suggestions and comments are taken into consideration as product enhancements are designed and released.

Cons: I am looking forward to the day that some of the applicant functionality is available for the contact profiles!

Recommendations to other buyers: Assess your work flow. If you are doing things the same old way because your current system functions that way, you may not be running as efficiently as possible. Be open to some workflow change with new technology, you may be very pleasantly surprised as to how much more efficient you can be! Also, quickly standardize your internal business acumen to align with the terminology used within system, your learning curve will be much quicker.

Pros: The layout was clean and straight-forward. Our recruiters compared it to facebook as far as it's usability was concerned. It's very easy to learn and use - perfect for the range of tech skills our team has. We also liked that COMPAS was a newer, smaller company compared to some of the other products we demo'ed. Since we're a start-up, we like the idea of partnering with another start-up(ish).

Cons: Nothing so far! We hoping to get into the Enterprise version soon so there may be some limitations there. For now it's perfect!

Recommendations to other buyers: Do lots of demos and take lots of notes and screenshots! After a while, some of the features between companies blended together. Our screenshots helped us remember who was who.

Pros: - Excellent Customer Service - I can't say enough about what a difference this makes!!! - User friendly, intuitive - I love the visiual design - Product is always improving and customer feedback is really heard and incorporated - Awesome 1:1 training - Almost never had tecnical issues - Integrated well into our website - Beyond competitive when it comes to pricing!

Cons: - Can't require candidates to upload resumes or complete the questionaire - Can't require candidates to provide compensation info - Can't forward questionnaires to hiring managers - Can't easily forward canddiates once they've already been nominated - Can't "unnominate" or "pipeline" somone - No on-boarding tool The first three are the only ones that really caused us issues.

Pros: I like the ease of use and customization. I was able to customize the system to maximize efficiency. It's so easy to train new recruiters when onboarding.

Pros: It is easy and straight forward to work with. There are less steps, and they provide clear, precise instructions on how to do things.

Cons: We have barely had any issues with COMPAS since we switched a little over a year ago (July 2013). They were down one morning when we started our day. We called it in; they were already aware of it, and within 15 minutes, all was resolved. So everything is great.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take advantage of their evaluation time, and play with it. You can edit and customize it to your needs. Take the time to read their how-tos; they are worth it.

Comments: Currently, Compass has been nice to have. I am looking forward to trying out the new skin it seems to have a lot of improvements.
I feel our struggle has been with the consistency of the overall program. We have had a lot of trouble with little glitches inconsistent resume forwarding, feedback forms, etc. The customer service has been wonderful! Any and all problems have been met with complete understanding and strive to fix.

Pros: We tried it for over a year and found that it did not meet the expectations for our company. The functionality was difficult, and we had to contact support several times because our jobs were being posted, and the link to LinkedIn was dropped several time. We lost our connection six times in one year.

Cons: Contracts auto-renew with no notice. Once you sign, you are locked in. Trying to cancel has been a nightmare

Comments: I began the search for a new ATS system for my business and I had a few ¿non-negotiable¿ items that I needed when choosing a new ATS Software company. Over a four month period, I actively looked at several ATS systems and tested four different ATS companies that I felt could provide me with the capabilities that I would need, not only to operate my business but also act as a partner to help grow my business. In choosing an ATS system, I wanted a company that truly cared about my business, had cutting edge technology, flexibility in customizations, was easy to use and more importantly, easy to train my recruiters to use. I also wanted something that required, minimal clicks and had HTML Capabilities to also use as a marketing tool. It was important to be able to pick up the phone and talk to someone, have a quick response time, and a company that was continually upgrading their system and could give best practice ideas. After extensive research, it was evident that COMPAS was the only company that met all of my criteria. The system is off the charts, easy to use, and I truly believe that they care about me and my business. I have never in my experience using ATS systems, met a company that says ¿yes is the answer, what¿s the question¿. In addition, it was huge fear of migrating my data as it is my life line. The migration was quick and accurate. About a week later, I noticed a minor mistake on a categorization (my fault) and made one phone call to the migration team. Within 20 minutes, they fixed my mistake and never interrupted my business for a single moment. In my experience, everyone that I have dealt with in COMPAS genuinely cares about your success, is time sensitive and treats you like extended family. I believe that, that kind of culture does not happen by accident, but instead, is a direct result of leadership and hiring people that are the best in the business. I could not be more happy with my decision to join the COMPAS Family and believe that the best idea is still yet to come¿. and when it does, COMPAS will be leading the charge.

Comments: Transitioning to Compas has been a great move for Stanford Search. I was very uncertain about how disruptive it would be to convert to another software system, and how easy it would be to learn and become productive. The transistion could not have gone any smoother and learning Compas was easy. One of the features of Compas that I find very valuable is the ability to use a variety of browser platforms. In terms of customer support they have been willing and ready to help whenever there has been a need. In addition, they are always working on improving their product so that it meets their customer needs.

Comments: Systematix is one of Canada's largest, privately held IT Consulting and Contract Staffing firms with a bench of 700 consultants. Our existing environment consisted of separate ATS, CRM and operations systems which created a lot of manual processes and duplication of efforts leading to errors. In 2012, we decided to upgrade our internal productivity software. We required an application that was completely SAAS, browser independent, could work in both Windows and Mac environments, included both CRM and ATS functionality and was easy to learn and use with clean user interfaces. In our selection process, we evaluated many systems, and chose the Compas Staffing Enterprise Platform. The implementation took about 3 weeks and went smoothly. Our staff took to Compas quickly, as the workflows emulate our natural ways of working quite closely. Most of our processes were accommodated within the new system and, where modification was required, the Compas Support team was quite helpful and available. To date, all our staff is on the same system and we can readily share account knowledge and information. 90% of our manual processes have been eliminated and errors have been virtually eliminated because of this.

Comments: Before Compas, we had a different system that we found to be out of date and very frustrating since it would only run on IE. Even in IE it didn't function properly. The support was slow and unhelpful. We wanted something that had a fresh look with more flexibility that we could run on any computer. We found Compas. The customer service is awesome and we love our new system! The implementation was fast and the software is easy to use. Our organization is more organized now allowing us to focus on recruiting and client management, instead of why our CRM isn't working properly. The whole team loves Compas!

Comments: After having tried another staffing software, and using traditional databases, we started researching our options to bring in a new applicant tracking system that better met our needs. In addition to candidate tracking, the ability to track approvals to open job requisitions and for job offers was also very important. We also wanted to have a means to expand our social recruiting efforts. From the initial system overview, to implementation, to continued customer support - the Compas Team has been great to work with. Our implementation took just a few short weeks, and we were up and running immediately after implementation. Our managers are now using Compas to review resumes, and share feedback; they agree that the system is very user friendly.

Comments: COMPAS has been instrumental in transforming our old-fashioned recruiting and staffing practices into a modern system that's able to compete with institutions much larger than we are. Being a Community Bank, we hadn't experienced the problem of competing with larger regional or national institutions concerning staffing and recruiting. As we became larger, and the world around us became smaller (via social media) it became necessary to pull, analyze, and hire talent from a much larger area than we were used to. COMPAS has allowed us to reach or dip into labor pools not previously available to us. Previously, we relied on traditional print ads, word of mouth, community visibility etc. to attract and recruit talent. With the expanded reach and ability to build a database and pipeline of quality applicants, we are much more equipped to compete with larger organizations for the top talent. Are there other staffing programs comparable to COMPAS? Maybe, but the ease of use, ability to speak to a human being on the other side, and ability to have input into the development and functionality of the software is what we most appreciate. From incorporation into our bank until now, about year or so, I have maintained contact with the original account executive that introduced the software to us. If ever I have a question or concern, it is answered, quickly. We value ourselves here at PointBank on the notion that "every customer is the only customer", and quite frankly, we feel COMPAS has treated us like their only customer.

Comments: Submittal Exchange is a collaborative, secure online system for electronic construction communications. Submittal Exchange has been experiencing tremendous growth and are looking to fill our needs with high quality people. Prior to complimenting Compas Submittal Exchange did not have an ATS. After reviewing several Applicant Tracking Systems we knew we wanted a SaaS based ATS, that was easy to use, and could integrate with several of our current systems; as well as utilize social media. We implemented Compas over 6 moths ago and have seen value in tracking the high volume of candidates, ensuring top talent is matched to our open positions. As our company continues to expand, I am excited for the next integrations Compas is planning.

Comments: We are a 10 Recruiter/3 Salesperson Technical Recruiting (IT/Engineering) agency. We work on contract, contract to hire, and direct hire openings. We started shopping for a new ATS due to poor reporting, duplicated data, inconsistent customer service, and some contract negotiations snags with our old system, Brightmove. We purchased COMPAS about 1 month ago and reviews from the Recruiting, Sales, and Management teams have been positive. The implementation took about 2 weeks overall (including pre-config on our end, mapping, data migration, testing, and go-live). The Customer Service team at COMPAS was the best I've had (I've been party to 3 ATS implementations over my career). COMPAS is easy to use. The Job Board is very popular with the Recruiting team. The Sales team likes the CRM functionality. The reporting is very customizable, and we have already tailored several reports more to our liking.

Comments: The conversion to COMPAS was truly easy; the customer service and training quality is quite high. The database system is intuitive and easy to use. Although some of the default drop down search fields were not relevant for our use (attorney recruiting), we find that it's easy to change and customize such fields. The system exceeds are expectations and we are very pleased with it. And without Software Advice, we never would have found this vendor.

Comments: We are a boutique technical recruiting firm determined to find the best software solution on the market. We needed to make sure the solution was SaaS based and hosted online, has a quick learning curve and allows for customized searches. Many software solutions that we tried out were too complex and required an extraordinary amount of time to get off the ground. We found Compas through an online search and couldn't be happier since moving onto their SaaS software. Our migration was quick and painless and the learning curve was almost non-existent. The software is flexible, but yet extremely powerful. As an added benefit, the job posting section has proved to be a superstar and has helped us find and recruit active candidates with the push of a button. All of the people at Compas have been outstanding and their customer service is second to none. I highly recommend Compas to others that are researching and seeking a flexible, scalable and well supported software package for their business.

Comments: Cypress HCM is a full-cycle recruitment and temporary labor payroll firm that specialized on the fulfillment of fulltime and contract Information Technology, Marketing, Creative, and engineering positions at all levels. We had a long list of criteria when selecting the right technology to run/manage the business and the main reason (outside of all the bells and whistles that most systems have ¿ social recruiting, automated job board feeds, mobile access, etc) why we chose the COMPAS for Staffing platform was because it was one of the only technologies on the market that truly had the four stream-less functional modules that we needed within one SaaS application. The four module that all interact with one another being an Applicant Tracking System for recruitment activities, a CRM for sales activities, a time & attendance system with back office financial integrations for payroll and billing activities, and a reporting module to capture everything related to recruitment, sales, and back office activities. Prior to COMPAS we utilized three separate standalone applications, which did not interact with one another, limited our growth ability, and increased our back office costs due to manual processing. Similar to any software transition/upgrade there was a learning curve, but once up to speed with the support/training from the COMPAS team we¿ve never looked back. The system has been great, and we¿re able to scale with zero limitations. I strongly recommend COMPAS to any recruiting team or staffing company.
