President Facilities Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Perfect Solution for an Organized Bid Process" August 5, 2022 5.0 Time savings and enhanced organization of our bidding process are the biggest benefits that I've experienced. Pros PipelineSuite is one of the most user-friendly software programs that I have encountered. As a new company with limited resources, we were looking for a streamlined approach to manage our bidding process. Having the ability to provide our bidding contractors access to all project information from plans and specs to bidding instructions, notices and RFIs has saved each of us immeasurable amounts of time. Being web-based provides an added accessibility benefit. Cons The one thing that I've noticed is the occasional difficulty getting notices through to our subcontractors' Inboxes, but once the emails are identified as being friendly, it all works out. The team members are always available and work hard to exceed every expectation. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has answered calls before hours (I forget about the 2 hour time difference), answered emails while he was out of the office and always made sure everything I need gets taken care of quickly and efficiently. Often I email him with request that are very last minute and every time \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] got it done! I cannot say enough about \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and all the team members I have come in contact with! Needless to say the switch to pipeline has been great for us. It is easy to use, help is always available if you have questions. Pros Ease of use, and the ability to create filters and customize forms. It also is a great "filing system" for sub bids. It's makes sending invites easy, whether it's to a group, or individual. Notices are also a great way to communicate with groups by trade, everyone except "no's" etc. Pros As a new user, there are tutorial videos to watch which was really helpful to me, since company training was not available Cons I haven't found anything that I dislike about it so far Review Source ST Stephanie T. Pros So easy to learn! Month-to-month billing! A helpful person a phone call away. Pipeline was a perfect fit for our team, we aren't a big company but we send out enough invitations to bid to make this cost effective. Pipeline helps us stay organized. Having our files accessible online instead of just our server in the office is a great feature. We love that we can track who we've sent bids to, and quickly add a new sub and get a set of files sent to them in literally a minute. I've sent bid invites from my phone when I wasn't near a computer. Cons Because Pipeline is accessible from any where, I get calls at home to add another bidder to our list, darnit Pipeline I don't want to work all day! Review Source LL Linda L. Operations Mngr. Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Usefulness" December 21, 2020 4.0 The Pipeline Suite staff are readily available and willing to train or support you if you need help. We like that they helped to clean up our data base and supplied reports at the end of each month to show the progress. Pros We liked that our company could send out all requests for bid to sub contractors in one location and the bidders don't know who else you are ending requests too. It really saves us a lot of time once the data base is in place. Cons Once you learn how to navigate around, it's fairly easy to use but some things are not intuitive. Review Source JM Jovany M. Cons Subcontractor Notes are difficult to access when bidding and adding bidders. Pros Pipeline is a very cost effective bidding software. It is easy to navigate around. Cons You do manage your own database, which does get time consuming. Lately we have been experiencing subcontractors not seeing the bid invite due to it looking like spam or going into their actual spam filter. Pros What I like most about the system is how easy it is to send the subcontractors all of the bid information. I also like how companies can find subcontractors if they don't have enough to bid the project. Cons The element I like least about this software includes the fact that our divisions aren't updated. Our divisions are labeled from the last format, and haven't been updated to the master format, and that isn't the software companies fault it is my companies fault. But if some direction can be given for an easy way update it, that would be much appreciated. Review Source HH Heather H. However, it's very manual. We have since changed to a more automated and user friendly program for our own needs. Pros This software is simple to use and is effective. It's user friendly and a beginner can learn quickly how to operate all aspects of the program. Cons This software is very limited and repetitive. If we want to send invites to a specific vendor, we have to list that vendor in each sub category and select from the sub category. This would in essence drive us to set up each vendor and then go through an incredibly long sub list for each vendor. We have hundreds of vendors an this takes an immense amount of time. Very manual. Used the software for: ### "" July 8, 2011 5.0 We are a General Contractor and rely heavily on Pipeline to get information on jobs we are bidding out to the subs from which we want quotes. We have used Pipeline since 2005 and couldn't be happier. I have never experienced customer service like I have with Pipeline. Every question - forget waiting 24-48hrs for a response, they answer almost immediately, certainly within 10-15 minutes. They always have an answer to my problem (and it's typically me that's causing the problem). I can't think of one thing we'd change and I tell everyone in our industry Pipeline is the best software package we've utilized in years! I don't know how we'd get along without it. Setting up the job info - choosing the suppliers/subcontracts, uploading the Specs, Drawings & Addenda and sending out the invitations is easy and works great! There is a link so those invited can go online and actually access the info uploaded for their use. It has made an amazing difference in time management and getting the quotes we need, when we need them. I would highly recommend Pipeline to anyone who wants a Class A rated experience with a software package that works as promised. Review Source TM Terri M. On the very few occasions where I've contacted the Help button, I've had an answer right away. We have had this as our only program for the last ten years and don't plan on changing to anything else. Pros Awesome program. It's extremely easy to use and understand. Everything is right at your finger tips. Cons I don't have any problems with the program. For ease of use and the reliability of the subcontractor portal. They say they have had negative experiences with other such websites. I’m also benefiting by association in that the subcontractors believe Pueblo has “its act together” because we are employing this service. Pros Assistance in setting up service. Customization ability. Monthly training provided. Price point!!! Cons I rated this website/software high for ease of use, but don't mistake that for not needing training. The presentation and demo was very informative. No one pressured from Pipeline pressured me during the process. I spoke with some of my subcontractors for feed back and they all liked Pipeline. They felt it was a user friendly program and that is important to me. If my subs like the program, they will be more apt to bid. Some programs were so costly and did not offer the features that Pipeline has. Overall Pipeline is the best option for the money. Pros Ease of use and you get a lot for your money. The service is great, every time I call, someone answers and assist us in what ever questions we have. this is easy to use, and it works very well. I've search many other products, this company is big enough to support the needs of a large company and small enough to care, no matter what size you are. Pros many features, but I love the new "add Notice" feature. Cons I wish the pre-qual form was not an extra, but they assisted by providing the 1st year at a discounted rate. We have been using Pipeline Suite since 2006 with complete satisfaction. Pipeline Suite has always been open to improvement suggestions and provides frequent system upgrades to the benefit of all users. We especially like the response tracking capabilities available. Pipeline Suite is very user-friendly and was easily implemented by our team.
