Pros

I use insightly on a daily basis. If everything weren't organized and conveniently accessible, my overall productivity would be reduced.

Cons

The UI could look a bit smoother, although that mostly comes down to personal preference. In terms of usability and functionality, everything is there.

Pros

The Zapier integration is so helpful - meaning that the power of Insightly can be connected to the other tools we use as a business.

Cons

It could be more intuitive - it's quite hard to onboard staff members to using the app.

A good option if you are new in CRM since is a fair cost and price valued software. Easy to integrate to Google and G suites as well as to export all the contacts and information needed.

Pros

Interface helps you to get familiar with a CRM when you are recently introduce to customer administration matters. Since leads, to contacts, to opportunities, this CRM lets you to keep track ps every person that gets in touch with your business, even when is not your customer yet. Easy to configure, get relationships of common organization, connects one client with other when they are referrals. Let you administrate since your sales funnel to your current customer relationship.

Cons

You definitively need to spend good time in the initial configuration; trying to modify on the road can really get you in trouble and have no real numbers. In order to have the best experience, basic plans might let you off to enjoy all the functionalities as dashboard design.

### "Great project management tool for remote teams"

It doesn't allow anything to fall through the cracks.

Pros

It is very easy to use and intuitive. I work in a remote team and Insightly helps us to organize all our ongoing projects. I like that each pipeline stage can be assigned to a particular user, and that user will be notified via email when it is his/her turn to work on the project.

Cons

None. It does everything I need for my job scope.

As a CRM expert, I test drive all sorts of CRM, but lean heavily towards SAAS and as far away from SalesForce (and so-called enterprise software similar to SF) as possible. So when I found Insightly, I found a great product for the one man band or small to medium sales team. The main pros for this product are: you can associate anyone to anyone, any company, opportunity, notes, in short, everything. It is the best connective CRM out there. I have complex B@B clients with highly integrated markets which means joint ventures, M&A, marketing cooperatives and people moving around. So multiple connections is important Also, tagging is huge! I use hundreds of tags that can narrow down what a contact, company or opportunity is all about. One can slice and dice what you are looking for and create a list from it It is affordable, won't break the bank. The cons to this product (and other CRMs for the most part) are: the opportunity and project tabs don't do much more than list things that are happening with the token Hot-Warm-Cold listings. There is no graphical way (see Pipedrive) to see what your pipeline looks like There is not much you can do with any lists you put together except export. When exporting, company and contact are separate exports, which is not fun. But when compared to other CRMs, it's a very nice system. If they had sales pipeline capability, better use of lists (especially since one can create so many different lists with their tagging system) and a better export they'd be the only thing I use. This is worth taking a look at; it may be exactly what you need.

Cons

Placeholder for customized field would be useful. Ease of expanding outreach section would be appreciated so that we do not keep changing pages all the time rather once we expand we should be able to see more number of contact in one page rather than 6 contact per page.

From our experience within our company, it is a sufficient CRM, but in all honesty, after switching to Hubspot CRM, I realized that Insightly was missing a lot of other useful features.

Pros

It was a good starter CRM for our small company to get us more organized and move from an excel spreadsheet into a more feature-rich platform. It has the basic functionality of what you would expect from a CRM platform nowadays, with automatic email logging, contact management, as well as an integration with Quickbooks.

Cons

I felt like we outgrew it quickly. We were only on the free plan, but with the features that we used, and after analyzing the cost of upgrading versus the competitors, we couldn't justify the additional cost of upgrading Insightly.

I was able to organize/store contact information of donors, stakeholders, and other people of interest for my non-profit organization.

Pros

I thought this contact management software was very easy to use. I learned to use it as part of my job training and was thankful that it didn't take me long to figure out. I liked it so much, I set up a separate account to manage my own contacts. Loved that a basic account without special features is 100 percent free.

Cons

I wish that it were easier to send out the same email to multiple contacts at once. The version of Insightly I signed up for did not allow me to do this easily. If I wanted to send the same email to more people than were listed on the page, it would not allow me to.

The gmail app is very weak. It doesn't pick up email contacts in forwarded emails. If you don't start your account as a Google apps account you can't add it later. It turns on the service for everyone in your domain which got my technical team pretty pissed off. I also have encountered major issues with the plug-in saying it cannot authenticate. I'm used to Cirrus Insight which has phenomenal gmail integration. To make it worse, Insightly has very weak customer service. You don't hear back from them for 24 hours and even then they use a help service that is full of noise and hard to follow. Very risky software. Really look into the whole suite of services before you subject your sales team to major headaches.

At this you cannot convert an Insightly web account (i.e. not integrated with Google Apps) to an Insightly account for Google Apps -- they are two separate types of accounts. Pros

There's so much to like. As you'd expect, you can create organizations and link contacts to them for easy access to client information. The project tool is a lifesaver! Since we implemented this and the custom Activity Sets our efficiency and accuracy has gone through the roof. Everyone on the team is on the same page and it helps us serve our clients even better.

I've been quite a happy Insightly user for the past few years. Lately, I had a growing amount of reminders that didn't get sent to my email. I've missed a few critical milestones and lost a few deals because of that. I just didn't get reminder for tasks I managed at Insightly. So I approached Insightly customer support. Never got them to reply sooner than 48 hours post sending the ticket message, and I keep getting replies saying (in short): we can't help you! CRM is such an important aspect of business management, and I can't live with such an attitude. Am now actively looking for an alternative, although I like Insightly approach to CRM and acknowledge the time and effort it will most likely take to make the transition. Even so, can't work that way anymore. Truly am sad to say, I Would not recommend Insightly to anyone.

Pros

Great CRM. Easy to learn, (weak) integration with Gmail, interesting outlooks on the sale lifecycle.

Cons

Horrible support. poor response time, Failed handling with their own technical issues.

The ability to have one place to track project progress and CRM was enough to get my team to plug our entire launch strategy into Insightly. We're experiencing a major feature gap in that file attachments don't link to tasks. This basic feature of other project management platforms seems to have been overlooked by Insightly. They offer file attachments to opportunities, contacts and projects, but it's a pain to backtrack and search around for which file you need out of all the files associated with a project. Otherwise it's great that it integrates with Google Apps, docs, email and even Evernote. I hope they patch in links to tasks soon. We have 8 days to decide whether or not to stick with the platform.

It is challenging to get some aspects of our programs to update when they are in a project format. Insightly is mainly geared towards reports instead of Projects.

Great product.

Pros

This product has a wide array of CRM tools and applications to work with including Google suite, Gmail, Docs, MailChimp, Outlook, Evernote, QuickBooks and more. The mobile accessibility was incredibly useful for on the go client relation management and is compatible with iPhone, Mac products, and Android phones and tablets as well. When navigating the "dashboard" Insightly offers real time reports and even probability of gaining new business and the value of specified clients. The project management function is fantastic. Once you've opened an account with a client, you can manage follow-ups and track progress on commitments and business along with history of conversations and specific details that can be utilized in the future for personable experiences. Insightly does a great job at distinguishing leads from clients, it's highly customizable, and removes the requirement of other project management tools you may be utilizing. The layout is similar to Facebook.

Cons

Some additional features that are highly useful need to be payed for in addition to the software. Transparency on this would have been useful. If you're in healthcare, you may run into an issue with HIPPA compliance.

Pros

Insightly has a great feature-set that covers customer relationship management, project management, and reporting. Very well rounded and balanced app that could meet the needs for teams with relatively simple projects and services.

Cons

It almost seems like the development team has been packing the application with more and more bells and whistles to become the end-all be-all product. The result is a user interface and user experience that just feels crowded and clunky. In this case the utility comes at the expense of usability and the result is an app that does a lot of stuff but doesn't excel in any one area over alternatives.

Insightly has many customizable features, which makes it a good option for organizations with unique CRM needs. Also, there are integrations with Zapier to make the tool even more powerful.

Cons

The free version of Insightly is all but disappearing, as more features are continually move to the paid version only.

I first signed up my company for insightly to use on internet sales for furniture products. We ended up expanding that use as sales reps enjoyed how simple it was to use and share info on leads.

Pros

Keeping track of leads and contacts made with those leads. Sharing leads and estimating the value they present to bring in closers or specialist if necessary. Google Apps integration is fantastic.

Cons

Scheduled follow ups is a feature they could use tremendously. Automatic emails and scheduled timeframes would be nice but not a deal breaker.

I can access my data on the fly with their app, send emails from within, track documents, import/export contact info and more. I like the ease of use and expansive custom field options and ability to create tags enabling grouping of contacts or leads.

Pros

Able to connect relationship between different contacts. It has the ability to create reports on a whim. Price is fair for the functionality and ability to customize to fit your industry's needs.

Cons

Not specifically geared towards the real estate industry.

The dashboard is great, neat and organized. The UX is modern and good-looking. And it's a pleasure to fire the app every time i need to work on something.

Pros

The free plan. With it we managed to educate our clients on the software at no cost on us. Then they upgrade their accounts.

Cons

It doesn't integrate with Google analytics, doesn't offer online forms or enable creating landing pages and all that is extremely important at the media startups and companies.

Easy way to capture customer info on the move with the app.

Pros

The base function of a CRM is crucial to a modern digital business and this is the easiest to use and most cost effective CRM on the market. The design is easy to understand but it doesn't limit the functions available to users.

Cons

No real cons that I can think of. The complexity of a CRM requires quite a few features and this make confuse some users but I don't think their design can be improved upon to address the confusion of this complexity.
