Pros search functionality is versatile and intuitive Cons The earlier versions of the product were a little difficult for me to use, but out of necessity I figured it out. The new version is more intuitive -- the kinks have been ironed out so to speak. And if you don't understand something their customer service is great (given time zone differences) Reason for choosing eFiler I couldn't find any alternatives at the time. Niche product. I’ve trialled other programmes and this one is by far the best. It’s intuitive, straightforward and ‘does what it says on the tin’. I couldn’t work without it. Easy to set up for your own way of working although I operate with the default settings - which provide everything I need. Adding new locations and the process of filing is a breeze. Search is fast and comprehensive. My work is project specific and once a project is finished, all related emails are already archived. Pros Easy to set up and painless to operate. Excellent customer service. Seamless integration with Outlook. Cons I really can't think of any negatives at all. October 12, 2022 5.0 With most critical project information being exchanged through email, it was frustrating to not have all my project documentation in one place, or to have it trapped in someone's inbox. Manually saving email messages is time intensive and not sustainable. eFiler solved these problems by facilitating the filing of email correspondence (including attachments) in project folders so that they are available to all team members. Configurable file names (date, sender, subject, etc.) ensure consistency in naming email correspondence. Easy to use interface meant greater adoption for all team members. These core features coupled with configurable filing rules and a search facility made eFiler the robust solution I was looking for. Pros E-Filer solves the problem of having project documents and files in one place and e-mail correspondence blocked in people's inboxes. It facilitates keeping all project documents and files in a common place for other project members to share and access. Importantly, e-Filer eliminates the cumbersome manual saving of e-mails. Establishing rules further automates the filing. Built-in search facilitates the common task of searching for filed emails. Easy to set up locations to file messages, super easy message filing interface, recommended filing destinations (by keywords or frequently use) further make this app a "must have". It is far better than email filing software I've used at some of the large corporates I've worked in. October 25, 2022 5.0 Without a doubt has made my business as streamlined as it is today and the support is always on hand. Pros Having used the software for nearly 17 years, i couldn't be without it. The speed of filing and accuracy saves literally hours daily in administration. The software is easy to use but very powerful behind the scenes so it takes very little time to familiarise yourself with it. One of the best features, and indeed the one that makes me recommend it so thoroughly, is the customer support. We were responded to promptly and with attention that puts other IT support to shame. Our rep always answered our questions, no matter how stupid or repetitive, and was just a total pro. ITC Used the software for: ### "eFiler means we no longer need Public Folders" November 7, 2013 5.0 We bought eFiler because we were looking for something that would help us to file emails and have them with other documents in our network and cloud storage but make it look like they're still in Outlook - basically a replacement for Public Folders. We find eFiler easy to use, easy to set up and it means we just browse to a folder with the search tool to find stuff we would have had to ask for before. It would be nice to have mobile search rather than just mobile filing but we have had good customer service and users "get" it. Easy to use, good value, highly recommended.
