Overall, is a good source for job searching. As an HR professional, I have obtained valuable information regarding trending marketing, benefits, and overall compensation in the Atlanta region.

Pros

Email communications, ease of use, recruitment processes and fantastic job leads. I enjoy receiving emails comparing my skills and experience to those of the Job Description, letting me know if I would be a good fit early on.

Cons

Some positions are not vetted properly and scam artists manage to infiltrate leading to security issues, or a waste of time thinking it was a good job opportunity before identifying JD as a scam.

It has been a great hiring tool for our team. It's very user friendly, and I love how quickly we start receiving applications after posting a job. The candidate matching feature saves time and helps surface strong applicants early in the process.

Pros

I generally have positive experiences using . It's very easy to navigate and posting jobs is quick and efficient. I appreciate how widely job listings are distributed, which helps bring in a steady flow of candidates.

Cons

The quality of applicants can be a hit or miss. There are some great candidates, but I've had to sort through a number of unqualified applications. Pricing can feel a bit high depending on your hiring needs, but overall, it's a solid tool for reaching a broad audience.

Cons

I have found for what I'm advertising for, which is teachers in early childhood development, I'm getting more applicants from other resources.

Cons

Not sure how much of this is 's problem, but the candidate pool is not what it once was and I feel a lot of it is because of the way hiring companies have become dead-ends for applicants

It is overall easy to use, the customer support seems to be automated but it very helpful and suggests jobs to people based on type of jobs they are looking for which is helpful. Has great exposure for your job posting even weeks later, just needs to take into consideration the persons actual qualifications.

Pros

I like that it suggests jobs to job seekers. The way sends daily emails that compile a list of jobs that not only is tailored to the types of jobs people are looking for (office, warehouse, retail, trades in our case etc.) but also jobs that may have been open awhile not just job posts that are from today etc. Even a week or two into having a job posted on there, I have had candidates reach out saying they say the job suggested to them in their daily email by the virtual job assistant. Indeed has different tiers of "sponsorship" for jobs in which your job post may only be really boosted and suggested when it is fresh. Zip is always promoting your job! The value for your money is obvious with how long your job is getting exposure to the public.

Cons

Compared to Indeed that takes a candidates resume on file or skills and experience inputted into the site-then suggests jobs to them or let's them know you may be a good fit or you are lacking the qualifications or background for this.... suggests jobs to people based on jobs they have searched for but may be extremely underqualified for. I have not hired one person in the past 4 years off of ZipRecruiter because I am looking for Plumbers and Drain Cleaners or Water Damage technicians and all I get is applications from waitresses, pizza makers, retail but no one with relevant hands on experience like HVAC, Plumbing, Construction, Contractor, Landscaping, Handyman etc. I don't know if they use an algorithm but if they do it is way off.

Reason for choosing ZipRecruiter

I use both because they are opposites when it comes to what they are good for and bad for. Zip is great for exposure and promotion of your job post but Indeed is the one that actually gets you relevant people applying.

terrible wast of time and money. Did not have 1 qualified applicant! looking for automotive tech and get only unqualified applicants.. even called one and he never even heard from !! go figure

Pros

no pros! the most unqualified applicants I have EVER received! charges no matter what and with no accountability!

Cons

most unqualified applicants EVER!! they just charge because they can... ask for automotive tech and get applications from fry and walmart employees, from Pool service techs, from sign fabricators, from KFC employee... and the charge is about $800 a month depending on your plan... and I had a premium plan!! BS! This is a data collecting company who uses fake info to lure people in and then charge them as much as they can!! Take my advice use any other site (even indeed did better with their flaws!)

Pros

Cons

Overall The biggest con of zip recruiter is the cost. Especially in a small private owned business and hospital.

It helped me find candidates quickly and made the hiring process easier. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked well for what I needed. It was very easy to manage.

Pros

The dashboard was straightforward, and I liked being able to quickly browse applicants and see matches without feeling overwhelmed. I’m able to contact customer service quickly for bugs.

Cons

It was a little expensive. I also got a lot of applications that weren’t a good fit for the job, so I had to spend extra time sorting through them. I was not able to go through all of my email notifications.

My overall experience regarding zip recruiter is fantastic and it helps me and many of my friends to find employees and employers as well

Pros

It's a very good option available for recruiting and when I started my long search for employment. I wanted to apply to as many positions I could that were within my area of interest in order to receive as many interviews as I could. During this process I discovered . Ziprecruiter made it fast and easy to apply to multiple positions within minutes. I applied to a couple of positions on the site and heard from a few of the employers. Whenever an employer contacted me to set up a phone screening or in person interview, I made an effort to read reviews of the company on sites like glassdoor and others that would come up when I googled “Company X reviews” before accepting the interview. I definitely do not think all companies that post jobs on Ziprecruiter have positive reviews and are for those types of positions, and I think there is a great number of companies on their that do. It’s a “resume scan and match” site. It really benefits employersas well as job candidates. You can“get hired through ZipRecruiter”. What happens is an employer posts a job posting through ZipRecruiter; ZipRecruiter acts as an intermediary, and posts the job posting to a lot of job sites. ZipRecruiter is best app for hiring? Zip Recruiter is good for posting positions,

"Less Reach for Certain Job Types  makes sense if you’re hiring for hourly positions or early career roles, but it doesn’t have the same reach for certain professional roles or higher-level professions.

Overall we are very pleased with the platform in terms of functionality and features as well as the quality of applicants. We have retained majy of the employees weve hired using this solution. We also find the cost to be well within an acceptable range for the full host of features.

Pros

This our preferrd platform for placing job advertisments, contacting and communicating with potential employees and for tracking applicants during the hiring process. We also use indeed regularly, but find that we have better luck hiring for skilled trades and field staff with this platform.

Cons

We wish the platform had a built in skills testing feature like Indeed. We use that often for our office and management personal and find it usefull in establishing a baseline for skillsets. Currently, we just advertise those positons more frequently using Indeed but we would prefer to be our one stop shop.

Overall experience with has been subpar based on the issue of upcharges as well as having to speak with a rep on the phone to stop or cancel a job posting. All other job boards allow me this option without waiting on the phone for a rep to cancel a service and trying to upsell.

I've used to advertise job openings for several years. I must say that the quality of applicants has decreased in the last few years.

The cons of working with and posting jobs on is the upcharge for all the small things such as highlighting the position or adding veteran info

Pros

It is super easy to use. I like that our job posts got seen by a ton of people without me having to do much. The candidate matches saved me a bunch of time too. Definitely helped cut down on the back and forth.

Cons

Some of the candidate matches felt random and not at all close to what we were looking for. Also got a lot of unqualified applications, which made it a bit hard to sort through at times.
