Being able to upload my resume once and complete my profile has helped return relevant results. After using it for about 3 months, I was matched with an employer and job I am excited about. Pros I liked the automated email of job search results in my inbox. This has reduced the need for me to re-run the same search over and over. I may run the search again if I would like a different geographical location and/or job type. Cons It is not the issue with itself. There were times when the same postings were emailed. This was more due to the availability of new job postings. Seeing the same job postings in multiple sequential emails was a little annoying. Try ZipRecruiter" September 10, 2018 5.0 is one of the best addition into making a great tandem with LinkedIn in finishing a recruitment task - easy and fast! Pros helps us find great talents which are not on LinkedIn. Not all professionals have LinkedIn account, and it is such a waste not to find the best fit because of that. ZipRecruiter bridges people that doesn't have LinkedIn accounts to the opportunities that we are recruiting. I remembered a time when we are finding the best Manager for one of our LOBs. It seems that all people we are finding on LinkedIn are either not interested to make a move or not really a great fit. ZipRecruiter bridged us to one great candidate, and she's been working here in our company now for more than a year. Cons I really don't have anything that I don't like on . It is easy to use, and once you post a job, you're gonna get immediately a lot of applicants. Maybe the best thing that ZipRecruiter can do is to have like a predictive next steps more like a predictive text. Pros The ones I like the most about this platform is that in addition to allowing you to create your professional profile, it also gives me the option to upload your professional resume and certificate and that you can also use the credentials of other platforms. While not all of what they send is applicable to what I'm looking for, there are always a few gems in the group. Once I've applied to a position, I receive notifications via email from ZipRecruiter as to the status of my application, including if someone has reviewed it and how many times it's been reviewed. They also alert me when a job posting has closed, so I'm not left hanging. I especially like the "One-Tap Apply" job listings, as well as the "Easy Apply" ones, which are convenient because either my resume has been saved with the recruiting company (like indeed.com) or I can simply download my resume and hit "send". I really don't like when companies ask for a resume and then later in the application, ask for job experience with all the details I've already provided in the resume. It's a waste of time, but I know it's not ZipRecruiter's fault. Cons Occasionally, they send a few too many texts, which can get a bit annoying. Otherwise, I love hearing from them. Any time that someone I know is looking for a job I recommend that they check ZipRecruiter. Pros I found my current job through using . The best feature of the software is the way that it allows the employer to add initial screening questions to an application. The questions are usually short and take the applicant no more than a couple of minutes to answer. However, it gives the employer a valuable, quick insight to the pool of applicants before even looking at resumes. The software recommends relevant jobs for the applicant to discover. Cons The only thing that I would say negatively about is that it can be difficult at times to find a job that you had seen in the past but didn't save. There are so many jobs on zip recruiter, many with similar titles that it can seem overwhelming to find what you want at times. I think it is expensive for companies to use unless its through a partnership like ADP to try it out. Pros The only real pro that I have experienced is that they do a great job describing the position that are posted on the site. Cons The software does not do a great job at linking you to the fields you are in. I receive daily reports, texts and email about jobs that it says I qualify for. Yet, when I click the links to say that I am not interested or this is not my field, I still receive jobs that are not in my field. May 6, 2019 5.0 I used when I was looking for a new job and it helped out a ton. I was so impressed with their huge variety of job opportunities and great customer service that always reached out to check in on you. Best way to find a job quick. Pros I really liked their expansive list of available jobs and they would tailor it just for you according to your interests. Their 1-Tap Apply feature is really nice when you do not have time to fill out each application individually. Their app Job Search is the best way to access all the opportunities, apply fast, and get notified when your application was viewed and if you got an interview or if the position was closed. Cons The only thing I did not like very much about this program was getting way too many emails that I could not even keep track of. It was a good thought to always reach out and give posting that might be a good fit, but it was an overwhelming amount for me. I also had multiple applicants that were not qualified or did not meet the specifications for my positions. Pros Zip Recruiter makes it easy to post jobs and notifies you when you get an applicant. However, the quality of people we've gotten from the platform is only ok. Cons Wish there was a pre-qualification step so we wouldn't waste our time going through non-applicable applicants that have none of the required skills to perform the job. However, that does not make this product terrible, but, I can't rate it 100%. Pros My company has the ability to work with daily on posting jobs to their site. They give us free postings with the ability to easily find the jobs that our clients are looking for. It allows easy access, salaries for when we are creating job ads, plus company reviews for job seekers. Cons One thing I don't like about is the lack of customer service help. He is available for calls and walks us through any problems. Pros The ease in posting jobs is a plus--ability to 'duplicate' definitely saves time. The system remembers things like screening questions, locale, etc. Cons We have been having a recurring issue with templates--4 out of 10 times, when I select a specific template for a job description, the computer uses a generic IT job description. I've made the company aware, but they cannot seem to fix this glitch. I would like to be able to further focus my job searches. In the tri-state area, a 20 mile radius can give you candidates that are far outside of the comfort zone for commuting. It is by far better than many 'big names' out there that have multiple domains for different countries. Most of them have fake or spam postings and they don't seem to be monitored. Pros From the point of adding a resume to searching for openings this platform has proven to be a user-friendly and intuitive one. For any software platform, the UI and UX elements play a key role. However, a forgotten element is the people-factor. If the people behind the scene don't properly streamline and be careful with content, the platform becomes worthless. Out of the many job sites I have used in the past, was amongst the top few that actually had some very sensible ads. This creates a level of trust amongst the users. Cons I can't really say what I dislike about it. As a developer myself, I know the challenges in building apps to read formatted documents. The platform has minor issues when it comes to reading a custom resume in PDF format. But this is not easy to do either. It remains one of my favorite on-lie Job Boards! Pros This product is super easy to use. The menus are simple to figure out. Account information is set right up at top so there is no guessing as to how many resumes you have access to. The billing is straight forward - love the plans and cost is reasonable! Cons There hasn't been too many issues using this software product. I do not like that my Account Rep calls me monthly to 'scold' me on the amount of time my position has been open and how magically he can help fill it for me... I realize that it has nothing to do with the great Software product. (He's a nice guy, but I really don't need babysitting or 'help'.
