July 21, 2020 5.0 Some benefits would be the ease of use and the abilities this one website has. A lot of companies use ZipRecruiter for job posting and I think it's just an easier way to find new employees and a new employer. Pros I liked that this software allows you to search and apply through one page and also gives you recommendations of new jobs that are available as well as email you once something near your home has any open positions. It very convenient and definitely comes in handy when you need to look for a specific job or just looking for a new job. Most jobs you are able to apply directly from the website so you don't have to go through a third-party or even the company website, where some websites you have to create an account. Easy apply! Cons I am not really a fan of the emails. Some emails come in regularly which can be modified but some of the jobs that you are getting emailed about are irrelevant. April 9, 2019 5.0 I find ZipRecruiter to be a very valuable tool for anyone looking for a job or looking to hire someone. It offers convenient and relevant value to any business or person in the job market. I use it regularly to take care of my hiring needs and it saves me a ton of time, and that’s a great thing because the more time I save from looking for people the more time I can put towards what counts which is running my business. Pros Pros I have a Business and sometimes I need to look for employees ZipRecruiter allows me to do that in a very convenient way. The things that impress me about the service are that you can download the app to your mobile device or you can use the service with a desktop PC. So if you need access you have it no matter where you are. The app is super easy to use and contains all of the information you need to know about jobs that are available. Another really nice feature is that when you set up a profile you can get automatically matched with jobs and have notifications and emails sent to your phone or computer that there is a possible match. Finally, the application process when applying for a job is super easy sometimes as simple as a single click! For Employers, you can actually set up a set of questions to pre-screen to test individuals applying to a position. This can give you detailed information about the applicant and whether they may be a good fit, and this saves a lot of time. Cons Cons I haven’t found any Cons to the service, everything is really good about this service. I can say that if you choose to use the mobile app and you get a lot of interest in your listed position the notifications can get a little annoying, but this is a personal preference and can be turned off if needed. Founder and CEO Facilities Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Making Hiring a Breeze!" March 30, 2019 5.0 Pros Before using ZipRecruiter, hiring for our small company was a pain. We tried going to job fairs, ads in the paper as well as free ads on sites like Craigslist. All of these tasks took a lot of resources and time, while yielding very little results. Over six months, we were only able to get about 6 candidates who matched what we really wanted in a candidate for the job. We then decided to use ZipRecruiter. Within two months we were able to save hours of time, while getting double the qualified candidates. This software has changed the way we hire and we are grateful! Cons What I like least about the software is the customer service. It may have been a one time thing, but when I called the experience was terrible. We had some log in issues and like most websites it is impossible to reset the password without calling the customer service line. When I called the operator, she was extremely short and I felt rushed. While I was one the phone, I was asking about ways to keep making our job applications more efficient (as long as I was already calling). The operator kept referring me to articles, but not being polite or personable. I understand you have to keep it rolling, but customer service should not be a thing you cut corners on. However, i need to work extra to filter out information. Overall, it’s okay. Not good and not bad Pros The fact that it has a variety of jobs available at its platform. Compared to other services, it shows me more vacant positions Cons It sometimes sends me irrelevant material. The jobs which I am not seeking are also part of the list it sends across. Cons It would be nice if they were more cost beneficial for us. Not sure if it’s the volume they produce that leads to higher costs but that could improve. It's easy to use and figure out and reaches a large pool of possible candidates in one place. Pros What I like most about Zip Recruiter is that it takes your posts and puts them out to a few recruiting sites, but eliminates the need to visit any site other than it's own. I like that you can choose how many listings you can have at one time. I like that you can target which cities you would like to recruit in. I like that it integrates with your email platform, and I also like that you can create templates to streamline emailing your recruits while following your process flow. Cons The thing that I like least about Zip Recruiter is that sometimes markets can be too saturated for what you're looking for, and if you are working with a team, it's hard to know who has already been contacted until you reach out to a recruit yourself and they tell you they've already spoken with someone. The pricing was a little high, but it would have been worth the investment if it had resulted in hiring someone. I like the resume database, but there was very little inventory and because of this it was recommending people who were not qualified for the position. Pros It was easy to set up a profile and post a job. Customer service was fantastic. When I would call I got a real person on the phone. Cons It was difficult to access candidate information. I would reach out and the messages were sent to a ZipRecuiter created email for the candidate, not their actual personal email. So unless they checked into the app constantly, it was hard to get in touch with people to set up interviews to get information. The product gives ample options that help to narrow your results to locations, years worked, the timeframe of the post being up, and so much more. Cons The only con I have is that some of the postings are from 30+ days ago and these jobs happen to be closed. I think that is they were removed it would create an even better query when searching for jobs or even posting them so they do not get mixed with the postings that are no longer active. Pros After moving to a new place I really needed to find a job. I was basically starting my life over and needed help finding a job that she did my skills.
