It will remain one of my key resources when I'm looking to make a change in my career. If you haven't tried it yet, you absolutely should do so. Pros Ease of use. When you're looking for a job, that's one of my top choices. Very straight forward interface, nothing overwhelming, comparing to some other competitors. I highly recommend this product Cons None really. When you like a product, it's hard to find what you don't like. I didn't have to work with their support team. Sometimes the auto suggested jobs that come up can be far from what I do, but that's fine. Review Source Allison M. Pros Very easy to sign up and download on all platforms. When reviewing the software it gives a very promising idea of what results will be achieved. Cons There are far to many spam organizations using this platform! Many serious applicants will ignore all requests and emails from this software because of the increasing amounts of spam information neing sent out. I think for general, admin or entry level roles, this might be a better fit. The application pool is very large, but if ninety percent of them are no longer looking for work it's a waste of my time. Pros The information and number of potential applicants is untouched. There is no other program that allows me to find as many job seekers as does. It's quick to learn because the system is very user friendly. Cons I only give this program a 7 due to the limitations it has. While I'm able to access a large pool of job seekers, it's difficult to filter them out. People who were looking for a job 9 months ago are mixed into those who need immediate employment. Every site has its hiccups but this site has been a great help to me. Pros I use this as an app on my phone and it has worked wonders. Even on the go I can quickly look for positions. It makes it easier for me to narrow now where I want a job. Cons One of the things that I do not like is that when people reach out to you it’s hard to see which ones are actually wanting to get your resume. Small improvements will make it even better. Pros is easy to access, as it is a web based platform. The dashboard is easy to use and setup to find what you need quickly when looking for potential candidates. We use it 2-3 times per week following up on candidates. Cons I would like it easier to contact potential candidates with an Outlook 365 connector. This will allow me to send emails directly from my account and have copies of the engagement in the system. Allowing templates, appointment setups, and calendar invites much easier to manage. Cons The supposed AI-powered search algorithm leaves me wanting. I was getting emails multiple times a day for roles completely out of touch with my alerts. It appears the algorithm scans for key words while ignoring functions ie. "account manager" alerts within marketing/advertising also pulled up account manager roles in completely unrelated fields making so many emails completely useless. Review Source Nick T. From setting up the listing to getting applicants to screening them to hiring. Pros What i liked about zip recruiter is being able to have candidates "pree screened" before they apply for the job. ZipRecruiter has been useful when applying for positions, so that I spend less time searching. It's also convenient when applying, in that it automatically opens to the employer's job listing so that you can apply. Pros I like that you can register to receive emails with job listings by job title and keywords, as opposed to having to visit the website and then search. I also like that when you click to apply for a position, ZipRecruiter automatically takes you to the employer's website so that you can start an application. Cons As is an aggregate job listing site, positions listed are often found on other sites (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed). They were all professional and prepared for the interviews. Yay for Zip Recruiter. Pros Very user friendly. This software allowance you to do what you out do best which is run a company if you are a business owner looking to hire a new recruit. They are very thorough in getting the needed info from candidates and they are right on when it comes to qualifications. Cons I honestly do not have anything that I don’t like. Pros As a manufacturing company, we're facing the same obstacles as everybody else in America right now -- finding and recruiting quality candidates. saved us a ton of time and just delivered candidates to our doorstep. We went from sifting through resumes to training and producing. Cons Not much! Maybe that the free trial wasn't longer, but that's an easy thing to gripe about :). Pros I've gotten a number of good candidates from Zip Recruiter Cons Sometimes they seem to match candidates at random, or with no regard for the job posting. " October 3, 2019 5.0 Placing candidates is not easy but with , candidates are able to apply directly and recruiters can discover great talent at their fingertips. Pros is also one of my favorite tooks as it allows me to receive ample amoung of leads for a specific role. You can make specific taggings for each lead that you review. It also allows you to download the resume of interested applicants. Cons Nothing. This has always been an amazing tool to use. Pros is a fantastic tool to assist in the always-daunting job search. When I moved out to California, ZipRecruiter was one of the first online job-boards that I went into. As for the platform, what's not to love? Clean interface, suggested jobs, many jobs listed but without being visually overwhelming, heavy details upon further clicking, and many include pay and benefits in the quickly visible ad. Also, the mobile experience is just as enjoyable as the desktop version. Cons About the only issue, I had with dealing with ZR for a few months was the excess emails and notifications. Yes, I would like to receive related job offers but maybe once a week. I don't want them coming every day or several times a day because I had gone through numerous job title searches. While I was contacted by a few companies, I found most of them to be unreliable. This is more on the company than but it certainly seemed like there was less of a spam filter for job postings. I wish the emails would have been helpful but ultimately they were not. Pros Zip Recruiter seemed to have quite a large number of job listings, which is nice if you are on the market and looking to apply to as many as possible. They also have a notification service that is set up for you automatically which will routinely email you job postings that they deem to be a good fit, allow a bit of a hands off approach to job hunting. Cons The issue was that it had a large number of shady looking opportunities. Many that never responded or were questionable in terms of reliability. I had a number of opportunities end up never responding to me after we had had initial conversations or even had an interview. Instead of telling me no, they just ignored me completely. I also found the email job suggestions to be totally off the mark. Many of them were terrible fits and didn't match up well at all with what I was looking for.
