April 15, 2022 4.0  I receive daily E-Mails from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] with employment recommendations that are reasonable. Also, I can easily apply using my ZipRecruiter profile and do not have to spend a lot of time filling up a profile. Pros All at one spot, get fast access to millions of jobs and search for the top people. There's no need to go through tens of thousands of meaningless job advertisements from other sites. We save time and simply recruit the perfect individual for our business using ZipRecruiter. The dashboard is useful for retrieving data when a new user searches on this platform. Its plan price is fair for a job consultant and ideal for the company. ZipRecruiter makes it simpler for businesses to employ smartly. They include tools for application tracking and social media recruiting in addition to advertising positions to over 100 secure job sites. Cons I occasionally receive job referrals outside of my industry and skill set. I'm not sure why I keep getting these job recommendations when I've never looked for anything like that. I was unemployed for 6 months and the stresses of being refused a job were getting to be concerning. I hated opening my email for fear of another rejection. I all but quit looking for a job. However, with ZipRecruiter, I was able to continue applying for positions with my qualifications. I feel it was the soul reason I got the position I currently hold now. Thanks ZipRecruiter. Pros We have all seen the job postings for "closers wanted". Well ZipRecruiter can help you find them. This program is very simple to use and set up your portfolio. You get to then answer job postings that match your criteria with the job. It also allows you to ask additional non-standard questions of candidates to help you get to the personality you wish to work with. I especially love the "one-click" apply feature. This helps the candidate to apply quickly with the confidence that all their portfolio information will make it to the hiring manager. Cons The initial setup was a long process. It takes time for ZipRecruiter to learn your preferences and the things that are important in a job search. This slow process could use some improvements. Their customer service has also been top notch and has provided real support in our search for good hires. Pros ZipRecruiter is easy to use and really helps our company target the right employees for the job. We have had almost no turnover using this software to find people to join our team. It is easy to use and is looked at by a talented pool of prospects. Cons Ziprecruiter comes a relatively expensive cost compared to other software that we have used (and continue to use). Indeed, for example, is free and provides us with decent results, though not on par with the quality that comes in from ZipRecruiter. Only apply for jobs with well-known companies. Use Indeed to find out which companies are hiring and then apply directly to the companies' websites. It's more time consuming but worth it in the long run. Pros It is easy to use and allows access to multiple job boards. It very interactive and sends out lots of "job leads". It has an AI system that assists with job matching. Cons All of the "job leads" get spamming very quickly. The quality of the jobs offered are not that good. I've applied for several jobs for a friend that were misleading. They turned out to me commissions, low paying, and or MLM positions. The employers' actually tricked him into interviewing and made false claims about employment opportunities that were non-existent. They were basically cattle calls for minimum wage cold sales jobs. We have filled the required job slots for the position we posted thru your portal. Pros The response time of customer support is far superior than other job sites that we use. The amount of resumes we receive. Cons Many times the applicants do not have a resume uploaded in the system. Many times there is no phone number listed in order to contact the applicant. These should be mandatory in order for them to apply for a job especially when I add resume is mandatory. also ensure my knockout questions are followed before they are allowed to apply, many times they have NO relevant experience or not authorized to work in the US. Could definitely use improvements from the internal and external user sides to make it more impactful. Pros This is definitely where the candidates are. Between this and LinkedIn, this is where people look for jobs. There’s a nice preview feature that allows you to quickly review resumes. Cons I am not a fan of the thumbs up/down feature or that it lets candidates know when their profile is viewed multiple times. It’s not always for good reason. There’s no way to filter out already viewed candidates and it leaves the candidate with a false sense they will be contacted and are a good fit. Pros We hire a large number of seasonal staff every year for holiday events. In the past, this has been a clunky and laborious process. ZipRecruiter has made it so much easier to publicize our postings and get in the applications we need. No longer are we stressing about how we'll make sure to get enough applications to do the hiring we need. ZipRecruiter has streamlined every aspect of this and now we can focus on the business, not on hiring! Cons My only complaint is that there could be more functionality for posting compensation. We hire a lot of roles with varying levels of compensation and various compensation structure (hourly, salary, commission, contracting, etc). It doesn't feel like ZipRecruiter pprovides me enough functionality I need to properly describe to candidates what the compensation package will entail.
