### "Easy practice management"

Pros

I shopped around for a long time before I purchased this product. It has simplified billing, scheduling, and was easily integrated into my calendar and schedule. I wish that I had discovered it years ago.

Cons

Sometimes hard to remember where all the features are found.

I was skeptical about trying an online management system but gave the free month trial a go. I watched some of the tutorials and was up and running within an hour. There are some things I am hoping they will implement soon but for the most part it's super easy to use. I love that I can set up reminders to be sent to my clients. I also love that I can use it on my Iphone, too. Now I don't even have to bring my computer with me! The things I hope they add or improve would be the ability to create Release of Information forms that my clients could fill out online. Currently I have to give them a paper version and then upload it. The customer service sometimes takes a few days to get back to you so I'm hoping that will get better. All in all I'm super happy with Simple Practice and would definitely recommend it to any of my colleagues.

Pros

I love the design and ease of this platform. I also like how everything is very organized in seems to be in the place it should be (easy to learn to use). I like that the calendar dual syncs to google.

Cons

so far, the only thing I don't love is that the demo form is not editable, but you can make your own, so thats helpful.

I plan to use it, I know my colleagues like it very much.

Pros

I do like what appears to be simple and inviting. The schedules, many of the tabs, and mostly other people's appreciation of your site.

Cons

Know that I am learning to navigate the site and finding it difficult to find how to do some simple things. The prompts are not as clear as one would like them to be. How do I send Intake forms to a client? Will they be able to send them back to me? I am guessing the answer is yes, but I can't find any simple linear language to take me there. Asking the questions has given me the FAQ answers to preset issues. Much harder on the Mobile App to find the pages I need.

Aside from the invoice numbering I have had the most seamless experience transitioning into a sole private practice. Having had experience with Theranest (as part of a group private practice) and the frustrations that ensued with the non-intuitive format of client pages, the back and forth needed to complete notes from the scheduler, and group notes issues, Simple Practice could not be simpler. And customer service is also very helpful! I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to start a private practice on the right foot, or transition from paper to electronic health record.

Pros

The ease with which I can do everything needed to run my own practice, at an affordable cost.

Cons

The default for invoice numbering, which cannot be adjusted.

Pros

I have been learning to use SP for my recently opened practice. It has a lot of functions I really like and flexibility about what to use/not use (i.e., credit cards, client portal, etc.). I liked being able to create my own practice documents and to sync calendar.

Cons

I don't think it's the most intuitive/user-friendly and it's taken me some time to figure out how to do something beyond adding client and writing a simple note. I'm getting it though and overall, I think it's worth it.

I am fairly new to paying for the software, but have been using the free trials to become familiar with the program, and I love Simple Practice. Pros- it is very user-friendly and intuitive, has plenty or instructional videos, is budget-friendly, has a client portal, and is customizable. Cons- though a group practice option is in the works, it would be really helpful to have it now as my colleague and I overlap on some clients, and share many of the same forms and documents; lack of accessible phone number for customer support (however, they are responsive to emails) Simple Practice really is simple- so easy to use and includes all the features I need to manage my own practice.

Pros

Easy to use, simple interface, integrated and the ability to customize things and also have templates available for use.

The only thing I'm not pleased with is that they charge you extra for the telehealth option.

Cons

I would love for the telehealth feature to be HD. The interface is a little difficult to find things, but I think that will evolve over time. Also, I will get better at remembering where things are located.

I love that everything is literally in one place, the system is cute and customer service is really responsive.

Pros

I really like the easy of the system and all the functions.

Cons

Well, if there is one thing it would be that the system is not bilingual. This may be a big ask, but perhaps having some forms in Spanish would be great. I know we are able to upload it, it would just be awesome to see some Spanish functionality in the site.

I love SimplePractice easy to use with great customer support. It has really helped me start my own private practice. I highly recommend it.

Pros

Simple practice made billing really easy (both case and credit card.) It also creates invoices and allows me to track payments. The software also provides secure ways of contacting clients.

Cons

It is great that other users can create forms to share on their discussion boards but we cannot load these forms directly into the software. SimplePractice is adding the most popular forms but this takes a while.

I have always had difficulty managing paper files and staying on top of handwritten session notes. Simple Practice is exactly what I needed, and is helping me handle the logistics of private practice with much less stress and frustration. The App is a great way for me to keep all the details in order as I move between settings and office spaces. I am able to customize settings to work with the specifics of my practice and the automatic reminders are very helpful. The platforms for both desktop and mobile are intuitive and user friendly, and the customer service has been prompt and very responsive to my needs. I haven't tried using the program for insurance billing purposes yet. I expect to be using Simple Practice for years to come and recommend it highly for anyone in private practice (including pre-licensed therapists).

I researched multiple competitors and had four 30 day trials going at one time to compare in real time working environment. I opted for simple practice as the most cost affordable on the market as well as most user friendly. I am using in primarily for client notes - to keep separate from our medical information software and for that purpose it has the best features - appreciate the daily email reminders of past due notes and schedule which several competitors did not have. Also appreciated the auto-correct as you enter notes. The only concern I have is there was not as much aid in drop down features for entering notes as many notes have repetitive information, they have an open text box which you can populate with headings for SOAP or DAT notes (neither of which format I use). All in all a great resource for my needs.

I have been a search for a database system, that would allow me to document meetings, billing, calendar, invoices, and appointment reminders. I actually originally signed up with another company but when I came across Simple Practice I am immediately signed up. It is easy to use has a lot of amazing options to run a practice. A huge plus is the IOS application. The one negative part is that the application does not provide a lot of the awesome desktop options such as billing and sending intakes to clients on the application. But the plus that I really like is the ability to see feedback from other customers and Simple Practice actually implements customers ideas into the database.

I'm so pleased I signed on to Simple Practice after my consultant recommended it. Before Simple Practice, I was keeping records electronically in a collection of Word and Excel documents. Now I've got everything in one place and in just seconds can access patients' contact info, review previous notes, send a superbill, or populate a CMS form. It's easy to use, but I found I really benefited from the free one-on-one session with the CEO, who showed me new features and answered all my questions. Although they don't have absolutely everything you might want right now (e.g., an Android app), chances are they're working on it. They seem to be a flexible company that's rapidly responding to what clinicians want and need to simplify their practices. So happy with Simple Practice, only wish they had existed when I started out!
