The reminder calls/texts/VM's will be a blessing. Not having to bother with smaller and time-consuming details will help me focus on more projects. This will help me to increase my productivity and income.

Pros

It is very straightforward and easy to use. Ease of scheduling. If I were new to Psychology Today, that perk would have been amazing for starting a new practice.

Cons

The demographic options could be expanded to be more representative and inclusive.

Not only has it made the details of appointment making, billing and note taking easier but the entire running of my practice is now streamlined. You have thought of absolutely everything a private practice therapist would need to know and do, to run a professional and organized practice. I am not a tech savvy person but I have found SimplePractice easy to use and your personal support outstanding. I love having the phone ap as well and receiving my calendar in my email every morning. I am a private practice psychologist and have been looking for a program that was both easy to use and covered all my documentation needs. I love that the program offers progress and psychotherapy note options and offers standardized documentation for intake paperwork. I consistently use the app for setting appointments and quick note-writing, and I have found the software to be intuitive and literally simple to adjust to coming from another EMR system. I highly recommend Simple Practice!

Simple Practice has been wonderful. I just began using it and have no complaints so far. The interface is very easy and user-friendly as are the notes/documents. The only con I have noticed so far is the inability to spell check progress notes, but Simple Practice allows members to submit requests which is a great customer service feature. I would recommend this product!

So far I have had a very good experience using simple practice and have been very happy. I just finished my 30 day trial and have decided to sign up. The program seems very intuitive, and I like that there seems to be a lot of consciousness about the fact that therapists are using it, (not IT people). I love all of the available videos that walk you through the different program functions, making it very user friendly. Customer service has been excellent so far. They have been very responsive to questions and have answered my e-mails promptly. I feel very supported which is important to me. I would highly recommend Simple Practice.

All the other practice management systems were too bulky or had features that were overwhelming as a clinician in a solo practice. Even though there are a few features that would be nice to have, in the short time I've been using Simple Practice, they have already implemented a number of helpful features and the ones I'd really like to see are in the works! I've had the pleasure of speaking with Howard and really liked his philosophy on the product they are providing to clinicians. I would highly recommend Simple Practice to any solo or small group practice looking for a truly "simple" but effective practice management system.

Cost, because I am just starting out on my own and trying to acquire clients, but its competitive to the other programs.

Pros: everything you need at your fingertips, intuitive to use, keeps you up-to-date and on-track, helps you stay organized, takes away the need for an administrative assistant, saves you time and money, HIPPAA compliant, specifically designed for clinicians in private practice, daily reminders, free webinars, free one month trial Cons: None so far. Of 'course I'd love for the cost to be less given that I just started my practice but I am so glad that I found , especially since I'm used to electronic medical record systems at prior jobs. I have already recommended SimplePractice to friends and colleagues.

I recently switched from another online practice management system to Simple Practice. I've found Simple Practice to be much more intuitive, and love that there is an actual app that I can access on the go. It tracks the things I've forgotten so I can go back and fix what's missing! I'm very much looking forward to adding my client intake forms (haven't had time yet) so that I can transition to a paperless office. It's cheaper than the system I was using before as well. I have had a few problems with syncing between my account and the app, but I'm sure it'll get ironed out quickly. Other than that, I am loving it so far!

I just made the transition to private practice and finding Simple Practice helped me feel confident in that decision. Upon research and my trial run, I knew this system would help me run my practice with ease. My clients love the system and say it's easy to access paperwork and love getting text reminders for appointments. There are plenty of tutorials to walk you through each feature and I love how I am able customize paperwork, appointments, billing. I would recommend this system to anyone out there and encourage those thinking about private practice to let Simple Practice help them make the transition fluid and simple!!

I have a second small practice I am doing at my church and this allows me to have an easy way to write notes and keep track of my schedule there. The clients reminders is a highly valuable part of Simple Practice and allows me to know that patients know they have a session scheduled.

Pros

I love that the psychosocial is complete and well written. There are a variety of options when writing progress notes.

Cons

Navigation around the schedule and connecting to the progress notes from the schedule. It is a bit complex to find the way around.

So far my experience has been great.

Pros

I like that the software is user friendly. I just started my own private practice a few months ago and using simple practice has made this transition easier. If there is something I don't know how to do, I can look up step by step how to's or watch the videos to help me learn how to use the functions.

Cons

I'm still early in my use of this software so I don't have many cons. Maybe the fact that the pricing went up $10?

I love Simple Practice. I am brand new to private practice and SP has made the transition so much smoother and easier than I ever imagined possible. It has been so easy to send my new clients documents, bill, and keep track of payments, and write notes all in one streamlined, intuitive program. I looked at other programs before trying SP and none seemed to have the ease of interface that SP has. There have been a few questions along the way, but the support team has returned my inquiries right away and even followed up to see if my issue was resolved when I did not respond one time. I wold highly recommend this program.

Pros

I like the is a one stop shop. The company also seems to respond to customer requests and keep up with trends in the clinical industry.

Cons

Too soon to know. Still on our first few dates. I had to play around with the notes and intake forms longer than I'd like. But eventually I was able to figure it out and I'm very satisfied with my customized template.

Pros

I really like the easy to use calendar that allows clients to be notified of appointments via text and/or email. I also like the intake process in which clients can auto-sign documents and all documents can be personalized. I especially like the ability to set up auto-pay so that I no longer have to do this at the end of each work day.

Cons

I wish that you could customize the demographic page to include certain questions that are not currently present (i.e. religious preference, medications, and previous counseling).
