The company customer service is extremely great. They write clear instructions/user manuals and are prompt and professional anytime I work with them.

Pros

I am not a strong user of the software, I just update the software, manage permissions, etc. However, I always am please with how wonderful the support staff is. So even when I feel like I may get confused or frustrated with the installs or instructions, the support staff is always easy to get a hold of and extremely helpful.

Cons

Nothing that I can speak to currently. I have had no complaints from the end users.

Overall, this product has been a very important tool to help identify, manage, and report on risks--especially in an environment where managing umpteen spreadsheet-based risk registers is no longer practical for consistency of data capture, meaningful analysis and aggregate reporting.

Pros

The product is easy to use with minimal training. The licensing is very inexpensive compared to much more complex competing products. While there are concurrent user license limitations, the reality is that no where near all of the users are concurrently logged into the tool, so in effect, the number of users is practically unlimited and this is important for risk ownership, updating risks, system-generated emails, etc. There is immediate support of the product by the vendor.

Cons

The product does not have customizable fields, i.e., creation and use of additional fields specific to our environment. The product could have more robust searching and filtering for reports.

Reasons for choosing Risk Radar

Ease of use and pricing (especially since the licensing is not based on users per se).
