MasterVision

"I've been using this software since 2003 and wouldn't THINK about switching!"

Overall: Mastervision is a wonderful program. It has become the hub of our operations. There are so many functions it has that you can virtually run your entire school operations through it---we only use about 40% of its true capabilities. It helps us keep accurate stats and allows us to run all types of reports that we can use to help us understand where our weak spots are, as well as helping us to keep track of daily attendance counts and active student counts. The reports are one of the best features of the system, and Mr. Landrum is constantly adding to it and tweaking its performance. Do yourself a favor and try Mastervision for a month. You'll find that it's the best money you've ever spent on a software program for your business---and if you have problems or need assistance, Mr. Landrum is right there, to personally assist you---rather than some guy with a thick accent who's sitting next to 50 other guys with thick accents, half-way around the world. I couldn't imagine running my school without it.

"Disappointing offering at a high price"

Overall: There were few benefits other than a neat and tidy relational database to manage students with. Setup was very easy.

Pros: Ease of setup. Download was quick and trouble-free, and the setup procedure was painless. It was about the most simple of all comparable setups.

Cons: This software appeared to be very dated and looked like an old Microsoft Access based program. The screens were not visually appealing and for the price ticket there was little that appeared special. Admittedly, I did not invest a lot of time as the first few screens told me that I had seen much better offerings from other vendors, and at a lower price ticket.
