Its been quite good. It takes a bit of time to get investors on it, but once they are all on it, makes it easier to track questions.

Pros

Easy to manage investor questions and allow to upload documents related to the question.It also allows us to allocate specific documents and store them to the related questions

Cons

I think as a first time user, it can be quite hard to grasp everything especially all the high level technical controls.

I recently signed up for one more account's storage service offered by and I am extremely satisfied with my experience so far. My overall experience is good. Of course there are still improvement points and some of the issues could be misuse from my side but, in general, I would recommend to everyone.

Pros

is very easy to use and intuitive. The features I love the most are bulk upload and import folder structure, which saves so much time. I also really appreciate their support whenever you have questions and the security settings, which are very self explanatory.

Cons

The naming of documents could be done better. I personally do not like when I download the document and it comes with the number of the folder/subfolder.Also, everytime I ask clients to upload documents, they do not know how to add it to a folder that is already there and I always need to reclass them. This is something that I have experienced as well, since I don't think it is straightforward.

Good experience on staff interaction. Platform is straightforward, but some further optionality would be appreciated on the visuals as described above. Also on the functionalities, think there is room for improvement as mentioned above.

Pros

Thoroughly enjoyed the communication with the help desk chat function. People were eager to help and always found a solution. Understand there were a lot of request on our end, and the team kept good performance throughout these issues that surged during our VDR process. Also available and communicative over the phone, which is appreciated.

Cons

I found the general setup structure on the index quite cumbersome. On our end we were trying to have a base unredacted VDR index and another one that was redacted and renamed. Would be helpful to have a staging folder option under the Manage > Documents options on the left hand side of the screen. On another topic, it would also be helpful to have a document counter on the top left of the screen when you select all document within a folder, for instance.

It is extremely intuitive and is able to do everything I want to do simply. That is surprisingly extremely rare and a real joy to use.

has provided a great platform for our business in Investment Banking. The great functionality and accessibility makes our jobs much easier and it is definitely my preferred VDR!

Pros

I like the ease of use of the platform. Compared with other VDR's I've used, provides the best interface and functionality and is clearly developed with the end-users in mind.

Cons

I think it would be helpful to be able to group Q&A viewers into different teams e.g. FDD, Tax etc. by company) to facilitate sending Q&A responses to only the appropriate team members.

Like I stated in the title, this is a really good VDR which is a few touch-ups away from being something truly extraordinary.

Pros

gets all of the basics one needs in a dataroom, and then goes one up on the following:1. The ease of numbering and arranging large amounts files and folders imported into the dataroom (the numbering function is very impressive and saves a lot of time)2. The different stakeholder management features as an administrator - the ease of allocating different levels of access and communicating with different stakeholders (client, buyside and sell side) is second to non

1\. The moving of large amounts of files from the IRL to the actual- and the difficulty in moving folders (as one has to select the individual files without knowing which folder they are in)2. The counter-intuitiveness of the Q&A function and various levels of uploads and approvals. I understand why its there (very critical) but would have appreciated it to have been more user friendly

Pros

My experience with has been awesome, I started with them when I first came into the M&A world and during that time, I have tried a couple of others (to test the market / BCP etc) but I keep coming back to Ansarada. Great pricing structure, service and support coupled with a product that is simply to use yet complex enough to handle all transaction sizes and requirements. Also, they don’t sit still, even with the best product on the market they still strive to do more, improve features, expand use …. When a company operates like that its hard to trust anyone else.

Cons

Nothing I could think of. always hits the mark

My overall experience was very good, particularly when compared to other vendors.

Pros

makes the VDR process straightforward and intuitive. Other VDRs have arduous steps that make the task of maneuvering a data room unpleasant. For example, they offer easy to use redacting that allow you to quickly redact in the Ansarada application.

Cons

It would be great if there was a way to redact across files without having to open up each individual file. For example, if I am uploading 100 customer agreements, if I could choose to redact a certain name or address across all of the files, it would save a lot of redundant work.

Overall, it is a well written application and is an easy to use one.

Pros

Easy to us, an intuitive and friendly user interface.

Cons

I used when I worked on bids. Not sure whether this was an administrator issue or not, however, there was a question that needed to provide an answer for on two different dates. We have found that once the answer to the question was provided for the first time, the second time there was no button to submit the answer available on the page and we had to find a work around to do it.

Cons

For the Q&A, the sequence of questions could be confusing if the other party does bulk uploading of questions as the question IDs are on random basis instead of numerical order.

Ease of use. For someone who spends a lot of time in datarooms, ease of use is critical from a user perspective. is intuitive and the customer service team is always very quick to respond.

Cons

The challenge with datarooms is getting buy-in from management teams. I appreciate that has decent functionality to do Q&A through email, but it is tough to pull clients away from spreadsheets and sending Q&A in the body of emails, rather than through the platform itself. Anything Ansarada could do to help with the education process would be great.

I like the watermarking feature and the level of depth you can go into security settings for individuals users and teams.

Cons

As a smaller M&A advisor, we pretty much exclusively use Ansarda as a VDR for our sell-side clients. The process begins with the buyer (& their DD providers) sending us info request lists. We then upload documents to and index them according to the IRL. Today, we don't use the workflow function as it seems like an unnecessary step of adding and updating if the buyer can't see it. However, I think we would use it more if it was a buy-side facing function whereby we or the buyer could add their IRL to the workflow. We, as the sell-side, could then populate this with the requested documents - i.e the workflow being the document index.

It was a great experience. We have used intralinks previously and it is MUCH easier to navigate and coordinate. I am very happy to have a phone call with someone to share my teams ideas. However overall we loved it!

Pros

I love the ease of use and the online help pages. Really saved having to watch long YouTube clips or call up (like intralinks!)

Cons

Sometimes it was challenging and long to see what had happened to the data room. We had many buyer teams and a large internal and found the activity data difficult to use in the sense of seeing what was relevant. It would be fantastic if could develop a activity home page which shows activity of members in chronological order. (Almost like a social media feed...) I remember having a team member upload one document during the sales process and having to click on every person that had logged in to see if they had looked at it! (At our peak we had 15-20 buyer teams and it was a long process) I was also required to make a “weekly report of activity” and I found myself effectively having to make one manually in excel. Would be great if they could improve the functionality of reporting.
