The system was easy to deploy and use. I will use iDeals the next time I need a VDR. Pros Extremely easy to get started and set up our VDR. The customer service is unparalleled. Cons If there is anything I can critique it is using the access privileges feature, which is a bit less intuitive than other features of iDeals. The fact that the counterparties can easly understand the tools and move forward with the work is extremely helpful. Cons So far, I haven't had any complaints about iDeals. The software is being very helpful. Switched from [Intralinks VDRPro](https://www.capterra.com/p/131416/Intralinks-Virtual-Data-Room/) Intralinks is not very friendly which was being a problem when dealing with multiples counterparties. Pros User-friendly, easy to use and custom according to your need, very easy to upload files in the hierarchy you wish to have, easy to add users, grant them permissions and view reports about their activities. Cons For specific report types, I sometimes needed their customer support services since I did not understand how to generate them, but they responded quickly so eventually I managed to solve the issue. Cons The lack of capacity to replicate the same file on multiple folders. Whenever both the audit firms asked for the same file, i had to duplicate it on the VDR. As the charging is based (among others) in memory usage, this felt like cheating. Also, the inhearitance of permisions between folders, subdirectories and files felt inconsistent and generated some trouble to the deal. Review Source FB Frantisek B. Pros It was very easy to understand, exactly as succinct as it needed to be. The customer service it came with was brilliant from the set up to time critical troubleshooting. Our biggest worry was that a less popular name would get flagged by firewalls but this wasn't the case. Cons That you had to pay premiums to download all the files on to a stick more than twice. I thought this was gimmicky since you could download everything individually anyway, it'd just take more time for the user. Pros The user interface is really good: the fact that it's available in French is also one of the reasons why we have decided to go with iDeals. The customer support is really helpful and assisté me with some little issues that I had had. Cons The pre-established data room index was a bit confusing sometimes and did not always fit quite well so I had to ask for assistance. And that is another thing that can be improved possibility to make changes to data room index without relying on customer support. Besides that, the data room was quite easy to use and initiative. Make sure to request a demo from them if you are new to VDRs in general. Liepaja Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Powerful features under the hood" April 4, 2018 5.0 Our company first selected another provider, but then we had to switch because of a critical feature which was missing there. So I was in a bit of a rush during the data room set up. To my surprise, the uploading didn't take much of my time and energy. I just dropped my structure into the uploading screen, and in some 10-15 minutes all my documents were in the data room and in their respective directories. Importing user list was more complicated, I had to create the groups first. But afterwards, the bulk inviting worked just fine. Pros Great support! They don't put you on hold at all, the questions are answered and the staff can even guide you through the process. It was a big help given the urgency of our project. Cons Didn't notice any. Analyst Investment Banking Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Good Data Room" November 24, 2020 4.0 Pros Drag and drop feature was very helpful, easy to move through / navigate the VDR itself once online Cons If I was uploading multiple files from a folder on my personal desktop, I didn't get an error if there was one or a few that didn't upload... made it very difficult to track what was and wasn't uploaded.
