Pros: Performance management is a key feature that allows me to efficiently track and manage my team's performance. Instead of a one-time, resource consuming performance review cycle, Paycom allows me to add notes throughout the year so end-of-year performance reviews become a snap.

We recently implemented Paycom expense which has streamlined submitting and approving team and department expenses. A key feature is the ability to create expense templates for monthly recurring expenses, saving valuable time and energy.

Benefits management simplifies what could be a complex process to research, understand, and enroll in company sponsored benefits. In particular, a single dashboard displays all of your employee benefits making it easy to find what you're looking for and make changes along the way.

Cons: We've recently tapped into Paycom's My Learning module. I'd like to see an investment in content development areas like security and compliance to further leverage Paycom as the main source for employee training.

Paycom's UI design and navigation feels outdated compared to similar software.

Overall: Paycom is a wonderful tool for small to medium organizations looking for a single system to manage Human Resources related tasks and processes. Employees spend less time managing their time, information, and benefits which results in more productivity. Performance management has become more visible organization-wide

Comments: The sales team is incredible (both our rep and the area manager). They are responsive and go above and beyond to help find answers. However, the system they are selling is practically an ADP version 1.5 type system. Paycom advertises things like editable candidate correspondence, but doesn't deliver. Templates that can't be changed on the fly don't count. The development team has a lot of work ahead of them to catch up to the advertised features. I will give credit where it's due. After my initial review, several people from Paycom have stepped up and been more engaged and tried to reset expectations. The experience is getting better.

Pros: Once you get all of your ATS templates created and loaded (and as long as you don't ever make any changes) posting openings is very easy. Tracking and moving applicants is easy, and straight forward. The sales team has stepped back in to help where the transition team has fallen short.

Cons: Set-up is a full-time under-taking, had we known how much of it was "do-it-yourself", or just figure it out as you go, we would have brought in a couple temps to just do data entry. Paycom did not help and each time the Paycom team made an "update" it disrupted previous entries and led to hours of checks and corrections. We figured out that it would have been easier and taken less time to have just entered each of our 200 employees individually as new employees. The system is cumbersome and clunky, meaning you have to go through several repetitive steps to do almost anything in a candidate/employee file. Changes in employee information must be entered in multiple (duplicate) fields on multiple pages to keep each file accurate. The customer service team (the initial transition help-line team) has been less than helpful, if we're lucky we get a screenshot of where to go fix the problems ourselves. The implementation team (on-site) has tried to help but is not always clear or patient. People have different learning styles and implementation has to be more flexible to the student.

Pros: The ease of use is the single best quality of this company. My payroll processing time has never been as effiecent or organized in my 18 years of having my business. I am on the site weekly and am very glad that I can process my payroll in a few minutes. I have w2 employee's and 1099 contractors that I pay through my company. Having a tool that is easy saves me time and thus saves me money. The greatest asset that Paycom offers is their friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would be lost without my specialist. She is amazing. Once the payroll is complete, the reports are very easy to use and run so that I can keep track of all my expenses.

Cons: Based on my experience over the last 5 years of using Paycom, my specialist ensures that I have no cons associated with my service. She is great.

Overall: None of the payroll companies I have used in the past even compare to Paycom. The dedicated specialist is very important to me and I can speak to them with any questions. With the other companies, my payroll account never seemed to be important or big enough with them and I was never able to get the help I needed. With that said, this made a situation where I had to figure everything out and make sure my filings were correct and on the correct forms. One thing I do not want to do is get messed up with payroll taxes. The other companies didn't seem to care if I was compliant and I never had a good relationship to rely on with their specialists. The costs associated with Paycom are also better than any of the above listed companies. Overall, Paycom is my HR Department and I am very satisfied.

Comments: Paycom isn't a bad choice if your company is small, but if you have more than 200 employees I would recommend seeing other options.

Pros: There are a lot of features offered though Paycom that are helpful, like the ACA Dashboard, and can definitely decrease the amount of time spent on certain projects. Paycom is constantly updating and striving to improve their system, and making sure their clients are updated on government policies.

Cons: Unfortunately the reporting system is limited and not exactly intuitive. There have been times when there was something incorrect in the coding that delayed certain projects. When we had an issue (pressing or not), there were times we didn't hear back from the customer support for a long time, even after follow - up emails/phone calls. The fees associated with certain procedures seemed a little steep as well, especially when compared to other payroll providers.

Pros: It tracks my time, allows me to access HR documents, shows what vacation/sick/holiday time I have both taken and accrued, and gets me paid. It gets the job done and is, for the most part, usable for me without too many missteps.

Cons: The interface could use an upgrade, and in fact the new updates are a little worse, adding to the number of clicks I need to navigate through in order to get to the page I want. I am technically an hourly employee and add my hours at the end of each day - however, I work on a lot of different projects, and adding each project I worked on, individually, one project at a time, often takes up to 15 minutes of my day! Adding hours this way is extremely clunky and it's also easy for me to get it "wrong" by missing the date or notes field and then having to re-do my timesheet.

Pros: Paycom is excellent. I work with 4 different companies and i am able to manage all four separate companies from the same log-in. It lets you toggle between companies which makes my time card editing and approving process go by so much faster! I also LOVE the customer service. I have a designated agent whom I can call directly if i have any issues and she is quick to help out in any way she can. Additionally, the W2s are sent to ou via fedex all ready to go. SO easy to deal with during tax season

Cons: My only gripe with paycom would be that we seem to consistently have an issue with a certain tax being taken from each employees check and paid forward to the state. In Oregon there is a Trimet tax and paycom seems to have a hard time getting that taken care of. However, through many calls with our agent, we were able to (hopefully) get this problem solved. Overall, a minor issue when I consider the many benefits of working with paycom.

Overall: As stated previously, toggling between my 4 companies saves me a lot of time. We also have a lot of employees that work out on the field and having a mobile app for those employees has been a big help.

Pros: For the price, its a great alternative to the big box companies offering their HRIS platforms. Their payroll, benefits administration, documents facilitation, etc is excellent. This product is great if you are looking to pull your company out of the stone age as we have. We especially like the electronic new hire paperwork option.

Cons: Talent Management portal sometimes lacks the applicant flow over other ATS platforms. There are some quirks about the system (as all systems have it) where you can't delete duplicate profiles, limitations with dynamic access groups for managers, etc. But they are always improving.

Overall: This has allowed us to simply our new hire onboarding dramatically. Additionally, it allows us to significantly cut down on the paperwork surrounding our employees as all forms can be electronically signed and saved in the system.

Pros: For Payroll, the cost of this service is better than other platforms for a business less than 200 employees. It's easy for our employees to use on their phone for clocking in and out and managers find it easy to approve time bi-weekly.

For the ATS, it really cuts down on double entry throughout the recruiting process. Fairly simply user interface that really extends a user's access to their talent acquisition. Customer service has also been great with our rep coming into our office on a somewhat regular basis. You don't see that kind of attention for a software provider.

Cons: While this isn't the case for just Paycom's ATS, you are unable to manually enter a applicant into the system from the recruiter dashboard. It can only handle applicants who apply online either through a job board or your website. They offer an API but it's priced so that you can't justify it.

On the Payroll side, I personally don't have any issues with the system. Maybe not having more self service tools? We use IP based time management and you have to call them directly to update those IP addresses.

Pros: Paycom is much easier to use than other HR software I have used and the Paycom team always keeps our HR/Payroll department in the know on important changes and enhancements. They send out monthly product updates that truly do make life easier! They don't leave you wondering what happened, they are great with communicating when something will change. They always take into consideration when clients recommend system enhancements. Paycom is ever evolving for the better!

Cons: The only thing I would like to see changed about the Paycom system, is an easier way to track employee changes by a specific time period. A previous HR software I used created different "versions" of an employees profile based on when their employee status, job title, pay rate, or other major changed occurred rather than feeling like you are "overwriting" history (even though you can pull an audit report, I just wish there was a more convenient way to view the changes).

Comments: In general I have found the staff does not know their product or their customer. If you need anything customized, their system can't handle it. Also, any suggestions for product improvement go into a mysterious queue and are never acted upon. I would recommend any system BESIDES Paycom

Pros: None. This was absolutely the worst business decision we have ever made. We purchased this product with the hopes of having an all-in-one solution to our HR and Payroll needs. Instead what we have is a product that does not do what it was sold to do.

Cons: This product does not work as advertised. Everything is a workaround, rather than working the way it was promised to when we were being sold the product. On top of that, the billing is completely unclear and despite that fact that we were told "we don't nickel and dime you," we are being nickel and dimed at every turn. The costs are much higher than anticipated and the product is subpar. They also have some clear compliance issues that therefore are making us as a company worry about our compliance with state rules and regulations.

Pros: Paycom makes managing employee files, onboarding employees, payroll, and benefit administration so much easier than the systems we were using in the past.

Paycom also has excellent customer service, providing me with a dedicated rep that I can call anytime.

Cons: Not a fan of the Talent Acquisition or Talent Management Module. Both of these modules need major updates to be competitive with other software systems. The Talent Acquisition module (Applicant Tracking) would take months and months to build out when our current system takes minutes. The Talent Management Module isn't able to be as customized as we need it to be and doesn't provide great reporting options.

Overall: -Eliminated paper processes

Pros: Robust Reporting Benefit Module is easy to use. As a client, you can manage your own benefit plans with just a few clicks of the mouse. Payroll budgeting tool allows a budget to be set, managers can request the increase by individual. You can get as intricate with this as you'd like.

Cons: There are a few simple things that your assigned payroll specialist needs to be involved in that seem silly: - You can't delete a custom report that you created, you have to email your payroll rep to remove this. lame. - You can't void a manual check that you printed, you have to email your payroll rep to void this. lame. The good news is that the payroll specialist teams are responsive, compared to other HRIS platforms I have used.

Comments: Our most valuable asset are our employees. For a payroll and benefits administrator, Paycom puts customer first in taking care of employees with efficiency and protects our business in the ever-changing world of government regulations and taxes. The employees love Paycom because they have access to their account 24/7 for their own peace of mind as well as great tools such as vacation requests and proof of income verification when they are making exciting life changes such as buying a car or house.

Thankfully our payroll taxes, healthcare regulations, and complicated government reporting is all handled by Paycom, providing the assurance that our business is 100% compliant.

With Paycom, doing payroll and implementing benefits such as vacation accruals, pension plan contributions, and health benefits is very simple to administer freeing up time to focus on our organization's growth.

When adding a new feature or benefit, Paycom's customer service is amazing! Our professional account representative is friendly, helpful and efficient. Paycom is also continually providing great training and updates on new features that are available. In a quick minute or two, I have learned valuable information on how Paycom is doing, even more, to stay ahead of client's needs and wants by continuing to be innovative and an invaluable resource. Paycom has been the best company decision for us!

Pros: report writing is good. Fairly easy online interface. They are very nice before implementation and express confidence before things get going. I think the employees are good, but the management systems at Paycom do not allow the people to really take care of the customers.

Cons: Sold us things which do not work For us, the system did not work well. We pay commissions but in Paycom the sales numbers count as hours. So we had inaccurate hours for empployees Major problems with ACA data not updating as it should. They did not take accountability for setting up the W2s correctly.

Pros: What I like most about this software is that it is easy to use. It provides a tutorial if you have any questions. It is easy to request time off as an employee but also approve my team members time off, and edit their time cards if needed. The app is also great because if someone forgets to approve their time card, it can be done from home. I also really like that I can view my paystubs as well with just a click. Paycom is a very proficient software and I would recommend it for businesses.

Cons: The thing I like least about Paycom is the length of time it takes to log in. It almost always looks like I am late for my position because it takes time to answer the questions to log in. I realize they are for security but I would like the process to be a little smoother perhaps by not as many questions.

Comments: Our current support team and Rep are fantastic!

Pros: Ease of use. The software is very intuitive and requires very little training time before someone can begin to navigate and begin to use it effectively. This is especially important with a broad user base who doesn't use the system regularly. Also, price is very reasonable.

Cons: Features are limited so it is often very restrictive, allowing for little to no customization where needed.

Pros: It is very hard for me to say what I like the MOST about this software. We went from 27 total employees to 62 in a matter of about 6 weeks. As a one-person payroll/HR department, Paycom helped to make my life so much easier. Paycom does so much for me.

1. My dedicated specialist is very patient. He is always helpful and knowledgeable.

2. We are able to assign and track our employees' training here.

3. We are able to store all of our employees' documents within the system.

Having Paycom has been a huge help to me. I highly recommend that you try it!

Cons: The thing that I like the least is trying to decipher the reporting process. Some of the reports are easy for me to figure out and some are harder to try and decide how to get the information that you want.

Pros: The software/website is very easy to use and they are always providing updates to improve and further simplify the user-experience. For a nonprofit organization like ours, the range of capabilities they provide is limitless, allowing us to generate detailed reports, create basic and intensive staff development trainings, implement mileage reimbursement reports, manage information on health benefits, and so much more.

Overall: The software is very easy to use and they are always providing updates to improve and further simplify the user-experience. Customer Service has been an issue we've had in the past, but this has since been addressed, as we were recently provided with a representative who is more hands-on and attentive to our very specific needs.

Pros: I liked that I could access it remotely and that it allowed me to update my w4 info and generate prior paystubs going back 18 months when I needed to provide for a mortgage loan.

Cons: The password questions you answered were never stored. I wrote down the answer to one of my security questions as red bicycle, yet, when I got locked out and it asked me to answer the question it would say wrong answer and make me constantly bug my Human Resourced Dept. to get unlocked.

Pros: I love the ease of payroll processing as well as the benefits programming. The Documents section of the system allows for a complete and easy to access paper trail and historical employment record of all employees. This has save our HR department many man hours because there is no need to shuffle paperwork anymore. I have worked with 10+ systems over the last 22 years and this is one that I would recommend to anyone

Cons: The reporting function is very good except on the paid time off accrual buckets. I would like to see the accrual balances easier to read and understand for the employees

Comments: There are pieces to this HRIS that have some great ease of use, self explanatory, and great functionality. This is a really good company and most of the applications within the product are great. Just remember as with most of these software's they will all have the same functionalities, it is just a matter of how you get from A-Z that may change and you must be open to that. If you want customization, then you will have to pay for that.

Pros: A good system, especially if you are converting from full paper trails to electronic. You are able to pick and choose different applications with the system to use. Single sign on for Administrators and Management. You always know what is coming in the enhancement releases.

Cons: Under Talent Management, the review application had been the bane of my existence. While it does have some great features, there have been major problems for us over the past 5 years. I don't believe they have handled their growth very well. I have an assigned representative, but I am only to speak with him about 50% of the time I call in for assistance.

Comments: Implementation team is young and inexperienced to the real world. The system lay out was done incorrectly and now reports generated by system is absolutely useless to the company. The answer was you can write what you want yourself. There was no communication when set up was done with how information from system is generated to allow THE CUSTOMER the choice of layout. Now have to do manual reporting to government agencies that did not have to do prior. I feel like we have dealt with a used car salesman. Watch your invoice - we have had some major billing issues, and after 3 payroll runs the bill is still incorrect and I have been waiting for days for an explanation of the delay in correction.

Pros: Ease/order of entry. Employee Side Sample Paystub nice feature. Package is pleasing to the eye. Proceed with caution!

Cons: Lack of system ability to generate and distribute payroll reports automatically. All the hidden costs that are not included in original quote. Slow response to issues. Recommended Push Reporting to automate reporting. Failed to mention push reporting does not allow bi-weekly reporting - the payroll here is BI-WEEKLY! Can only generate reports daily, weekly or monthly.

Pros: ease of use -- usable anywhere. We have used PAYCOM for more than nearly 20 years -- have never regretted it. We are a small non-profit and this service makes it easier for everyone from a small business to a large corporation.

Cons: The log-in process seems to trip new employees up and I am hoping it can go to facial recognition soon so that it is easier for employees and employers.

Pros: Paycom is sooo much better than what we had before. It's night and day difference from our old provider. The ability to customize the fields and criteria that we need for our payroll and recruiting is incredible. Their customer service is top notch. There's nothing they aren't willing to do for their customers. I'm blown away!

Oh, it's really easy for your employees to log in to their Self-Service platform. There they can do a number of things such as: update tax information, print paystubs, update personal information, etc.

Cons: Absolutely nothing! I can't say anything bad about Paycom. They have exceed my expectations. We still get compliments and rave reviews from our employees when they log in. Great product all around.

Pros: Paycom is an intuitive system, so new employees and supervisors get up to speed on it quickly. The company is responsive to client feedback. We have seen many improvements in the 5 years we have been using it. Customer support and our account rep are helpful and responsive.

Cons: Adding features beyond payroll and applicant tracking can get expensive because of the per employee per month fees for an organization where 90% of employees are part-time, and many are working only a few hours per week.

Comments: We took two years to make a final decision on which payroll service provider we would select next, I cannot tell you how patient and understanding Paycom was. They were not pushy at all and just presented us with the facts. I have been processing payroll for 22 years and I have to say this was the easiest of the five payroll implementations I have done over the course of my career. Paycom took the driver seat and made this experience way easier than I ever planned or expected, so much to the point we just knew our first payroll would be a failure and bomb out but that couldn't be further from the truth. To our amazement and surprise everything they told us happened just as they said it would. When my team would have meetings to discuss implementation we would say "this just seems to easy" "something must be missing" and my favorite is "just wait until we process our first payroll". I have now processed three payrolls and they were flawless. Our Transition Specialist was amazing, he was on site for two full days during our first payroll and has been on site at least one day during our other two processing's. I cannot say enough good things about Paycom and the team we have worked with. It is really "live" and all in one system. We were able to replace our Recruiting/Applicant Tracking and Performance Review system in addition to just our HRIS/Payroll System. Now everything is one place. AMAZING. Like every new system you have to get use to their processes but once you do it is so user friendly and easy to use. Even our employees like Paycom as we are self-service driven. I strongly recommend Paycom to anyone looking for a Payroll Service Provider. Danny H.

Cons: The only con is learning a new system and having to give up our Transition Specialist and Dedicated Payroll Specialist during the few payrolls. But our permanent team will be just as great!

Comments: Very happy to strongly recommend Paycom. They have a great product, great customer care and at a very good value. We evaluated 10 other HRIS systems with Payroll and are glad we chose the right company.

Pros: Complete solution for growing companies with huge functionalities and a system to keep you out of trouble with all the HR and DOL rules etc. Superior customer support. We have been very happy with the very high level of customer support, training and systems work. I have not worked with a vendor before that had this high level of support. They really care and make sure you understand the product well and how to maximize the benefits. Other software vendors we've used for HR as well as other products had nowhere near this level of support.

Cons: Its a very good product. I just want the company to continue to prioritize upgrades based on customer feedback.

Covers a lot of HR functions, but some areas are not straight forward.

Pros: Offers everything that an HR department would need. The ATS system is super helpful and payroll processing went smoothly. Our customer service rep was always available and responsive. He was willing to walk us through the process each step of the way.

Cons: However, the performance management and document creator dashboards were not intuitive. You are not given all of the capabilities you need to have reviews and the document creator seems to be a different language... and is not straight forward...edible, online-edible....who knows! Then you can't edit a document that you need to each year that your work comp policy changes unless you re-create the entire document.

Overall: Simplified and made us a more green business!

Pros: They are constantly making improvements to meet the clients needs. Each moth they send you reminders to review the new changes and have helpful tutorials or you can call your customer service rep to help you.

Pros: Internally it is very friendly and we excellent response time with our designated representative when issues arise. Highly recommend this product for these two important reasons!

Cons: Overall we are very happy but one consistent issue we have is our temps get confused with the language for adding their hours. We consistently have questions regarding what punch and punch pair mean. Only other recommendation we would have is for less steps and tasks for document management.

Pros: I like the simplicity and ability to customize a lot of the fields. I like that Paycom does monthly enhancements to keep things evolving as needs change and changes are recommended by companies that use their product.

Cons: It's almost too simple. It's a pro and a con. I don't like that you can't easily view the history of an employees profile at any given point in time. You can view the change history, but I wish there was a way to create new "pages" of an employees profile that would keep all of the history (pay, job titles, ect) in one place at any given point in time. Our previous payroll company did this. Also tracking trainings is a bit difficult (non-Paycom system trainings).

Cons: There are a couple things that I can not do, like put in more than two hire dates. Sometimes we rehire someone more than twice and I have to create a custom field just to add more hire dates.

Pros: Pretty straightforward once you know how to use it

Information easily available and able to be organized in different ways as needed

Cons: Sometimes the learning curve is a touch high

Occasionally you have to turn to customer support to get a specific document

Overall: We've been using Paycom for at least 6 years and the customer service is EXCELLENT. Yes, there is something of a learning curve to the software, but once you know what to do, its pretty easy. Our accountant has asked for specific things and if I can't figure it out on my own, Paycom's customer service is always available with limited wait times. I've found that the assigned specialist is a huge help and I've never had an issue with any customer service person being unhelpful or lacking knowledge on a subject.

I feel 100% confident our payroll is being done correctly through Paycom - excellent service and I'd recommend it to any small business.

Comments: very broken - to process one transaction you may have to go thru multiple places to complete that task. basic payroll feature of arrears calculation is not available.

Pros: its a user friendly system but there are same flaws on data processing flow and navigation to complete transactions.

Pros: Paycom is user friendly on the client end of the program. It is easy to add in mew employees and access all their information.

Cons: Paycom is not as user friendly froman employee stand point. I have had several issues where I have to reset employees passwords because paycom is asking for security questions that were actually never even entered by the employee

Pros: My company has been using Paycom's services since the late 1990's. They consistently process our payroll correctly and on time. The customer service response is exceptional. It doesn't matter that we are a small company, we still get a dedicated team of specialists that usually respond to all requests within 15 minutes. The software/website is very easy to use and the built in report writer allows for special reports to be generated for things like worker's comp and insurance audits.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind. Been using the software for 19+ years - it does what it's supposed to do. Small companies like ours are treated the same as larger ones. We have a dedicate team that responds quickly and our payroll is processed correctly every time.

Overall: Our payroll process has been streamlined and getting reports is quick and easier

Pros: The ability to house all your information in one system, how user friendly the system is. Once our training was completed the employees required little help in the system. The Customer Service Team was very helpful. As a Manager the ability to track time off request was a great feature for me.

Cons: The only thing I would change would be the logins- As a manager I had to have two logins, one for Management and one as an Employee. It would be nice to be able to navigate under one login

Pros: - User-friendly and intuitive.

- The report center section has a lot of canned reports that can be customized or the user can create their own reports and save them.

- Benefits administration offers the option to the employees to choose their benefits without much interaction with HR. Our employees are empowered.

Overall: Of course, Paycom is not perfect since is a generic system but we always have found a "workaround" solution, if we found an issue.

Pros: Our paycom rep is extremely knowledgeable and usually quick to respond to our needs. Once you know what you are doing in paycom, it is fairly easy to navigate and the functionality is strong.

Cons: If you are a first time user, it is going to take you awhile to get comfortable with Paycom. There are a lot of features available, but not a lot are offered, meaning you have to pay big dollars to really unleash the real potential lying in Paycom.

Pros: Paycom is a very easy platform for administering/managing payroll, benefits, and year end tax forms. User can easily access paystubs, W2's, and benefits information via PC or their mobile app. User friendly for the entire team, and it has saved a lot of time when we process payroll each week. Integrates well with other applications as well.

Cons: Limited features in comparison to other software in this category. Also, the mobile app needs some improvement as it occasionally crashes.

Overall: My overall experience is very positive. As a user, I would highly recommend this software for any small to mid-size organizations.

Comments: Overall, I would never recommend this service to anyone. I have been actively campaigning our company to leave and go to another company that offers better service.

Pros: they give you a unique payroll specialist - see con Their software looks easy - see con You can have separate departments for each employee - see con They offer reports - see con

Cons: the specialist does nothing for you beyond reminding you to do it all their software is not user-friendly, some items require multiple screens to set up like garnishee. Don't ask the specialist to help. You can't set up your own departments and must submit it to be done. You can't have multiple properties and just a single department per employee their reporting system is not intuitive AND some reports are only available for a limited time, no history even

Pros: Paycom has completely eliminated the burden of dealing with payroll taxes. This has been a huge win. The HR tools have transformed us into a completely different organization. Implementation was really easy.

Cons: I'd like to have a single module instead of having to login to 2 different aplications for the user and client experience.

Pros: I like the reporting and customization of fields. It provides me the ability to be able to adapt our HRIS system to the changing needs of the organization. Built in reporting is super handy when conducting audits and managing a large workforce. All in one HRIS system, does basically everything you need.

Cons: Some parts are still underdeveloped and could be improved such as the HR Analytics dashboard and leave administration. Some reporting still seems a little difficult to navigate.

Overall: One stop for all administrative and management information. Customization for a numerous amounts of needs. Great and quick support from back end as well.

Pros: On-boarding functionality, electronic payroll actions for manager, electronic open enrollment for benefit selection.

Cons: Actions would happen in the software, traced back to a Paycom team member with little to no explanation, for example, a deduction code shutting off or getting deleted. The customer support team had a hard time explaining functionality and how to make the system work better for us. Not all of our benefit providers could have a direct feed set up with Paycom due to Paycoms restraints and the applicant tracking system was clunky and not intuitive to even know where a candidate was in the process.

Pros: Ease of use and the Paycom app are only 2 of my favorite things about Paycom. Not only are all the Paycom tools at my fingertips, but its incredibly ease to use.

Cons: This system has really helped revolutionize the way we do things, dont really have any complaints. I appreciate that Paycom is always putting out improvements as well!

Pros: Great employee self-service program. Its a great way to clock your hours and all of the features are extremely easy to use. You can access all of your information online and via their mobile website. Time off requests show your projected PTO amount for the future dates which is great for planning ahead.

Cons: Not a lot to complain about this program. Only thing would be logging in requires a password and last 4 of SSN which adds an extra step to logging in.

Pros: I like how Paycom keeps your log right on the main screen. It helsp to be abel to see when you clocked out so that you can ensure you are on the dot. I also love how it has the app and I can view all of my pay stubs or any other information I need on the go.

Cons: I don't like how if you have vacation time you cant take it in increments, although we are allowed to at work, it doesn't seem to allow you to take that on there. There are a few snags mainly with time off requests that makes Paycom tricky but besides that it is a great program to use.

Comments: We are approximately 6 months into Paycom, and it is still not set up correctly. We have to fight and fight to get them to help us. We have been lied to, sold a product that could not be delivered, promised fabulous customer service (which has not been held to... nice people, but they cannot figure things out). Based on our experience, the only recommendation I would give to prospective customers is RUN from Paycom!

Pros: App is good for employees to make changes to their personal information, see punches, make punch change request, request PTO, etc.

Cons: Very faulty. Reports are not accurate. Random glitches. Does not work well with shift differentials. Cannot see how our system is set up. We find out things are not set up correctly when there are incorrect paychecks. During the first 4 months of running payrolls, it would leave a whole day's of hours off some time cards, others it would add 90+ hours! I would love to be paid 90 additional hours but... Implementation was horrible.

Cons: Really nothing I disliked about the software. I was frustrated with the webinars presented by Paycom as literally none of them worked when I tried to access them. UGH

Pros: Paycom software is easy to use on both the employer and employee side. We enjoy the flexible options which allows us to pick and choose which programs our company will use, and we only have to pay for what we utilize. The customer service support is a great team of courteous people who truly care.

Cons: Paycom has great training videos that go over the software in depth. For quick reference it would be helpful if they incorporated some shorter, topic specific tutorials.

Overall: For small businesses this software is very affordable.

Pros: Paycom's software is easy to use and their customer service is fantastic. There is always a live person there ready to answer all my questions. Having Paycom's service also helps me to perform my job more efficiently as I know payroll will always be done on time and accurately.

We have to allocate staff time across several revenue sources so that we invoice grantees and private funders according to the contracts issued. Labor Allocation allows us to this in a manner that saves me an incredible amount of time.

Cons: We are very pleased with Paycom products and service. At this time we cannot think of any dissatisfaction.

Pros: I can only compare it to what was offered before to employees. We used to be TriNet users. TriNet was very confusing that the customer service left much to desire. In contrast, Paycom is extremely simple, user friendly, and easy to manager. No complaints from employees, great customer service too!

Cons: I don't like that there are certain notifications that don't automatically go away even after they have been completed. It's annoying.

Overall: Overall our rapidly growing business was due for a professional, easy, and affordable tool to manager payroll, benefits, HR related things, etc. and this was perfect.

Pros: The customer service cannot be outdone! Having a dedicated representative gives Paycom an upper hand with customer service.

Comments: I think the idea is there, but they have a lot of fine tuning to make this a successful platform.

Pros: 1. Sales people were great at selling the Paycom system and capabilities! 2. Representatives were friendly

Cons: 1. They royally screwed up on W-2's for all employees outside of WA state. It was quite the debacle and took way too long to correct. Such a sensitive payroll area to get incorrect, that was very distressing for too many of our employees. 2. System was frequently down 3. Cash Requirements and Tax info not available during payroll pre-processing 4. No notifications when reports are ready - must continually refresh or revisit 5. Implementation process was not smooth - many tax account set-up errors, leading to filing errors that in turn took a long time to get corrected 6. Cost is VERY high and does not accurately reflect the level of service or system capabilities

Pros: Paycom's assistance with the payroll process has been invaluable. The system is user friendly and makes it easy to add employees or make changes throughout the year. Paycom streamlines the payroll process and handles our tax rates, tax filings, accruals, and W2's. Processing our payroll takes only minutes and there is always a payroll specialist available to answer questions, either by phone or email. Our payroll has always been processed in a timely and correct manner.

Overall: Easy to use, cost effective and they insure timely remittance of our payroll tax obligations to the correct agencies.

Our payroll specialist has changed several times throughout the time we've been with Paycom. It hasn't caused a problem, just a matter of getting used to working with someone new.

Pros: TokenEx was able to implement this solution in record time without challenge. This complete HCM solution has given our company visibility and the ability manage areas of our business that require attention and detail - and we can do it from anywhere. The value compared to other solutions is not even fair.

Cons: The on-boarding component should be automated, but I think they've got an online form for this now. Problem solved.

Pros: The product is very simple and easy to use. I like that I'm able to easily navigate from my paystubs, to submitted/view PTO and my benefits. I've used several other products like this and I feel like Paycom's has been the easiest to navigate. When you sign in, it takes you right to a menu page that takes over the entire screen - which is great!

Cons: The only con I have is that my username is a long random string of letters and numbers - I would love to be able to manually update it in my profile section so it's easier to remember (and maybe there is a way, I just haven't found it yet).

Overall: With this product, I am able to manage my benefits, PTO and paystubs. It's extremely easy to use!

Pros: Straight forward information. Easy to use and figure out what to do as an employee. Looks nice, but is clean so there's no extra content. App is super useful. Love the login with thumbprint! Always improving, so it's good.

Cons: The Quick Punch needs some help to be even easier but I love that they added this feature. Lots of scrolling.

Overall: Makes clocking in and out easy since we use it every day all the time. Easily go find information about the company and personal info. Requesting PTO is easy and straightforward.

Pros: The employee self serve is easy to navigate however module not offered in other languages as promised.

Cons: Over promised and under performed. You definitely get what you pay for. I would never recommend this HRIS system to anyone. It is inexpensive but we've had several issues with Health insurance, Cobra 401(K). It's not worth the headache. The ONLY way I would recommend is if a company needs a BASIC HR system for time keeping and running basic labor reports.

Pros: Easy to manage once you learn the system. The reporting function works well. It is easy to create customized reports.

Support personnel are great! They are available to either do something for you themselves, or walk you through how to do it. Our support person and her team are easy to talk to, know their customers, and are good at coming up with solutions to questions or issues.

Cons: Manuals are written for somebody who already know how to use Paycom. Manuals need to be written from the perspective of somebody who has never used Paycom.

Pros: For our non-profit organization, this was a big upgrade from our previous system. I have found the system to be extremely easy to navigate when reviewing and approving hours and managing the information of employees I supervise, as well as with managing my own time off requests and paycheck information.

Cons: When requesting time off the system doesn't always seem to give an accurate estimate of the time that will be available by the requested date. I have had to manually total my own accrued time, and that of employees, to figure out if the vacation request is appropriate.

Overall: The software is very easy to navigate. Our management staff and our employees have been very satisfied overall.

Pros: From the employees to our managers, to the systems admins we all agree the system is easy to use! I also love the fact that there is an instruction for just about every function in the system. Tis is super useful when training new supervisors/managers and staff.

Cons: I don't like the fact that the employee orgs are not readily available and built into the system. I see there is a new feature for this and I am currently working through the steps to activate this feature.

Overall: We utilize everything with the exception of the recruiting module...hopefully when our current ATS contract expires we will also move to use this module with Paycom as well.

Pros: Editing time cards is very easy for my employees. Also love that I am able to view my benefits package at any time. Also like that I can log in from anywhere if I need.

Cons: I have not found anything I don't like about the product.

Overall: As an employee, it is easy to use and see all of my benefits, pto, beneficiaries, etc. As a manager, very easy to use and make employee changes if needed.

Pros: Very easy to use and intuitive. Great interface for approving and viewing employees' requests for time off.

Cons: Inability to log and pull reports on employee tardiness and absenteeism.

Pros: Paycom is user-friendly. Technical support is fast and efficient! I've never been on hold with the company very long. When we did the setup they were very helpful and explained things in depth. Anytime I need any help processing or changing something they are always easy to get a hold of!

Cons: There's nothing I really don't like about Paycom. You can change passwords access payroll make any employee changes very easily.

Overall: Paycom will use for daily clock-in clock-out. It keeps track of our vacation time. Did you make any changes on there in regards to taxes and payroll.

Pros: Available options to accomplish HR activities, covers the full compliment of necessary HR task needed to service the employees and company.

Cons: The pace at which things are updated and change can be a bit overwhelming, although this is good because things are always getting better!

Pros: Prior to Paycom, the process of calculating, withholding, paying, and filing payroll taxes was time consuming and stressful. Having Paycom manage payroll taxes lessens this burden and liability.

Cons: Paycom frequently evolves and enhances their product, so the user must stay updated with all features and functionality.

Overall: One specific area which Paycom has provided value to BIS is the Human Resources portion of the solution. Using modules like Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Human Resources, BIS has been able to revolutionize the HR Department and its processes.

Pros: As an employee, I like having access to all of my information when it comes to my pay roll, benefits, clocking in and out, and time off. I like not having to go through an HR department. Under most circumstances, you can even clock in and out from your phone. The place I work won't allow it to happen under a different IP address.

Cons: Sometimes my account loads ridiculously slow or not at all. My coworkers will log in on the same computer and even the one next to me, so I know it's not the computer itself or the wifi. It's made me a minute or two late on the clock at least once a week.

Overall: It's everything I need in one place with easy access. Sometimes it runs slow.

Comments: Keep up the good work. My job keeps getting easier all the time.

Pros: The ease in which I can maneuver between areas in the website. When I am doing payroll I know that everything will be correct. When we set up a new employee, it could not be easier. To navigate within the system I only have to select the area I need to see and that is exactly where I go.

Pros: Customer service is excellent. Modules are customizable and flexible for our business.

Cons: Some modules, performance management, for example, wouldn't work for the way our company does our performance reviews.

Overall: Our company implemented Paycom this past summer and it has made a world's difference for our HR department. The integrated onboarding solution alone has saved our HR department countless hours and the other modules we've implemented (i.e. benefits administration) have been great as well. The customer service that Paycom offers has also been impressive and a welcome change from what we were going through with our previous HRIS/payroll provider.

Comments: If you are a complex company with employees working in multiple states, I wouldn't recommend Paycom.

Pros: single data base system. Supervisor log in/access with ability to set specific parameters per user.

Cons: Time sheet rounding errors between detail and summary. ACA never worked correctly. Tax compliance within the system not at par.

Pros: It took me a while to transfer over to technology. Once a PAYCOM rep came out to visit me & tell me about their services & how using them would add efficiency to my business, I was quick to listen. Having PAYCOM for my payroll service has not only given me time back, but helped report hours correctly. Before, I used to use my CAP to do my payroll. It required a lot of emailing, faxing, phone calls, & trips to the CAP. Those days are no longer!

Cons: I am really impressed with Platform's service, ability to customize, while keeping things affordable.

Overall: Since joining PAYCOM 9 years ago, we've only had wonderful experiences throughout their company

Pros: The system is fairly quick to be updated. They release new updates on a quarterly, if not monthly, basis. Way better than ADP.

Cons: Paycom can be a little behind the times on the updates and features you see in other HRIS products. The built-in ATS integration wasn't good for us.

Comments: Their Team methodically moved our company through on-boarding in what I consider record time. Their people are top notch from sales through go-live, and I can say our Team felt like we received white glove service.

Pros: This software package is complete, easy to use, and is topped off with excellent customer service! We are proud to be a customer.

Cons: The on-boarding process moved very quickly - we would have preferred to fill out forms online based on our timelines. I believe they do this now, so problem solved!

Pros: We have enjoyed utilizing the hiring/on boarding process the software offers. This allows us to keep all employee files online and secure with Paycom. Performance reviews are always difficult not only to track but to evaluate once they are finished. This software simplifies the entire process and even has built in calculators based on those reviews to guide you to a new compensation for each employee. There are many other features we use, and we still don't use everything. This is a very robust product that I would highly recommend.

Pros: As far as the routing payroll, payroll tax, etc. functions, Paycom is as competent as any of the other software out there. The reports are clean and easy to read. Processing is fairly quick and painless.

Cons: The service from this company is horrendous. Even when we reached out to add enhancements, they did not respond promptly. When searching for a new HRIS platform, we inquired as to their product, but they did not even show any interest in presenting to us. Poor.

Pros: It is so easy to put in hours, time and millage as an employee. I am also able to keep track of all my information from my employer.

Cons: There is nothing really negative to say about Paycom.

Overall: I am a daily user of this product and have never had a problem. It allows me to add my hours from anywhere using the mobile app. This has helped me so much in keeping up on hours worked.

Pros: I like the ability to use the mobile app to complete many of the functions that are available on the webpage.

Cons: The mobile app lay is similar to the webpage. At times, it makes selecting menu items a bit difficult because its more for the size of a mouse instead of a finger.

Overall: This is a great alternative to ADP. It offers payroll, benefits, reviews, and covers the spectrum of employment life cycles. Its integration with our benefots administrator is particularly convenient. Starting up we had a fair share of glitches but their team was didoicated and committed to seeing us through to a successful implementation/. We are very pleased with the product and would recommend to other mid sized non-profit organizations.

Pros: It keeps detailed records of payroll information as well as benefits. Our HR department has the capability to upload important documents that all employees can have access to.

Cons: When logged in, the program does not select today's date as the default date for when punching in working hours.
