### "Best Payroll Provider I have Used"

Definitely pleased. It is always a little nerve-racking to change payroll providers. The changeover was definitely easy.

Pros

Definitely a god value for the money. We have not had any issues while using. We are able to run reports we never thought were possible with our old provider. Customer service is always helpful and polite.

Cons

Struggle with some areas like updates to benefits, so large it is hard to figure out how to do certain things.

After our account was accurately set up, paycom was a little easier to use. Needs a better set up process and training.

Cons

When we first started, customer service and the communication and set up process was a bad start. too many representatives changing so often.

### "Enough to get by"

Many troubles with benefits and arrears, making our team have to do the labor that we are paying for within our agreement

Pros

Cons

Too many updates that require you to sit in on webinars multiple times per day and week. No written communication about updates. Don't have time for these.

### "Avoid this HRIS"

My overall experience with Paycom was very poor. Great promises, high hopes that things would be addressed, and never once was anything delivered on.

Pros

The sales people were great!.... The employee mobile application was also enjoyed by my staff and something they felt was easy to navigate.

Cons

Implementation and customer service were atrocious. I'm truly not sure I've ever had a worse experience with a vendor. They set things up improperly - we had spreadsheets sent to them with tax information that was never setup as it should have been - and we spent hours upon hours fixing things because of this. That's just one example of so many things that went wrong.

It has rough at first, but it has gotten better with learning the software and teaching others how to use it. It is a great product.

Pros

I like that employees can clock in and out with ease on their phones, make corrections to their time, manage tax changes, direct deposit changes, and personal information changes. Also, I like that we can go through webinar trainings of the new product features every month.

Cons

I felt that the initial implementation was done so quick that we had a lot of trial and error before understanding some of the components of the software.

### "Game Changer for HR"

Pros

Going on 16 years as a client with Paycom, I appreciate the support and the adaptability their platform provides to our companies. Being a management company, we support our customers on existing providers they have in place, which allows us to compare Paycom with their competitors. We are confident knowing from experience that Paycom is competitive in products and support while providing a user-friendly platform from our entry level employees, to top management.

Cons

I do wish there was better support for QuickBooks Enterprise integrations. We have been able to the General Ledger module to sync successfully.

I was the lead for our implementation. It was alot of work, but new it would be great. It has been an amazing experience and would highly recommend to any employer to use. I love all the trainings offered and my rep is ALWAYS willing to make time for me.

Pros

It's easy to use and understand. The service is amazing and my rep always responds quickly and helps make sure I understand the full process behind what I am trying to accomplish.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. I promote Paycom every chance I get and have been very satisfied with the implementation and long-term care program. There is nothing I do not like about Paycom.

Overall, we have been very pleased with the outcome of switching to Paycom and find that it has created an easier and more efficient workflow.

Pros

The Paycom Specialist assigned to our account is always accessible and quick to respond any time we have a question or concern. The ease of processing payroll sometimes feels almost too simple and having a one stop shop for everything from payroll to recruiting to onboarding, provides a more seamless process in HR. Our associates also love the ability to navigate the tool on their phones through the Employee Self Service portal.

Cons

Would love for more functionality in the accrual categories to define sub-categories of time within buckets like PTO to make tracking for reporting purposes based on state laws a bit easier to navigate.

Love using Paycom! Employees efficiently punch in with department, project, and on-site and off-site status. Employees also have access to posting comments and submit punch request to supervisors before approving their checks.

Pros

The ease of use within both the APP and the online version. Easy of communication with customer support with both email and phone support. Paycom is a great value for money which includes features like reporting employee performances with ease of recruitment for advancements.

Cons

There only thing don't like about Paycom is the reports for Labor Allocation does not include the column with exact dollar amounts of the taxes paid by employer and total of all taxes paid for the labor expenses portion of job costing.

Overall, I would recommend Paycom, they are always doing updates and have a modern outlook! They also have Reps local to us and they come out and show us best practice items regularly.

Pros

I like Paycom's customer service! I like that we have our own customer service representative. I like that we can call day or night and be connected with someone even if it not our direct rep.

Cons

Sometimes you have to change the same thing in multiple places, however I know they are trying to consolidate that.

Excellent! I would highly recommend. The software is very user friendly and intuitive. The reporting section is stellar!

Pros

The ease of implementation! We have approx. 800 employees in several states and the implementation process was fast and furious! Our specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\] , was so easy to work with, helpful in every way, and super responsive. I never felt left out to dry or left to figure things out on my own. We ran a perfect first payroll!

Cons

There was a little bit of a disconnect between our sales rep and our internal team. This caused a little confusion and some lingering setup items.

The implementation and inuitive nature of the software have both been amazing. I'm definitely still learning but very impressed thus far!

Pros

Our implementation team has been incredible. They are so knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. It's been a whirlwind transition for me personally, and I can honestly say it wouldn't have been a success without them. I also think that reporting and some other features in Paycom are far superior to the competition.

Cons

I guess you get what you pay for. Paycom is significantly more expensive than our prior HRIS, and the pricing proposals are somewhat confusing. We had already signed an agreement prior to me joining the company, but I will admit it was difficult to breakdown and understand what our true cost would be.

Paycom excels in customer support from the day-to-day support specialist to the customer relations rep who spends countless hours in person helping to make sure we utilize the system to the fullest extent.

Cons

Paycom had some glitches with tax filing and adjustments for things like the 260E grants, and early on the PPP forms following Covid.

We have had a wonderful experience with the product and the organization. We have received world-class service and ROI.

Pros

Paycom gives my organization a great return on our investment. We receive great support whenever we need anything. The platform and user interface are very responsive and easy for our team members to use. We never run into any issues that they cannot resolve quickly. It gives us the ability to save time through automation, including leave management, access to schedules, and pay data.

Cons

There is really nothing we have found to this point in our 5 years using Paycom that has been an issue for me or my team.

Overall I think Paycom has a robust payroll module and data module along with some other great features that other HCM or HRIS and Payroll systems do not especially with the add in of IWant. There ATS has come along way and other modules keep improving. I think if you start small or mid size company and keep growing with Paycom it will be perfect. As for larger entities it may not be able to check all the boxes for now. I think Paycom is on the right track to keep changing the game.

Pros

Love some of the simple setup of some things such as adding new locations and position management and a couple other things. Customer Support does do it best to try to resolve your issues. If an issue is hit usually can call a rep to get a ticket open with a pretty fast resolve. Also this is a very forgiving system and many things are correctable if someone make a mistake which is such a blessing. IWant has made it an ease of use for the employees and manager so I am thankful for that add on of AI function.

Cons

Though the layout is good it could be great if there wasn't like 2 to 3 way to go to a module or section within the system. Having more then one way to get somewhere seems great but tends to confuse our managers and employees. Would like some improved functionality with effective dating and labor allocations.

Very successful. The modules are very useful and the continued enhancements to them are great. The customer service is always professional and helpful.

Pros

Beti. The payroll dashboard offers great tools to help create a perfect payroll. Payroll Analytics is one of my favorite tools. It is a great way to review, compare, and breakout totals.

Cons

The performance reviews were difficult to navigate through initially. It is not the tool itself that had difficiencies but rather we were trying to conform it to flow the same as our old manual process. Next year we have ideas in place to change our process to better use Performance Management.

### "Best Customer Service in the Industry!"

Overall we are happy with Paycom. It is very easy to process payroll and it is nice that it is an all encompassing platform from applicant tracking to performance management.

Pros

The best part about Paycom is their customer service. Our dedicated support specialist quickly addresses any of our questions and he is very knowledgeable about the product. We also have regular best practice meetings which are always incredibly helpful. Most recently we had a project specialist help us streamline our system even more. This is the best customer service in the market.

Cons

Paycom's learning platform is not easiest to use. I have a best practice meeting scheduled to hopefully help me understand that part of the platform better. Another perk of their customer service :)

We are extremely happy with Paycom and recommend it to any small company. We have been growing and Paycom grows with us, which is great as we need to add products and services.

Pros

We switched from Paylocity a few years ago, Paycom has by far exceeded our expectations. From value for your money, to customer support, east of use, IT bug and issues resolved, they have hands down the best services. Our company is full of non-program friendly company and our employees have not had any issues with the user interface as it is is easy to manager.

Cons

Paycom is a growing company and keeping dedicated customer service agents has proven to be an issue, however, they are working extremely hard at fixing this problem and it is slowly getting better.

### "Easy to Use, Avoiding All Sales Calls... "

Overall, the platform is user-friendly and intuitive, and we've had a very positive experience with our Paycom Specialist, who has been consistently responsive and helpful. That said, some members of our executive team felt that our Client Relations Specialist was overly focused on upselling products, which didn’t align with our priorities. As a smaller organization, we value streamlined solutions over add-ons that don’t fit our current needs.

Pros

Our Paycom Specialist is the best! Nic always responds in a quick and timely manner, and is always helpful.

Cons

We attempted to do a trial run of Beti to explore whether it would be a good fit for our organization. However, instead of a contained trial, the system was fully implemented into our environment, which resulted in several changes that couldn’t be reversed after we decided not to proceed with Beti. This has impacted key workflows—most notably, we’re no longer able to approve salaried employees’ timesheets in the way we previously could, which has led to ongoing complications. Additionally, we were informed that creating an organizational chart requires Beti, which was unexpected and suggests the system lacks flexibility unless we invest in features that may not align with our needs—such as the $15K/year cost for Beti, which ultimately isn’t the right solution for us.

Your success with us is totally tied to our account specialist. I rate my service level at a 10. The Manager On-the-go and employee portals are user friendly. Processing payroll is a breeze with Beti. The report module is one of the better report systems in the industry which makes our HR job easy. The training provided through webinars is very helpful.

Pros

Dedicated account rep customer service is top notch. The payroll processing module is designed well and makes payroll simple. Easy employee management. The benefits module is worth every penny.

Cons

2024 system was programmer heavy and IT mentality, not HR end user mentality. The Help menu needs better search options and the subject organization needs improved by category

### "Paycom review"

My overall experience was good. It allowed me to learn more about how to electronically submit my work hours, requests for sick days and vacation time in a timely manner.

Pros

I liked that the website was organized, structured and less confusing than other pay roll websites. It was easy to navigate and did not have multiple tabs that can confuse users.

Cons

Least of all, I did not like that you could not add multiple hours for days worked all at once because sometimes people forget to put in their hours. It would help if user could edit and resubmit hours if they make mistakes.

They were an organization that worked ok for us and might work better for larger organizations than Providence.

Pros

Paycom had a product that was large enough to fit our needs as a growing church and nonprofit. They had a large support team.

Cons

They would push through system upgrades without proper training. Also, these upgrades weren't helpful to the team.

Overall, I have no problems taking care of weekly/monthly tasks. The system is easy to navigate and find what you are looking for. As a user, I have no major complaints!

Pros

We used this for onboarding, payroll, timecards, general HR features, and I have no complaints. It is easy to use, feature rich, and makes HR tasks easy to handle.

Cons

The cost is prohibitive, but you do get what you pay for. I wish the timecard feature was easier to use,
