### "User friendly - yet powerful."

When my organization switched to Paycom, I was one of the first people to learn how to use the system as a staff trainer. The process was quick and painless, and I was able to use the user-friendly interface to provide knowledge transfer to a wide variety of staff. Personally, I find the interface enjoyable as I manage my own time and benefits. I use the desktop application, as well as the mobile interface - both being simple and easy.

Pros

I have used other payroll/HR/Benefits applications, and Paycom has been the most useful by far. As a middle management end-user, I have found that navigating through the employee and client portals to be simple and efficient, which is something that is quite helpful in our fast-paced environment. As a staff trainer, Paycom is also easy to teach to our front-line staff who have a wide variety of experience with the use of technology.

Cons

I really cannot say that there is anything major that I dislike about the software. A minor aggravation can occur when you login to the application (we do not use a SSO) from a new terminal, and you must answer security questions with perfect syntax, lest you be locked out temporarily.

Pros

I love how easy it is to adjust when a mistake is made during clocking in and out. Since I work on projects with different funding sources, I can easily code my time appropriately to be paid from the proper place. The Paycheck Preview/Approval process is also like nothing I have ever seen in another payroll program. It is nice to know what is exactly coming.

Cons

It is difficult to know when you are getting close to 40 hours and how to determine how much left to work to get as close to 40 as possible.

Pros

I like the fact that I can punch in and out online without any problems. If my time is off because I forgot to clock out or whatever I can go in and adjust those problems. I also like how I can request time off right there on the app.

### "Paycom"

My experience with them have been great. Their representative comes onsite once every few months to discuss any new updates they've made and check to see if we have any questions regarding the software.

Pros

Simplifies the hiring and onboarding process of employees from the moment an application is submitted all the way through their new hire orientation. Allows a manager to send out training, notifications regarding benefits etc. Has the ability to process background checks directly through the software which cost less than other background check companies.

Cons

Wish the candidate tracker and applicant tracker would communicate. You can turn an applicant to a candidate but you cannot turn a candidate to an applicant which makes it pointless to use the candidate tracker. Other than I have no complaints

Paycom seems to have myriad benefits that could keep various areas of HR covered smoothly. Provides an easy-to-use self-employment management gateway that helps workers manage their compensation and benefits online.

Pros

Paycom in one of the strongest financial programs I have used or monitored for visitors. It's also a great money and HR activity system. In turn, you can be clear enough to explore, if you know the procedures somehow. As a user, it is not difficult to log in to the application and application break.

Cons

I don't have many negatives to mention, the agile finances and clock scheduling that I have used to date have worked just fine.

### "Lot's of Features"

Overall I would still recommend Paycom to most people. They are a one-stop solution and are release new features regularly. I just wish they would spend some more time perfecting their existing modules.

Pros

We bought most of the modules and it has improved some of our workflows. The biggest part is our staff actually uses the app which has helped us and removed some of the data updates, like phone changes or direct deposit changes from our managers and HR staff. It also has brought some of our previously separate software into one solution.

Cons

There are a variety of areas that even as the administrator I can't change or see. The modules are designed for normal business practices, however, for a lot of companies, there are often special cases and exceptions to rules. These can be difficult or impossible to do in the system. We have actually rewritten some policies to fit into what the software can do.

### "Highly Efficient Payroll Software"

Pros

Paycom is very user friendly and easy to use. It's easy to see how much leave you have and how much leave you'll accrue by a certain date. I like that it sends you reminders about missing punches, to edit a punch and approve payroll. It's very easy to set up direct deposit and to make changes.

Cons

Some of the reminder emails for managers are redundant.

Everyone is very responsive and responds to you with in 24 hours, although I have honestly never had a response be that slow, they are always faster. There are reports for everything making is much easier for our business to do reporting.

Pros

Paycom is very user friendly, easy to navigate, and the customer service is excellent and very knowledgeable. Paycom wants you to use all there is in their system and continue to teach users how to get the most from the products.

Cons

Sometimes there are issues with staff clocking in for the day, but that is mostly due to internet issues.

Reason for choosing Paycom

Cheaper and our representative spent the time to really show us how it will benefit our business.

### "Love the customer support"

Pros

The fact that our "hire to fire" process is completely seamless in Paycom is a huge win. My dedicated specialist is there with me every step of the way from small questions to big issues. I can rest easy knowing that things will always be resolved timely. The interface is user friendly and Paycom is always making updates to make things even easier.

Cons

I don't think any aspect is necessarily difficult to use with Paycom, but there are a few company specific things that don't flow quite as smoothly in the software as I would like. One example is the PTO for my store employees does not show correctly. We have a very specific policy for them and Paycom can't quite accommodate so we have to train our employees on how to work around this issue.

### "Once the kinks worked out, we've been happy"

Our largest issue has been that Paycom's PTO accrual functioned ONLY according to the process of payroll, which our company's does not (we accrue first of the month, roll over EOY, and tracking/accrual has nothing to do with a pay date). This has hopefully been fixed with new functionality rolled out, but we're still in the process of converting.

Pros

Everything is all in one place, and for the most part does exactly what we need it to do. Paycom is my 4th HRIS implementation, and the on-site support throughout implementation has so far been unmatched. Reporting is relatively easy to figure out, and having a dedicated specialist has meant that anything else we needed has been given to us well. No implementation has been 100% smooth, and there will always be errors in setup and functionality you thought would be there but isn't, but overall it's been good.

Cons

As with any tech company, turnover is insane. Throughout our implementation and post-live support, we have been the 1st or MAYBE the 2nd client these representatives have had. This has meant we were sold products that didn't work as advertised, set up in the system incorrectly, or support has been novice. This has been largely due to unseasoned employees who don't entirely know all of the answers yet. This makes it hard to get things done right the first time.

It’s been great with helping us manage time and PTO, Benefits enrollment, shift coverage and the biggest headache we we’re having managing required training.

Pros

The ease of use and the fact that it appears to be error proof on the user end.

No cons at this time but I will update my review if we experience any.

### "Great experience. good for companies to use."

I appreciated the presentation and the thoroughness that this software provides. i like the app and the payroll aspect of it. It is a great experience and worth consideration for your company.

Pros

I liked the presentation first off. They explained how to use the software thoroughly. There is an app which is a convenient benefit. The payroll tab is super helpful and you can see all your paystubs, print them out or view them as a pdf. When signing up for your account it was helpful that they list all the tasks you need to complete and lets you know your progress. I like the layout and the color scheme.

Cons

It was slightly hard to navigate how to edit clock in times. The need to enter login and password (which can be saved on your computer) then your SSN is excessive. when you want to login quickly this step holds you up as the computer doesn't remember it and constantly wants to update your password to the SSN. cons would be to update your time off or in times, i had to manually enter a reason or when the time needed to be changed. it was a bit inconvenient. with the new payroll system came new clock in computers. you had to can your card, punch clock in/in day then even clock out for break! it was paid but it was timed so there were long lines to clock in due to the length of clocking in time it takes, definitely longer than a swipe. I understand why that measure was put in place but its annoying due to the break times, you don't get a full break because you're waiting in line to clock back in on time.

the sudtomer service is absolutely amazing. We get responses back no longer than and hour. All our questions get answered, or the work through them with us to find the best solutions.

Cons

So far we have nothing that is a downside from switching over.

### "Usable, but not user-friendly"

Pros

It tracks my time, allows me to access HR documents, shows what vacation/sick/holiday time I have both taken and accrued, and gets me paid. It gets the job done and is, for the most part, usable for me without too many missteps.

Cons

The interface could use an upgrade, and in fact the new updates are a little worse, adding to the number of clicks I need to navigate through in order to get to the page I want. I am technically an hourly employee and add my hours at the end of each day - however, I work on a lot of different projects, and adding each project I worked on, individually, one project at a time, often takes up to 15 minutes of my day! Adding hours this way is extremely clunky and it's also easy for me to get it "wrong" by missing the date or notes field and then having to re-do my timesheet.

No historical reporting No option for change reports to pull one or two field items and does not show effective dates System glitches in LMS (when importing external content) - Dashboard does not reflect "percentage complete"; issues with completed courses showing as still needing to be complete despite confirmation Phantom period in Time Off Module Position Management/Org chart has to be manually changed. Position seats are not updated when a PAF is submitted. Applicant Tracking Module is confusing (too many dashboards and the dashboards do not populate the correct data) Can't hide unfilled/unused custom fields Performance Review Module not very dynamic/customizable Survey function not very dynamic/customizable (no logic) No Job Description function/Module 401k changes wont feed to our external vendor Too many individual steps to accomplish one task (i.e. build a check list) In general, the system is not as user friendly / customizable / dynamic as it was sold to us as.

### "Paycom is the Best"

We are able to track our employees time sheets and make sure everyone is working on time for the proper amount of hours

Pros

Using Paycom makes signing in and out of work super easy It has a mobile platform so can be done from your phone Able to request days off and sick days as well as manage how many days you have off Can easily access tax forms when necessary

Cons

If you forget to sign in/out or sign out too early then you cannot fix it yourself you have to add a request and sometimes it is a little cumbersome. Overall however it solves all problems of managing employees time.

### "PAYCOM? We now call in Paycon "

Paid several hundred dollars to implement this software. They didn't pay my taxes timely as stated causing fees and now they are refusing to pay the penalties. Each quarter I get hundreds of dollars in "fees" for taking too long to process payroll (i get 2 day)Every payroll I have to call because something doesn't work and it is over an hour to get it right. It is a huge time suck. Any problems with fees, good luck it is March and I have been waiting for answers since December.

Pros

They are very nice in the beginning

Cons

A whole lot of things but mainly that they nickle and dime you to death. Implementation was supposed to be seamless. I have 7 employees excluding owners and it has been a nightmare

My experience with Paycom, and the experience of all my colleagues and friends who use Paycom, are excellent. It's great to have all my work sections in one place, it saves a lot of time, works, and stress. The mobile platform works very well so you can always monitor work notifications. Overall very happy with the platform, 10/10.

Pros

Paycom is the ideal tool to manage money and human resources in a company, it is a platform that has many options to manage the entire employee payroll, from the platform you can manage the salary, performance, dismissal, and incorporation of workers. The interface is very good, it is understandable and intuitive, in addition, the communication tools between the boss and the worker are very well implemented. Also from Paycom, you can manage the payroll and expenses that the company has within a certain time limit that we can customize. It is a platform that promotes a good atmosphere among employees because there are sections that serve as a forum where workers can interact very easily. In general, Paycom is an excellent platform, highly recommended for all those companies that need to get out of paper management and move to the virtual world.

Cons

Many processes or configurations can become very tedious, the interface lacks optimization in this regard.

Our overall experience is very good in all areas that we use the system.

Pros

The ease of time/payroll management for our internal employees, contract employees and clients are primary benefits to our team. Annual benefits enrollment is a huge plus as well. Not only do we use Paycom as a client, but serve as a vendor to the company as well. I am happy to recommend their cutting edge technology to anyone.
