### "Paycome makes it easy "

Clocking in on mobile is so much faster. It's almost a reward not losing time authenticating on a computer. This is the best I've gotten in experiences with corporate apps.

Pros

What I like the most about this software is the ease of use. I can simply click it, launch it, unlock myself and then choose if I'm clocking in out for lunch/the day in mobile. The interface is super simple and shows you any notifications or anything that HR might have requested from you. Going on from there, you have all the same options as the web based version when you're using it mobile, including managing your time and submitting for time off/vacation. It has your benefits as a readily accessible, easy to get to tab and puts everything right at your finger tips.

Cons

Sometimes it does get stuck. You might have to sign in twice. But that really is it. Once before it double-punched but I was able to quickly fix it.

This has allowed us to simply our new hire onboarding dramatically. Additionally, it allows us to significantly cut down on the paperwork surrounding our employees as all forms can be electronically signed and saved in the system.

Pros

For the price, its a great alternative to the big box companies offering their HRIS platforms. Their payroll, benefits administration, documents facilitation, etc is excellent. This product is great if you are looking to pull your company out of the stone age as we have. We especially like the electronic new hire paperwork option.

Cons

Talent Management portal sometimes lacks the applicant flow over other ATS platforms. There are some quirks about the system (as all systems have it) where you can't delete duplicate profiles, limitations with dynamic access groups for managers, etc. But they are always improving.

### "Ease of Accessing Employee Personnel Information"

Overall it has been a very positive experience. Friendly staff and software is easy to access and use. Even when accessing the employee portal it has been fairly easy.

Pros

I mainly use this to access personnel information for meetings and to keep my \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] informed. The program is easy to navigate, access information, and run reports for groups of employees.

Cons

At first it was confusing to figure out running reports without having to contact someone at paycom but the more you learn about the software the easier it is to figure things out on your own.

We switched to paycom from paychex flex because we thought it would be better but their support personal was awful so we switched back to paychex flex.

Pros

The app was easy to use and it always logged in easily.

Cons

The payroll part of it took our payroll person all day to do payroll.

### "Quality product"

Easy to use. Great for large or small companies.

Pros

The ease for our staff to use Paycom and make time corrections and PTO requests was so valuable! We worked hard to flesh out the learning tools and applicatn tracking, it was very customizable

Cons

Slow to make updates at times. Wish there was a texting feature built into applicant tracking and a better worklist.

### "Perfectly Paycom"

All of employees are benefiting from Paycom, we have heard lots of happy and excited comments. On the company side, it is saving time in all aspects.

Pros

I love that it allows employees the ability to access and change their profiles and be responsible for their timecards. They can always go back and look at previous pay stubs and not have to ask for copies from payroll.

Cons

I would like to see their excel reports look a little more friendly and eye appealing.

Product quality and price as well as ISO Certified. People and support were great.

### "It gets the job done, but could use improvement"

It gets the job done, however, it would not be my first choice.

Pros

This software makes it easy for our team to clock in and out whether they are in office, or out on the field.

Cons

This program works pretty well overall for what we use it for. We have had some issues with our field employees as they are out on different projects and it is sometimes tedious to track which projects the hours should be assigned to, however, our team has figured out a way around that. It also does not allow for vacation time to be taken in less than 8 hour increments.

### "A Game Changer"

I highly recommend it to any organization looking to give their employees easier and more convenient access.

Pros

The user interface is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly. From clocking in and out to accessing pay stubs and tax documents, everything is neatly organized and easy to find. One of the best features is the mobile app. It allows me to manage my time, request time off, and even access HR resources on the go. This flexibility has made a significant difference.

Cons

I cannot think of anything that I did not like about Paycom.

New Leaf wanted to get a better payroll processing solution in place and Paycom delivers that in spades. The employee self service modules will make us more efficient over the long haul.

Pros

Paycom started out as a payroll processing system for New Leaf. Today we are launching the employee self service solutions that will give our agents control over their HR world at our company. The product is very easy to use and has features that cross over all areas of HR solutions.

Cons

The pricing seems on the high side but the solution does deliver on the promises that the sales people make for it. The pricing is complicated and they charge for every solution you launch.

### "Best clock in/out app ever!"

Pros

I have worked with other companies and places that used some really sketchy and troublesome ways to clock in and out. Not paycom. I have not had a single problem with it. And that is not where it ends. You can use it to submit PAFs to give agents raises and change their positions. You can submit vacation requests and punch changes. It is fast and effective.

Cons

I don't believe I have major complaints. The menus on the mobile app could be better and more well designed, but it is nothing that really negatively impacted the usage of the platform.

### "Best HRIS"

Pros

Paycom covers the entire employee life cycle. I can access the system anywhere and all of the employee's information is in one spot. The customer service at Paycom is the best I have ever worked with. The response time to emails, phone calls, etc is so fast and the team I work with is so friendly and helpful. Previous payroll companies we worked with had massive turnover and I knew I would have to explain myself multiple times before someone would be able to help me. Paycom's support team knows myself and my team as well as all of our specific information. I don't have to explain myself or what I'm trying to do in the system. They can usually fix the issue or help me right away. Before Paycom we switched payroll companies every year because we were so dissatisfied. We have now been with Paycom for 4 years and I can't even imagine leaving. Paycom has been able to grow with our company and support us during our growth.

Cons

Anything that hasn't worked for us in the system Paycom has been able to come up with a solution for us. We asked for approval tiers in expense management and Paycom is working on creating this for us right now.

So far things have been great. Our implementation specialist \[sensitive content hidden\] is amazing. The implementation went very smoothly. I was very impressed!

Pros

Functionality - The system does so much! Things like the recruiting and onboarding tools, integrated background checks and I-9 forms and garnishment administration. These were all manual processes before Paycom.

Cons

It can be a little confusing figuring out where things are. I am also not crazy about the position management. It it very confusing to me.

Reason for choosing Paycom

Value and functionality were better than the other options.

Overall I love paycom. The ease of use and customer service is great!

Pros

The setup team was so easy to work with and helped when we got stuck. They really worked with our team to get everything set up the way we need it to work.

Cons

We are still working out a few issues with the implementation team. The team that sold us on all of the functions of Paycom and the implementation team must not have shared notes. There are things that we were looking for that were not set up the way we were told, so are now we are waiting for their team to get things set up correctly. Some of the report features are confusing and difficult to find the right report for what I need.

Greenshades was not user friendly. Customer Support was almost non-existant. There were always errors that we could not get help with. They would fix 1 thing and 4 other things would stop working correctly.

### "Paycom is a Wonderful Tool for HR"

Overall, I think Paycom is a really well designed tool for organizations and HR departments. There are so many capabilities, that most HR functions (open enrollment, payroll, PTO, employee reviews, employee documents, tax documents) can be house in once platform.

Pros

I like the ease of use for Paycom. There is an app that you can download to your phone to update your timecard and review time off requests easily. I also like that you can see what the next paycheck will be once posted. Paycom makes it easy to complete employee reviews as well.

Cons

I don't like how the timecard is hard to update. Sometimes I need to delete the entire timecard and start over when there is an update to be made. That function is not appreciated.

### "Great way to keep track of paychecks"

Pros

I used paycom a few years back while working for a previous company. It was primarily used to clock in and out for work. I really liked how easy it was to use and helpful links were provided for features I had difficulties with. I could also keep track of paychecks, the amount of taxes I was paying, and whether my timesheet had been approved or not among others. Having this online system really came in clutch during the pandemic when we had to switch to online work.

Cons

I'd say I least liked how overwhelming it is to use initially. It took me a few hours of looking around to understand where everything was and how to use it the intended way.

I do not like you have to be in the building before you clock in. It does not always connect and I have to find the right spot in my department to clock in each day.

We have a fairly mobile workforce, so having the Employee Self-Service and Manager on the Go platforms is important. Our employees have ease of use, so they are able to get their payroll information on their phones or tablets. It is easy to set them up - and reset their passwords when they forget them. One feature that I like is the single sign-in for all functions - as other payroll systems have had separate log-ins for time and attendance versus payroll.

Pros

The functions of Paycom mirror other HRIS solutions. We primarily use it for payroll as well as time and attendance, but we are expanding to incorporate other aspects of the platform. The distinguishing factor for Paycom versus other solutions I have used is their service. When I have a question, our dedicated Service Representative is extremely quick to respond (within an hour). If she is not the appropriate person to answer the question, she facilitates the introduction rather than simply telling me to call someone else.

Cons

I haven't had any negative experiences with this software. The platform operates similar to other platforms that I have used, including ADP and Paychex.

### "It does the job"

Overall, the use of Paycom does the job of managing employees time worked and time off. It works better for salaried employees than hourly, as the punch system is tedious and not intuitive. Viewing time off, accruals and paystubs is great. It also is a great tool for annual enrollment of company benefits.

Pros

This software allows you to manage your own and employees' time sheets. I like that it allows for an unlimited number of funding codes, which is necessary when working for non-profit. It easily shows pay stubs, manages benefits, accrued time off and requests. Manager-on-the-go app is great for managing payroll of subordinates.

Cons

Reporting functions are limited and not intuitive. Sign-in process is tedious with extra layers of security which seem excessive. App is not really tailored to a mobile device, and seems to be just the web version fit to a mobile screen. That could use some work. Punches in and out for hourly employees seems over-complicated.

### "New to Paycom"

Very good. The implementation team knew the product very well and responded to questions and emails promptly.

Pros

Great implementation team. Very organized. The system is very intuitive and easy to learn. It has the flexibility to do what we need it to do. Very easy to use report writer.

Cons

We had a very short period of time to get this implementation done, but that was out choice as we had to switch system rather quicky due to the start of the new year. I will give Paycom credit for keeping us on schedule through the entire implementation process.
