I can't wait to switch to another payroll platform.

Pros

When we reviewed the payroll software available, at the time this seemed like the best option. We liked the ease of use the product offered. The UI/UX design needed some help and from what our employees say, its not terrible but its also not great

Cons

The whole implementation process was so quick and left us with many holes in our HR and payroll processes. It was an nightmare resolving these on the backend and their customer service was terrible.

### "Great for Managing Employee Payroll, Benefits & PTO "

With this product, I am able to manage my benefits, PTO and paystubs. It's extremely easy to use!

Pros

The product is very simple and easy to use. I like that I'm able to easily navigate from my paystubs, to submitted/view PTO and my benefits. I've used several other products like this and I feel like Paycom's has been the easiest to navigate. When you sign in, it takes you right to a menu page that takes over the entire screen - which is great!

Cons

The only con I have is that my username is a long random string of letters and numbers - I would love to be able to manually update it in my profile section so it's easier to remember (and maybe there is a way, I just haven't found it yet).

### "Easy to use!"

Makes clocking in and out easy since we use it every day all the time. Easily go find information about the company and personal info. Requesting PTO is easy and straightforward.

Pros

Straight forward information. Easy to use and figure out what to do as an employee. Looks nice, but is clean so there's no extra content. App is super useful. Love the login with thumbprint! Always improving, so it's good.

Cons

The Quick Punch needs some help to be even easier but I love that they added this feature. Lots of scrolling.

Our current support team and Rep are fantastic!

Pros

Ease of use. The software is very intuitive and requires very little training time before someone can begin to navigate and begin to use it effectively. This is especially important with a broad user base who doesn't use the system regularly. Also, price is very reasonable.

Cons

Features are limited so it is often very restrictive, allowing for little to no customization where needed.

I like that it's user friendly. I didn't need help learning the system.

Cons

I don't like when it doesn't save my login info. My username is some long alphanumeric name and I never memorize it because it's so long.

### "Powerful HR software, but not easy to use or implement, and customer service is awful"

Pros

1\. Integrates multiple functions into one system - recruiting, onboarding, HR, payroll processing, benefits, 401(k), etc. 2. Detailed transaction reports with robust customization capabilities.

Cons

1\. Not enough automation. Too many things need to be manually entered. For example, Paycom does not automatically prorate salary in manual final paychecks for employees terminated in the middle of the payroll cycle. 2. There is a lot of lag with data entry, especially in payroll processing. This causes payroll processing to be very time-consuming and prone to errors sometimes. 3. Customer service has been awful, both during implementation (their specialists made a lot of mistakes and didn't double check their imports) and afterwards (not easy to get a response from someone who knows the system).

### "PayCom was an excellent payroll upgrade for our company"

The software is very easy to navigate. Our management staff and our employees have been very satisfied overall.

Pros

For our non-profit organization, this was a big upgrade from our previous system. I have found the system to be extremely easy to navigate when reviewing and approving hours and managing the information of employees I supervise, as well as with managing my own time off requests and paycheck information.

Cons

When requesting time off the system doesn't always seem to give an accurate estimate of the time that will be available by the requested date. I have had to manually total my own accrued time, and that of employees, to figure out if the vacation request is appropriate.

Paycom is better than some alternatives to log hours (such as Paychex and UltiPro), but it’s not a perfect system. However, it is aesthetically pleasing, and the fact that it is easy to update is a definite plus.

Pros

Paycom has an easy-to-use mobile app? and is very easy to understand. It also keeps all of my tax documents in one place, which is very convenient.

Cons

Paycom makes me change my password once every few weeks, which is frustrating. Its auto-populating features also leave something to be desired.

### "Paycom is an all in one system...but not everyone will use it"

I think Paycom helped us consolidate programs, and sheets, and software, and platforms. But we then ran into the issue of people not accepting change and migrating into Paycom.

Pros

I did like that it's all in one. For a very lean HR team it's heaven sent! Having to login to multiple systems is tedious and Paycom bundles everything up.

Cons

There are a lot of clicks - which is anticipated since it does so much! Possibly too much? Out Accounting team was not a fan and that made it difficult for my team to completely utilize.

G/L integration is a bit difficult since you cannot just import into another software so some manipulation is needed

great software to have handy at the ready for any of your financial set up with your employer.

Pros

This software is extremely intuitive and easy to use. login, clock in, clock out. Any information is available to you at any time via App. Everyone I work with who have used this product rarely ever has anything negative to say about it. 4-5 stars every time. During my recent purchase of my house i was able to pull up all my verifyable finatials through the app in a momments notice in just seconds.

Cons

App view vs desktop view is a little different and made it a little difficult for the first 15 minutes. Other than that, there are no cons.

The color scheme and how easy it was to figure out but a lot of it was trial and error, especially on the website

Cons

When you were learning the software; when going through the punch options if you select one (even if you don’t press IN/OUT) it will automatically punch you in/out with that option you select.

The implementation was a lot more painful than I anticipated! The customization was extremely limited (and I don't like that the sales person told us something different). My biggest issue was probably when they asked us to set up whatever overtime we wanted. I told them they were supposed to be the experts and isn't that set by the law not by us? They did not seem to be overly concerned about that which really concerned me.

Pros

We originally went with this software based on numerous recommendations and we liked the look/feel of it. It is great that it is an all in one system and makes things a lot easier!

Cons

I found that the sales person over-promised on the "vast" customization. When it came down to it, there were many things that could not be customized or removed, even if when do not use it.

Pros

ease of use -- usable anywhere. We have used PAYCOM for more than nearly 20 years -- have never regretted it. We are a small non-profit and this service makes it easier for everyone from a small business to a large corporation.

Cons

The log-in process seems to trip new employees up and I am hoping it can go to facial recognition soon so that it is easier for employees and employers.

### "Paycom has your solumtion"

Great experience. Prior to using Paycom we had a payroll service, a benefits service, an HSA/FSA vendors and on boarding was manual, including filling our paper enrollments. I searched and selected Paycom and now everything is in one place. Been using them almost 5 years now.

Pros

consolidation into one package. all payroll and benefits are housed in one location. super easy to use.

Cons

Paycom Specialist are not specialist. if you need information from Tax they ask Tax and get back to you. If you need ACA help they ask that team and get back to you. Needless to say much gets lost in the translation and i would rather speak to the ACA specialist or the Tax specialist. it can take 3 times as long to get an answer.

My overall experience with Paycom has been an excellent one and I will continue to use this app.

Pros

After being inconsistent in monetizing my hours and my income manually in a systematic manner, I was highly recommended to use Paycom. After downloading this application and understanding how to use it, inconsistency was no longer present. This application is easy to use and easy to understand. I am now able to track my hours, view my monthly income before and after tax and also receive direct deposits. It runs very smoothly and every feature is clearly labeled. This application has many more features that I'm yet to explore for better occupation management.

Cons

The cons concerning this app is very minimal. One thing I would like this application to do is to load more faster when viewing my daily income.

Not great not bad just okay

Pros

I liked that it had a mobile app that allowed me to access my paystubs and tax documents from my phone.

Cons

As an employee the app had a lot of issues and constantly had you changing the password. I found that the app had trouble loading and then I would clock in late even though I was in the office on time.

### "Paycom has been a lifesaver!"

Pros

Paycom is much easier to use than other HR software I have used and the Paycom team always keeps our HR/Payroll department in the know on important changes and enhancements. They send out monthly product updates that truly do make life easier! They don't leave you wondering what happened, they are great with communicating when something will change. They always take into consideration when clients recommend system enhancements. Paycom is ever evolving for the better!

Cons

The only thing I would like to see changed about the Paycom system, is an easier way to track employee changes by a specific time period. A previous HR software I used created different "versions" of an employees profile based on when their employee status, job title, pay rate, or other major changed occurred rather than feeling like you are "overwriting" history (even though you can pull an audit report, I just wish there was a more convenient way to view the changes).
