Even better, we've cut down on the time our HR and Benefits Department spends assisting our organization with its intuitive, easy-to-use functionality. The best part is our ability to encourage our organization to use Paycom via the app, so payroll and accruals, and other necessary information is one-touch away in the palm of our hands. Pros What's the most important element of a software your entire organization uses? Their payroll system and Paycom accomplishes that and much more. Paycom is universally seamless to use and navigate. The best part is how intuitive it is to view and manage timecards, request time off, and change employee information...fast and at your fingertips. Cons Paycom has been seamless since our launch about two thirds of a year ago, and there are no cons. This was accomplished by the phenomenal job the Paycom team did to train our organization. Corporate VP Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Incompetent Liars" April 11, 2018 1.0 In general I have found the staff does not know their product or their customer. If you need anything customized, their system can't handle it. Also, any suggestions for product improvement go into a mysterious queue and are never acted upon. I would recommend any system BESIDES Paycom Pros None. This was absolutely the worst business decision we have ever made. We purchased this product with the hopes of having an all-in-one solution to our HR and Payroll needs. Instead what we have is a product that does not do what it was sold to do. Cons This product does not work as advertised. Everything is a workaround, rather than working the way it was promised to when we were being sold the product. On top of that, the billing is completely unclear and despite that fact that we were told "we don't nickel and dime you," we are being nickel and dimed at every turn. The costs are much higher than anticipated and the product is subpar. They also have some clear compliance issues that therefore are making us as a company worry about our compliance with state rules and regulations. They release new updates on a quarterly, if not monthly, basis. Way better than ADP. Cons Paycom can be a little behind the times on the updates and features you see in other HRIS products. It gives me Everything I need to do to fill out and start getting paid ASAP. Pros PayCom is a great way to get paid! It’s super easy to follow your pay periods and pay stubs. They offer videos on how to get to everything. The Mobil app is super easy to use. They are also very trust worthy. Cons I tend to find the online a little Bit harder to use then the Mobil app. Setting everything up on the website is fine but once I downloaded the app it was all there and easy to go through. We started simple with the basic features and have been continuing to add and add using more and more of the system. Cons My only big complaint revolves around reporting on the manager side of the system. It can be a lot of trial and error to get the report that you are after. The only nice thing is once you do have a report you like then you can save and just go back and re-run that same report which makes it easier to replicate. Paycom also has excellent customer service, providing me with a dedicated rep that I can call anytime. Cons Not a fan of the Talent Acquisition or Talent Management Module. Both of these modules need major updates to be competitive with other software systems. The Talent Acquisition module (Applicant Tracking) would take months and months to build out when our current system takes minutes. The Talent Management Module isn't able to be as customized as we need it to be and doesn't provide great reporting options. I’m able to use an app if I’m away from the office, I can sign documents with an e- signature and log time. It is a all in one product that everyone should use! Pros I love how user friendly this product is for everyone. Everything is very self explanatory and if you have any questions, customer service is very helpful and patient. Cons I personally do not like how the time accrual works - it shows it differently in two different tabs, I find it hard to understand. New employees, whether they are tech-savvy or not, seem to pick up the payroll functionality easily, and once they are up to speed, we are off to the races. Paycom has cut down on all my payroll time spent and has allowed me time to think more big picture. The time and effort saved pays for Paycom every month over and over again. Pros Customizability, employee's ability to manage their own data, integrations, once all of the functions were implemented and learned by employees, cut down on hours of work weekly and saved more time for me to work more strategically Cons The setup process was intricate and though the customer experience rep that set us up was very knowledgable and educated us on every single part of the software, it still takes a little time to get going, but after a week of following the procedures, our representative laid out for us, I was confidently teaching employees how to use it and soon the learning curve was gone and we were off to the races. Once a PAYCOM rep came out to visit me & tell me about their services & how using them would add efficiency to my business, I was quick to listen. Having PAYCOM for my payroll service has not only given me time back, but helped report hours correctly. Before, I used to use my CAP to do my payroll. It required a lot of emailing, faxing, phone calls, & trips to the CAP. Those days are no longer! Cons I am really impressed with Platform's service, ability to customize, while keeping things affordable. Pros Offers everything that an HR department would need. The ATS system is super helpful and payroll processing went smoothly. Our customer service rep was always available and responsive. He was willing to walk us through the process each step of the way. Cons However, the performance management and document creator dashboards were not intuitive. You are not given all of the capabilities you need to have reviews and the document creator seems to be a different language... and is not straight forward...edible, online-edible....who knows! Then you can't edit a document that you need to each year that your work comp policy changes unless you re-create the entire document. The entire team made sure that our transition from an older platform to Paycom was seamless! All of our reports and files were also transitioned over to Paycom safely. Even more, our employees get to take the reigns on getting on-boarded for work via their mobile devices no matter if they're on sight or working remotely. Pros Paycom is a payroll centered all in one operations system that also makes human resources a breeze! The system is very tech forward and a streamlined dream for multi-functioning operations teams. Their customer service is great too. I'm always able to get someone on the phone and they're always helpful in solving my issue. Pros We use Paycom on multiple companies and I love the ease of setup. We can usually be up and running on a new company within a week. The website is intuitive and easy to use. Cons If setting up for a new company, make sure you have funded your bank account before setting up Paycom. If not, you will be required to wire the funds to Paycom in advance of each payroll.
