### "Solid system"

Clocking could be done from any device connected to a specific IP address (could not punch from any location) preventing theft of time

Cons

No real complaints system worked as it was designed.

The way I can manage my employees with ease. I can see their timecards, time off requests, and pay rates in one place. It makes it easy to manage that I have enough employees in the office at all times.

Cons

Punch requests can prove difficult to revise if mistakes are made on timecards.

Pros

I have found that everything you need within the HR world is right at your fingertips with Paycom. Now that we use Applicant Tracking and Document and Task Management, our onboarding process has been simplified for our new employees, our supervisors and myself. The ease of use within the entire system makes my job much easier.

Cons

The only thing I can think of as a suggestion is that Paycom have an interdepartmental communication system be in place so that supervisors and employees can message each other within Paycom.

Electronic onboarding has been a big hit for us. Also the ability to eliminate manual entry on the payroll processes have helped make us more efficient, providing available time for other non-urgent but important projects to get completed.

Pros

This software took us from the paper world to the electronic world so it was revolutionary for us. The software can be customized to meet your needs. We have a lot of nuances in our company that created some challenges and we were typically able to find a work around to make it work like we were accustomed. Also, our dedicated Transition Specialist was awesome and continues to work very hard to meet our needs.

Cons

With any major transition there are challenges to overcome. The actual transition is the part I liked the least. Long hours of prep and testing. There are a couple of minor things that won't work quite the way I want them to, but we have found ways to work around them.

Reason for choosing Paycom

The sales staff did a great job of convincing us and the software seemed to meet our needs. Some of the others were more than we need and some didn't seem as robust as what we wanted.

For a payroll and benefits administrator, Paycom puts customer first in taking care of employees with efficiency and protects our business in the ever-changing world of government regulations and taxes. The employees love Paycom because they have access to their account 24/7 for their own peace of mind as well as great tools such as vacation requests and proof of income verification when they are making exciting life changes such as buying a car or house. Thankfully our payroll taxes, healthcare regulations, and complicated government reporting is all handled by Paycom, providing the assurance that our business is 100% compliant. With Paycom, doing payroll and implementing benefits such as vacation accruals, pension plan contributions, and health benefits is very simple to administer freeing up time to focus on our organization's growth. When adding a new feature or benefit, Paycom's customer service is amazing! Our professional account representative is friendly, helpful and efficient. Paycom is also continually providing great training and updates on new features that are available. In a quick minute or two, I have learned valuable information on how Paycom is doing, even more, to stay ahead of client's needs and wants by continuing to be innovative and an invaluable resource. Paycom has been the best company decision for us!

I have found Paycom representatives completely apathetic in their approach to customer service. Their lethargic responses (if they bother) to essential concerns and needs related to jurisdictional nuances around pay rules and time keeping is unacceptable. Their inability to customize their system to any jurisdiction outside of Texas (which has the simplest of labor laws) is epic. I wouldn't use them and my company will likely stop using them sooner than later. Lord, hasten the day!!!

Pros

None. They make big promises and put in ZERO effort.

Cons

Everything. From their inability to customize according to business needs, to their deplorable customer support.

Pros

Paycom is like a one stop shop for your HR needs. It makes it easy to manage your work schedule/paycheck deductions/benefits/trainings as an employee and as a manager. I have used this numerous times to check to see when I am next working if unsure. With the ease of a few clicks I am able to adjust my paycheck deductions when necessary without having the hassle of paperwork or going to an HR office. I am able to clearly see which training I need to complete, and get a little notification for anything I have left to get done. I really enjoy being able to have all of these documents online in one place online, rather than having to access multiple sites, or have a physical pile of paperwork.

Cons

I don't really have cons for this software. It took me about a half hour to become completely accustomed to using the site.

Nothing. I love it. We use two Programs for payroll, paycom and Qgenda and Paycom is so much easier to used and Qgenda is so expensive

Pros

Robust Reporting Benefit Module is easy to use. As a client, you can manage your own benefit plans with just a few clicks of the mouse. Payroll budgeting tool allows a budget to be set, managers can request the increase by individual. You can get as intricate with this as you'd like.

Cons

There are a few simple things that your assigned payroll specialist needs to be involved in that seem silly: - You can't delete a custom report that you created, you have to email your payroll rep to remove this. lame. - You can't void a manual check that you printed, you have to email your payroll rep to void this. lame. The good news is that the payroll specialist teams are responsive, compared to other HRIS platforms I have used.

Pros

I love that i can access my pay stubs before my actual pay day! it brings a little bit of excitement as I am in sales. Its always exciting to see what the final pay out will be for pay check and commission.

Honestly, everything works great with Paycom, ive been with my company for five years and i have never experience any difficulties with paycom

Pros

report writing is good. Fairly easy online interface. They are very nice before implementation and express confidence before things get going. I think the employees are good, but the management systems at Paycom do not allow the people to really take care of the customers.

Cons

Sold us things which do not work For us, the system did not work well. We pay commissions but in Paycom the sales numbers count as hours. So we had inaccurate hours for empployees Major problems with ACA data not updating as it should. They did not take accountability for setting up the W2s correctly.

Overall, Paycom is the ideal employee HR platform for our company - easy to use, access and build out. Paycom offers a lot of insight for the end-user into payroll, benefits, continued performance plans, and more, all in an easily navigable interface. We love Paycom!

Pros

Paycom has a great, easy-to-use interface, especially for the end-user. The paycom interface lays out large tiles and sub-headers the major areas a user would want to access, including Time-Off Reauests, Payroll and Benefits., as soon as one logs in. Making Time-Off Requests is simple and pain-free, as well as clocking in/out. We also enjoy the ability to utilize the Paycom iOS app!

Cons

Paycom currently doesn't integrate with our current LMS, which we have to log into a different platform to access, but that is not a huge issue - more of a "would be nice" request for the future.

Terrible. There have got to be more modern and intuitive HR softwares out there. There has to be.

Pros

I guess having any HR software is better than paper forms? That's the only positive I can think of

Cons

Outdated and clunky, unintuitive. And the worst thing is the account management. Look forward to constantly changing your password every quarter because the system wants to be so secure it even keeps you out, except it's not designed for actual humans

I have had a very positive experience with Paycom since the company instituted it as our payroll program

Pros

The fact that I am able to take care of all my payroll needs in one place. From reviewing and authorizing my paycheck to competing company and tax forms it is all in one program. Very user friendly

Cons

I have no complaints about this program.

Honestly it's great for what you asking it to do. It won't cook a full course meal for you but it will handle most things from signing in to checking pay stubs for all employees.

Pros

My time at the using Paycom at this job was only about 8 months but it's functionality was tremendous, especially compared to other employer's software.

Cons

I had some problems signing in at times because of the required password change it makes you do every so often and customer service was the least bit of helpful (but it might have been a one time thing)

Combines a lot of useful features in one (theoretically) convenient location

Cons

Schedule can’t do time zones, which is frankly embarrassing. Useless for a company that does work in more than one time zone. UI is ugly and clunky. Difficult to find what you’re looking for.
