Overall I really like Paycom and it makes everything with HR related things so easy to complete.

Pros

Paycom is awesome system between, clocking in, paystubs, training, documents, applying for jobs, applying for benefits, etc.it is a all in one center that makes it easy to keep up up with anything related to HR and it is simple to use.

Cons

Honestly I haven't had any real ssues with Paycom. The only thing I don't like is if I get on a different computer and try to use it it wants to send a code to my phone to verify it's me before I can clock in. But I know it's just a safety feature so I can deal with it.

Pros

The best thing I can say about the product is that the landing page is all on a page. It the color green is ok

Cons

Where do I start. I test them on my small company. For the number of employees this company had. It took forever to set it up. First, the setup team told me to give them all my accounts we use. Did that, but they fail to mention the format they needed. Promise my whole staff would train on the system. Only gave one person a brief training on the system. So many steps to do simple tasks like pay employees or run reports. They do not know the payroll laws of the states where the service customers. Sale reps are very pushy about sale you more then you need

I use the application daily to log in and out for work to keep track of my hours I also use the application to keep track of my vacation hours

Pros

It has an app for my phone which makes it convenient to enter hours

Cons

Not easy to log in Not very easy to keep track of time Manager has trouble overriding my input if necessary

### "Paycom Employee and Client Software Review"

Pros

What I like most about this software is that it is easy to use. It provides a tutorial if you have any questions. It is easy to request time off as an employee but also approve my team members time off, and edit their time cards if needed. The app is also great because if someone forgets to approve their time card, it can be done from home. I also really like that I can view my paystubs as well with just a click. Paycom is a very proficient software and I would recommend it for businesses.

Cons

The thing I like least about Paycom is the length of time it takes to log in. It almost always looks like I am late for my position because it takes time to answer the questions to log in. I realize they are for security but I would like the process to be a little smoother perhaps by not as many questions.

It has been easy to use for scheduling. Payroll and managing hours is super user friendly.

Pros

I love being able to use it on the go. Our company is open seven days a week. I often have to make changes to the schedule or approve time punch changes at all hours. I can easily access it from my mobile device to make those changes

Cons

For the employees there isn't a calendar view to pick up/swap shifts

Pros

I liked that I could access it remotely and that it allowed me to update my w4 info and generate prior paystubs going back 18 months when I needed to provide for a mortgage loan.

Cons

The password questions you answered were never stored. I wrote down the answer to one of my security questions as red bicycle, yet, when I got locked out and it asked me to answer the question it would say wrong answer and make me constantly bug my Human Resourced Dept. to get unlocked.

Pros

I love how everything is integrated with each other. Payroll is easy to process, reporting is easy and quick to get results. The EESS feature allows us to empower our employees.

Cons

We have had some service issues, outside of our current specialist. Due to the nature of our business, we have some development requests that had to be submitted that we are still waiting on.

There are pieces to this HRIS that have some great ease of use, self explanatory, and great functionality. This is a really good company and most of the applications within the product are great. Just remember as with most of these software's they will all have the same functionalities, it is just a matter of how you get from A-Z that may change and you must be open to that. If you want customization, then you will have to pay for that.

Pros

A good system, especially if you are converting from full paper trails to electronic. You are able to pick and choose different applications with the system to use. Single sign on for Administrators and Management. You always know what is coming in the enhancement releases.

Cons

Under Talent Management, the review application had been the bane of my existence. While it does have some great features, there have been major problems for us over the past 5 years. I don't believe they have handled their growth very well. I have an assigned representative, but I am only to speak with him about 50% of the time I call in for assistance.

As general user i find it usefull to keep tabs on everythin time related it just needs to fix a bit of the way the app is strucutred even more for older people besides that it is a complet tool

Pros

It provides access to clock in-out. Timesheet management PTO request Even courses to improve your team capabilities.

Cons

It can get a bit complicated to travel the application, I assist with it and finding the righ options gets a bit confusing since a lot of menus sound like the provide the same functionalities. the courses even if you complete them sometims it does not provide with the checkmark and you have to take it again.

The software is very easy to use and they are always providing updates to improve and further simplify the user-experience. Customer Service has been an issue we've had in the past, but this has since been addressed, as we were recently provided with a representative who is more hands-on and attentive to our very specific needs.

The software/website is very easy to use and they are always providing updates to improve and further simplify the user-experience. For a nonprofit organization like ours, the range of capabilities they provide is limitless, allowing us to generate detailed reports, create basic and intensive staff development trainings, implement mileage reimbursement reports, manage information on health benefits, and so much more.

We've been using Paycom for at least 6 years and the customer service is EXCELLENT. Yes, there is something of a learning curve to the software, but once you know what to do, its pretty easy. Our accountant has asked for specific things and if I can't figure it out on my own, Paycom's customer service is always available with limited wait times. I've found that the assigned specialist is a huge help and I've never had an issue with any customer service person being unhelpful or lacking knowledge on a subject. I feel 100% confident our payroll is being done correctly through Paycom - excellent service and I'd recommend it to any small business.

Pros

Pretty straightforward once you know how to use it Information easily available and able to be organized in different ways as needed

Cons

Sometimes the learning curve is a touch high Occasionally you have to turn to customer support to get a specific document

Pros

Everything! Each tab was self explanatory. The ability to locate your paystub, time, benefits, schedule, forms, approvals and performance reviews was perfect!

I really can't think of anything I disliked.

The system provides a variety of HR management tools. The Payroll and Benefits functionality is easy to use and takes little effort. The documents section allows for complete paper trail and historical employment documentation at the click of a mouse.

I would like to see updated accrual processes within the system including more capability on the reporting side

Pros

I love the ease of payroll processing as well as the benefits programming. The Documents section of the system allows for a complete and easy to access paper trail and historical employment record of all employees. This has save our HR department many man hours because there is no need to shuffle paperwork anymore. I have worked with 10+ systems over the last 22 years and this is one that I would recommend to anyone

Cons

The reporting function is very good except on the paid time off accrual buckets. I would like to see the accrual balances easier to read and understand for the employees

Pros

The ability to house all your information in one system, how user friendly the system is. Once our training was completed the employees required little help in the system. The Customer Service Team was very helpful. As a Manager the ability to track time off request was a great feature for me.

Cons

The only thing I would change would be the logins- As a manager I had to have two logins, one for Management and one as an Employee. It would be nice to be able to navigate under one login

Pros

Paycom is one of the most secure payroll software I have used or managed for clients. It's a wonderful HR and finance management system too. Provides easy to use employee self-service portal which helps employees manage their pay and benefits online.

Cons

With a high load of customers Paycom is kind of going slow on customer support. Probably should have more people on that team and train them extremely well.

### "Implementation has been a nightmare!"

Implementation team is young and inexperienced to the real world. The system lay out was done incorrectly and now reports generated by system is absolutely useless to the company. The answer was you can write what you want yourself. There was no communication when set up was done with how information from system is generated to allow THE CUSTOMER the choice of layout. Now have to do manual reporting to government agencies that did not have to do prior. I feel like we have dealt with a used car salesman. Watch your invoice - we have had some major billing issues, and after 3 payroll runs the bill is still incorrect and I have been waiting for days for an explanation of the delay in correction.

Pros

Ease/order of entry. Employee Side Sample Paystub nice feature. Package is pleasing to the eye. Proceed with caution!

Cons

Lack of system ability to generate and distribute payroll reports automatically. All the hidden costs that are not included in original quote. Slow response to issues. Recommended Push Reporting to automate reporting. Failed to mention push reporting does not allow bi-weekly reporting - the payroll here is BI-WEEKLY! Can only generate reports daily, weekly or monthly.

Payroll and human systems have never been easier, and seamless, due to Paycom's excellent features. Employees can easily access tons of information and makes management a breeze.

Pros

This product has many great features including an app that has full access to end of the year forms, internal hiring, requests for time off and PTO accruals, profile, and much more.

Cons

The app itself is somewhat clunky design, but given all that paycom offers, it's a small cosmetic gripe.
