Cons Used Paycom as our HRM and LMS. It fell extremely short on both sides. Do not use this as an LMS. It is extremely difficult to perform simple tasks. We have since started using another platform as our LMS, which has been a breath of fresh air. One of our huge pain points was the inability to edit a quiz questions after it was assigned. The edits will only work for users assigned to the test going forward. HR managers can access everything they need under one log in. Cons Since it’s such a big system, it has a pretty big learning curve. There are a lot of pieces and parts to memorize. Absolutely utilize your Paycom representatives so you don’t get lost. And it really needs a Client side app! It is important to have a safe and reliable and makes organization very easy! Pros I really like that this is easily accessible on a computer or phone. You can request days off, check your pay stubs, and complete other employment forms. It's nice that everything is stored in one place! As an admin, this makes it really easy for me to use and check in with my employers and keep all important and necessary documents in one place. Cons At times there are still some bugs with this product. It will glitch and/or delete things that my employers have inputted. Pros Not a good fit for a Small Business ! they treat you like a corporation from the start, they charge misc additional fees, payroll system NOT user friendly. Waste of my time and money.3 months in and still can’t get timesheets to work. Cons Not easy to use by administrators & employees and Takes too long to get up and running. Reason for choosing Paycom I was sold on the timesheets. Was supposed to save me money requiring employees to keep up with their hours but the timesheet function still does not work. It has a fingerprint layer for added security on mobile devices which I appreciate. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to streamline employee documentation. Pros The company I work for utilizes Paycom for our payroll, on boarding procedures, benefit info, and expense tracking. It's been incredibly easy to use, has an app that functions well, and has everything I could need in one place. It's made tracking mileage and expenses for reimbursement extremely easy to keep up with. Cons So far I have not encountered any issues with this software. I really enjoy now having access to my work information without having to be at the office. Upgrading to Paycom has been a great experience! Pros Mobility and ease of use are both great features. I really like being able to use the Paycom app on my phone to update my timesheet, submit/manage leave requests, access payroll information, and more! Cons I haven't encountered any issues. There have been some coworkers who've struggled to learn the process, but there are tutorials available to help. Allows us to process payroll quickly and move on to other pressing job duties quickly. Pros Most appreciate the ability to call and speak to a knowledgeable live person to answer any questions we may have, whether it be how do I make this change or can you check to see if I have this setting correct. Cons Would like to see the quarterly reports just a tiny bit sooner. Customization for a numerous amounts of needs. Great and quick support from back end as well. Pros I like the reporting and customization of fields. It provides me the ability to be able to adapt our HRIS system to the changing needs of the organization. Built in reporting is super handy when conducting audits and managing a large workforce. All in one HRIS system, does basically everything you need. Cons Some parts are still underdeveloped and could be improved such as the HR Analytics dashboard and leave administration. I like that I could use my finger print to unlock the app. This is how I logged my hours every day for months and months at my old job as a teaching assistant. Cons I remember I had to be very careful about logging my hours during the correct time of day, it seemed a little finnicky. I recall it using 24 time instead of 12 hour time? April 6, 2022 5.0 I had a colleague that raved about this. So I looked into it and I’m so glad I did! Pros It handles my payroll and I don’t have to worry about it! I have to create contacts I don’t have time to worry about making sure my staff is handled and paid correctly. Takes all the worry out of payroll!!! Cons It was a little difficult to learn at first, but that’s probably me LOL! My team showed me how to set this up and with their assistance we had it up and running with no problem at all. My main frustration lies in when I have an issue and need something resolved, they can't give me any concrete answers. Pros Very easy to navigate. There is a ton of functionality that I'm still learning how to use. They are always making updates to add to the robustness of the program. Cons There is some functionality that just doesn't work often enough, which can be frustrating. The applicant tracking function needs a lot of work in my opinion as well.
