Excellent. We have had fantastic customer service on the whole and it is a vital part of our organization.

Pros

The comprehensive customer support and the quarterly in person problem solving time we receive. 97% of the time I speak to a person and don't have to leave a message. They proactively reach out to us when there are changes in requirements.

Cons

It has a lot of features for a small organization, but it can be hard to implement and keep up with improvements Paycom makes.

### "So Glad We Made the Switch"

We've been with Paycom for 3 months now and the ease of use and capabilities of the platform are top notch. Moving to Paycom has been smooth and saved me, an HR department of one, so much time and effort!

Pros

Everything is connected, no third party sites, just everything all in one. Truly this platform has all of the features, our implementation team was fantastic and responsive with every question we had. Having one profile for employees versus toggling between multiple has been so helpful for data management and employee tracking.

Cons

Scheduling needs a few tweaks - an easier way to delete a shift or mass remove a schedule would be helpful!

### "Hit or Miss with Support, Easy Payroll. Take time to Implement"

A mixed bag. The last 6 months or so with our new support team has definitely been great though. I wish it could have been this way all along. Overall though, I don’t know if I’d choose Paycom in a line up again. Implementation seemed to go great but you don’t really know what was missed until you’re in the system. Do not rush that process. And do the trainings. Make sure you know what you are doing before you go live, and check EARLY to make sure data was transferred correctly, and there aren’t accrual issues. They do offer a lot of support options, and again it’s easily accessible. So if this is important to you, you will get it with Paycom.

Pros

Paycom overall is a good system. When implemented correctly, and when you purchase all modules it functions decently well. Payroll is quite easy with th timekeeping module in place.

Cons

your support team makes all the difference right along with who implements you. Our current support team is great. Before there were several issues and it rooted back to implementation. While support was always easy to get ahold of, there was a disconnect between myself and our assigned rep for awhile. They made it very challenging to get our rep reassigned. There seems to be challenges with having accrual limits stop at a set yearly amount when you also allow people to earn PTO when they work overtime. This is very strange to me but they never resolved this issue for us. I do not like the price per payroll set up. But it isn’t very much to run a payroll off cycle either.

### "Be patient Paycom will get you there but it will take a long time....."

Mixed. Overall not very good. I have used ADP and Paychex, and Gusto and found them much easier to use. Their help screens and videos are much better than Paycom.

Pros

The support staff is available and helpful. The geo-fence system for time keeping is helpful and one of the best in the industry.

Cons

The way the system works is not intuitive and the help screens are awful. It is very hard to understand how it works and overall the software is glitchy and doesn't run well. So many things are hidden and secret. It is very hard to use.

### "Why go with the rest when you can get the best?!"

I feel heard and treated with respect. Development recommendations are genuinely considered. They check in periodically to make sure you are getting your full value from the system and review best practices.

Pros

Everytime you turn around, Paycom is developing something new. Innovation is their middle name! And could we please give our client rep, \[sensitive content hidden\], a round of applause?! She is like a dog with a bone and chews on an issue until there is nothing left to chew on.

Cons

Some things don’t integrate. For instance, in payroll, there are 3-4 fields indicating whether an EE is hourly or salary.

Very positive, we've been supported at every steps of the process. We're a year and half post implementation and still learning, but this has been a huge improvement for our organization.

Pros

Customer support Ease of use Data - we have exponentially more information at our fingertips in comparison to our prior paper processes. This allows us to act using real-time information and be more strategic.

Cons

Honestly, no major complaints here. If I'm being picky, I'd like to change the home page tiles and move them around to access my favorites quicker. Instead of i want up top, I'd rather jump to employee changes.

Unfortunately negative all around. The platform ran payroll if everything was static but any changes required quite a bit of CS input and workaround. Discrepancy on tax was the final nail in the coffin - not that the issue arose but the steps to resolution and inability have a definitive POC to work through the issue.

Pros

I'm going to be very honest in this review - I had a terrible experience with this platform (inherited from prior executives initiative). I gave it an honest go and the UI was dated, but more importantly the customer service was horrendous.

Cons

Customer service - without going into detail we had a tax correction that arose and I have never been bounced around so many times for months. This became an active item that made its way to our \[sensitive content hidden\] desk at the end of it.

### "Paycom is SUPER user friendly!! "

My company switched from another platform to Paycom, and I have been very happy with the switch. Paycom is very user-friendly and provides great insights that make payroll information digestible and interactive.

Pros

Paycom makes it very easy to see your payroll information. I really like that you get a preview of your upcoming check to approve, and that Paycom provides insights and shows how your paycheck compares to previous months. Paycom makes tax documents and elections very easy, customizable, and ensures the tax process is straightforward. They also have a really cool AI tool!

Cons

I like that I have to provide the last 4 of my Social Security number to log in to Paycom. I understand that it is for security, but I would prefer not to do that.

Currently using for payroll, HR, Benefits, reviews, one on ones-It has improved our processes, making it easy to use for the management team and the staff. Each year we add on something new, we are now completely paperless for our entire HR/payroll/Performance review process.

Our platform is designed for ease of use, ensuring that staff can quickly navigate and operate it with minimal training. Its intuitive interface and streamlined functionality make it accessible for users of varying technical skill levels. With all features integrated into a single platform, staff can efficiently manage tasks, collaborate, and access essential tools without the need to switch between multiple systems. Paycom support is always there when I need them. I can send an email, phone in, or using online tools to troubleshoot any question. I like a having all my HR data in one location. I can pull various reports.

Pros

All in one HRIS system, it is a create value for the money we spend each month. I like that we can process payroll on a Thursday for Friday paydate.

Cons

They offer a lot of support which is amazing. I can get confused with the various templates. The are always making improvements.

### "Easy Breeze "

I have been working with Paycom for more than 7 years and love it. I understand the portal easily without getting lost. When I make changes to a staff member I do not have to worry to make changes in different areas. Payroll is a breeze, and their support team is always helpful.

Pros

It's a one stop shop, with wonderful customer service. The portal is easy to navigate and understand. They constantly are trying to do enhancements that help, plus they listen to customer suggestions.

Cons

Sometimes the site is a little slow but gets corrected quickly. I wish we could talk directly to tax experts.

We transitioned to Paycom a few years ago and are still exploring what is possible for us to add on. There is always another option to add, with new tools coming out on a regular basis and updates to existing ones. I like the communication from the Paycom team on a regular basis and having a dedicated Paycom Specialist who is quick to respond to any questions we have.

Pros

I appreciate that it is an all in one platform for us. It's been great for managers and employees. We're now able to use it for employee recruitment, screening, onboarding, and support. It's cut down on the amount of time it takes to do things, which has freed up my time to focus on bigger projects.

Cons

It's not always the most intuitive platform to find what you need. It takes some getting used to because there can be multiple ways to get to the same spot. I often need to reach out to our Paycom Specialist for help, which he is thankfully always willing to provide!

It’s a fairly easy system to use. Except for the reporting. That needs to be easier to build reports.

Cons

The very expensive compared to other systems. I’ve been shopping other vendors and I get way more included in my base pricing for thousands less than what I’m paying for now.

I like Paycom a lot. I worked with Paycom at my previous employer for 8 years and was excited to start a new job over a year ago, that also uses Paycom. It was nice to already know the software. I always have good things to say about Paycom.

Pros

Paycom is super user friendly. If there is anything that you do not know, you can call your dedicated rep and they will answer any question and show you how to complete the task. You won't ever have an issue getting the help you need. I also like that they offer so much. It is easy to only pay for what you need because you can customize your package. It is still a little pricy but it is worth it because you know your HR/Payroll/Benefits will be accurate.

Cons

That although worth it, it is pricy. I am not a business owner, but I know the prices and how it can add up quickly. It is a good investment and you get a good platform and help for what you pay for.

### "Avoid this HRIS"

My overall experience with Paycom was very poor. Great promises, high hopes that things would be addressed, and never once was anything delivered on.

Pros

The sales people were great!.... The employee mobile application was also enjoyed by my staff and something they felt was easy to navigate.

Cons

Implementation and customer service were atrocious. I'm truly not sure I've ever had a worse experience with a vendor. They set things up improperly - we had spreadsheets sent to them with tax information that was never setup as it should have been - and we spent hours upon hours fixing things because of this. That's just one example of so many things that went wrong.

The overall experience has been amazing with all of the up and downs, Paycom has been there to assist along the way , making things easier.

Pros

The team has been extremely responsive, supportive, and knowledgeable throughout the process. We’ve appreciated the user-friendly platform, the streamlined onboarding experience, and the ability to manage multiple HR and payroll functions in one system. The customer service and ongoing support from the Paycom team have also been a major positive for our organization.

Cons

At this time, we have not experienced any major issues with Paycom or the support provided so far. Paycom is great!

### "Paycom - Great system "

Overall, I would recommend Paycom, they are always doing updates and have a modern outlook! They also have Reps local to us and they come out and show us best practice items regularly.

Pros

I like Paycom's customer service! I like that we have our own customer service representative. I like that we can call day or night and be connected with someone even if it not our direct rep.

Cons

Sometimes you have to change the same thing in multiple places, however I know they are trying to consolidate that.

### "Great Overall value with excellent support"

Paycom has been a reliable and effective solution for our needs, offering great value, excellent customer support and an easy to use platform.

Pros

The most I like about Paycom is its excellent customer support with a dedicated payroll specialist and the high level of customization that allows the system to fit our specific business needs.

Cons

Paycom is constantly introducing new features, which can be challenging to keep up with. As a small department wearing many hats, there isn't always enough time to fully learn and adopt each new enhancement.

### "Great System"

Very good. We have utilized more modules within the last year and learned so much. Many of the modules have really made things run more efficiently.

Pros

Easy navigation for managers and employees. Training is offered to managers if needed. Customer support is a live person that answers.

Cons

Sometimes not notified if an update has happened and it changes things for us on our screen or procedure.
