Pros This software is great for employees. It is so easy to check your time, paystubs, and even put in for time off. You don't need to remember several passwords for all of these portals because it is all offered in one place. Cons At times the time off portal wouldn't accept hours due to a glitch. Employees are able to access their account from a smart phone and the boon of moving towards a paperless system Is one I truly love. Cons To ensure security there are quite a few security questions that need to be setup for every account. It allows a specific number of times to enter password if it’s still incorrect the account locks out and then there is a wait time. December 11, 2019 5.0 makes managing Human Resources easy and simple. Pros I like that it provides most HR related functions under one roof. You can store HR forms, approve payroll hours, make adjustments to personal info such as updating your home address, phone numbers, email addresses, dependants, etc. You can also manage your company benefits and even take training through modules. It is very much a one-stop-shop for HR related matters. As a user, it is very convenient to be able to look things up and manage your info on the go. They even have a mobile app with full functionality, so you don't have to be sitting at your desk to use Paycom's functions. Cons The only thing that we cannot manage through is on the Canadian side of our company. We cannot process Canadian payroll details through Paycom, because as an American company, they do not have the built-in functionality to make them compliant with Canadian laws. In fact, we were involved in working with ACE corporate in their determination to make PayCom the preferred payroll, HRIS vendor for all ACE stores. Pros is easy to use across a large number of locations. The payroll and HRIS are highly functional. Cons The company sometimes forget about the client when making changes to the programs and testing changes across the entire platform. They consistently process our payroll correctly and on time. The customer service response is exceptional. It doesn't matter that we are a small company, we still get a dedicated team of specialists that usually respond to all requests within 15 minutes. The software/website is very easy to use and the built in report writer allows for special reports to be generated for things like worker's comp and insurance audits. Cons Nothing comes to mind. Been using the software for 19+ years - it does what it's supposed to do. Small companies like ours are treated the same as larger ones. I am able to easily make adjustments to timesheets if a staff member forgets to clock in/out. I like that timesheets have to be approved prior to payroll to ensure staff clocked in/out on time and didn’t miss a punch, which would mess up their pay. Cons Some of my staff have complained about the software not working correctly when downloaded as an application on their phones. Pros We have really enjoyed the ability to pull all the reports for the many aspects of payroll. Our employees enjoy being able to pull all of their information.
