" May 21, 2019 5.0 Pros There is a lot you can view within the portals they set up. The initial set up is a little tedious but once you get going it’s very easy to navigate the button. Submitting your hours takes time but it’s quick once you get the rhythm going. Cons Everything that you have to do is a little overwhelming. There could be a easier way to input you time, like maybe having a drop down option or a copy option, other than having to do it manually throughout. August 14, 2019 5.0 Pros I've been a client of Paycom for about 15 years at different sized companies and I love how they continue to grow and invest in the system. It's a fully functional HRIS system great for companies of any size. As the company has grown they have kept focus on client services and are constantly looking for innovative ways to enhance the client experience as well as functions of the system. I highly recommend Paycom! Cons Initial implementation can be a bit challenging, like any software implementation. We have to fight and fight to get them to help us. We have been lied to, sold a product that could not be delivered, promised fabulous customer service (which has not been held to... nice people, but they cannot figure things out). Based on our experience, the only recommendation I would give to prospective customers is RUN from Paycom! Pros App is good for employees to make changes to their personal information, see punches, make punch change request, request PTO, etc. Cons Very faulty. Reports are not accurate. Random glitches. Does not work well with shift differentials. Cannot see how our system is set up. We find out things are not set up correctly when there are incorrect paychecks. During the first 4 months of running payrolls, it would leave a whole day's of hours off some time cards, others it would add 90+ hours! I would love to be paid 90 additional hours but... Pros Being able to clock in via phone is great (geofenced) so I didn’t loose pay while booting a computer. Having all pay stubs accessible on phone or web. Pros The ease of signing in and the design of the tiles on the dashboard. The icons are intuitive, and content that is behind them follows logic. Cons We previously used software that showed a chart of where my paycheck went: deductions, taxes, etc. and Paycom doesn't provide that on the dash. The reports are clean and easy to read. Processing is fairly quick and painless. Cons The service from this company is horrendous. Even when we reached out to add enhancements, they did not respond promptly. When searching for a new HRIS platform, we inquired as to their product, but they did not even show any interest in presenting to us. Poor. Its a great way to clock your hours and all of the features are extremely easy to use. You can access all of your information online and via their mobile website. Time off requests show your projected PTO amount for the future dates which is great for planning ahead. Cons Not a lot to complain about this program. Only thing would be logging in requires a password and last 4 of SSN which adds an extra step to logging in. Direct deposit, expense organization and submitting, track through reimbursement. I used to dread doing my expenses, now it's a cakewalk! Being able to see if its been approved, or its pending, or waiting for the bank- helps me understand any hold-ups to the process. Cons Sometimes there are a few extra steps, that it feels like some smart engineer could code out of the system, but not so many it makes things unworkable. Pros The Paycom program certainly has all of the features that you might need for a quality payroll system, including an easy to use mobile app and user friendly interface. Paycom's perspective is based on allowing the employee to have easy access to all of their important HR records. In turn, HR personnel might spend less time answering mundane questions. A win-win. Cons Utilizing the system and customizing it to fit your business needs, however, takes a lot of leg work and patience. There is a major learning curve here and because there are so many details, missing a step here and there is easy and a cause for errors. November 2, 2018 5.0 Pros The ability to pop on from anywhere and review my financial situation- Using the portal for the benefits selection has been streamlined, makes the offered benefits easy to select and compare from previous years. The time-off selection calendar is easy to use as well. August 13, 2018 5.0 I am a daily user of this product and have never had a problem. It allows me to add my hours from anywhere using the mobile app. This has helped me so much in keeping up on hours worked. Pros It is so easy to put in hours, time and millage as an employee. I am also able to keep track of all my information from my employer. Cons There is nothing really negative to say about Paycom. I think my favorite part was being able to view my available paid time off and sick time while also being able to request time off. (although this is pretty standard for all software like Paycom.) Cons Everything must have been 'designed' by developers and not designers. Everything felt pixelated and not aligned. The whole software was barely threshold and I was hoping for improvements over time but didn't see many. When I started at my job, I did all my training through Paycom and tracked my progress there. For the extent to which I use Paycom as an employee, it is great. Pros I like that it is pretty easy to use. Easy to track hours and request time off. Cons It's sometimes challenging to find and access important documents within the site.
