I no longer use it, because I don't work at that employer anymore. Pros One of my past employers used this for payroll. It was decently easy to use. Paycom also integrated a lot of HR functions from my small company into the system so we stay up to date on things like required trainings. This is my first time using paycom and I really enjoy it. I thought nothing could be as good as ADP but this is like a new flavor and I like the functions my organization uses from the platform. Cons Its a new system to learn. some people have trouble with that but in my opinion they aren't an employee you want to keep hahaha. Pros The interface is attractive and the customer service is good during on boarding Cons Doesn't integrate with any tax software. We have tried 3 other payroll services and this one is the most user friendly and I have not had any issues with the system going down or certain features not work like I have with other software. Pros This software is very user friendly. It has a nice work flow to help me on board new hires, create and approve their schedules and time cards. I love the task center, it allows me to send notifications to our employees to read our policy manuals, go through training guides, and I can monitor their progress. Cons The only complaint I have with this software, is that our employees report to us that they have a lot of difficulty initially setting up their personal logins. Pros We have been with Paycom for 4 years and it is fairly easy to use but we are 1099s only and they are not designed for 1099 agents they cater more towards employee set up. Cons I would like to see the same benefits for 1099 companies as w-2s. We pay an astronimical rate for Paycom printing our 1099s and they are the highest in cost per research. This is something that they refuse to work with you on. So for this reason this year we will most likely be looking for another payroll company. Even though we really do love it, that cost is just way to much for our business. Pros It is VERY easy to use and you can learn things quickly. It allows all of the HR functions to be housed in one place, which is simpler and more streamlined than our old HR platforms. Cons It looks like it's older than it is and it's touted as revolutionary but really just a streamlining of the all of the HR platform into one place. Good software but nothing remarkable. Pros 1\. Sales people were great at selling the Paycom system and capabilities! 2. Representatives were friendly Cons 1\. They royally screwed up on W-2's for all employees outside of WA state. It was quite the debacle and took way too long to correct. Such a sensitive payroll area to get incorrect, that was very distressing for too many of our employees. 2. System was frequently down 3. Cash Requirements and Tax info not available during payroll pre-processing 4. No notifications when reports are ready - must continually refresh or revisit 5. Implementation process was not smooth - many tax account set-up errors, leading to filing errors that in turn took a long time to get corrected 6. The system is easy to navigate and allows the user to easily access a lot of different types of information from anywhere internet access is available. Cons The current process of sending an employee performance evaluation back and forth between members of management to make and address comments during the review process is time consuming and inefficient. It is easy to navigate, the app is very straight forward and simple to use. As an employee, I enjoy the ease of requesting time off, requesting time clock changes, and looking up pay stubs. My company uses Paycom for onboarding and providing training or company-wide procedure updates and it is easy to find updated information and sign and complete company documents. I would definitely recommend Paycom for all your Payroll and training needs! Cons Paycom is a basic software. Paycom has also been very responsive during those times when our company has had special needs at year-end. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paycom to others. Pros Great service. Paycom responded immediately, dispatching personnel to my office and providing direct oversight and assistance over several months. We have had a great relationship with Paycom since that time and I expect that relationship to continue. Paycom’s customer service is excellent. Its staff is very responsive and well trained so that multiple individuals can provide the guidance my firm needs. From day one to current, Paycom has maintained the same high standard of care and quality in the service and products it provides my firm. Pros Ease of use. Employee onboarding. Reporting options. On-site assistance, and/or via phone, whenever needed. Customer service is second to none. There is always someone available to assist us anytime, with any issue. Pros I like the access to request days off, pull your tax report, documents, etc. Cons The punching feature. When you miss a punch, it is a lengthy process to "request a new punch" and you can't see everything on one screen until approved. Most of the time becomes a jumped mess. IE, tax season, moving to a new home and needing payment records, etc. It has been quite easy for me to jump on and grab payment records and other important forms. I recommend! It has a fairly simple interface that is easy to navigate. Cons The biggest issue with this product is the way that it rounds time punches. If the employee isn't clocking in and out on the quarter hour the program can round time poorly and short employees on time worked. Cons Some issue with GPS location sometimes i have to retry to log in couple times. The app need to be more modern doesn't need to look like a website. Need to be responsive very quick.
