Paycom helps streamline the on-going tasks of on-boarding and HRIS management. The software cuts own time-consuming aspects of people management and has increased the efficiency of the HR and Finance departments.

Pros

Paycom is an efficient and user friendly HRIS system that includes applicant tracking, on-boarding, payroll, and HR metrics. This is a wonderful, cost friendly tool for small non-profits.

Cons

The initial set-up is cumbersome and requires a good amount of upfront effort. However, once this process is complete, using the day-to-day programs are fairly easy.

### "Really easy to use!"

Pros

The ease of requesting days off so that my supervisor can see it immediately.

Cons

I would prefer the time stamp feature to be able to just "clock in" by pushing a button and then clock back out again. Since I have to actually enter the time I don't feel like it makes that option worth using.

Pros

The employee self serve is easy to navigate however module not offered in other languages as promised.

Cons

Over promised and under performed. You definitely get what you pay for. I would never recommend this HRIS system to anyone. It is inexpensive but we've had several issues with Health insurance, Cobra 401(K). It's not worth the headache. The ONLY way I would recommend is if a company needs a BASIC HR system for time keeping and running basic labor reports.

### "If I could give it a Zero...I would"

Pros

Nothing. I have had nothing but problems with this app and website.

Cons

It is so complicated to use this app or website. The worst part is that every month it signs me out completely and just to log back in, but my security questions never seem to work.

Pros

I like the single system approach where I can access all features with a single log-in. The ability to access the simple platform via remote app really enhances the experience.

Cons

Company should continue to look for ways to enhance the speed of the app. Any additional functionality that can be added in terms of accessing supervisory functions would also be a welcomed addition.

Timecard info, PTO accruals, PTO requests, holiday info, tax info, W2 adjustments, training videos

Pros

Paycom makes it really easy to find employee info (about timecards, time off, accruals, tax info, etc). It's really nice that way because now we can get all that info ourselves rather than bombarding them to look up specific info for us.

Cons

The training is a little obnoxious. It's really nice that it's housed in the system. So, you can just watch the video and learn how to use it on an individual basis. But it's a training video. And it's obnoxious.

Pros

It is nice to have an actual HRIS system.

Cons

The customer service has been difficult to work with. They do not respond promptly or provide solutions quickly. The reporting feature is very basic and is not easy to navigate or export. I have to piece different things together to get what I need.

Highly recommend this platform! As a start-up we're using technology optimized across our digital stack and extremely pleased with the results Paycom gives me as an employee

Pros

\-easy to navigate (HUGE plus) - if you've struggled with other benefits tools (used Kronos in the past) the UI is very easy to navigate, everything is placed in a very organized and neat layout -mobile app offered - pretty efficient and have used it when needing to work remote/request a sick day

Cons

\-no real complaints - it does what I need and I've been very satisfied. security was a bit tedious when setting up, but I'd be concerned if it were too easy

Pros

Easy to manage once you learn the system. The reporting function works well. It is easy to create customized reports. Support personnel are great! They are available to either do something for you themselves, or walk you through how to do it. Our support person and her team are easy to talk to, know their customers, and are good at coming up with solutions to questions or issues.

Cons

Manuals are written for somebody who already know how to use Paycom. Manuals need to be written from the perspective of somebody who has never used Paycom.

We utilize everything with the exception of the recruiting module...hopefully when our current ATS contract expires we will also move to use this module with Paycom as well.

Pros

From the employees to our managers, to the systems admins we all agree the system is easy to use! I also love the fact that there is an instruction for just about every function in the system. Tis is super useful when training new supervisors/managers and staff.

Cons

I don't like the fact that the employee orgs are not readily available and built into the system. I see there is a new feature for this and I am currently working through the steps to activate this feature.

Overall experience with the system is great. Definitely also like the app that can be used on my phone.

Pros

I like the ability to fix my own punch in and out times and all that my supervisor has to do is approve them, That is a time saver.

Cons

when logging in I cannot have my password be saved so I have to enter it every single time. But it's not that big of a deal it's just would save a little bit of time.

### "Best user experience PERIOD!"

Pros

We have been using the system for over one year now and it has consolidated several different systems into one place. It has enabled us to be able to organize all of our employees and contractors into one system. Expense submittal and approval is the simplest I have ever used. The Time Sheet is simple and straightforward.

Cons

We should have added more periodic refresher training as with a high turnover rate our people are not always up to speed. I am not fond of the document management piece but I do not have to use it often enough to really dig into it.

When doing taxes this year, the instructions for acquiring your W2s wasn't as simple as I assumed it would have been.

Pros

The simplicity of the dashboard is extremely necessary for offices with a lot of employees. Insurance, taxes, pay stubs can be complicated--and this system makes it very easy.

### "Easy to look at deposits"

Pros

I love that you can easily look at how much money will go in your account. You are also able to put more than one bank to send your money. This is convenient to do by yourself vs. having to reach out to HR everytime you want to switch banks.

Cons

I do not like that there is a lot of buttons and little training on what they do.

The customer service is beyond words! I have never been unhappy with them! You have a dedicated client services representative from a local perspective and you have a dedicated client service representative on the platform itself! I feel I have great friends at Paycom! I am one of their biggest fans! Go Paycom!

Pros

Everything! They are cusomter focused! They are the most personable vendor I work with! They obviously know what they are doing when they train their representatives!

Cons

Typically the client service reps are so good they end up getting promoted to a management level! That means you have to break in a new rep! It use to bug me but each one is better and better!
