On the outside, is a polished product and your team was able to sell it very well. Unfortunately, our implementation experience was chaotic. We have been disappointed by a number of functionalities Paycom offers, either because they did not deliver what was expected or because they are at times overly complex to use. Again, the value for money is not there. Overall, we regret to say that our experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

Pros

offers a comprehensive HR information system. Anyone working with Paycom is always very cordial.

Cons

While comprehensive, HRIS is hard to navigate and use. As an organization, we have been very disappointed by the overall value for our money. Some of the modules we picked did not meet our expectations - the scheduling module for instance. Additionally, while all of our implementation managers and long-term support specialists have been really nice, the high turnover and the varying levels of expertise have adversely impacted our overall experience.

I have had a good experience with . It allows me to effectively manage my employee's schedules, attendance, punches and performance.

Pros

Ease of use, easy edit features and mobile app option for employees and management. Payroll and performance management features.

Cons

For my company it is used with Microsoft Edge. So, that is the only aspect that I do not like. I do not like the Microsoft Edge as a web browser.

Excellent! I would highly recommend. The software is very user friendly and intuitive. The reporting section is stellar!

Pros

The ease of implementation! We have approx. 800 employees in several states and the implementation process was fast and furious! Our specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\] , was so easy to work with, helpful in every way, and super responsive. I never felt left out to dry or left to figure things out on my own. We ran a perfect first payroll!

Cons

There was a little bit of a disconnect between our sales rep and our internal team. This caused a little confusion and some lingering setup items.

Overall I love using and the technology that comes with it. It is simple, quick and easy to navigate, we love the reporting features and love the great customer service we receive.

Pros

I love the customer service we receive whenever we have questions or need assistance with a special project or report. I love that we have a local rep who checks in on us periodically. I love the ease of use and functionality of the software. It makes processing payroll easy and quick.

Cons

I honestly do not have anything negative to say about . The Customer service is great, great reporting features and simple to navigate around.

I love our cust service rep and how ingenuative \[sensitive content hidden\] is in solving issues. He has a tracker with development requests and stays in tune with the things in the pipeline so we can be informed and also so we can get everytghing out of that we possible can

Cons

lack of playing well with others aka integrations. Also, it is expensive. It is hard to commit to great initiatives (like certifications) when we only need it for 25 percent of our population but have to pay for it per user. Some flexibility with pricing based on usage would be helpful.

My experience has been good. I would definitely recommend . No system is perfect but I can say that it is taken our company to the next level.

Pros

Customer Support, \[sensitive content hidden\] is a rockstar! When I have questions, need guidance them customer support team are just a phone call away.

Cons

Reports still seem to be cumbersome to run. I think the the idea of having to pay for an advanced report to meet our needs is poor service.

Great team to work with overall. The sales approach was professional—informative without being pushy. \[sensitive content hidden\] was outstanding. She demonstrated strong knowledge not only of but also of other systems, which made it easy to understand key differences. She clearly mapped how time-consuming processes across multiple platforms can be streamlined and consolidated within Paycom.

Pros

User Friendly! Possibilities! Whole Business HR& Payroll Management in One. Scalable and modern with AI on board already!

Cons

The only downside is that we did not implement it sooner! Thinking about it- don't -just DO it. Don't delay they are the best out there.

Excellent! is easy to use and their customer service is great. All of our company's payroll and employee data is stored in our Paycom client portal and is easily accessible.

Pros

is very user-friendly and has all of my payroll and employee data maintenance needs in one spot. Paycom customer support is top notch!

Cons

Sometimes getting used to the portal after an update takes me a minute, but if I ever need assistance, my Paycom specialist is just a phone call away.

I love working with and would recommend to anyone looking for a new platform. I have been a customer for 11 years and wouldn’t choose another service provider.

Pros

I have used many other payroll platforms and ’s customer service is top notch! They are always available when I need them and are experienced enough to solve my issues quickly.

Cons

Building the performance reviews require multiple layers to get to the final product. If you have a complicated review, that are different for each position, the platform is not user friendly.

is a simple solution that is easy to use, has great customer support, quality data management, and has a good value associated with it. Between the web and mobile apps, it is easy to manage payroll information.

The system can be a little tricky to locate certain functions, but hasn't had any hangups or major issues.

It's a great platform that I recommend to everyone. I have used multipl HRIS systems, and is the best.

Pros

I love that the system has multiple solutions to setups. It's easy to use and streamline. The top products in my opion are: Benefits Administation, Payroll and Personnel Action forms. The reporting is easy to customize to your company's needs as well.

Cons

Setups can feel rushed at times and sometimes details get missed as a result. I have found this to be true with most HRIS systems.

I love the support gives. The value for the money is great its only $14 dollars for each person and the accounting and expense management is good to use as well.

Cons

In timecard search you have to refresh it several times to get the total hours and do it each time. I think is great for small business management.

The implementation and inuitive nature of the software have both been amazing. I'm definitely still learning but very impressed thus far!

Pros

Our implementation team has been incredible. They are so knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. It's been a whirlwind transition for me personally, and I can honestly say it wouldn't have been a success without them. I also think that reporting and some other features in are far superior to the competition.

Cons

I guess you get what you pay for. is significantly more expensive than our prior HRIS, and the pricing proposals are somewhat confusing. We had already signed an agreement prior to me joining the company, but I will admit it was difficult to breakdown and understand what our true cost would be.

Many troubles with benefits and arrears, making our team have to do the labor that we are paying for within our agreement

Customizable onboarding lists, ability to upload our company documents for ESS visibility, time off requests are simple, learning platform is nice.

Cons

Too many updates that require you to sit in on webinars multiple times per day and week. No written communication about updates. Don't have time for these.

excels in customer support from the day-to-day support specialist to the customer relations rep who spends countless hours in person helping to make sure we utilize the system to the fullest extent.

Cons

had some glitches with tax filing and adjustments for things like the 260E grants, and early on the PPP forms following Covid.

Overall, the software is simple and intuitive. That's really the basic level I could ask for. My dislikes are really just small improvements, but it's good regardless. The AI tool, "IWant" was recently added, but I will probably never use it. It's so easy to use, the AI isn't necessary for me.

Pros

I really like how simple and easy is to use overall. The UI is appealing and easy to navigate. I don't remember experiencing any bugs or issues; it's quite reliable. I love that Paystubs are easy to find and access, and the Test Sample Paycheck feature is cool. The app is great, however, I prefer the web version for most tasks. I mainly use the app to clock on/off.

Cons

1\. When you have pending punch edits and PTO requests, I wish the Read-only Time Sheet would show your current total hours as well as your tentative total hours. 2. Emails for approved punch edits do not show the date. So, when I have multiple punch edit approvals in a week, I don't know the dates they pertain to. 3. I do not like the Read-only Time Sheet view on the mobile version. Not a fan of the layout.

The customer service has scaled up since my first encounter with and there are constant updates. They are working hard to meet the demands of clients and the everchanging HR landscape.

Pros

The ability to have all actions for the life cycle of an employee housed in one system is paramount. Most items link up quite well and allow managers, employees and HR to see what is important to them. Very few bugs or issues to be found.

Cons

There are some items that the client can't build or see which can be frustrating but having a good specialist on your team can minimize that frustration.

My overall experience was good. It allowed me to learn more about how to electronically submit my work hours, requests for sick days and vacation time in a timely manner.

Pros

I liked that the website was organized, structured and less confusing than other pay roll websites. It was easy to navigate and did not have multiple tabs that can confuse users.

Cons

Least of all, I did not like that you could not add multiple hours for days worked all at once because sometimes people forget to put in their hours. It would help if user could edit and resubmit hours if they make mistakes.

### "Paycom for small employers"

has been responsive through the implementation process. It was unfortunate when the implementation manager had to confirm that what sales had promised wasn't exactly true. The payroll feature of "approve my check" is something my employees enjoy and find valuable.

Pros

Implementing was a huge project as my company uses Paycom for many HR functions (Payroll, timekeeping and attendance, applicant tracking, performance management, and license management. I appreciate having all of these different functions under one "roof" that allows for seamless collaboration. I have more time back in my day with a one-stop shop like Paycom as I am not struggling through manual processes anymore.

Cons

is a bit inflexible with some customization of features. I had a specific process I liked to follow to begin the recruitment process and Paycom just does not have the functionality to allow for that, so I have had to revise how I approach opening and filling requisitions.

It has been highly improved since we switched to in 2020. They are always updating and improving each function provided. Payroll has come a long way, and I like that we have one dedicated specialist. It was a lot more difficult to deal with different people every time we called in, this was a very smart decision.

assigns a specialist to help you through any issues or concerns, and they typically respond the same day, often within the hour. It is a one-stop shop for all your business needs, including benefits, payroll, financial reporting, and all HR related functions.

While I know some webinars summarize updates, it would be nice if there were more detailed videos for each change. Something that not only describes the change but also explains how it will affect different functions going forward.

Excellent transition overall. is a very strong product. We received support throughout the entire implementation process, which greatly helped reduce the stress that typically comes with changing software. Paycom’s employees were consistently friendly and helpful. The platform offers robust system capabilities, and the reporting tools are excellent resources for financial reporting purposes.

Cons

Our experience was entirely positive, and we encountered no negative issues throughout the process. Great Value for the money.

### "Unmatched Support and Training"

We have loved the support and training offered. We have seen a decrease in time spent on tasks and a huge increase in compliance with documentation.

Pros

I have been so impressed with the customer support. A designated specialist who is a part of a team who knows our company and always responds. They are quick to resolve issues we experience and always update the system to be easy to use.

Cons

The system is constantly updating - which while great - can be difficult to keep up with the new changes and features.
