With bigger issues, I can get a team member to respond pretty quickly and they are very helpful. Pros Functionality, does everything! I really love the org chart, payroll is a snap! Cons Running reports can be a challenge. Sometimes you have to run several to get the outcome that you want/need. Uploading documents can be a challenge at times. Every employee has the app and it can be opened by a 4 digit code chosen by the employee. You simply put in the 4 digit code and then the clock in page pops up so you can punch either in, out for lunch, or out for the day. Super simple and fast. Pros Paycom had a lot of tools to help on board employees, update employee files, and do payroll. Cons Wasn't super user friendly. May 9, 2018 5.0 We've used a number of the other payroll software and found this is our favorite for a company of ~100 people. Pros Great payroll system. We have employees in about 15 states, and it handles our needs really easily. It has also been a decent HRIS for us. Also, we have always enjoyed working with the people at Paycom. They are knowledgable and super friendly. Cons The HRIS and benefits open enrollment management is good, but not quite as intuitive as I'd otherwise hoped. It was very intuitive and you were able to do most things without the assistance of customer service. The great thing was that when you did need customer service though you had a dedicated rep who really knew your account Cons The only con I ever experience was with tracking PTO. It wasn't with just general tracking but it was always a big headache with roll over hours. The customer service team was ready to help in anyway possible though. This software looks like it was designed 10 years ago and does not keep up with industry standards. It's clunky and hard to use. Pros I actually can't say that I enjoy any features about this software. I guess it has a lot of functionality for HR but not for the employee actually using the system. Cons The UI is extremely outdated. It's hard to switch between an employee view and a manager view. I can't figure out how to receive email notifications when an employee requests time off. The website is easy to use, but the mobile app makes clocking in and out even faster! Cons On the mobile app, I don't care for the format of the Web TimeSheet Read-Only view. I would recommend for a company's payroll system. Pros Paycom was a payroll system my company used previously. I liked the fact that the setup was minimum and there wasnt too many issues! Cons There wasnt many flaws with the software as it worked pretty much to our liking. Usually it was browser cache and history type issues.
