Cons Since the software allows you to use one or more of the services offers, I think it would be ideal if that function is primary to what is visible when you go on the website instead of the extra features that you may never use. Pros Expenses are a necessary evil and everyone hates their organization's system for tracking them, so it's vital for compliance that its an easy process. makes the process super simple and painless. Having all of our payroll services centralized in one area in the palm of my hand(I LOVE THE APP!) keeps me organized and ensures that my timesheet accurately reflects time worked. Cons The app can have issues when switching networks and requires being closed out completely. This can be a little irritating, but overall is not a problem that effects the user experience. Hope to increase utilization as we grow. Pros As a small non profit new to using for payroll, this software is forgiving of mistakes and allows for corrections to be made. Technical support is a phone call away and is readily available to walk us through any questions we have. Cons offers so many services that are not utilized by our small non profit. The vast options available online took a little time to sift through but after a few cycles with great technical support, payroll takes very little time to run. Very comprehensive features: from hire, onboarding, benefits to talent rentention. Cons Bad experience with implementation: too rushed and inexperienced transition team, still finding issues and problems after a couple of months after the migration. Slow response from sales team to get issues resolved. Interface was clunky but just got refreshed. Limited APIs with other cloud applications. January 11, 2018 5.0 Payroll and Vacation Management Pros Prior to the use of , my company did not have the option of access old paychecks or vacation without contacting HR. The software has been very easy to use and by great for pulling up an old paycheck or checking my vacation status. I also like the way it incorporates company wide messages on the main menu of my personal page. The mobile version works quite well too. Cons Its a pain to have to have an account for managing your own personal paycheck and vacation while also having a different for managing vacation for all your employees. Pros I like how easy it is to find and verify my own employment/benefit/pay information, and the org chart has been super useful as a new employee at my current company. Cons It would be nice if you could hide sections that aren't relevant to you (i.e. time management as a salaried employee). Pros It’s quite amazing the features this software has. You can have the PTO, learning as well as tax all in one. Cons I guess sometimes it locks you out and then there is no way for you to reset it. Cons The app freezes a lot or locks you out with no ability to reset password on your own. It has sections that you may need but they aren't functional which is even more frustrating. Pros I like as a HR management tool. It was easy to track my payroll, make changes to W2s and W4s. Cons I realize that the security feature is important. There was a small learning curve at the start but I easily learned how to navigate the site and find everything I needed. Updates have also brought good improvements to the PTO Requests features. They were great about getting our company acclimated with several video conferences to show us how to navigate the app and website. Also, the app is such an awesome tool! Pros It saves us time and hassle because our employees can do so much themselves. That equates to cost savings. Cons Sometimes I have to hunt for the right report. But, I only use it a few times per month, so it could be me... Reason for choosing Paycom The clincher was the single database. But, the training videos are a big plus too. Pros Organized all the features to maximize utility and we can get around the application pretty easily. Like the fact that company specific materials can be integrated into the system very nicely and doesnt take a lot of effort to do it. Cons Logging in with a password is sufficient. It feels like the additional SSN field doesnt really help with security. And the checklists sometime shows pending item even if there is nothing to complete. It can get a lil annoying.
