Very good. The system handles all of our HR and Payroll processes. We are expanding to the learning modules to enhance our company training as well.

Pros

Paycom is a very robust HR/Payroll system that allows for employee engagement and self-management.

Cons

The Paycom app is not always reliable. The system is sometimes a little complicated in some areas.

It's very user friendly. I also enjoyed the Learning courses and being able to assign those quickly and edit it to our liking,

Unexpected logouts. Sometimes while working on one page for a while, I will get automatically logged out.

### "Parcom LMS review"

Overall experience with Paycom was great as an LMS. I found it easy to learn. There were many support materials to learn the software.

Pros

The LMS was intuitive, easy to learn, and robust. Online courses were easy to access for hte users.

Cons

It did not offer artificial Intelligence when I used the software. I would of liked the AI feature while developing training courses to improve the turnaround time to handle text to speech, auto generation of assessment questions and summaries, etc

Easy to use and convenient when it worked properly. Late clock ins have been a result to lagging but it was not a daily occurrence.

Pros

Easy to use format and easy to find categories for clocking in and time review, convenient clock in and out on mobile device.

Cons

Bugs and issues with attempting to clock in/out. The software often lagged then did not register clock in/out so it would need to be done another time.

### "Fast and easy payroll software"

We have been with them a long time and have went through many reps over the years. They have greatly improved over the years. It does take time for them to update with new tax laws that go into place.

Pros

Paycom allows us to process payroll faster. It also has the capwbility to help with new hire background checkd and onboarding.

Cons

Sometimes customer service with paycom is not the best. Response time is slow depending on your rep.

Banking team is hard to work/deal with. they put up roadblocks every step of the way.

Not good at all, my least favorite system I've ever worked on.

Pros

Texting was very easy and all in one place. I enjoyed it over having a separate app or system.

Cons

Mostly everything else. It is a difficult system to use. It doesn't integrate with much, reports as deliverables are actually an excel sheet I created with 5 different reports because there is no way to customize and make a usable report for KPI's unless I want to pay tens of thousands of dollars for their "people" to spend 60+ working hours to craft a report when it would take me 10 minutes if I was actually allowed to pull all the right data at the same time.

### "Paycom is easy to use"

I would say 8/10 because it has the features that I need to do my job. I use the expense feature all the time and the client portal.

Pros

I like that it's easy to use. From the employee side, it's easy to navigate where to fill in my time card

Cons

The customer support. We have a designated rep but when I call if she's not available, I get a rep who gives me the wrong answer. I would prefer to wait.

### "Paycom is the one-stop-shop for HR Tasks"

I really like Paycom. I liked the ability to create a "preview payroll check" on the employee side of the app. It's really a good tool for employees.

Pros

Paycom is a one stop shop for doing all of the HR things that we do as managers. It brings together the schedule, time-off requests, payroll, benefits and more in one application. I have found using Paycom to be simple and intuitive. Personnel who report to me have used it without intensive training of any kind.

Cons

The ability to build documents for employee acknowledgement process is a little cumbersome, but workable.

### "Paycom will NOT disappoint! "

From implementation to now, 2 years later, I am very satisfied with Paycom. Our employees love it. I've never had complaints on their end. It's not been perfect but has exceeding my expectations and our previous provider by far!!

Pros

The admin and employee side are extremely user friendly. Reaching your dedicated account specialist is always easy. You're not passed off to multiple people.

Cons

The documents and checklist portion of Paycom can be a tad confusing sometimes but typically easy to figure out! Our account specialist is always helpful in a snag though!

### "Paycom saves your time and money!"

Our implementation for the most part was very smooth. The training overall was great. For a brief time, we did have a support tech that wasn't too responsive or understanding of our needs but we were able to get switched to someone else that was a much better fit. Overall the platform has helped us simplify and optimize many of our processes making us much more efficient.

Pros

The platform has a lot of convenient features and is very user-friendly both on the employee and admin side. We like the ability to set notifications around dates, as well as being able to only give staff the ability to clock in/out for the jobs they are assigned. Information flows nicely throughout from Application to onboarding and hire.

Cons

The app can be glitchy at times for employees and security features are a bit over the top making it hard for some tech-challenged staff. Features are ala carte- so adding on functionality comes at a higher price tag

### "Paycom has just what I need! "

Great! I love Paycom. It's great having everything in one spot and only one place for my employees to go for their time punches, benefits, and payroll.

Pros

One stop shop for all my payroll and benefit needs.

Cons

Reporting needs some work. It's hard to find the reports I need and then some of the reports, I'd like to add more fields to them, but currently can't. I did see the most recent update that allowed that functionality on some reports, but not all of them.

Overall my experience was not great. I inherited the platform. It's very clunky and the interface is not user friendly.

Pros

It's better than a manual process, but in general, I did not like the platform and once they took away the dedicated representatives the platform experience got worse

Cons

The platform is not user friendly, the payroll process is outdated, the user and admin experience is poor. The Customer service was horrible!

### "Does the job!"

I just started learning how to do payroll with PayCom and it is not too bad. Clocking in and time management is easy to work with as well.

Pros

What I like about most about PayCom is the constant notifications of things that need to me done with payroll as well as the ease of contacting someone from PayCom when I need help.

Cons

There is just a lot going on especially when dealing with payroll. Overall that just comes with getting to know the platform and figuring out what/how everything works.

I like how user friendly the platform is. I also enjoy how we can call in and ask questions whenever needed.

Cons

I do not like the recruiting center. I find looking through applicants clunky and slow. When we have hired directly from the dashboard it has not been very smooth.

Overall, our experience has been outstanding, and I appreciate the continued improvements Paycom makes to meet user needs.

Pros

Our company recently transitioned to Paycom, and I cannot express enough how seamless the process was, thanks to our transition specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\]. No question went unanswered, and his deep knowledge of the platform made the experience smooth and efficient. His support was truly invaluable. Paycom has provided more functionality and value than any other payroll system I’ve used. The platform’s capabilities have been impressive, streamlining many of our processes.

Cons

The only area where I see room for improvement is within the attendance module. Our company operates with two separate point systems—one for tardiness (less than 30 minutes) and another for attendance issues (more than 30 minutes). Currently, we must manually allocate the points on the timecard and run a report to track accumulations. I wish this process were more user-friendly, but I understand Paycom is actively working on enhancements.

### "Solid Time Clock"

Pros

From an employee perspective, I find Paycom easy to use and easy to learn. I've not worked with it prior to my current company, but I'm able to communicate and make requests of my supervisor with ease. I can also quickly approve my check and view my tax information.

Cons

There is nothing I specifically dislike; my company has it set up to clock in/out with specificity which is good and bad. Good because they can keep track of how much people are working and slightly annoying when I clock 39.99 hours instead of 40 (not that the reporting really changes my pay, just a personal pet peeve).

### "Not as Reliable as Hoped"

When it works, it works great. However when there are errors in payroll it's always a big deal - and errors happened more often than was acceptable.

Pros

Eventually Paycom was able to handle all our different types of payroll - salary, hourly, commission, & piece rate.

Cons

The set up was brutal. Partly because of the layers of our GL, but also the implementation team changed several times.

Very easy to use, and hosts many useful tools such as org chart, online trainings, and previewing paychecks.

Cons

Nothing I dislike so far, it's a great interface on desktop and on mobile phone. Sometimes the location-based clock in feature doesn't work, but there are workarounds.

### "Paycom - Love it but there are some issues"

Pros

Paycom has a lot of features that makes it easy to use and it can be integrated with what we want for our growing projects. Our Paycom rep, Caitlin, is also very responsive and knowledgeable about the system.

Cons

A lot of the forms don't talk to one another so that it's hard to make a seamless transition through everything. For example: when an employee changes from PT to FT, the PTO bank goes back to 0 instead of rolling over the already accrued amount.

We are a returning customer to PayCom, my experience with our implementation specialist and assigned representatives have been nothing but amazing.

Pros

The platform is easy to use. Staff and employees easy navigate the platform. In addition there are always representatives willing to assist.

Cons

What I like lease is having to validate our client code, identity and questions twice when calling in.

Great, and for the majority of my time with Paycom, I had great support with the customer service side.

Pros

Paycom is, in my opinion, a top-notch payroll provider. It is an intuitive payroll system and user friendly.

Cons

I do not recall any part of Paycom I did not like. I do recall just a couple of representatives who were not very patient.

Great experience and great software that allows you to access all employee benefits in one place and the customer service is great.

Pros

Ease of use in the system and mobile phone compatible. The Paycom app is very easy to use and navigate.

Cons

Still some glitches with location mainly on non-iphone devices. Sometimes harder to login when switching from mobile to desktop.

It is mixed with user experiences significantly between employees using the portal and HR professionals

Pros

Everything all in one integrated with strong employees self-service and many other management options

Cons

As a single database can be a weakness as it may not integrate as easily with other third party softwares
