" March 28, 2018 5.0 An easy to use and free conference call platform. Pros Works every time. Every conference call I've hosted has had great call quality. All participants have been able to dial in and connect as you would expect. I've had the same number for quite a while, and I'm able to just re-use it as needed. No need to go back and sign up for additional minutes or anything. It's simple. One time sign up for ongoing use, from what I can tell. Cons Nothing at all to report here, since I can't think of any down side to the service. It just works and does what it's supposed to. December 20, 2019 5.0 Overall, I am very pleased with freeconferencecall.com and would recommend it to anyone who may need a conference line. Pros I like that this service is free. 😊 I also like that it allows me to work from home occasionally and still have the ability to call my clients, and my office staff, without having to give out my personal cell phone number. I also like that I receive an email after the call summarizing the details of the call. Duration and attendees. Cons I do not believe there is anything I dislike. This software even allows you to create an account, so the conference line number isn’t constantly changing. You get one number for your business and you get to keep using that number! Don't charge my phone line! Pros It was just as easy to dial into the conference call as with any other conference service. Not much else besides that. Cons I had a very negative experience with FreeConferenceCall.com when dialing into, using my Google Voice number, a call that a PR agency had set up. At around the ~10 minute mark, I got booted off off the call and was unable to dial back in. I tried again, couldn't get on. I tried with another Google Voice number, successfully connected, and then got booted off again after 10 minutes. Then I realized that the FreeConferenceCall.com call was exhausting the $0.10 credit I had in each of my Google Voice numbers for some reason. I don't know if this is an underhanded tactic or a bug, but it completely soured my impression of this product. Review Source Daniel P. Pros We dropped our phone service provided conference line after using Freeconference call. com for 1 call. Having a dedicated number without codes is super helpful for our organization (most staff have it memorized by now). Cons We'd had occasional drops, or outages with the phone number, but they were only temporary and we had a second number. Unfortunately, if one of the participants is in an area with bad service or has an older or less well-equipped phone, it can make them very difficult to understand for the other participants in the meeting. Pros We use this infrequently in our organization but when we do use it, it's very useful. It's sometimes necessary for us to meet with staff or volunteers or other stakeholders but it's impractical to do it in person. Although there are other tools we can use and have used, the simplicity of this makes it a go-to for quick setup (like when I don't have a lot of notice before having to set up a meeting). Cons I wouldn't recommend the free version of this software for a meeting where appearances are key--they do mention the name of the service, etc. during the process of connecting to the conference call and it could be offputting to some people. I use this website probably once a week, at least, and there are no charges ever. They provide you with a detail of the call at the end of each call, which is helpful. Cons Sometimes the quality of the call is not the best. It can be a little hard to understand people on it, especially when there are four plus people on the call. Can you advise me FreeConferenceCall -- I will post a link to the app NextDoor, using my Chromebook, to the recording made on my Samsung cell, then people click on it getting "This page uses features that are unavailable in your browser ..." and they cannot play the recording.
