Our export shipping is seamless, as our valued employees can utilize their ROM phone app to take pictures that are instantly integrated and associated with bookings. We invoice bookings within minutes and hours, instead of days. In a commodity based business, that simply translates into cash flow and reduced exposure to price fluctuation. Pros This software offers phone app usage in our yard for weighing in, load checking and shipping. ROM allows us to track brokerage loads and manage the various components/suppliers of those loads. Our customers love the robust reporting supplied by ROM in assisting their ESG requirements. Lastly, it seamlessly integrates into our accounting software and has been the single best software decision we've ever made. Cons After using ROM Enterprise, I liked least how foolish I felt believing other industry software could operate as efficiently and competently in our business operations. It keeps track of inventory at a basic level and keeps a customer database. Every transaction is in compliance with state regulations. Pros The ability to track customers and leave day to day notes has decent pricing. However you pay a large start up cost due to the fact that it is server based. You don't need internet however, so you can run in any weather. The reports are fresh and very straight forward. It keeps you in compliance for almost any state. Cons Support, is not always the best. You'll need an IT person to help you out on alot of your issues. We have had many of our IT s complain about the level of service.
