I donot use a lot of the options available. I use the basics. It’s is good for that. Customer service has been an issue when I have used it. Waited for months to get a new card reader even after Customer Rep said they would send it.

Pros

Visually good. I like the many reports you can look at to help run your business.

Cons

I feel the web based program can be inconsistent. I have had issues during taking payments of it not opening correct page and having to switch to phone to finish. I wish you could pull some reports through mobile app. If applicable, or for future. Missing a form of CRM. A way to keep in contact with our customers through email drip campaign.

Overall I'm very pleased, I just wish there were better/lower rates on the card services and equipment for card services. We can't justify the expense of switching our merchant services.

Pros

That it's accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. If I received an email from a customer or from our website over the weekend, I can still set up service calls or look up info without having to wait until I'm in the office on Monday morning. I believe responding to the customers quicker helps with satisfaction and retention.

Cons

I wish you had better rates on credit card services and the necessary equipment. I believe it would be better if our electricians could run card payments in the field instead of having the customers call the office to pay over the phone or wait for an electronic invoice with a payment link.

### "Great Software, Easy to Use"

Pros

It's easy to use and change the schedule. Also lets the technicians update their jobs as the day goes on. Easy to quickly see a rundown of all the days work orders.

Cons

Sometimes there are server issues that don't allow you to access your schedule. Also the autocorrect is tough to have when a lot of the words you put in are names and street names that constantly get changed.

### "Great tool for our Business"

I was the person in our company who researched and picked out rasorsync from a slew of other similar platforms. I chose razorsync because it was superior. The price is fair and the features are useful. The ease of use and ability to track and monitor our technicians​ ' progress is amazing. We love razorsync.

Pros

I like that this software allows us to manage our appointments and technicians in a way that is user-friendly​ and comprehensive at the same time.

Cons

There are a few features that I wish we could utilize more and that razorsync had but overall it is a very good software platform.

### "RazorSync is a life saver!"

RazorSync is a very cohesive product that helps me coordinate my plumbers on all their work orders, tasks, my customer database, allows files & pictures to be attached to specific jobs or the customer.

Pros

The map page allows me to coordinate the incoming jobs according to location and also to track my plumbers off their smart phone GPS so I can estimate ETAs for the customers. The Reports tab is also very versatile and I am able to obtain the necessary data I need with just a few clicks! The Support Staff are all professional and knowledgeable. I usually get answers to questions right away or in a reasonable timeframe. I love that if RazorSync is down, I still have access to the appointments via our gmail account!

Cons

Support hours are too short - It would be great if they were available so business in all the time zones had access during typical business hours (M-F, 8-5) or longer.

It really helps us stay connected and our business functions better as a result of using the software.

Pros

It is easy to use and has a nice mapping feature for customer appointments. We are now also using it for our time clock reporting, which is working out well. The customer service response time and assistance for anything we need is pretty prompt though and they are all helpful.

Cons

We have to make individual work orders for each technician, rather than being able to select 2-3 technicians for the same job. The software does have some odd glitches and will do things like not finding a customer that is known to already be in the database, show attachments as attached to the wrong customer (which is fixed by refreshing or clicking to another customer and then back to the original customer), the advanced reporting features do not produce reports that are easily downloadable, printable or edited.

If I started my own business, I would begin with razorsync. Great stepping stone product for small groups.

Pros

The customizable options were great, now that we are using new software, I miss these features

Cons

Seemed like less and less updates were being done, not really keeping up with the competitors.

We are able to keep track of employees and jobs. This software helps to run our business in a more organized manner.

Pros

Our scheduled jobs are easily accessible wherever we are. It is easy for our employees to use. Our employees are able to use this software as a time clock. As a business owner we are able to pull up the jobs each employee takes part in on a daily basis. We are able to see billable time versus down time. We are able to store notes for the customer that helps keep a log of the type of equipment they have. RazorSync is affordable for small businesses. We use all of these things to set us apart from other small businesses. We try to think BIG! That is why we use RazorSync.

Cons

Our company does not have a time frame or a day for most jobs. They are not all scheduled. We have to manually move jobs over to the next day if they are not completed or unassigned.

Pros

The best part of Razor is the customization to your industry. Their customer service is always on point as well. Integration with quickbooks is an amazing option as well.

Cons

Very few bad things to say. I wish they did technician visible timekeeping in their mobile app. Also i wish the desktop portal had a back button instead of having to go to the main page every time.

Pros

Ease of use, ability to give feedback that will be implemented if possible, and customer interactions.

Cons

Maps when entering new customers that doesn't default to my state. I live in Georgia and it give me address suggestions from Washington state before my own. Also, sometimes dose not upload photos and they may contain serial numbers that are lost.

Pros

the software is incredibly customizable and easy to work with. with their open API we've been able to implement middleware that allows razor to talk to some of the other programs we use regularly. the support from the staff is beyond exceptional.

Cons

some reports and functions that we are trying to do require additional customization and work arounds because its not how the program is originally programmed to be used, but with the support team we are usually able to figure it out and figure out and put in recommendations for future updates.

It was good. Really good but lately it has been extremely glitchy. Especially the mobile app side of it. It won’t sync users will have something assigned to them then it will disappear off their timeline.

Pros

Quickbooks sync, and ease of use. Trying to streamline business for ease of invoicing and collecting etc.

Cons

Service item search takes a while. Lately the app and desktop version has been very glitchy.

### "Very good in theory but only mediocre in execution"

Ultimately, RazorSync works well enough for our business to function and depend on it for the essentials. The GPS functionality at its best is not dependable but at its worst, just does not work. I have spent hours speaking to the engineering team to no avail. The customer support is fantastic, however, and will take the time and are available for generous hours throughout the day.

Pros

Excellent customer service, a lot of features, good comprehensive data banks, limitless storage for data, a lot of customization options

Cons

Very restrictive despite the amount of customization options, a lot of technical errors, not user friendly/intuitive, a lot of problems with navigating the website/user interface

Works fairly well for job tracking/note taking. Implementation for older generations lacks simplicity.

Pros

Overall Cost and implementation of software are low

Cons

Tech support and adaptability are dismal at best. Customer svc is nice and kind but rarely resolves issues. For instance, I can't even locate a selectable industry that is relatively close to the services we offer thus I selected warehousing.

Cost and ease/readiness of implementation. Unless major changes are conducted with RS we plan to change.

For the price it's a good startup company tool. But does not have the capability to grow with a company. We will most likely pull away from Razor Sync in the next year or two.

Pros

Cost effective solution that does most of what we needed

Cons

There is no PO Platform that would be a huge benefit with Quick-books, Needs a proposal software that is more focused to the customer. There are a lot of tech issues with the software, if someone could call, we could explain in more detail. Additional reporting for KPI's. Maybe addons for enhance tools.

### "RazorSynce experience"

Getting write ups faster from our work crew and knowing where they are at in a job. It doesn't always refresh as quickly as I like when the guys are out in the field.

Pros

It's ease with working with Quickbooks and getting the write ups done quicker.

Cons

You have to enter each item line by line and can't copy a work order to another work order. We've add to do some work arounds in order to make it function for our needs.

It's ok. It's just now linking up to quickbooks correctly without messing up everything! But the biggest struggle is customer access to easy payment of their invoices.

Pros

Easy to use. Customer service is quick to respond. not much else to say.

Cons

Customers complain the most about how hard it is to make payments from their iphones. They also want to be able to set up automatic payment on their own. THIS IS HUGE!!!!! People don't like giving their credit card numbers over the phone and they don't like having to log on and pay every time and request the ability to set up automatic payment. This is an issue we have brought to Razorsync attention for 2 years.

### "Time saver"

We don’t lose invoices, the feature to capture and add photos are priceless. Our front office saved about 1.5 hours a day from the increase in efficiency.

Pros

We were attempting to go paperless and be more efficient for our dispatchers. Razor Sync did both. Customer service has been very helpful.

Cons

We actually purchased this once before and found it too slow. Then three years ago we tried it again, the improvements were great.

### "Not quite right"

The product has it's advantages, especially the price. I haven't found a product that well designed for as low as a price as they offer. However, for a little bit more money, you can get products that are easier on the eyes and mind, which is worth it for me.

Pros

I enjoyed speaking and training with the sales and onboarding teams. They have an upbeat and positive energy, which makes you feel good about doing business with their company. Their customer service is great. They were accommodating and tried very hard to help me use the product in different ways to fit my individual business needs.

Cons

The product itself needs a fresh look. If they hired a few designers and made it look and feel as though I was using a product of today, that would help tremendously. However, the scheduling tool is what made me decide to look at other products in the market. Although I liked the drag and drop feature and the fact that you could schedule a job quickly, I couldn't get the view choices to work for me. Sometimes our scheduled jobs overlap in time for a particular user and this looked very messy and hard to read.

### "A Constant State of Refresh, Not Sync"

We have stayed with RazorSync in the hopes that the forever coming version 7 will be better. The pricing that we have and the fact that changing is a such a daunting task, we have figured out how to live with it for now.

Pros

RazorSync has their version of the main basic features you'd want in a product like this.

Cons

All of the features have so many little quirks that you end up spending more time jumping around in the program to do anything. Or you have to refresh your page to have anything you've done actually show. To many times we have had the field tech's enter in information that doesn't get uploaded to the system. Frustrating everyday to run our business.

### "Super easy to manage my guys!!"

Running my business as efficiently as possible.

Pros

We love that we can track our guys using the app. At any point I can pull up the map and see where any of my techs are. Also being able to attach photos for the jobs and notes is a great help to stay organized. We've been using Razorsync for almost 4 years now and we definitely rely on our system. Tony helped us to set up our whole system. They've been super helpful. Razorsync is by far our most used software for my business.

Cons

I really have no complaints with Razorsync. But if I had to reach and discuss an issue sometimes it's hard to get to talk to someone. And at the point that I'm calling I'm really needing help to get through whatever I'm stuck on. But when I do get someone on the phone they are super easy to talk to and are very helpful.

Saves time makes billing easy and payments can be made right in the system I have used it for 6 years and they have grown a lot and always add features! They listened to their customers on their needs.

Pros

Easy to set up the way you want it. Easy to use on tablets and phones in the field customizable for property management and customers with multiple addresses

I would like to be able to have multiple email addresses on an account for a customer

It’s an amazing program, and what was great about it was the razorsync team was able to make adjustments to the program to serve us Technicians better such as changing some of the language into our terms for the service technicians.

Pros

For the basics of the program that I needed to use razorsync on a daily basis it was very user friendly. Navigating was straight forward and easy to understand.

Cons

Some of the advance features on a administrative level were a bit more confusing, but I didn’t have to deal with that quite as much as the office.
