### "I researched many other programs for appliance repair service though this was the best fit for us."

RazorSynce gives us the ability to see the location of the customers for better location management. I am able to recall a customer and drag and drop into an appointment then edit minor details when I have time.

Pros

The search ability by addresses since my home warranty and property managers send payments by address not names.

Cons

I would like the system to be able to post a payment that is greater than the trip charge. Example: The customer has a $100 deductible and our trip charge is $75 but the invoice is not complete but I need to post payment. I can not post in software only through Quick-books then it looks different in Razor-sync.

Pros

The layout is easy to navigate. The reports to extract open orders is very useful.

Cons

Inability to have Razorsync integrate with how our Quickbooks is set up and still keep our individual accounts visible in Razorsync. Inability to make customers inactive if we don't do business with them currently, but would like to still keep the information if necessary to reference back to. Unable to sort ques to have the customers in alphabetical order when billing is needed to be performed.

Pros

Cons

The staff at RazorSync has alway been available for support and it has been that easy to implement the question have been few and far between.

This makes scheduling and updating customers while out in the field or from the office easy. It keeps us all update in real time.

Pros

I liked the learning curve which was easy when I first started to use RazorSync. The software is always being improved and support is great from the whole team if I ever have a question.

Cons

I admit I don't use it for running my credit cards in the field I just need to start doing it. I think for me it's not easy to find the service items I need to charge for a job on the phone version.

More intuitive than most and lost of options to customize. I love the ability to track my techs., so I can reward the movers and keep the non movers accountable.

Pros

The options for customizing functionality and the ability to share forms with entire team at once.

Cons

Slow to load and update, at times, with the need to force synchronization.

The software had just been purchased when I came on board, I was simply involved in shaping it to our needs. Haven't had the need to look elsewhere.

Great tool to have when having a feild guys!

Pros

It is very easy to use, I like that i can see where all my guys are, and they too can see where their other team members are.

Cons

sometimes it can be glitchy when loading, also when entering a new service address under a general contractor, you have to move the arrows up to the top to create the new service. More color options would be great for separating our employees for scheduling.

Pros

Easy way to keep our customer database organized and track our service calls. Prior to RazorSync we had a very manual way of dispatching service calls, keeping track of open work orders and processing closed tickets for billing.

Cons

Reporting could be a little more robust. Although I've found I can get most of what I need from customizing reports, I would like to drill into metrics like "first time fix", avg. time to respond and complete calls, etc.

I love that I can go in and schedule and the field tech can see the changes right away. It easy for scheduling, for running reports, and getting the field tech to the correct address. I have really enjoyed using this.

Pros

The thing I have loved most about Razorsync is it is very customer friendly. So easy to use, and to understand. I do most of the scheduling and love the simplicity of it.

Cons

I really can't think of anything I don't like about razorSync.

I love the ease of this product, very simple to use and navigate

Sometimes when my techs are out in the field and enter their notes and time, it either deletes or takes about 20 minutes-1 hr to update

A smooth scheduling platform for technicians and an easy way to bill service calls as they are completed.

Pros

Ease of use for our field technicians so we could count on them actually using the software. Integration with Quickbooks has been seamless.

Cons

Would like to see continued development. I haven't seen really any change in the software over the last 2 years. Maybe add modules like Project management and Job costing etc.

RazorSync was the easiest product to use and it had most of what we were looking for ease of service and install scheduling.

### "Good value for service company scheduling software"

The software has a lot of functionality and meets our needs as a small organization. Customer service has been very good so far.

Pros

Vary easy to set up customers, schedule calls, mobile app, cloud based Integrates to QuickBooks On line

Cons

The mobile app does not automatically sync if you have an I-phone but this is being addressed. It does not have the ability to apply a credit to an account. We use the accrual method of accounting so we book revenue after the service is performed. If someone is unhappy, we have to alter the original invoice because you cannot write a credit memo to apply to an invoice.

We have used RazorSync for over 7 years now and it has been a great fit for us. As a small company our budget would be stretched with what most similar software companies charge, but RazorSync is very affordable.

Pros

RazorSync allows us to access our customer database, schedule appointments, and invoice all in one convenient place. You can check sales and inventory reports.

Cons

Our technicians in the field can have difficulty processing credit cards or accessing the schedule if cell signals are too low.

Fantastic product, fantastic support. My experience was great!

Pros

This is a full-throttle, powerful package for managing service calls. With the multi-platform phone apps, I could schedule, track and communicate with my trucks. I can't say enough good things about it.

Cons

Like any new and powerful software, there is a learning curve on this and it is steep for my non-technical guys. It took a while to get them up to speed. The training package is helpful, but it was tough for my older workers.

Overall razorsync is a game changer for any company that uses it. I have been a razorsync customer for over 5 years and plan on it staying that way.

Pros

These are all the reasons we use Razorsync Good for: CRM Scheduling tracking work history customers, especially customers with multiply properties invoicing with QB integration service reports w/ pictures saving pictures in a work order customers signature option Tracking payroll hrs. Tracking Field Tech

Cons

1\. route optimization did work well for us, we had to always double check it and usually adjust it. we stopped using it because of this reason after about 90 days of using it when it first cam out. it may work better now. 2. Clocking in and out of work from a cellphone. isnt always as seemless as clocking in and out of work from a computer. Sometimes its doesnt clock people into or out of work and will get stuck syncing. clocking in and out of work from a computer in usually always seemless and never an issue 3. Searching for a property is hard too especially for a customer that has 50 or more properties. finding he customer is easy but there is not an search with the customer account to search for a specific property. When you search for a property in the customer search using a property address, the search results produce only the company name the property is associated with.

I’ve been using this software for about 6 years with 2 different companies. Works very good for our small business. Customer is really good as well. Don’t have any complaints about this software.

Cons

Really only complaint is some of the features don’t work as well when you use the app on your phone.

Excellent! Tangible, identifiable increases in customer retention, job completions, tracking and flow through billing. Field technicians are averaging one extra customer per day which YTD compared to before RazorSync has increased billings and revenues by 20%+.

Pros

Assimilation of data from accounting application into RazorSync to populate customer data.

Cons

Limited permission levels. You are restricted to either User level or Admin level. Mid level managers don't have the capability of seeing all work for a group or area under supervision and can redirect as needed without being a full admin.

I love that all jobs and service requests are online legible for great reading

Cons

The item that I like least about this software is that I can not merge records.

PAPERLESS!!, immediate invoicing, payment recording, record keeping with pictures, and scheduling.

Pros

It was easy to set up and navigate through.

Cons

Proposal format is not customizable and no attachments field at the address level.

Out of the half a dozen or so programs I looked at and tried, RazorSync had the most features, best work flow, value, and easiest work arounds that fit my business.

Pros

I know where all of my guys are at all times. Very easy to look up past, present & future customers. I know what jobs are lined up for which days and moving stuff around is super easy & quick. I love all the reports they have. So many to choose from and customizing them to suit our needs is great. I enjoy everything about this software. Makes keeping track of everyone so much simpler.

Cons

There isn't much I don't like about this software. I would like to be able to turn off certain features for specific people. To have more control to limit certain people from things.

invoicing

Pros

mobile app is nice to use. converting work orders to invoices is nice. invoicing seems to work well with payments.

Cons

the time clock is horrible. no way else to put it. there has to be a way to adjust the techs time if we misenters it or does not enter at all. we ahve to use another cloud based software for time clocks. this was one of the major reasons to coming to razorsync was to tie the techs time to jobs and we do not have this feature. we have asked for an update and no one has providing us with one.

I wanted a solution better than dropbox and a text editor for managing tickets for my service company. I rolled out razor sync and operated unsatisfactorally with it for 1.5 years until my business grew and I was forced to revert to dropbox and a text editor. I will be switching to Quickbase shortly.

Pros

The idea that it would enable me to feed invoicing information into quickbooks.

Cons

The fact that the software randomly won't clock in, or out, randomly double charges customers, integrates poorly with quickbooks, has no ability to easily retrieve notes and information collected in the field.

Pros

It keeps up with absolutely everything we need day today in our business. Great resource for information management and keeping track of our technicians.

Cons

I just wish I could put my customers/ addresses in alpha order. We have so many addresses for multiple customers
