### "Nice platform - didn't work out well for our type of business"

Implementation was a breeze, setting up our accounts was easy, and using the customer and business app is seamless. This product just wasn't a good fit for us in the medical space.

### "FLOK for Customer Loyalty"

We want to encourage repeat customer visits, and FLOK enables us to do this easily without the need for our customers to carry another membership card around in their wallet.

Pros

It is a Rewards Program for Customer Loyalty that does not require carrying a card around. It is a very simple phone app, and it allows customers t swipe and track their repeat purchases.

Cons

The app does require our customer to have their phone app read a code at the cash register to register their visit. It would be so much better if it automatically register their visit upon payment of their purchase without this additional step.

Reason for choosing Flok

(1) No need for customer to carry a membership card. It's a phone app on their cell phone. Simple to use, and unlikely to be lost/forgotten because it's on their phone. (2) No need for our cashier's to take their time to ask for customer membership#. The Responsibility to register customers repeat visit to get their rewards is totally on the customer.

### "Very poor!"

Pros

Really nothing! Stopped using it after wasting time on it for months. I spent so much time explaining it to customers.

Cons

WARNING! Be carful of Flok! For one, I bought a years worth of this service and stopped using after 6 months because it was NOT user friendly. As a small business owner it was more work than it ever was worth. I ended up spending so much time coaching my customers on how to use it and it just wasted so much time. Several customers complained about how confusing it was. So, I stopped using it. I figured I was out the money for the year, but oh well, won't do it again. However, the worst was yet to come. Little did I know they keep, without consent, the billing information of their customers on file. Which leaves their customers, most small business owners like me, vulnerable to hackers. They keep it on file because they hope their customers, like me, won't remember when their renewal is up and they can automatically bill them another year. They then will refuse to give a refund citing some fine print buried deep within their website, saying it must be cancelled before being charged. Once you are charged you are stuck with it and they refuse a refund, even if you don't want to use their sub par service. Could they have sent a courtesy email warning you before being charged ! Of course they could have. But do they? Absolutely not. Because they are hoping you won't notice and cancel and they will have an opportunity to steal from your small business. I would NOT recommend this Flok!

We use FLOK to reward our loyal customers, and to send out marketing texts.

Pros

Ease of use, adaptable, minimal learning curve, accurate tracking, blasting messages to customers, great for multiple sites, integration with our POS.

Cons

Limited available reporting. Have to contact company when issues arise. Stand alone. lack good marketing material to give customers, have to explain with almost every download & install.

This is an incredible way to market your business and to get your customers returning. In this day and age, everybody is expecting some sort of reward for doing business with you and this is a fantastic way to reward them. Customer service is incredible I highly recommend this business.

### "The Flok staff are rude and have terrible customer service"

For a software that is supposed to help inspire customer loyalty, the sales team/customer service is INCREDIBLY rude. I made an account to test out the product and see if I was going to recommend their service to a client I was making a communications plan for. Flok didn't end up having the features we needed and we found a different customer loyalty program that did. A week later, today, I received a call from rep and he said he was from Flok and because I had just heard of their service a week before it didn't jog my memory immediately. He snapped at me "You know, the customer loyalty program you're trying to use." He then wanted to know about my business or needs I had and I informed him I was making a communications plan for a client and trying to set up a loyalty program, but we found another service that better fits our needs. He then snapped "Well that's up to you" and hung up on me. Never in my life have I ever experienced customer service like this. What if Flok wasn't a good fit for this current client but I could keep them in mind for another client in the future? I will never recommend any client to use Flok. How can someone be an expert in customer loyalty if they can't even hold a respectful phone conversation? They can't. I tried to review them on Facebook and Google but they aren't registered to receive reviews on either site, which is probably for this exact reason. Seems extremely sketchy to me. Steer clear.

could have worked well, but for features only to work in money. and the beacon also never worked properly

Cons

terrible service was promised features in £, but they never arrived, and as that was the reason for purchase was very upset / disappointed

This business will keep charging you an annual fee, even if you cancel their services. Then they tell you that they sent you an email notifying you of the charge. Since their messages go to spam in my account, I never get them. I cancelled a full year ago and they still charged me for another full year! Very creepy!!

Pros

I looks like lots of people are getting notified about your business.

Cons

I got NO business from this software. It was too complicated for me to figure out how it worked. I needed to keep paying extra for everything.

Both Flok and FiveStars pursued me for use of their loyalty system. I chose Flok because of their price point. Every business watches their dollar and Flok offers a low annual fee with TONS of features. They send you literature, flyers, cards, and a sensor to put in your business to detect customers. Their dashboard is easy to use and their integration with Facebook is great.

Pros

Price. Ease of use. Web interface. The device in store to alert customers. Ability to communicate with customers via SMS. Integration with social media.

Cons

Could use some work on their SMS messaging, but that's about it.

WASTE OF MONEY! DO NOT PURCHASE. If anything goes wrong they'll steal your money. What happened to "the customer is always right"? They don't give any consideration about you and enjoy taking your money. Terrible customer service.

Cons

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE APP. This app does not work, and they don't care. No one from my loyal customers or even new customers wants to download the app. I have gained zero loyalty from this application and I've lost money. They are completely unwilling to refund any money at all because "that wouldn't be fair to the monthly subscribers who pay more." It's a complete waste. They made their buck, congrats, but if you are considering using this app: don't. Move on to something reputable.

### "Horrible Company - do not fall for their sales pitch"

I signed up for "LoyaltyBlocks" who then changed their name to flok. They have almost no users in Atlanta as far as I can tell. I never met anyone who has heard of them. The app did nothing for my business and when i cancelled they said I missed my renewal date and they would not refund the annual charges. My renewal date was march, i received the bill in April and disputed it in May. They sent an email to the wrong address and tried to use this to fight my dipsute of the charges.

No customer service, check out the complaints at the BBB.nothing, don't buy! It doesn't work and they aren't even based in the U. S. No phone number to call except for sales, very shady!

Pros

I liked the IDEA of the product. It wasn't helpful for my business though and I used it for less than a month. One pro I will say is that it took no time to unsubscribe from the service and all I was out was the remainder of the free trial. I don't think I was ever changed.

Cons

My customers had trouble finding my shop once downloading the app. There was no way to add loyalty points for online customers without printing a QR Code which I had no time for with the amount of product that I move online. I had 3 customers sign up for this and then 30 sign up for the new service I use. I believe that says a lot about the service.

I have yet to use Flok for my business, but have been a consumer user and may consider it in the future. I am impressed by the ease of use from the consumer end and would feel confident integrating it into my business, should I choose to do so.

Pros

I liked that it was a very visual interface face with photos of the location and some of the product(s). I also liked that users could upload their own photos as well.

Cons

It would crash occasionally, but what app doesn't?

Terrible. Wish I had not purchased a year.

Pros

I bought this so my own clients could invite their friends to get to know our company. The referral process is misleading and nobody has been able to use it.

Cons

Referral feature basically doesn’t work. There is not a clear spot to enter the referral code and the code has an ! At the end which is not part of the referral code. Customer service is terrible.
